1501  Economy / Gambling / Re: #4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) on: October 16, 2020, 05:03:47 PM
Well it seems that places 8 and 9 are not alone in the indecision of finally awarding names for the final table.

In the pic; iv4n temporarily cedes the lead to Obaming.
The big move is made by NoobHere which causes two important moves, it moves from third place to 5 str8flu5h and the previous owner of that position is moved one place, pitkins (6)

Tik TokLyfe maintains the place and stands in the FT. Another player who did not bother anyone with his work in terms of positions was Betwrong, he maintains his position 7 and moves him away from the hot positions 8 and 9.
~

First off, I want to thank you for taking the time to make this wonderful presentation! Only I think  it requires a small correction: Betwrong takes the 6th position with 29 points, and Pitkins takes 7th with 27.

I've run through various possible scenarios, and came to conclusion that finally I can play without worrying about points. In the worst case scenario during the Q8, I can go down to 9th place, but not further down than that. I hope I'm not wrong. Smiley

Has Noobhere and TikTokLyfe always run so tight  Huh They are both in joint position number 3 and I wonder which one of them will come on top this Sunday?

Either way, it will be a close one for these two as well as for str8flu5h who's running close up to these two.
Can't wait to see how many laughs and crazy talks there will be on this Sunday, the Grand finale  Shocked
Some serious poker session about to take place.
1502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do with a 1000$ and what would you do? on: October 16, 2020, 10:50:34 AM
If I has $1000 spare the best way I see to spending this amount of money would be to invest it all over 2 ICO projects.
This is because by halving, I'd at least got some spread risk and if one project doesn't do so well I got the second one.

Why ICO's well, it seems that a lot of DEFi projects are emerging. most of which allow you to whitelist into their ICOs and I think this is a great way to multiply your money a few folds.
This would already be more than what I'd typically get if I was to keep this money in the bank.

Or a different route or a less time-managing route would be to invest in traditional stocks & share market, but the turn around might not be as fast.
1503  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When You trade Do You use VPN? on: October 16, 2020, 07:53:39 AM
VPN won't help you much trust me, if the security agencies of your nation wanna find you; VPNs can't do much.

I sincerely think that running a dedicated tor node for the purpose will be better than spending money on VPNs.
I agree, if you're turning millions then if these government agencies want to find you then they will and VPN won't help. But I think for traders with small profit even with the use of VPN will probably go unnoticed, unless that particular country is set to get rid of crypto users (hard to believe but some leaders out there can be very opinionated).

To close off, VPN usage for trading or anything crypto related is well known, and for some light touch on the subject as to which ones are more suitable for certain exchanges this is a light material you can read, right here .
1504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is DeFi over? then old coins revolution ? on: October 15, 2020, 10:46:05 PM
Currently some Defi projects are performing well in the market which indicates that people are still interested in Defi projects so Imo Defi projects is not over yet. these days mostly crypto community is focusing on defi projects to make profit in short time but it's not mean the time of good old atlcoins is over I believe whenever defi hype will be over then some quality old altcoins may give impressive performance.
I agree. While most of the new projects ride off the back of DeFi this sector in particular is still going strong. For sure, project selection to get a strong hold is required but at least there's still potential left. Having already backed up DeFi, I do also believe some strong alts will keep on going these in my opinion beside BTC are ETH, LTC, XRP and maybe LINK. I'm not so sure about the last as its performance lately hasn't been all that great but I do know a few projects which rely heavily on this coin so maybe this will turn around.
1505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency: US Election 2020 on: October 15, 2020, 09:35:18 PM
I think whoever the 2020 US election winner will not affect the Bitcoin market. And there really is no connection between
the US elections and the Bitcoin movement. As we all know Trump is anti-Bitcoin, but that doesn't mean if Biden wins the
Bitcoin price will go up. But US election is possible to affect the USD rate, even if the USD goes up or down, it still can't
affect the price of Bitcoin.

