1541  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: July 20, 2016, 06:18:14 PM
I am going to join this campaign.
Seems like a decent, trustworthy site, and I like the fact that there is no minimum post count.
I really don't want to be forced to make posts when I don't have anything constructive to say just to satisfy some requirement. Smiley
1542  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User "Cloud Mining" is now deleting posts warning of his ponzi scam in thread. on: July 20, 2016, 05:49:32 PM
I am personally not taking any sides on this debate because I have no evidence,
but I certainly respect the amount of time and effort cryptodevil puts into this.
I feel like someone would only do this if they had some actual proof or a serious personal grudge.

1543  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to collect BTC ?? on: July 20, 2016, 03:48:42 PM
The best way to get some Bitcoin is to get a real job and use that money to buy BTC.
You are never going to make any money from faucets, campaigns etc unless you are the one running it. Wink
1544  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: where I can buy bitcoin or other coin by my credit card? on: July 10, 2016, 12:57:33 PM
Coinbase.com is good.
You can only buy $40 a day to start, but transaction fees are low, you get the coins instantly and its very easy.
Have to verify your identity.
1545  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Big Halvening Price Rise on: July 10, 2016, 03:53:25 AM
The price rise from the halving happened over the last few weeks.
Things are going to be steady, but will probably increase slowly over the next couple months.
1546  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm dumping my bitcoins so you should on: July 07, 2016, 04:24:56 PM
Down $30 since I checked last night.
Volume is low because everyone is waiting to see what happens over the next couple days?
I didn't expect it to stay at $700 but its pretty brutal because I bought some coins and not when they were $400 LOL.
1547  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS][US] 2x Gekkoscience Compac USB ASIC stickminers on: July 06, 2016, 11:57:03 PM
$40 shipped in the continental US if anyone is interested! (OBO)
1548  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dark marketplaces? on: July 05, 2016, 07:42:44 AM
Ive heard there are some markets which are invite only, but since I'm not really into buying stuff on the darknet I wouldn't know how you get invited to such a thing.
It does make me miss the days when I had access to invite only torrent forums like Oink- FLAC audio rips of a ton of good music, was the best audio torrent site I've ever seen.
Really as long as people aren't selling CP or weapons I don't care if they buy drugs or whatever. All that stuff should be legal anyways.

If you are going to start a darknet market, you better have a team of people who know a lot about computer security, web coding etc or you are going to get busted by Law Enforcement or someone will hack the site and leak your info/ steal all the coins, since most sites act as some sort of escrow, from what I understand.
1549  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Need BTC, I have PayPal on: July 05, 2016, 05:05:00 AM
I had good luck buying some from Virwox.
Can be hard getting people to deal with you until you have some trust built up on the site. Sad
You will probably have to find some form of payment that doesnt involve reversible transactions or that allows you to use escrow etc.
1550  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: July 04, 2016, 05:06:11 PM
Halving is in the next four or five days, anyways, right?
So you might as well hold a few days and see what happens.
I doubt the price would go down. If anything it will probably stay the same or jump up slightly before coming back down.

1552  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD][US] 2x Gekkoscience Compac USB ASIC stickminers[SOLD] on: July 04, 2016, 03:40:53 PM
*********************SOLD*************************
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1173963.0

I have two of the Gekkoscience stickminers that I'm no longer using.
If anyone is interested in buying them, please send me a message.
They were mostly run at stock speeds with some small periods where I overclocked them to 175-200 mhz for testing.
Never really had any hardware errors.
I would prefer to ship these in the United States since shipping cost/ times would probably be high outside the US.

Please let me know if you are interested and what you feel a reasonable price for the two sticks shipped is.
I will box these up nicely wrapped and padded and send priority shipping USPS.

*********************SOLD******************************

Thanks to anyone who was interested but these have sold and shipped.
Thanks!!!

1555  Other / Off-topic / Re: What OS do you prefer? on: June 10, 2016, 10:29:07 PM
Windows 8.1/ 10 for Windows desktop/ laptop
Server 2012 for Windows server environment
CentOS for linux servers
Kali linux (Debian with networking/ pentest tools pre-installed)
Ubuntu is nice too. Looks good and easy to use they have done a good job the last couple of years imo.
1556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS basically DESTROYED on: June 08, 2016, 11:09:03 PM
Even if Bitcoin dies, and it might be replaced by another coin or technology,
the underlying principles are what matters. This is just the beginning of cryptocurrencies.
1557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falling under 300 again on: June 07, 2016, 06:49:05 PM
The price may stabilize or fall a little, but I would be shocked if it went below $450-500 again.
(Unless there was some SERIOUS market manipulation going on.)
1558  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying bitcoins in the US- what option for the lowest fees? on: June 07, 2016, 06:31:35 PM
Yeah staying anonymous would be okay but not a huge deal since I just want to buy some coins and sit on them for a few years.
If I was buying stuff off the darknet etc I would definitely be concerned about linking my bank account to an address. Wink
1559  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: CryptoHydrant Earn 12,000 Satoshis a day 1000 satoshi Every 2 Hours. on: June 07, 2016, 03:31:03 PM
Just wanted to say great job with the recent updates to the site!
The "Request Withdrawl" section now shows the history of your payouts, with an amount and the address that it was sent to.

There was a period over the last couple of days where the site was running very slow, but it seems to be loading very quickly now.

Also I just noticed that if I go to the "Requests Withdrawl" page from my work address, I get the message-
Sorry! You can not enter because your ip has a high threat level, this mean you are using a vpn, proxy, tor, or your ip has been reported as a threat

I don't believe that we are using any sort of VPN and we shouldnt' be reported as a threat anywhere. We are a legitimate IT company.
I will check if I get the same message when I get home later today. Maybe I will PM bassdude with my IP so he can check if there is a reason I'm getting this message.

Also I want to say that I've gotten 3 or 4 payments from this site and have had no issues with it. It's definitely a good, legitimate faucet. Smiley
1560  Economy / Economics / Re: How would you double $100,000 safely? on: June 07, 2016, 02:49:30 AM
Safely != double in a year.
Pick one or the other. For such a high rate of return you will probably be taking a lot of risk.
If you give it a longer period of time you can obviously double your money.
