501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Digitex a new shoot to the moon? on: March 16, 2019, 02:41:19 PM
DGTX has done a ten x since ICO, but unfortunately, I missed it and bought in between 3 and 8 cents. I think before launch though, on the 30th APRIL 2019, there still might be room for one more leg up and then we will see exactly how many people will actually trade it as opposed to just hodling now purely for speculation purposes. Over a million people have signed up to the exchange and they call it the Bitmex killer because you won't have to pay any fees. It has a really huge telegram presence as well with over 60k members. Anyway, I got a little ba gin case it does a 10 x again by the end of 2019. I might be lucky!
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO still have huge chance of surviving on: March 16, 2019, 02:38:40 PM
This year I can only count a few ICOS on my fingertips that might have been successful or stayed the course. The days of 2017 are well and truly over and now investors are getting much savvier than ever before. Also, more and more securities are popping up and people are preferring to invest in those. Having said that though I think the ICOS that DO become successful will be heavily backed by real capital coming from venture capital firms and institutions that will be smart enough to buy tokens/coins in the presales or private sales. I hope 2019 can be much better performance wise than 2018.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Too late too buy BNB?? on: March 16, 2019, 02:31:56 PM
I think we still have time before 2020 to buy more BNB. I only have a small bag of it and I use it for trading on Binance, but as Binance keeps growing and developing as a company, I wouldn't be surprised if next year it could go to a nice crisp 50 dollars or so. I think though the time for making a huge multiplier on it is gone though. Those who were lucky enough to get it for ten cents or a dollar or two max really made a killing on it. Now anyone buying would be mainly just to add a safe coin to their portfolio and for trading privileges or discounts.
504  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Pump is Coming on: March 16, 2019, 02:27:50 PM
I doubt we will see a parabolic climb to ATH and GLORY like we did in late 2017, early 2018. I think this time it will be a slow and gradual organic growth northward as more infrastructure takes place and legislation paves the way for the big guns and institutions to park their money into Bitcoin and Crypto, long before the Masses are truly allowed in. Only when the big capital gets its teeth sunk into this money market, will the floodgates and marketing be geared towards the lay people. After all those big institutions want to profit from it so they will buy at the 81% Fibonacci retrace before the slowly pump it for the masses to get in.
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never give up on: March 16, 2019, 02:23:32 PM
I almost got totally wiped out of my crypto portfolio in 2018 and it really crippled me to the point I went almost to the edge, but I never gave up and although right now I am not out of the woods yet, I can still say I am relying on crypto for my bread and butter but want to start putting a little aside hopefully of what I earn from trading and other activities into Bitcoin as the sentiment towards 2020 will be quite bullish I think from now on, especially with Bitcoin halving next year and the block rewards going down for the miners. It's time to accumulate if we can. Moral of the story is, NEVER GIVE UP OR GIVE IN.

507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin in 2019 on: February 15, 2019, 07:06:45 AM
LTC will naturally rise in price this year due to the fact that it will be halved so that means miners will earn half the block reward so inflation for LTC will be less and less. I am wondering if the LTC halving might be a catalyst to spark a mini bull run before Bitcoin halves next year, but not sure if it has the power to up the trend so drastically just all by itself. Let's see what will happen before August when the event is planned to take place. I might buy a few and hold on the dip and see what happens. Even if I doubled my money, took my capital out and keep the rest for a major bull run it's still a good inning. I don't look at the ten x or 20 x multipliers now for the big coins, can only dream of those types of multipliers for small-cap coins now with potential.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2019 No Bull Run, the Bull is Sleeping on: February 15, 2019, 06:59:05 AM
I can't see a bull run happening early on this year, if it does start, I think it might happen nearer the end of this year or in 2020 before the Bitcoin halving starts. Of course, there will be some pumping and dumping and there will be some coins that will moon and good chances to take some profit, but I think the next bull run will be a slow and steady organic climb. I doubt it will happen as it did so fast and furiously like in the previous bull party. Too many people wisened up by not taking profits in 2018, so now they will dump at any time they see a nice price rise, so a bull run will take a lot more effort next time and will need a lot more mainstream and institutional investors to come into lift this slump in the markets.
