1541  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any sites where i can deposit paypal & withdraw btc?? on: January 09, 2015, 07:51:21 PM
PP to BTC is extremely dodgy no matter how you set it up. I dont think there are many sites that offer something like it. If you are trusted here you can squeeze in a few deals maybe but the markups are insane.
1542  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinXerox Dice | 1% Edge | Free BTC | Bot scripting | Provably Fair on: January 09, 2015, 02:40:56 PM
Several hours down. Already gone  Huh

OP said that it was a hosting problem. IMHO, it is unlikely he coded the site and scammed in this early stage.

At the moment site is quite down.

Sorry guys, our server hosting provider has problem with their network. We already posted urgent solving of this issue. It should be up soon.

Thanks silvestar.

I would like to write a few words on this topic.

Please, look at games at CoinXerox. You will found out that there are games not offered anywhere else. Moreover these games are pretty hard to implement - we choosed the hard way to join the Bitcoin market. We spend hundreds of hours of analyzing, implementing and refactoring. We invested a lot of resources to achieve that and the only way how to pay our bills is to operate in a long term.

Please also note that it's common practice in Bitcoin gambling world to withdraw all, when player finish his playing. We are not a bank, we don't hold big balances. Almost all coins in CoinXerox wallet are ours.

In contrast, scam sites are the simpler ones. Their owners did not invest too much, thus it's sufficient for them to steal a few deposits, delete site and run away.

P.S Your games still have serious issues. I had a bug about 4-5 days ago on BJ and on poker. The game was ongoing but i could not take any action (hit etc) I left the site and came back before it went down, games are still bugged. Rather inconvenient i would say.

1544  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win88 Casino Winning Streak - Legit? on: January 05, 2015, 07:14:24 AM
Wouldnt even call it a streak to be honest. Ive had around 21 wins in a row i believe, so yes, just another day at a dice.

And what site was that?
It was on PD.
On Win 88 ive had streaks of over 15 for sure, same for bitdice and coinichiwa.

1546  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ New on FastSlots ★ GAMBLE LIKE A STOCK BROKER ★ House edge 0.2% per second ★ on: January 04, 2015, 09:07:37 PM
The games are really fun. The site itself is looking better and better by the day. Im welcoming every change Smiley
But yes the last game with charts, maybe the delay needs to be longer between the profit margin changes. More time for players to decide if they wish to sell or no.
1547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DriveShare - Earn money by sharing your extra hard drive space on: January 04, 2015, 06:58:52 PM

SO in conclusion.

To Stingle: I did not post any links and yes i should have mailed it but it is too late now. And no i do not believe the is an agenda against me. Im just allergic to blatant stupidity and ignorance.

On topic:

You suggested: When someone feels the need to post a link, they should do it using a shortener.

* This is you SUGGESTING that using a shortener is OK.

To which i replied: "You: PRO TIP: Short links are best way to spread malware"

* This is me making users aware of it and pointing out the obvious. Around 90% of shortlinks if not more are used for spreading malware and/or cloaking other shady activities.

This was followed by a ban or as you called it a warning.

*Meaning to avoid spam in chat you encourage users to use short links, making hiding the contents easier and thus the links way more dangerous.

*So it is OK for a mod to tell users on cases when they absolutely feel they need to link something, they should use a shortener. But when a user warns about the potential danger of a cloaked link (and yes its called - cloaked for a reason) its is somehow Wrong? Is there a logic behind all this or am i missing something.

I have nothing against no-link policy in the chat as i have never posted any links in LB i believe, or if i have it was requested and it lead to bitcointalk forums.
1549  Economy / Auctions / Re: .::☆★☆★ THECOINS.net ★☆★☆::. @2K FAUCET@ DICE | SPIN | MINES on: January 04, 2015, 01:37:18 PM
Im guessing being a new site they might not have enough in the hot wallet. You were trying to withdraw 0.1 right ?
They have had several bugs before so i wouldnt be surprised if this is another one. Showing it is done, but actually not having enough in the hot wallet.
1550  Economy / Gambling / Re: ➫ ➬ ➫ ➬ LUCKYB.IT ★ +21k BTC wagered ★ Huge Christmas Rakeback :) on: January 04, 2015, 09:31:48 AM
I just got banned from Luckyb.it chat for no reason. There was a discussion about links in chat. At this point "chance" told its better to use short links in chat. To this i replied that short links are used to spread malware more effectively than normal links. And i got banned.

So saying something that is the truth is bannable offence ? Or is stating your opinion also ban worthy ?
1551  Economy / Gambling / Re: •••• COINICHIWA • SUPER FAST ROLLS • 1% EDGE • JACKPOT •••• on: January 04, 2015, 08:34:11 AM
Faucet is decreased to 500 satoshis?

People were farming coins with multiple accounts + throttling server too much. Need to consider how to handle this in future.

