Bitcoin is far from dead but I think the spirit of innovation in certain countries is dying, along with the revolutionary spirit of decentralization. Most of the speculators who came into Bitcoin for the quick buck are the ones always panic selling after a good dose of FUD or some stupid ban or regulation that comes out of the arses of Governments and Banks, who as you can plainly see, are NOT on the side of the little person. We either need to wake up as a human race to remove the shackles of corporate slavery, or we have to kowtow down to every ugly decision our banks and governments make on behalf of lining their own pockets. Bitcoin for me was a symbol of freedom and innovation, but soon I think if the spirit of innovation and freedom wane, then Bitcoin MIGHT die off with it. 

This is only a decision you alone can make. Asking investment advice from your fellow forum participants might not be the best place to go to. If you do take the advice from here I would go the middle route, that is, keep a little Bitcoin as a hedge then invest the rest either in other crypto currencies or in another type of asset that you think might have some upside. The whole financial market space is in tatters right now so you might find some good bargains.

The trade Engine is stuck right now. I lost 8k COSS trading with a buggy engine so am not a happy bunny right now because 8k COSS is a lot of money for me that's almost 8% of my whole stash/ coss bag. I am going to cry myself to sleep tonight and once this contest is over, I don't wanna day trade anymore lol as day trading has become a disaster zone for me. Oh well such is life and some people win and some like me are born losers, but I won't give up..something good has to happen one day even for the likes of me lol.

Congratulations on your win. Maybe I should be joining in more of the action because the actual price of COB token has tanked badly over the last few weeks and I don't get it, as it is a fully functioning exchange. I have 50k COB sitting on the exchange but was shocked a few days ago to see the price plummet. COBINHOOD is worth more than this, so I hope we see a price hike soon. It's a decent exchange with a lot happening there. Let's hope things pick up when the lending happens on the exchange and we can earn COB lending money out to other trader whales.

I think in all markets there are boom and bust cycles but because this bear cycle was so long and huge, I also am wondering if this crypto market will boom again or will it just flatline slowly into oblivion? The only thing that makes me feel we might boom again is because of the technology that is being used in a wide variety of businesses now both fintech and mainstream. If more and more normal peeps like me get interested in the technology and want to back it, then I think we might see the real boom from the masses, instead of just the speculators.

This is at least something good. At least one Country is open to the good things that come with using Bitcoin. I guess because so many people send remittances back home they think it might be a more cost effective way to get money into the Philippines. We need more and more countries to be open to Bitcoin and make legislation that is welcoming to Bitcoiners in general, then if more and more people adopt it, then we might see a more stable price in the future and not a coin just manipulated by whales.

I have still some TAAS I have been holding to collect a little dividend but I do not know has TAAS recently invested in any new ICOS? I have not seen any news in the recent weeks or is it I have missed something? The price is still up I think since time of launch but has gone down since time of the last boom like most altcoins. I hope that one day I will gain profit from holding TAAS over the long term. I only earn around 0.1 to 0.2 ETH each profit run now because I had to sell off some for living expenses but am holding the rest.

Yeap we all lost out big time for not selling in late DEC 2017 and early JAN 2018 but there you go, we all live and learn. I wouldn't dump any coins for cheap right now, unless it is life and death and you need to live off the income. I am just taking out my basic living expenses and have cut down on everything I could possibly cut down on, like a coffee once a week in the local cafe I used to go to with my Mother. Now we don't go out at all and economize in order to try to get more coins together and grow the bags again. DON'T SELL CHEAP!

Well the only way I see how to recover my loss, is work to earn more Bitcoin and Altcoins via various freelancing channels and also to hold the coins that have gone down and hope to God that one day we get a bull run and they all go up again. I am so sad that right now my portfolio is so low compared to what it was in January that I just want to cry in a corner and hide, but that doesn't solve the problem. I have to work harder than ever now in the hope I can recover my losses, through hard work. I am a lousy day trader, although I am day trading in one contest right now, in the hope to win some coins.

