1501  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to choose good coin!? on: October 18, 2017, 03:18:42 PM
Everyone says trading is easy, you have to pickup a good coin and then invest your money there..Will you guys, please tell me how I know it is a good coin or bad? What certain things I should check about that coin? What types of information helps me to know the coin is good?
This is true, when you try to read up on everyones comment they would commonly say that select the good coin but knowing this stuff would really be the challenge at all because on knowing or counting the number of altcoin in the market we would really be confused on which one would be the right one but heres the actual thing and this is the way i do always.Check the whitepaper, roadmap and the skills and experience of the dev team. This is usually the thing i do seek first before investing.
1502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who can destroy Bitcoin ? on: October 18, 2017, 09:57:31 AM
If the United States, Russia and China combined to declare this currency illegal.
I think it could destroy bitcoin. But this is almost impossible, so now the development of bitcoin, each country has its own plan, every head of government is not a fool.
Even those countries you do mention are the most powerful nation they cant completely stop bitcoin knowing that there still lots of countries left which can actually make use of bitcoin still which means stopping it completely would be impossible unless if all people would decide to dump their bitcoin and switch to another stuff then this is the thing which would destroy bitcoin for sure.
1503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New ICO's coming up on: October 18, 2017, 08:53:36 AM
Hi there Ricardo,

If you want to be a wealthy man then XRP is better then any ICO,
There is too many shitcoins, which works like a penny stacks,
With XRP you can predict its growth and be a wealthy man like me
No i wont recommend such centralized stuff and would rather go for ETH instead than on XRP. You are right ICO launching as of these days are somehow saturated which i can consider that most of them do end up on being a shitcoin later on.This is why investing on these things are somehow crucial for me but there are still few numbers which do really have potential.Just search up on their whitepaper and you would eventually find out which is better.
1504  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: October 16, 2017, 08:16:29 PM
I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?

Both, is profitable and depends on your capital amount to trade ,Somehow, day trading is more hard to do if you have no good skills on it it it a very risky game ,you are like trading of war which in any moment it can dump hard or pump hard . Long term holding is a sure profit if you invested in a Altcoin that have a big potential in the next months or years.

On long term it proves that holding or hodling the coins are always the best option and specially if you are not an experienced trader I would highly recommend to hold for a couple of years and get some happines if you look at your investments, day trading however is also very profitable and can be very nice, but you have to do some research and always remember to invest in real projects and not shitcoins.
Hodling would be only good and applicable only on some coins in the market like bitcoin, eth, xmr since these coins do really have the potential to rise up in future which this kind of trading behavior or ways isnt really effective on all coins which means it would really be dangerous if you are always longing for long term. Short trading is risky but more rewarding but would really depend on your skills and experience.
1505  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: October 16, 2017, 07:29:09 PM
Sweden is contemplating to stop using cash by 2023, does this mean cash might be extinct if other countries follow suit?

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/10/sweden-could-stop-using-cash-by-2023?utm_content=buffer40bef&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

They will definitely extinct cash but this is strange news to me though because a friend reside there and I knew through him how they like using app in transfering money so I see this thread I'm like no wonder. However, this is going to help bitcoin a lot.
It cant actually help bitcoin since they would create their own token which means they would make use on centralized stuff rather than on using decentralized one. This will really make borders on full adoption of bitcoin. If government would decide to switch on this kind of financial state then for sure it would really takes time to make such adjustments.
1506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is dead. The plan is a shift to Bitcoin Cash. on: October 16, 2017, 06:33:15 PM
BCC is a nice pump & dump coin. Nice profits can be made. But other than that it is really shit  Grin

This is how i do treat BCH and on that Upcoming Bitcoin Gold. Its not actually good as Bitcoin itself but rather just an another altcoin in the market which is somehow good to make profits on its pump and dump scheme in the market. I dont know why other people do believe on these forked coins which i dont actually see any potentials on it.
1507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WTF is Bitcoin? on: October 16, 2017, 05:02:57 PM
Will the bitcoin replace the Gold? If there is A war coming everyone will run to the Bitcoin instead of the gold?