I think saying so blatantly as this that US presidential elections won't affect the price of BTC is a little understated.
Because of the mere fact that there will be this transfer of power or at least the potential of it the economy of the US will be more unstable and with so many investors relying on the USD and a large share of crypto being USD based volatility is inevitable.

Whether this is going to be upwards or downwards is still not certain but having seen how the BTC market and crypto has been lately for good reasons the former seems more likely, at least until early next year.
1506  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ Crypto.Games ⭐ 0.8% House Edge on Dice ⭐ Largest wagering contest...ever ⭐ on: October 15, 2020, 07:17:04 PM
Glad to see that among the altcoins like Dash and XML Jackpot pools are still available for BTC, which is currently up to over 3 BTC.

I wonder how much higher is this pool going to get before a lucky Dice or Roulette winner dries it all up.

What do you lot reckon, will it reach 10 BTC?

1507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FILECOIN, biggest ico ever! on: October 15, 2020, 04:42:34 PM
https://www.coindesk.com/200-million-60-minutes-filecoin-ico-rockets-record-amid-tech-issues/

Update on filecoin. The biggest ICO ever!

I started to listen about it by Cedric Dahl oh his youtube channel. It could be one of the future leader in the crypto mcap ranking.

here is a good point of view about the ico and the potential and risk of this coin.

Now we have just to wait it on exchanges to see if it will drop a bit under the ico price as other big ICO have done  Grin Grin
I agree, #filecoin has supposedly got a lot in store for us and I've seen many people raving about it. Looking at the graph the price since launching on exchange has started to dip but who knows if this is likely to go below the ICO price at $30.

And then if it does, people might still be hesitant to buy in, I know this as I have seen it times and times again.

Apparently, the next highly rated coin is the Injective Protocol which is based on BNB but getting is seems really hard.
1508  Economy / Economics / Re: "Humans will not be replaced by robots very soon" --- yeah right !!! on: October 15, 2020, 12:30:01 PM
I think it depends on how far down the line you're talking about. If you was to say within 5 years then my answer is that not many jobs will be terminated at the hand of robots.
This is because the advancement of robotics is yet far off from achieving manual work or work which depends on working out the environment and then act accordingly.

However, if you was to tell me that in 50 years most humans jobs will be made redundant and robots will be taking over, at least in the mundane sectors like hotels and restaurants, I will then be more reciprocal to your idea. Because in 50 years time the commuting power should give us the luxury of seeing massive improvements in robotics and I wouldn't be surprised if by then humans will move more into creative jobs or monitoring robots etc.

So, in this sense humanity is heading towards a doomsday where entire workforces will need restructuring, and those that can't keep up will unfortunately be left behind.
1509  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♣️ Rounder Casino ♣Poker Room 🏇$1,000 Weekly Race 💵75% Rakeback & more Bonuses on: October 15, 2020, 10:23:58 AM
I don't know about you guys but so far I have mixed feelings about this Poker room casino. Looking at the website and its content it is quite simplistic, in my opinion not that transparent and on top of it some of the words are somewhat misleading.

Like the weekly race promo where it say you get daily prizes (which in actual fact if you qualify is a one off) and not daily afterwards. It is good to read the details on these things.

1510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ♠️♥️ Peergame ♦️♣️ New Game Dice Now Rolling! | No Deposit | Instant Payout on: October 14, 2020, 05:51:55 PM
Here goes, quite a mixed review/comments   Shocked ...

While I understand where the makers of this game are coming from by providing instant access to games and apparently instant payout, the fact that only BSV is accepted may be limited. In any case, the initial feature is super useful because plenty of people want to skip registration and follow on with the games so from that perspective I don't see any fault.

As for the actual game variety, 5 isn't too bad but I assume to keep up with competitors not only you'll be thinking of introducing more 'standard' games like Poker etc but also considering expanding acceptance of more crypto.

Additionally, I found out that the casino also has challenges/promos which we already know how effective they are.

A sneak peek at the current one is below:

1511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin legit or not on: October 14, 2020, 10:45:23 AM
Its time to hear if bitcoin is legit or not!!
Someone with good and legit reputation need say here if bitcoin is secure safe and legit!!