Btw: Tipping feature is online. Type /tip [user] [amount] into chat.

Pretty much what everyone else has already said. Faucet can be claimed once every minute or 2 minutes per IP. It really is as simple as this.
1552  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANN] SimpleDice | Fun And Simple Dice | Clean Design | Invest, Chat, and MORE! on: January 03, 2015, 10:42:57 PM
this can be another possible site to ran away with investors fund Tongue

lightlord, the owner of 777coin, contacted us about holding the investor funds as a third party escrow. I agreed, and hopefully we can work something out once he comes online.

And about restoring user balances ?

What is your policy on bug reports. I was looking on the site but could not find any info.

If you find any bug, please report it here, or you can email us to support@coinXerox.com (the link is at the page footer). We welcome any report.

I was implying what is the policy on bug bounties. As in bounty sizes.
Is it beneficial for the finder to report them, or is better just to abuse them. There's so many casinos lately who screw over the person who found the weakness.

I want to know the same too. Smiley

Currently we have no such bug report policy. If you know some major security bug which we don't, we would like to know it - absolutely.

Although how much costs such report and how to determine that a report is valuable for us? Do you have any previous experiences, do you already collaborate with some other game sites?

Not having a policy in place already shows you have no long term interest in keeping your operations. Bug reports and bounties go hand in hand as they make the experience more enjoyable for users and on critical ones keep you or your clients from loosing money.

So when determining bug bounties.
a) If it is a minor bug (such as bad front-end coding, cosmetic errors) you need to evaluate if removing the bug makes it more enjoyable for the users and keeps them playing and even returning. A broken site is not tempting for the users.
b) On critical bugs the bounty should be determined about the severity of the bug. If a user is capable of beating one of your games and withdrawing funds using those funds. How much would you loose, and how much are you willing to spend to ensure it wont happen.
c) Another critical bug where one player is capable of removing other users funds, betting using their balance or other malicious activities. How much is your users security worth?

When deciding you need to understand that not everyone is interested in reporting the issue, there is plenty of people who will abuse any found weakness.

On cosmetical weaknesses offering 0.01 or around it, maybe more is fine i believe.
But on critical weaknesses offering something like 0.01 will get your weaknesses sold to other users who are not so kind.
Ive seen bounties go from 0.5-10btc on critical ones but it is dependent on the severity.

That is usually the way it goes.

As for the last part, i have done basic testing for various sites. (Mostly softcore testing)
1554  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 2015 Treasure-Hunt Contest 3+ BTC To Give Away! ||| Celebrate Bitcoin's Birthday on: January 03, 2015, 01:29:41 PM
2015 is here, and we want to know how much YOU know about Bitcoin. Today, the 3rd of January marks the 5th birthday of Bitcoin. To celebrate, we are doing a huge giveaway to give thanks to the Bitcoin community, and to give an opportunity for some fun. Please read this thread carefully. Here are some things to know when participating:

  • The contest starts at the time of this posting (approximately 6 AM GMT, the 3rd of January, 2015).
  • The contest is scheduled to end on the 31st of January, 4 weeks from now.
  • The contest consists of a "Q&A" style treasure-hunt. Each correct answer moves you onto the next level.
  • The winners will be decided by the users that are at the top of the leaderboard at 12:00 GMT January 31st, 2015.
  • Any cheating results in immediate disqualification, this includes sharing answers.
  • The maximum number of levels to be included are 150. If the maximum level is reached legitimately before the end of the contest, the leaderboard will freeze and the winners will be paid. Levels are given 15 at a time.
  • Your username on Bitcoin Yoga MUST be your exact Bitcointalk username. Prizes are claimed via bitcointalk.

More rules can be found here: http://www.bitcoinyo.ga/rules.php

Can't get by a question? Answers are available for 0.005 BTC each. To prevent users from getting to the top solely by buying answers, after 10 questions are bought, the price jumps to 0.008 BTC per answer. No more than 20 questions may be bought from a single user. PM me to buy an answer.

Unofficial prize ordering (approximate amounts, to be confirmed):

1st: 1 BTC
2nd: 0.75 BTC
3rd: 0.5 BTC
4th: 0.25 BTC
5th: 0.15 BTC
6th to 12th: 0.1 BTC

http://www.bitcoinyo.ga/

Some extra tips:

Be careful when giving out your trust, you can easily be used to get some quick easy answers.
Answers are designed to make you think outside the box.
If you're stuck on an answer, try another approach.

Smells like the "Puzzle.me" scam Smiley
There is no way anyone will win this.
1) OP will give the answers to his/her friends who will suddenly "win" the quiz.
2) Selling answers - same as puzzle.me scam
3) No proof of funds.

If you are hoping to win anything from here you are a fool. This forum has already been tricked by the same scam once before, if you fall for it once more it is your own stupidity.
