3TH sounds like only two boards are running.
Which is about enough to max out an 800W PSU.
Got any more info?

Just to curb some of the half-dozen-odd emails I get per week - Just to curb some of the dozen-odd emails I get per week -
I am still technically over capacity. I do not forsee having any available space in the next few months. I do not host GPU rigs. I do not particularly like the L3+ either.

Here, let me spell it out for you. By quoting some replies about six inches above what you just posted. Because apparently people can't read anymore. First off, it looks like you need the 2Pac support thread since you're running a 2Pac.
My first piece of advice would be to check in the 2Pac support thread, since you're running 2Pacs.
I would recommend abandoning this thread and looking elsewhere.
Specifically, the 2Pac support thread.
The software discussed in this thread is two years old. The 2Pac thread is fresh, and includes both a new build of cgminer and a completely rewritten driver that also supports the Compac and does it better than this one ever did.
Advice step number 1 - go read the first post of the 2Pac support thread as referenced above.
It'll point you toward better software. That'll probably help.
Because you're running a 2Pac. I think at this point I'll just stop telling people that, if you're running a 2Pac, you want to check out the 2Pac support thread. Really there's no reason not to expect a software driver written two years before the 2Pac existed, for a 3-year-old version of cgminer, to work, or because the giant text on the back of the stick says "2PAC" of course the much newer support thread with "2PAC" in the title clearly can't be the right place to ask questions. Because it's only been pointed out in pretty much half the posts from this year in this thread (a lot of which are from the manufacturer) but that's okay, doesn't mean it's good advice or anything that people should notice or pay any attention to.

Kinda depends. I've never used a PDU, but I also either did or redid basically all the wiring I've ever plugged miners into so a PDU would have been both redundant and an unnecessary expense.
A lot of people will recommend a PDU if you require an electrician to pull you a fresh 240V circuit, because he can just terminate it with the right outlet for your PDU and be done with it.

They're designed to pack as much hashpower and power into as little space as possible with small heatsinks, which means the fans need to be strong and need static pressure to do that.
By the way, this is terrible from a thermodynamics or quality engineering standpoint. They do it because they get a slight increase in profit margins and as long as they last longer than the warranty the manufacturer doesn't really care if they burn up or not. Which is pretty universally terrible.

Honestly, everything I know came from talking with Novak the aerospace engineer. One of our future plans was to shift everything to renewables so we'd probably end up building some VAWTs and he was looking into it.
I have conceptual knowledge but no real-world recommendations of existing products.

I don't think you'd mine many bitcoins with a rig like that. Seems like a losing venture. You might get more interest if you posted in the Altcoin forum.
Like the sticky post at the very top says to do about GPU rig posts.

A combination of the two should be pretty reliable. Solar is best during the day (for obvious reason) but wind power tends to pick up at night. For small use a vertical-axis turbine tends to be better than horizontal-axis, requires less wind just to get started and typically doesn't have to be as tall to capitalize on local air currents.

Some people have very cheap power and can still profit from older hardware. Some people have free power and can profit from other people paying the bills for them without realizing it. And some people are just stupid and don't realize what they're buying.

Well if you're looking for help from this thread, the first place to look is the first post. That'll answer about any question you might have, including what software to use and how to use it. I assumed you had done this, which is why running a software and driver two years older than the product you're trying to use made no sense.

Well first off, why the eff are you using cgminer 4.9.2?

Uh, what? Where did you see that?

I've sent more S9s in for repairs out of hosting than anything else. Just crossed 3 years of hosted miners in my current facility.
I also had a buttload of scrapped-out BTCGarden machines but I stripped useful parts and sent the rest to recycling at least a year ago, maybe more. Didn't keep the ASICs, didn't think there was much use for them since they run literally ten times the power of current gear. Did the same with a buch of AM Tube and Prisma boards - jeez those Prismas I parted out would have been good for something like 2000 chips.

I've got about a hundred S5 Beaglebones if someone needs one.

Dude, it's your stuff. I can't really tell you not to sell a thing which you own.

In my mind, the perfect home miner won't have rampant failure issues, won't have a 40% markup for the convenience of quiet fans, and will have user-accessible adjustments for core voltage and operating frequency. The last approximately "perfect" home miner was a version of Antminer S3.

What I hope is the final version PCB has been ordered.
I've also got chip sources secured that'll keep me rolling for at least the rest of the year. That's good news because these pods eat 8 chips each.
If the final version works as expected, that'll solidify the Terminus form-factor. Any future pod will be built to the same physical specs, so any cases or custom whatever-the-heck will work for them too.
Optmizer is finalizing the buck design that'll be used on Bitfury gear, which is cool. Hopefully I can get something laid out and tested soon.

No, what 5.3.2 added was the Compac. The 2Pac is a different breed of cat about a year and a half newer.

Nope. As far as I know, there is no BFG support for this product.