We Trust USA dollar because its Federal reserve are legit guys!!

So is bitcoin good or not?

Someone like donald Trump should if its legit
BTC is legit. As for it being secure, well that depends on how well prepared you are and where you do your transactions.

Trusting the US dollar at times like these is probably more risky than entrusting BTC and the reason for this is because the economic crises has lead to the US government like many others to print more money, plug these into the economy in the hope to temporarily make things better.

The fact that this was done by just printing more money is where the issue lies as all that newly printed money is no longer backed up by gold, as it would usually be so the value of the dollar is very low. In a way with no collateral to back up the newly printed money all these currencies are in effect no different from BTC
1512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dash undervalued? on: October 13, 2020, 10:22:48 PM
Dash is one of those old privacy coins with unique features not found elsewhere. For instance, the project has adopted a mechanism dubbed "ChainLocks" to protect the Blockchain against 51% attacks. It also has instant transactions (InstantSend) and privacy features (CoinJoin) baked into its protocol. Yet, Dash has been under the radar of many investors and traders alike sitting around $70 per coin. With a proven track record of development and innovation, Dash should've been in the top 5 cryptocurrencies in market cap by now.

Do you think Dash is undervalued? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

In comparison to other alts Dash isn't bad for some of the reasons mentioned above. The coins in top 5 are ranking high because people use these coins more than others thus giving it more value. Not many coins are accepted by many stores, and despite Dash trying to be as innovative as it has been unfortunately for some reason it hasn't won investors over  Sad and without investors the coin just can't move. much up the ranks. The best it can do is maintain its value.

With regards to Dash being undervalued, I think in the larger picture probably it isn't. There are too many coins out there and for one to stand out by being in top 5 it must be largely backed by investors and lots of people and even larger organisations. For instance, even in the gambling industry dash isn't particularly the coin of choice.
1513  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My speculation regarding Bitcoin will hit... on: October 13, 2020, 08:58:15 PM
My speculation regarding Bitcoin will hit...

My speculation regarding Bitcoin that it will hit $1800 in near future, I don't know when but it can touch to this line in the bottom, what do you think?

Your speculation isn't worth anything in this day and age, specially when you left it so open ended as it is. The chances are that BTC and other market will prosper but without a time line it is almost difficult to postpone exactly when one should be entering to reap the highest rewards.

Also, without having an insight about the direction the market is going to hit next or early next year, to most investors is no different to not saying anything at all. Evidence together with timelines, dates and prices is all that an investor is looking for without this crucial info the whole bit falls apart with no weighted significance.
1514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government can seize company reserve Bitcoin? on: October 13, 2020, 05:51:08 PM
I do not think that the governments will give themselves the right to seize company's reserves of BTC. This in itself will be a massive violation of the law and put a lot of investors at risk, and I don't think governments will want to thread on that at all.

While they could bring forward accusations that companies only did it to escape corporation tax etc but the evidence that they'll seize their BTC funded reserves is immutable.

What I think the governments are thinking about is how to respond to this, and it seems that one way the British government at least is working out is how to join this crypto momentum, in particular creating a central reserve of crypto (source here).
Now that's an interesting feed to keep a close eye on.
1515  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin over $10,000 for the past 66 days on: October 13, 2020, 02:46:18 PM
Bitcoin has been above $10,000 since July 27 and attracts more young investors and crypto enthusiast. Will BTC ever drop under $10,000 ever again?

Read the article if you also find it interesting: https://www.worldcoinindex.com/news/bitcoin-makes-new-record-completes-63-days-consistently-over-10k-the-longest-period-ever

I think it is never a time where we can all agree that BTC won't drop under a certain value. The volatility of the market can not take into account how other external economic factors might influence the market value of crypto, and thus can never be expected that dumping or jumping in whatever proportion will no happen. I think if people assume that BTC can not go below 10k and start investing only to find out that it can, it would be a petty and not to mention a huge risk.
1516  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: October 13, 2020, 02:18:19 PM
what could be the best bankroll coin to invest with? i'm currently afraid on investing to litecoin bankroll since the last time a user almost swept the litecoin bankroll but their ltc investment of 35% on commission is a great promotion and seen that they have extended it to december.