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Generational change – the most powerful Bitcoin price catalyst on: February 15, 2019, 06:48:16 AM
We are in no doubt involved in a new era and history in the making and it will take a full generation of around 20-25 years to make Bitcoin as mainstream as the Internet is today. I may be an oldie at 53 years of age compared to most involved in Bitcoin, which is a much younger Demographic, but as I can see the vision behind what Bitcoin has unleashed and how the Blockchain can solve many problems on every level, from governance to private micro-financing and the Unbanked, I see we are in a very important phase in our human and technological development. Younger people who are aspiring and have dreams also for a better world and true freedom will want to be a part of it. NOW WE MAY HAVE A LOT OF ROGUES AND DARK HORSES RUNNING WILD IN THE CRYPTOSPHERE BUT AS MORE REGULATION COMES, SO WILL THE MAINSTREAM PUBLIC AT LARGE COME IN DROVES TO OWN bITCOIN.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The growth of the crypto market. on: February 14, 2019, 07:26:36 AM
I think it is good to look both at very solid small cap projects with high potential to make good multipliers within the next year and also good lot sizes in investing in all the top projects. I think if one invests in say 100 very good projects and Bitcoin say between 100 to 500 bucks in each project and say 10 times that in your top ten projects of choice. I do believe that in maybe 2-5 years you might have a very good retirement fund set up and plenty of cryptos to fund a decent lifestyle for wherever you wish to live in and what you want to choose to do with your life. For me at 53, time is running out, so all I can hope for now is to hopefully have a decent retirement in my golden years and enjoy some good food and a healthy lifestyle.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: everyone want to be a ETHEREUM (ETH) on: February 14, 2019, 07:17:59 AM
You will always have pioneers and innovators and you will then have the plethora of competition that comes up right after to try to compete and take part of the market share. This is business as usual, even in the Cryptosphere. I actually do like competition when it spurs innovation and growth in technology. It is very healthy if there is this kind of competition because it makes the Innovator or Pioneer less lazy and if ETHEREUM is clever it will invest in resources to stay one step ahead of the curve, to adapt and innovate to make a stronger and better ETHEREUM model for years to come. Let's take competition as a healthy marker to make sure Ethereum can step up the pace to scale, otherwise, it could lose its shine over the longer term.
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people or percentage has held at least 50 or 100 btc at one point? on: February 14, 2019, 07:14:35 AM
It would be really interesting to know that fact. The highest I went to was 43 Bitcoin, when I bought into an ICO but never sold those coins when they were worth 43 Bitcoin but sold them when they went down to 12 BTC, ALSO failed to sell 38 BTC worth of Coins last January so for me to ever get to 50 BTC in pure BTC would need a huge miracle or for me to make a few hundred thousand dollars worth of exploding Crypto to buy that amount of Bitcoin. So I wonder here how many people have actually 50 or more BTC in their hand? I would love to know even that percentage amount from this forum, how many big BTC holders do we have right now Any ideas in here anyone knows?
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the large variety of Altcoins hurting the market? on: February 13, 2019, 03:34:01 PM
I would say there are pros and cons to so many altcoins. The main CON is that it dilutes a very small financial market, hence some very good projects have less capitalization than what they are truly worth. Also, another CON is that many small-cap crappy coins get easily pumped and dumped by pump groups, thus leaving many noobs and unsuspecting speculators with being left with hodling very useless bags. The RPOS are that micro investors can come and invest in many different projects that they like at a fraction of the cost of traditional investing and on the blockchain everything is so much easier to do. Also a PRO, in this case, is that anyone with a true vision can come and open a project, tokenize it and make their dream a reality. If the project is good, it can bring employment to many people remotely which means more people can get jobs.
514  Economy / Economics / Re: thinking of selling or investing more. on: February 13, 2019, 03:28:46 PM
Everything you do you must do your own research before making an informed decision and choice. I wish to grow my Bitcoin and Crypto assets if I can before the Bitcoin halving in 2020, because I think by then there will be a surge in value in general around cryptos and more and more mainstream use of them will bring a new era in crypto investing. I hope that this year I can make enough money to say invest around 20k USD in cryptos, it's not a lot compared to what I had in 2018 but if I can grow a long term bag of 20k USD then in 3-5 years that might do a x 10 multiplier and be a good small pension plan. I don't know if I can achieve this plan but like I started in crypto with nothing and almost lost it all, am trying to start again with a small capital and do my best. Now is the time I feel I must accumulate.
