1521  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electron cash 3.1.2 version error on: February 03, 2018, 07:13:28 PM
Hi everyone,
i need to send my bcc to an other address (only 1, my trezor) but i have this error: "The transaction was rejected by network rules.(64: dust).."

I've read here https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues/2642 to try to change server, but i've tried a lot of server without any change...

I've also have tried to change base units like i've read here but nothing --> https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues/2710

Can somebody help me?

P.S: i run it on my ubuntu's virtual machine

Can you send a screenshot of the transaction you're trying to send (once everything's typed in, click the preview button and show us that). It might be helpful for getting to the bottom of your issue.

well, maybe i've understood what was the problem!

i try to send all my bcc! so i can't have enough bcc to pay the fee! I've tried sending 99.8% of my bcc and it worked..

Thanks for your reply!

I'm sorry to up this thread again, but there is something i don't understand: if i've a trezor wallet with passphrase, and someone stole my seed, why he can't just simple import that seed on electrum and steal my btc?

It's because my trezor's passphare works as the electrum's passphrase?

1525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: info about btc futures on: February 03, 2018, 03:59:56 PM
Nobody can tell the future, just guess. Based on this hypothesis, people save money, dream about invest in for the future.

Can not we say that the future of BTC in not good or bad? Because the different countries of the world are now investing in BTC. Demand for crypto currency increases.

hello S.Alam, we are not talking about the future understood as the time is yet to come, but we are talking about this -->https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Futures_contract

thank you everyone, i have a problem with this line: pgp --import jonaldkey2.asc or pgp --import jonaldkey.asc

i have this error: invalid option: --

Can you help me?

Make sure you've downloaded the pubkey from here and saved it as "jonaldkey.asc"

You could try
Code:
gpg --import jonaldkey.asc

or have it imported from keyservers:

Code:
gpg --keyserver pool.sks-keyservers.net --recv-keys 0x9F9DCF0B14FE144D

and verify if it's imported:

Code:
gpg --fingerprint 0x9F9DCF0B14FE144D

This should output something similar:

Code:
pub   dsa2048 2017-07-31 [SC]
      C885 059A AD1E EB99 9C73  AFCF 9F9D CF0B 14FE 144D
uid           [ unknown] Jonald Fyookball (Electroncash.org) <jonf@electroncash.org>
sub   elg2048 2017-07-31 [E]

thanks man! now it works! my mistake was to use pgp command instead gpg command. Now everything seems fine!

Thanks again!

1529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: info about btc futures on: February 02, 2018, 08:50:33 PM
I'm wondering, if some choose to not buy btc at the price that was decided before, btc price will not be influenced in any way...correct?

Nothing happens to Bitcoin's price since the future markets just tie their products to the rate of a certain exchange. Everything that happens on CBOE for example, will not reflect on our traditional Bitcoin exchanges. It's vice versa -- everything that happens on the Bitcoin exchanges the future markets are tethering their rates from, will reflect on there. In other words, it's one way traffic.

well, but if the price of one exchanges start to fall, the price of the other exchanges will follow, isn't it?

1532  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: install electrum cash on ubuntu on: February 01, 2018, 09:26:58 PM
1. you download the latest version installation file. a tarball (.tar.gz)
https://electroncash.org/downloads/3.1.2/win-linux/ElectronCash-3.1.2.tar.gz

2. you download the signature of the file which should be "name of the file.tar.gz.sig"
it can be other extentions than sig since it is basically a text file. it usually is .sig .asc or even .txt
https://github.com/fyookball/keys-n-hashes/blob/master/sigs-and-sums/3.1.2/win-linux/ElectronCash-3.1.2.tar.gz.sig

3. you download developer's public key
i believe this is the key he uses: https://github.com/fyookball/keys-n-hashes/blob/master/pubkeys/jonaldkey.txt
use
Code:
pgp --import <keyname.asc>

thank you for your help.

just a few question: after downloaded the signature (that have the correct name)...what i have to do whit that file?

for the step number 3, after import that key how can i know that everything has gone fine?

thanks again!

Hello everybody. I'm glad that I'm participating in this company. I wanted to ask a question. Up to what date will the bounty company go? Thank you very much for the answer.

This question answer can be found by reading the original post.

Hello Sylon! Since I received negative trust during the campaign, my previous bets will be recorded?

No.

Hi, Sylon! I need to leave this campaign. Please save my stakes for previous weeks. I am waiting for your reply to remove signature.
Thanks in advance!

Confirmed.

Sylon i see that i have no stake/valid post for week 10, but i've made more than 20 valid posts between 8/02/2017 and the next friday.

Can you check please?

Thank you!

Follow the official process.

i'm sorry, i think that i've made a mistake!

if week from [20th January - 26th January]  was the 13° week than week from 6th - 12th is the 11° week so is correct that my stake start from then..

1536  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: info about btc futures on: January 30, 2018, 07:41:36 PM
i don't understand how does it works futures on BitMex. For example, i agrees to buy BTC at say $15k  in one months time. Someone have to pay me in btc in which way? for example if the price is higher than 15k i will receive less than 1btc?
This is how I understand it.
So as we know futures contract is a contract for buying an asset (BTC in our case) for predetermined price. The buyer is buying a contract for buying BTC at a price of 15k in one month (he already payed for it right now) and a seller is selling this contract (at this particular moment they are trading the agreement). Buyer can resell this contract or just drop it if the price will be much lower. In this case the seller will get a profit from selling the contract. But the seller can't refuse to sell the asset on the aggreed price. That may sound rough so I'll try to bring an example.
John and Andy are making a futures contract. John pays Andy 1k USD for the right to buy his BTC a month later for the price of 15k USD. So here are 2 possible endings:
1. In the end of the month Bitcoin worth 14k USD. This price is unaccaptable for John and he is giving up. He is disappointed because he lost 1k on buying this contract.
2. In the end of the month Bitcoin worth 20k USD. Andy have to sell BTC for 15k instead of the market price. John is happy because he made 4k on that deal.
This explanation is still pretty rough and it doesn't count many other circumstanses (or I'm simply mistaking something) and everything may vary depending on the asset, exchange etc. But this is how the general futures contracts should work.

First of all, i'm sorry to reply in so much late Sad

Anyways, amazing post! 1 merit for you.
I don't understand one thing, on point 1).
At the end of the month John can avoid to pay 15k to andy for buy his btc? How is it possible?

Intendi 10k eu o dollari?

1538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening? on: January 30, 2018, 05:14:24 PM
all of this remeber me what happened in 2014/2015, when price keep going down without any reason. But for who didn't sell, big money have comed.

I think it will happened again, maybe in 2019 or 2020...
1539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 7 safest investments. Why Bitcoin & crypto currencies ?? on: January 30, 2018, 04:56:16 PM

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjf3IHN9Bx4
