1501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs physical gold price potential on: April 18, 2023, 05:22:43 AM
The reason why people favor Gold is as follows :

1. Gold is fully regulated
2. Gold is a well-known store of value
3. Gold is physical (People cannot see bitcoins, so they think it is fake)
4. Gold are being used to make jewelry, so it has multiple uses.
5. Gold is simple... and the Bitcoin concept is complex.

So, these are just some of the reasons why Joe Public will rather invest in Gold... until they learn more about Bitcoin and how rare it actually is.  Cool
1502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we should play on minor gambling platform? on: April 17, 2023, 06:23:05 AM
I like to try "new" sites, if they offer something innovative and unique that the others are not doing. People quickly get sick of repeating the same thing over and over again.... or eating the same food every day.

I will first read some reviews and then google "Site name - scam" to see if it was reported as a scam and then I will make a small deposit to experience it for my self. Some of the bigger sites have lost touch with their gamblers and they are putting too much money into scaling and marketing and not improving the gambling experience.  Roll Eyes
1503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take Part in Gambling Lotteries ? on: April 17, 2023, 06:12:53 AM
You are looking for a unicorn .... something that does not exist and something that cannot exist. A lottery can only exist, if there are people buying tickets for it. Yes, Stake.com have a lottery... ehmmm, giveaway that give out tickets, but you have to wager $1000 for every one ticket that are issued. (So you are paying for those tickets, with the money that you are losing in the wagering)

I play the Lottery every week.... and I have been doing this for years.. and the only money that I have won.. was a few dollars for 3 correct numbers. The chance to win the lottery are almost zero, if you only buy small amounts of lottery tickets.  Roll Eyes
1504  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 #1 VIP Crypto Casino 💠 Come in and explore our new design ✨ on: April 17, 2023, 06:04:10 AM
Few months back the metaverse concept was really a hype and there were lot of projects offering this but @Bitcasino is providing you all the experience of Metaverse casino about which they have shared on their Twitter also which you can read it here : https://twitter.com/Bitcasinoio/status/1646852175170273281?t=D_yXTGOF1FvoqC3t89yyww&s=19

I really like how they implement the new concept and we should show them some support on social media platforms also so that wider audience have the reach and can get benefits from it experiencing something new.
Metaverse is nothing but a joke these days. Facebook tried doing something crazy, but it clearly didn't work out for them which is why they lost a lot of money. Other projects that followed this particular trend got screwed too.

Am not really a fan of the metaverse, NFTs etc, but I gotta hand it to the Bitcasino team for trying something different.

Being successful with a project is all about timing and also reading the market. Yes, the Metaverse concept is all the hype these days and people are interested in it, but are there a big enough market to support it.. yet?

There are companies that are jumping into the Metaverse very early to be first to market, but then you have to take the financial knocks that come with that. It is good to be first, because you will have a product that are well matured, by the time the market is big enough for it.

Bitcasino.io are pioneers.... they take the risk to increase the profit in the long-term.  Wink
1505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: April 17, 2023, 05:53:24 AM
I think the saying, "gamble responsibly" has become a chant that are being repeated over and over again, just so that people can continue doing it, without feeling guilty about the consequences.  Roll Eyes

There should be some sort of preventative action being taken to screen gamblers that might be more prone to get addictive to gambling. Also, gambling addiction does not happen over night... it is usually a long-term bad habit.... so casinos should implement restrictions to limit gambling times for people who are gambling for too long periods and also people who make reckless bets.
1506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is racist on: April 17, 2023, 05:45:00 AM
They are not saying that to highlight racism, they are saying that to hide their greed. You have to remember one thing, the SEC represents a small group of super rich people, who gets paid for financial advice. Where do people go for financial advice? .... they go to financial brokers that are selling financial instruments that are owned and managed buy large investment firms.

The old Fiat system will do anything in their power to protect their knowledge and power that they sell to uninformed citizens and the rich old farts like Warren Buffet will continue to criticize Crypto currencies to discredit it.  Roll Eyes
1507  Economy / Gambling / Re: List of crypto casinos with high wagering requirements on: April 16, 2023, 09:58:03 AM
I think people should not support any of the casinos that use tactics like this to lure people to their casinos. It is unethical in my opinion to create a false scenario where it looks like you are getting something for free, but you implement measures to get it all back.  Roll Eyes

These silly promotions are a total waste of time and people should just opt out on joining these casinos. I have never won anything from the deposit bonus that these casinos offered me.  Sad
1508  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Being Russia and Russian now on: April 16, 2023, 09:51:33 AM
Well, I cannot say I am glad for you... because the rest of the world (non-aggressors) are suffering because of Russia. The cost of fertilizer has gone up considerably, because the Ukraine has been one of the largest suppliers of fertilizer and that is pushing up food cost and inflation.

The Fiat currencies has taken a blow and many prices on the financial markets have received a lot of crashes, since the war started. They say, "When elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers the most" ...and the rest of the world are the grass. (the people that are not part of this war)
1509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cashout money on: April 16, 2023, 09:43:46 AM
The casinos put "restrictions" in place to froze accounts for a reason. They will not allow any withdrawals, if they froze the account, but they might consider lifting the restriction, if you can provide enough proof that that account was not guilty of the transgression that triggered the frozen account.

I screened through your posts, but I did not see if you provided a reason for the freezing of the account. Sorry if I missed it... In any way, good luck.. I hope you get your money back, if you owned it legitimately.  Wink

I never learn.....

I have always said, NEVER play after Stake has paid out a monthly or a weekly, because the RTP are f#%%ed after they paid out bonuses. They do not wait to put Stake in feeding mode, it is done immediately after the payouts has been done.

