Electrum checks the latest state of your address, it does not need to download the full blockchain - so no, you do not need uninstall and install again later (of course remember about keeping Electrum updated to the latest release).
If you imported address into Electrum and then just send to address known from Ledger - it was a normal transaction, your private key was (is?) kept in Electrum.
The idea was to connect Ledger to Electrum (create a new Electrum walled based on your hardware wallet) so Electrum would know your public keys, but not private (each operation, transaction would require confirmation using Ledger device). And then you may use "Sweep" option to transfer from 3rd party address (your exported keys) into existing wallet (connected to Ledger). Anyway, even if you did not do that and just emptied your old Bitcoin Core address, all is fine.
If transaction is sent to mempool, there is nothing more you must wait for. You may close computer and go to sleep (and just wait for transaction to be processed). Right now mempool is almost empty so if you used fee like 5 sat or more, then your transaction is probably already confirmed.

If you have your private keys, why do you want to waste your time on Bitcoin Core and downloading the blockchain? Buying new disk etc... Ridiculous. Just import keys you have into Electrum (or other client), which is much more user-friendly. Your life will be easier... And yes, you may pair your Ledger with Electrum. Then use option Wallet->Private keys->Sweep, it will prepare transaction which empty given address (key exported) into address in wallet opened (paired with Ledger in your case). I can understand Hamilton and Mercedes fans would be seriously put out by the decision to let the lapped cars "catch up"
and also Verstappen and Red Bull fans to be delighted by the "correct" decision by the officials.
I can understand that the officials would want a race to the chequered flag rather than a
safety car procession or damp squib finish.
Definitely. As many people mentioned, during the whole season there were some strange decisions made by officials, most in favor of Mercedes. For sure they did not want to finish the race with safety car (by the way I do not understand why they cannot stop counting laps when race is interrupted). Spa 2021 was a big shame, race recorded just for cash. |

And many would say "indeed". But it's actually not so easy. The cars have different properties and one pilot can do better than another in the same car. Clearly the RBR car, especially since it has Honda engine, not Mercedes, has different posture and aerodynamics, hence the driving experience may differ. So while I agree that for most of the races (but not all!!) the Mercedes was more powerful and the faster car, I don't agree with Max' statement. But definitely we may say that car is really good. I do not know how much time Russell had to learn it (maybe he worked on Mercedes' simulator) but when he had a chance to use it, effect was spectacular. |

So, I really am curious about whether the final decision for the title winner will change or not.
I do not think so. Some late decisions could be acceptable, some penalty seconds or so, but I do not believe they will change Champion with a decision made by guys sitting around the table. |

That’s true that Max had a bad start (0.35 delay vs 0.25 Ham) and that’s true that was slower for majority of laps. BUT rules were the same for everyone, having soft tyres I believe he would be able to do it anyway, with others cars before him or not. And noone forbid Mercedes to change tyres (RBR did it extra twice…).
I may imagine that finishing the race with safety car was the worst option- many people would say that it was again another sign of “protecting” Hamilton. But he is not a child anymore, and as Mercedes seems to base on him and engineers, they should spend some time on thinking how to manage race better.
There was of course a lot of luck for RBR, but already their 2nd decision about pit stop showed they think how to win the race as a team - VER gained a lot on his new tyres. The difference was not as small as they expected on 7 laps to end - but then crash happened.

I have no idea what was Mercedes' plan - they had hope that safety car will stay until the end of race? Why did they leave the guy with an old tyres?
They looked like they were surprised that doubled cars were removed. On the other hand - perfect decision by RBR team gave MV new, fresh fast tyres and it was matter of seconds to do the final hit.
Perez - good work! His fight have MV few seconds. At the end it did not change a lot, but at that moment it was really important.

What do you mean by "all possible private keys"?
All possible addresses from a given private key (so for one key to generate addresses bc1... 3... 1..., compressed/uncompressed) or you want to iterate each possible private key, one by one and generate address for that - then technically it is easy and doable, the problem I see is that you will need eons to have work finished, you will need a lot of energy and enormous amount of disk space.
But if you want, I may do it for you...

Personally, against all the odds, as I do not want Hamilton to beat Schumacher's record of 7 titles, I bet on RBR.
Actually the win-win is to bet on Hamilton. Then you will be happy either for Max winning, either for you winning the bet  I know, but I prefer all-or-nothing Double victory will be sweeter. Max takes pole position, so I am more optimistic. On the other hand - Kimi: is it only team/car or age issue? The whole season is rather sad for him. |

You may also use https://findmycoins.ninja/ to see which coins are available for your address. And again - read carefully LoyceV's topic regarding fork coins (or if you are lazy ask him to claim them for you ) Isn't the issue here my btc was in electrum the entire time all those forks occured?
I am not really sure if I understand what you mean, but BTC is not in "electrum" or on pendrive etc. You had your keys/seed whatever in some application - and that's all. Information about BTC stored under given address were kept in distributed blockchain, when fork occurred you, as a "owner" of original BTC address you became also owner of fork coins. ow the point is that you need different software to be able to access fork coins base on your original seed/address/key. |