515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: hesitant about investing in Bitcoin. on: February 13, 2019, 03:25:36 PM
You need to be 100% confident before investing in any asset, whether fixe dor liquid, crypto, or metals, real estate or currencies. Anything you do, you need to back up your investment with a belief that you made the right choice. This is no different than investing in Bitcoin. as you would invest in anything else. If you are investing for the longer term, there is more of a chance that your investment will pay dividends if you are investing in Bitcoin for a short term or medium term punt, then there is higher risk in this. You need to set a goal, timeline and also do much research on Bitcoin before you put your hard earned money into it, then stick by your investment through thick and thin and you should come out a winner.
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: :-> Bitcoin are helping to reduce global debt. :-> on: February 12, 2019, 07:10:02 AM
WOW, I never realized this but yes it's true as Bitcoin also is a finite asset and in limited supply as well. FIAT is never ending and inflationary in supply which only reduces purchasing power and technically has wiped out middle classes in many western countries, so now is the time to collect some Bitcoin and I would agree, that it can reduce debt as the fractional reserve banking system is the biggest ponzi on the planet and you all saw what happened to Greece in their bank RUN just a few years back. If everyone now went to the banks all at once and asked for THIER money, the banks don't have it. SO more you put aside in Bitcoin from your wages, it might save you from getting into debt later on when your FIAT money is worth less and less, but your daily expenses are getting higher and higher.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x-1000x coin? on: February 11, 2019, 03:14:57 PM
This is very hard to predict right now but one I hope to buy soon to hold a small bag of is DGTX, or digitex token because they will open a futures exchange that will rival Bitmex and will have 0 commission fees and over a million people have signed up for it. Now there is a referral contest going on so not sure how many of those peeps that signed up on the whitelist are fake but even if it boats 100k users at launch that is still really impressive in my book and it will soar in price and at least do a x 10 - x 30 over the first year from launch if it is successful. Another good token that I do own now and is almost as cheap as it was in ICO price and will go up is ARB TOKEN, it has gone up and down but it will go up again within the next few months I think and do a x 10 at least again.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When bullrun comes on: February 11, 2019, 03:11:33 PM
I am trying to get myself ready for the bull run but don't have many coins right now at all, I really need to get my head in gear and start collecting some of the top coins first because with Bitcoin I think they will be the first movers and shakers and then find some small-cap coins with humongous potential and hold a few bags of those in case some get that nice 20 to 40 x movement that we so much liked in 2017 and early 2018 before everything tanked lol. I am going to work very hard over the next six months to accumulate what I can in tokens and coins and just be ready for when the market really wants to pop and I just hope I can do it in time to make a significant change in my life and the lives of those around me.
519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN GLORIOUS DAYS MIGHT JUST BE HERE on: February 11, 2019, 03:08:12 PM
I still have much faith in Bitcoin because it's decentralized and people now want a more tailored and individual approach to their finances and also they feel freer having a stake in a currency that isn't controlled by any single entity. Although there will be subsequent blockchains and currencies much more developed technologically than Bitcoin, Bitcoin was the first of its kind and ideologically it is much loved by those who hail for freedom of thought and freedom-oriented people in general. I think that Bitcoin will still hold a place in many people's hearts well into the future and I hope one day my Son and his Kids if he ever has any, adopt this technology and embrace it as passionately as I have done.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors in 2019? on: February 10, 2019, 08:19:16 AM
There are many people who left because they capitulated during this prolonged bear cycle so they had no options but to exit the Cryptocurrency game. Also, many people who flocked into crypto in 2017 came in near ATH expecting the parabolic rise to be exponential and never ending, they wanted in for hard and fast gains, but they flopped on the dump. Also, many average people find crypto trading and speculating way too risky and ICOS have scammed so badly in 2018 that it has put many new investors off even coming near to this space, let alone touching it.

Some investors, like myself who really believe in the technology and what Crypto can do for the average person, will return or never give up in the first place, despite the losses as we really see the potential once another bull run comes and I do feel a bull market will emerge going into 2020 or maybe a little before if we are lucky.