So, today.. I claimed it and jumped into a Slot hunt and I paid back my full monthly back to Stake.  Angry  In any way...... I did 759 bets on one Slot and it did not give the Free Spins once...  Roll Eyes

Sorry for your loss, mate, but I think it was a coincidence. From what I know they are not watching you on the reputable gambling sites like Stake. You can win big one time, and then win big again right away. No one is turning on a "suction mode" after you win a big amount or get bonuses or something. And I'm talking about in-house games. Site has no control over games by third-party providers.

No.. for sure, the "feeding" mode is possibly on the in-house Stake original games, but you can test it for yourself. Do some DICE wagering before and after a Weekly has been paid.. and see how much more money it is costing you to wager than normal.

I do think Stake has some options to chose from with some 3rd party Slot games ..like Hacksaw Games... but it will be too much hassles to do that very regularly. (they give multiple RTP options for casinos to chose from)  Wink
1511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Gambling 13 years later.......... on: April 16, 2023, 07:39:40 AM
Yea, I remember a time when the only places you could gamble with Bitcoin was something like SatoshiDice AND Freebitco.in (dice only) and Bustabit and PrimeDice. There were some smaller sites, but most of them turned scam ... so it turned a lot of people against Bitcoin.

I think gambling was one of the pioneer driving forces behind Bitcoin and pseudo anonymity was 100% required by the gambling community, because Bitcoin use was illegal back then.  Roll Eyes
1512  Economy / Economics / Re: How do feels losing money? on: April 14, 2023, 07:15:27 PM
I think there has to be something wrong with you, if you do not feel anything ...when you lose money on a business deal. I have participated in many Ponzi schemes before, but I went into it with open eyes... knowing that I could lose all of my money. (Ponzi schemes are legal here... well sort of..)

It is never nice to lose money, but you have to take some risk to get some huge rewards. Bitcoin is a high risk investment, so you have to go into it with an open mind and never invest more than what you can afford.  Wink
1513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can this be effective against the increasing numbers of gamblers? on: April 14, 2023, 07:09:51 PM
There are no proof that the reduction in marketing will reduce gambling, because they promote it on lots of other platforms. The reduction in gamblers should not be needed, if responsible gambling were promoted.

I see a lot of gambling sites are now advertising with a warning that gambling might be addictive and that they are supporting responsible gambling. I think they realize that gambling addiction are tainting their reputation and they want to prevent that.  Wink
1514  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: April 14, 2023, 11:22:25 AM
Just claimed monthly, curious why it gets lower and lower each month with same wager?
Last week weekly was low as well, looks like Stake keeps decreasing bonuses after creating decent user base on platform.
You can take a look from the response @rdbase.

There has some confirmation during the stream, they decrease the bonus amount not only from weekly and all the bonus are effete (monthly, base amount and etc). And tables games from stake with the lowest house edge are no longger counted.

Feel free to read his response here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2072589.msg62071929#msg62071929

I think #rdbase has it wrong..... Eddie said, they are considering to remove the wagering from original games, because people are just using it to wager and it has almost zero influence on their profits.

The thing is.... you will not be able to wager $10 000 per week without doing it with the original games, so those people that does that, will have almost no weekly or monthly. (Stake want to force people to use all the bonuses they give to players on Slots and Sport betting, where they get the most profit)  Roll Eyes
1515  Economy / Reputation / Re: I proudly 7 years as a Bitcoin investor. on: April 14, 2023, 10:58:50 AM
Yea, I can still remember those days, when the Bitcoin price were between $200 and $500 towards the end of 2015. I bought some coins when it was at that price, but I sold most of it, when the price went to $1000+ in 2017.  Sad Sad Sad

You should not regret anything that you did back then, because those are the things that motivated you to do better in the future. I learnt from those mistakes and I bought more coins when the price reached $5000 in 2020..... and then sold it at a massive profit, when the price reached $60 000 in November of 2021.  Grin Grin Grin
1516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto as "payment" method adaptable for non tech-savvy people? on: April 14, 2023, 10:48:08 AM
Anyone that can use online banking, will not have any problem using a custodial crypto wallet service, because it is that easy. You register for a online wallet service and you link your bank account to that service.. so that you can deposit fiat currency to buy crypto currencies.

I have local online wallet services, but I use a hardware wallet and Electrum for every day use. Yes, there is an initial learning curb, but nothing more difficult than setting up a facebook or Twitter account.  Roll Eyes
1517  Economy / Economics / Re: Could there be a new financial system not dependent on USD? on: April 13, 2023, 03:37:23 PM
Do you really want to rely on a "currency" that are part of the BRICS group, when it includes countries that cannot even keep the lights on? South Africa are without electricity for most of the day... and people have to run generators and rely on solar power to keep their businesses from collapsing.  Roll Eyes

The only strong nation in that group are China, but they are very dependent on 1st world countries to buy their poorly manufactured "plastic" toys to keep their economy running.... and they are importing almost all their resources from BRICS countries to manufacture it.  Tongue
1518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tilt in gambling on: April 13, 2023, 08:01:07 AM
I always go into a silent "rage" mode, when I tilt.... which is not good, because I tend to deposit again and then I go into real "degen" mode, which puts me into a downward spiral mode with my balance.

A better way to deal with a losing streak should actually be to do a "rage quit" and to step away for gambling for a while, but I am not that kind of person. I tend to chase the loss... and that is my downfall..... but that is gamble.  Tongue
1519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 13, 2023, 07:50:02 AM
You really have to show me which slots you are playing that gives free spins every 50 spins, because those Slots are a myth. I usually spin between 250 and 500 spins to get a free spin on most Slots and I feel lucky if it hits between those numbers...  Roll Eyes

The Gamomat Slots actually gives more Free spins more regularly, but they payout very small multipliers. You have to hit it a lot of times before it pays out a much bigger multiplier.  Roll Eyes
