1521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crime funded by bitcoin on: February 21, 2018, 07:59:09 AM
Since Bitcoin was ever released, I've thought of the possibility of this. Will crimes be easily funded now due to bitcoin and it's anonymity? How do you think the authorities will combat this? Will this lead to a decline in the price of bitcoin? I've had this on my mind for a while now and I would like to hear your guys opinions.

There is a possibility of that happening since bitcoin transaction mostly hides identity of the sender and removes any connection to any crime doer. Bitcoin can be used in both good and bad purposes that may lead to a change in a persons perspective  towards it.
That's what the government is concerned about a few years ago? bitcoin with no authority and any control would easily fund a crime. let alone anonymous on bitcoin make sender and recipient become unknown identity? the government is trying to ban bitcoin because of it? but bitcoin can not be stop? do you think any a win win solution for this?
1522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy when market is Red on: February 21, 2018, 07:45:12 AM
buying when the red market is a good opportunity and will also be very beneficial for your profit. you can get a low price and sell in a high position in the future. so I think it's a good choice.
The possibility of a bigger profit is certainly there when you buy at a falling price. but you have to be clever in choosing the right time to buy. because sometimes the price keeps going down after we buy and maybe it will hurt you if you do cutlose.
but it seems for some days this price will be stable at the price of $ 11k. you can buy when the price $11000 (falling price now) and sell when the price is $11300-11400
1523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes a altcoin valuable on: February 21, 2018, 07:14:39 AM
I'm developing an altcoin that is based on social sharing. What foundational technologies are going to make it the most valuable? What makes an altcoin valuable? I'm wondering if it is just how much people hear about it? Thoughts?

One of the altcoins, Ethereum, is valueable because its network is used for many ICO's that take place.
The ERC20 token need to be operates on ethereum network. Therefore, ethereum is valuable for me.
Many ICO developers are using Ethereum technology to share their tokens. and that is an opportunity to gain profit from ETH in the future. because of course the price of Ethereum will increase because of that factor? actually each altcoin valuable because it has special characteristics and certain factors. such as Denarius with masternode becomes more value for this coin and Ethereum with their platform. and so forth
1524  Economy / Economics / Re: Where Will The Digital Economy Take Us? on: February 20, 2018, 06:41:15 AM
There are a lot of things that could happen in the next 50 years, and bitcoin could be considered as one of the currencies accepted worldwide by then. If the blockchain technology would still be here by then I am pretty sure they have upgraded it to something worth used by the many and not just used through online but will be used at small stores and restaurants.
When the digital economy is implemented in the community of course that era must have been very advanced I think. I don't know when it will happen but it is possible that bitcoin is part of that digital economy. see bitcoin users continue to grow may be in the future government legalize bitcoin, who know?
but of course the government with its super power will also be upgrading the financial system and payment in their respective countries.
1525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 50k$ in which coin would make you a millionaire in 1-2 years? on: February 20, 2018, 06:18:53 AM
If I were you BTC will still hold like 40% of my portfolio, the next halving is just two years away, and by then I expect the price to be in a range of $100K per BTC, Ethereum and NEO are two tokens one need to be holding now because of their network effect is getting bigger each day.
Agree of course I will make bitcoin as first choice. the biggest allocation funds is certainly on bitcoin because no doubt that the possibility of bitcoin prices continue to rise is still wide open. then the second largest marketcap is it Ethereum. Ethereum became the second choice for me because these coins grow and develop very quickly. let alone many ICO investors certainly will use the platform from Ethereum. I think for the long term, it would be safer to use that 2 coins.
1526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regret! on: February 19, 2018, 06:23:45 AM
I had regrets that I had sold some coins too soon.  And I decided that I would keep them for a long time.  But now, on the contrary, I regret that until  last fall on the crypto-currency market I did not sell part of the altcoins with a good profit))) And now many of the coins in my portfolio are in big minus.
if you had intended to hold your coin. you also had to be prepared with the possibility of declining prices because that is the consequence of holding a coin. I myself have a special strategy so as not to regret when prices fall or prices rise. when the price goes up I always sell a few percent of my coin. so when the price goes up I still have my other coin to sell again. if the price goes down luckily I've sold some of my coins. so I will not regret if something happen in the market
1527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin? on: February 19, 2018, 05:43:10 AM
Media has only little knowledge about bitcoin, the reason they are posting negativities about bitcoin is because of the people behind that controls the news. Bitcoin is a transparent currency system that violates the current global banking system, and with the fast-growing popularity of BTC, they are alarmed so they are using the media to shut it down.
I think the media has all the information but you know that the media will preach a thing according to who pays them. of course the government has been lobbying all the media to make a picture of bitcoin to be bad. you know minister in my country really makes bitcoin image so bad. then many media in my country also preach the same thing and it makes bitcoin market in my country also messed up a few days ago
1528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long vs. Short: Bitcoin and Alts on: February 19, 2018, 05:33:05 AM
Long term=I don't venture out top 100 normally (unless a super promising project with rep) Ex ETH or BTC right now.
Short term=Anything that has value and that upcoming roadmap something is happening. Ex ETC right now.
Agree I think for a long term investment you should choose a coin that has proven potential and reliable. eg Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin. This coin has a huge community and users and it will certainly continue to grow that's why for the long term it will be quite safe. for the short term you can look for new coins or old coins of course that have good short-term projects, I recommend buying DNR.
1529  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price "drop" on: February 18, 2018, 08:00:02 AM
it's okay. today has touched the number $ 11k again, and still continue to rise. is not it always like that every year. there is a phase where the price drops dramatically. making people panic about it at the end of selling all the bitcoins. and things get worse after bitcoin prices rise again in a few days Grin
Yeah, I think the price changes that happened yesterday is a natural thing. bitcoin users are still very easy to panic. only with fud then the price goes down very deep. it often happens in the bitcoin market. but not forever the price in below. there will be a time where the price will surely rise and pump. only those who will be patient will reap huge profits. at this time the price has been stepped on the price of $11k a good signal for skyrocket soon
1530  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation of bitcoin: dream or Inevitable on: February 18, 2018, 07:49:48 AM
Financial regulations are imposed by governments on businesses and financial institutions in order to manage a nation's financial system. Bitcoin is not governed by any central authority and is free from such influences.[1]