Cheers

You topic title doesnt corresponds on the thing you are talking into your post. What is bitcoin? Then use google and you would see About 85,800,000 results (0.61 seconds) regarding bitcoin. This is only the answer if we do speak on topic title and now going on your post on bitcoin against gold.Theres no war but yet people would really  make some comparison among two things when it comes on investment opportunities.
1508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you going to keep your BTC on exchange during the upcoming forks? on: October 16, 2017, 04:08:01 PM
The previous fork, I only received a portion of what I'm supposed to get, and that's because I kept my coins on an exchange that doesn't fully support the split during that time. A month later, they decided to give their users their share of the split during that day's conversion rate. It was unfair, but at least they have given something to their customers. I'm not making the same mistake again and I'll keep my own coins in my own wallet to take advantage of the upcoming split.
We do have the same experience which i do only get the partition which is based on the current rate which isnt being based on those fork event rates and yet they do give 3 months later which i do say its already long. That was really a lesson learned for us which i didnt tend to make the same mistake again specially on this upcoming fork.I would rather store up my coins on Electrum which i can somehow guarantee to recieve exact numbers of BTG.
1509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: October 16, 2017, 03:02:31 PM
Are we talking about 10-20 years or 3-5 years? cryptocurrencies will exist for sure.. and we will see a couple of the existing currencies in the future and some completely new, much better and much perfect and improved ones
We can really assume such thing because we do know that technology do really evolve as the year passed which means possibilities on seeing new and improved altcoins or even on bitcoin would really be seen but thinking off we cant be sure if those long years if altcoins would still exist or not or even crpyto is still there or complete dead and seeing another trend.
1510  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: October 15, 2017, 09:29:30 PM
Panic selling took place in the negative sentiments only. People who is having knowledge about the market they won't do panic selling Like Bitcoin no one do as what you expected.
Panic selling is the biggest mistake which is mostly made by the newbies who are weak in controlling their emotions. Panic selling is the result of decrease in the price of any coin which the owners own. They get panic at the time when they see the prices going down and instead of holding and remaining patient, they go for panic selling resulting is loss.
These kind of situations cant really be avoided since there are newbies on trading field and remembering when we are still just a newbie we do for sure experience the same thing.I admit im once a weak holder of coin either on bitcoin or on alts which i do easily panic when i see that my investment are already decreasing which i do panic sell so that i would able to cut loss but in the end i do regret when i saw the price did recover up.
1511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: October 15, 2017, 09:08:05 PM
When i was started with bitcoin in 2015, i did not know about what is bitcoin and how to earn bitcoin.
I thought gambling was the only way to earn some btc. I played lottery games alot but nothing was earned.
I wasted about 3 months in gambling 🎰 nothing had earned.
Than i got to know about trading, i did trading that was profitable somehow.
After long journey i got to know signature campaign than i started earn some bucks.

When i started btc, around me no one knew about bitcoin, but now i tell everyone about bitcoins in my college and students showing interest in bitcoins.
It was good experienced when i started as bitcoiner.

Its really sad to hear that you started your journey in bitcoins with gambling and may be you don't had any person to guide you in a proper direction as when my friend told me about bitcoins he clearly told me to stay away from gambling as it will only eat away your money and you will start hating bitcoins so I would thank him for showing me positive way of earning bitcoins and that was from signature campaign.
Situations would really vary on each person on which some would really be guided by someone and some would really take on solo flight which would eventually fall out on basic lose of money because they did engage directly on risky things rather than on playing safe. Experiences on bitcoin in my side is really many to mention but one thing it was not easy since no one did guide me and do only see about bitcoin in the internet and make self learning.
1512  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How difficult is it to sell your position? on: October 15, 2017, 08:04:12 PM
the only way to exchange the money we have primarily on other types of bitcoin or crypto is to use the local bitcoin market exchange available in every country. That way bitcoin users will find it easier to exchange bitcoins into real currency they use. Any exchange on localbitcoin should have a limit on the amount of exchange rate, It aims to minimize pending transactions, and all transactions can be faster and more efficient.
Not all countries do have their own local wallet provider which would really be easily to cash out or to exchange those coins that they had thats why they would really need exchangers which would really  convert it to fiat and transfer it on their decide payment option.Back in the past i do have a hard time on doing such thing but when the time comes that local wallet provider is already available in my country it does really give big convenience on me.
1513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wish I never bought altcoins on: October 15, 2017, 07:15:10 PM
Would have been much better off just leaving everything in bitcoin. Altcoins suck.
Ohh you bought altcoins in wrong timing I bet you don't that bitcoin fork is coming so everyone want to hold bitcoin and altcoins are obviously dumping because of this. I wonder why you don't know about all this when I think you've been around this forum for quite sometime now.
He did able to say such thing because we do sure he lose up some serious cash on investing on altcoin and as you said he might not be informed on the upcoming fork on bitcoin which we do know that altcoins do possibly dip on these kind of events which would really be a bad timing for him to invest thats why he did able to say that altcoin sucks but not all the time because even on alts you would possible earn some serious cash if you did get in on the right time and sell it on profits.
1514  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: October 15, 2017, 06:29:07 PM
put the remaining money to some ICO, or spread them on several. I think completely withdraw from the trade is not worth it.
Be careful with ICO's there are plenty of scam out there make sure you made all the research before investing. I prefer investing in bitcoin alone and those existing altcoins that has been around and has a real use.
You are right there are really lots of scam ICO out theres which we should really be aware on investing on them and we should really make some research first.Back into the topic i would say OP do really have a hard time on improving his trading skills which turn out that hes still on negative inspite on having long years of trading already.Quiting might be a valid reason if things doesnt really work out.
1515  Economy / Economics / Re: Most people dont even know what this is yet. on: October 15, 2017, 05:21:22 PM
Around my locality I feel myself to be one in thousand to know about bitcoin. So the rest is unaware of bitcoin, and it takes lot time to make it reach all the people. For this a large scale adoption from countries as a whole is a must. To experience such large scale adoption all that required is time. So lets hold with patience and enjoy.
Even myself i do know that im included on thousands or even hundreds people in my country who do know about bitcoin considering that the population count here is high. This indicates adoption isnt really yet scattered
which means it would really need more adoption and awareness on my place but well we do know that it is on the move and does really takes time for people to be aware of it even more.
1516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost 80% of my bitcoins in alts, What can I do now?! on: October 14, 2017, 07:27:51 PM
Hey there