I don't know what the future of Bitcoin is exactly and can't really predict as these markets are the most volatile and unpredictable of all markets so far. I personally believe that because the whole marketcap of both Bitcoin and the other altcoins is very small compared to all the other financial markets, there is huge manipulation going on and I doubt anyone can deny that. I am sure in the future some bigger technology will take over where Bitcoin has left off, rendering it obsolete, then we will have to worry about the price I guess.

COSS is one years old today. I just saw it on Twitter. I don't feel like celebrating just yet though with this deflated price, but I guess it could be an opportunity to buy more. Someone just took a big dump and dumped a load right now so anyone who had buy orders in low was pretty lucky I guess. We need FIAT and the API really to make any difference in the price and a ton of more volume I guess. I just hope soon our hodling from day 1 pays off at some point. I will celebrate once it goes back to the ALL TIME HIGH price of 3 USD. Then yeah I have something to celebrate then. 

This is a very motivational post and congratulations for your earnings. That is pretty impressive and you guys are lucky because most of you live in developing countries where your cost of living and average salaries are much less. Here just to pay my rent, food and bills, with no extra luxuries costs me over 1.2k Euros a month, which means I have to work my ass off just to survive. So I think those in the developing countries will be much richer than I am much faster for doing less hehe.  I wish sometimes I could move to a developing country to cut my living costs but my family is mostly in Europe so am here for now. 

If that ever happened again to me, I would not hold all the bag anymore and I would sell at least 50% of it because if it goes up that much, then I know it will come down again. My biggest mistake ever is that I never sold any of my coins at their ALL TIME HIGHS and now I am paying the price for a crappy priced down portfolio that soon at this rate will be worth nothing if the market continues to down trend. I am feeling really low right now and feel like dumping everything right now to buy back even lower lol. 

Let's wait and see when the dollar goes to an all time low, we might see the resurgence of Bitcoin as a safe haven as it has a limited supply. What is wrong currently with Bitcoin is the infrastructure. Not enough infrastructure has been built around Bitcoin to make it enticing for the Average Joe to come in and look at it as a long term investment, or be able to use it. I talk to my family about Bitcoin and they still don't get it lol, so we need more advertising and easy infrastructure for noobs so they can be enticed into Bitcoin ownership.

I don't think much can help at the moment as market sentiment is at an all time low. Stock markets are tumbling as well so that doesn't bode well for crypto currency investments like Bitcoin. Everyone is cashing out everywhere and those who made a profit have long gone and bought their lambos and villas. We need some serious cash investment from the big whales to come back in and entice the little fish to also invest in Bitcoin, but if they don't come, no one else will either.

I think for now you should always check the Team and see if they are real people. This for me is a big red flag if they are pretending to be people they aren't and also if they hide their identity for so called privacy reasons. I have been scammed int he past way too much not only in ICOS but by developers who never showed their face and got me to stupidly pay upfront for work they never did and they ran off with my funds. ALWAYS make sure there is a proper transparent team with a decent track record.

I like new cryptocurrency exchanges and the fact that you want to implement FIAT and also have your own debit card is ambitious but nice if you can implement this. With the market in flux the way it is behaving right now, we need access to FIAT pairs in the same place and on the same exchange so we can act fast whichever way we want to trade. The copy trading functionality also is a great addiction and I will read up more on the time line when I get a spare moment tonight.

Is this a little bit like Cryptocompare and blockfolio? I want to understand more on how it all works as I am quite intrigued by it. I will read more of the website and whitepaper later in the day when I get a chance as I think this could be a nice undervalued ICO to invest in. I like looking at smaller cap projects that might actually perform very well in the markets over time, even though at the moment we are in a bit of a bind with this bear market trend.

Tell me about it, it is getting too long right now but at least DEBS are not too bad in price compared to a lot of coins out there. They have a solid team and road map and I have just a few k DEBS which I am holding and have kind of forgotten amount. I will check the price three to six months later or every month in general for price movement but I don't see anything going up any time soon to be honest. If the price is fairly stable at this point I am content with that, but not expecting any miracles just yet.