On the other hand, bitcoin needs exchange platform So the solution to regulate bitcoin is to regulate the exchanges. If that happens, then the big banks will open their doors, making life easier for exchanges and investors alike. The banks will win from this too, because they can stop customers drifting away to more daring competitors. [2]

which scenarios will occur? "More Regulation or More Decentralization"
I think it has happened? many local exchanges provide terms of identity verification to be able to exchange and transactions on their sites. and the government is behind them. because of a requirement by the government. even users are required to do close up photos for verification. and many bitcoin users do that? it seems that many users are not too concerned about the missing decentralization?
1531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest way to stop ICO scam is on: February 18, 2018, 07:36:08 AM
Sometimes it is really hard to determine whether the ICO is a scam or not. Everything can be faked in the internet. If you think the ICO is a scam, then might want to report to any admins or request a validation. You can consult to experts as well just to be safe since accusing is bad.
Perhaps that is the right action to reduce many ICO scams that keep coming. unfortunately, there is no third party or agency that takes care of the legit or not of an ICO? where the third party may impose a ban on the ICO if they do not meet certain conditions. maybe if any agency can do that. it will be very helpful
1532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Denarius [DNR] - NEW "Tribus" PoW Algo >> PoW/PoS Hybrid >> Masternodes on: February 18, 2018, 04:42:54 AM
DNR looks very promising project, I wish to have free money to invest...

Well today Denarius is only 3$. You do not need to invest a large amount now but start now. Better to start
with a small amount now then later when the price is high.

Prices fluctuate a lot! So anytime you gather like you said "free money" would be a good time to invest. Every few minutes prices go up and down and you can make profit!
A few days ago DNR had pump to 0.00033 BTC and now the price of DNR is weakening again. I think this is a definite cycle of a coin. and DNR will definitely return the pump within the next few days. it just takes patience dude. and if you want to get an easy profit "free money". buy DNR now and wait for the next few days until the price touches 0.00033 BTC again and you will get profit easily..
1533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost over 80k because i sold too early (newbie mistake) on: February 17, 2018, 02:16:59 AM
A while ago i went all in ZClassic and bought about 365 Coins when the price was about 2$ per coin, but i decided to sell a couple of days after.
Two weeks later zclassic mooned and i could make about 80k now.

i learned my lesson in the hard way..

as we know, the digital currency is very fluctuating movement, we hold the coins until we feel it has reached the highest price, hopefully it becomes a lesson

sorry for the bad its my language
sometimes I also make a mistake selling before reaching the highest peak. but it has already happened. the most important thing i get a lesson for what happened. that patience and mature calculation are the key. when prices rise it is not necessarily the highest price dude.
do not be too sad to make it as experience and lesson for you. I'm sure you'll be better at trading ahead.
1534  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Satoshi is dead,If not where is he now on: February 17, 2018, 02:06:10 AM
Is Satoshi is dead,If not where is he now and what is he doing right now..Bitcoin price is down sharply. Can he do something?
I think there is no point of knowing whether satoshi is dead or alive, or where he is right now and why he is hiding if he is still alive. I could say that although we do not know if where is satoshi right now, the most important is his legacy. We are all benefiting his extraordinary worked, without him there is no existence of cryptocurrency and most probably we can not experienced or experiencing of being free from the government.
I think if satoshi nakamoto expose their identity may be a bad influence on bitcoin market. that's why he kept it a secret. of course he can do anything with bitcoin market? he is among the richest people in the world because of bitcoin, he has millions of bitcoins in his wallet. of course he can manipulate the market but there are all the scenarios dude.
1535  Economy / Economics / Re: Better to mine or to buy ? on: February 17, 2018, 02:01:46 AM
Hi everybody,

I'm asking myself a question for 2 weeks. I'm mining a profitable coin (let's call it Acoin) and I want a Bcoin that has a lower profitabilty but I think it will grow a lot in this year.
Is it better to mine Bcoin ? or mine Acoin and buy Bcoin with the Acoin mining ?