In june & July I bought Digibyte & Stratis & Siacoin with all my bitcoins, till now I lost almost 80%

What can I do, HOLD or Sell or What!
If you do sell out now then you will only get 20% on your total capital which isnt justifiable. If that thing would be on my case i would rather hold up those coins and forget them.Take the risk on here 80% negative would really make you panic but you cant do anything about it which you are already floating on negative side.Just let it go and focus into another coins or just solely on bitcoins.
1517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell all alts to buy more cheaper? on: October 14, 2017, 06:26:00 PM
With the upcoming bitcoin fork and the so called "dividend" that will be received thru bitcoin gold the price of BTC is on the rise. I am considering selling all my altcoins, even at a loss, so that i can buy more of them once bitcoin's price rises up higher.

What are your thoughts on this? Would this be a good strategy?
Regarding on this kind of trade habit i would say it would be a bad idea because potential profits would be only breakeven on the amount you did lose on selling those alts too early.I would rather hold up and if i do have the money i would even more buy cheaper altcoins because if the fork event would be over for sure people would really go back on alts.
1518  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin drop back down? on: October 14, 2017, 04:14:23 PM
Hey guys,

So thinking about it. It seems like the reason BItcoin is rising so fast is because everyone is putting there money in because of the upcoming "Bitcoin Gold" fork. (That is my opinion not a fact)

So do you think after the fork on the 25th it will start to decrease back to where it usually is let's say around 4K.

Anyone else been thinking this?
Price corrections would really be expected on these kind of situations or events on where we do observe bitcoins price rise up too fast and as expected it would dip soon again on the price that it should be and when the people or investors tried out to cash out their coins. Its just like that and its not actually a surprising thing though that is why we should be attentive on when to sell out to secure profits.
1519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoins taxable? on: October 14, 2017, 03:21:30 PM
Let's Bitcoin takes off. Say you lived in the US and had an online service that dealt in the equivalent of ~20,000 USD or more income for you (personally). What are the laws for income tax on a currency like this? Can you get in trouble with the IRS by simply having tons of BTC that the market values at (currently) almost 5$ per BTC?
I think it is not. Bitcoin is decentralized which means it is not under any government. So the income that its users and investors won,'t be taxed if I'm not mistaken. But if it is legal to a certain country and if it will be used as a currency there's a huge probability that there'll  be tax just like in the trgular currency or fiat.
If bitcoin is legalized on a certain country it isnt still be taxed but only to those services who do accept bitcoin as mode of payment. Bitcoin is a decentralized stuff and you cant impose taxes on it and if a certain person would decide not to pay up or declared on his earnings then you cant do anything about it. If you did able to use a certain service which would able to calculate on how much you do earn and that service do follow governments compliance for sure you would be taxed up.
1520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN GOLD IS A JOKE ??????????????????????????????? on: October 14, 2017, 02:31:44 PM
at the end of september we get the news that there will be hardfork for BTC, which is named BTC Gold.
and the effect, the price of BTC rose very high. because people buy BTC to get free BTC Gold.

but the oddity is, hardfork stay a few days away, but there has been no official statement of any market that will support it.
Unlike the BCH hardfork, which is where a month before Hardfork happened, there are already many markets that support BCH.

I wonder if BTC gold is just a joke? made to raise the btc price?
Its too early to say since we do still need to wait 11 days. Regarding on the hype or announcements i would say that BCH do somehow get the attention knowing that this is the first time that do happen on Bitcoin and now on its 2nd time i can say that interest is really lessen compared on the 1st one. They do already expect on what would happen either on those 2 upcoming forks.