Hard to say, LTC typically has the most action on it and therefore has the highest chance for gains (and losses as you point out). I personally recommend diversifying, so spreading out among all the coins. That mitigates some of the risk because then you can't lose all your investment.

Example: you have $300 to invest, so you put 100 into BTC, 100 into LTC, and 100 into doge. If someone comes and wipes the LTC bankroll you still have the $200 from BTC/doge. Whereas if you put all of it in on one you have no other investments to help balance out any hits.

Perfectly said for LTC because it has hit the hardest if you remember couple of months back when a whale almost cleared the bankroll and had invested in LTC so the ROI fell by 90% and after that it had recovered a bit but still 84% in a loss. That is the way the investing in bankroll could turn out some time you gain profits and at times you need to bear those losses if the whale is lucky enough to win such big amount.
Expecting some recovery to happen by Dec 30 as commission on LTC is at 35% instead of previous 50% will help users to recover from it.

I agree with you that LTC will start picking up momentum later on towards the end of the year not only because of the numbers suggested above. But in addition to that the LTC team is also testing their payment system which is said to be helping with the recovery. In any case, the fact that BTC is slowly growing would probably mean that LTC might also show improvements, though this isn't 100% guaranteed.

1517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mind Blown Gambling Facts on: October 12, 2020, 10:28:04 PM
This is indeed an interesting list and one enjoyable to read. There are a couple of facts that I wasn't aware of and I suppose most of them prove the point that gambling has been established quite early on in our society.

And only recently has become more or less popular, the answer to that I think depends on who you ask. In any case, a nice addition to the general knowledge about gambling. Your efforts are much appreciated  Smiley thanks for sharing this with us on here
1518  Economy / Gambling / Re: #4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) on: October 12, 2020, 08:48:37 PM
A new week, a new start and a chance for more players to gain more Krill. Just check out last week's leader board.

People were getting crazy prizes, and last week the highest stands at 10,000 chips. Not bad.

Do you think with the slight market recovery that this week's winners will get more lucky?

1519  Economy / Gambling / Re:  Gransino.com | New Online Casino | BTC ETH XRP LTC on: October 12, 2020, 07:20:47 PM
Welcome Gransino.
Following Cryptos are accept Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC) and Ripple (XRP).
I think you need to update your FAQ following those accepted cryptos on the "What currencies can I use on your website?"

I was going to say the ANN says nothing about accepting crypto payment, in the actual fact all I read was referring to Euro. This then just makes me ponder over the authenticity of this casino.

As stated this is relatively new, and after some Googling you'll find the registered country (Curacao), and I don't know about you but I'd rather keep away from places where in today's markets when there's so much competition they don't value their transparency - the number 1 factor that impacts their credibility.
1520  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 12, 2020, 05:19:44 PM
Speaking of popularity, I could easily redeem the free $0.15 faucet code once upon a time. But nowadays, it will be gone in seconds!
Yeah, their promotion is awesome. I got a nice amount of money by guessing the slot and the wager.

I think they can be the role model of a good promotion looks like, promotion with sure profit unlike wager contest and stuff.

Should be role model, I hardly thought any other platform like what ROOBET does. Roobet has changed the game the way of promotion, on their Twitter and Telegram account, roobet make every day crypto giveaways, share faucet code around $0.20 to $0.15. Such gigantic popularity and huge fan-followers make it impossible task to utilize those codes.

Give aways, faucet codes and the like on a daily basis is what all casinos alike should be about. This is what strengthens the community, brings in large traffic and gets your comments in the social media news feeds.

I suppose whoever is running their marketing knows exactly what game to play. I think only in this manner, casinos are able to maintain their numbers despite this economic crisis felt worldwide. You need to make people come to your platform that's the main goal, and clearly these people know how to it.