Thanks for your opinion Smiley
Depending into your choice if you do like to see instant profits or  sooner profits. On my side if i were on your situation i would stick to that Acoin since its being profitable with me and investing with Bcoin wont assure you that you will make profits even more sooner or later which means.I will cherish profits on current or recent time with Acoin.
of course you know that to do mining will take a long time to be able to collect many coins from reward minning. if you are sure that Bcoin prices will rise/pump in a short time. of course I suggest to buy Bcoin with your capital. because many people are left behind their train because they do not dare to take risks and just use free way without any risk?
1536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are they afraid of bitcoin? on: February 17, 2018, 01:55:44 AM
They afraid bitcoin because of ignorance. 150 years ago, people afraided of railway and train, 100 years ago, people afraided of alternating current. There are people in all ages afraid of new things.
Lack of knowledge and insufficient information on the capability and opportunity of Bitcoin could give to us we definitely lead for not taking Bitcoin or not even notice Bitcoin. I think people much need to educate themselves for them to learn and to have the opportunity to earn and to gain profit.
I think it is a genuine human nature that they will self-defend against something new that they don't know. of course the root of the problem is because they have no knowledge whatsoever about the new thing so they are afraid if the new thing is implemented or present in their life. so is bitcoin? many people are less afraid of bitcoin because they only understand that bitcoin is the illegal currency used for crime.
1537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term Invests on: February 16, 2018, 10:23:31 AM
Any ideas what to buy now and keep for longer?

If you want long term holding then i would suggest to go for the coins which are in the top 20 and the price is below a dollar because my thinking is that these coins appreciate later in time just don't know when. If you buy less than a dollar and in 3 year it will priced at 5 dollars so there is profit.
I know what that means. if you want to make a long-term investment look for a reliable coin and you can find it in top marketcap. do not try to invest long-term on altcoin that has not been proven reliable. because you should know that altcoins have a short life span.
My first suggestion is to choose bitcoin for long-term investments. everyone knows its potential. then Ethereum and three ripple.
1538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple to the moon? on: February 16, 2018, 10:11:38 AM
Western Union has announced a partnership with Ripple! I think this news can return the price of ripple 3$.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-02-13/western-union-says-it-s-testing-transactions-with-ripple
More and more new banks join the ripple, just what is the benefit to ordinary people. A centralized coin that shows what awaits us if the whole market is under state control.
I think it will bring in a lot of users because of course there will be many people who are interested in seeing big agencies like Western union or banks start to glance at the ripple. I was amazed by the development of ripple a few weeks ago. because this coin became very popular even beat popularity of bitcoin because the price rose so high up to $3 in a short time. I think news like this will raise the price of ripple to the moon again
1539  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin recovering to $10,000 could bring a new buyers.. on: February 16, 2018, 10:01:50 AM
Bitcoin climbed back above $10,000 Thursday for the first time in two weeks and some analysts see the psychologically key level as a trigger for new buyers to come into the market.
Remain cautious as many users will probably sell at that price because I see a lot of people are buying bitcoins at a price of $6k a few days ago and will probably sell at that price. but this is a good signal for bitcoin market that this coin starts back on that track. I predict there will be a decline for the reasons above. then the price will rise again. keep calm and do the calculations before making a choice Smiley
1540  Economy / Economics / Re: buy high and sell low. or hold which one is it? on: February 16, 2018, 09:56:59 AM
As of this moment, holding is the best thing to do. But it depends on you strategy if you cannot hold, then you can try trading your coin with other altcoins that you think has the potential to grow double or even tripple. But never buy high then sell it in a low price..just be smart so you can have a great earning.
Of course that there is no way in buying high and selling low is a good choice. It will never become a good choice because if you are stuck at the moment then just hold and do not sell it for a low price because the market will bounce back again and the price will touch to the top again and maybe the market will have an another new all time high which will be so profitable to you.
of course it's a bad idea because it will hurt you. I know what it's like to buy at a high price then the price drops very quickly and you gets trapped for not selling it yet. don't think negative about bitcoin because it will make you choose to do cutlose. I always thought that bitcoin prices would definitely recover because bitcoin always developed forward. so my choice is to withhold any circumstances before the price reaches my target I will keep it
