I'm ranked #4 in the last 24 hours? How is that possible 🙈 As expected ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

I decided to end these 7-day bans early. Altcoin giveaways involving incentivized posting are not allowed anywhere on the forum, but certain incentivized-posting games (not altcoin giveaways) are allowed in Games & Rounds. Slightly off-topic (but not worth a new thread): would you consider updating the altcoin giveaway rules? I imagine those rules were made when many worthless altcoins were spamming the forum (kinda like the current bounty threads), but if someone is giving away some real value of an established altcoin that can be exchanged for Bitcoin, shouldn't that be allowed? It's going to be tough to set a minimum, and there's going to be border cases, but the minimum could be for instance worth $50 or 0.01 BTC. There are currently topics (such as this one) with thousands of posts for a $250 giveaway. It's in Bitcoin, so it's allowed, but it's clearly a thread nobody is going to read. So: shouldn't for instance a 40,000 Dogecoin giveaway be allowed too?

I've excluded all users who only participated in the giveaway while Bitcoin was being given away. You were not one of those users. Allow me to quote you: You are completely free to appeal it to theymos though, who can then decide whether the ban should be lifted either due you not breaking the forum's rules (and my interpretation of them being wrong) or if he decides that due to your contributions / history / etc. a ban isn't needed (since I'm not the policy maker on Bitcointalk, I don't feel comfortable making that decision). ~snip~ The (now trashed) thread in question was reported by a user. I've trashed the linked thread as well. Will wait on issuing bans until this situation gets resolved. I thought the second part meant waiting for theymos' verdict, which is this: I decided to end these 7-day bans early. Altcoin giveaways involving incentivized posting are not allowed anywhere on the forum, but certain incentivized-posting games (not altcoin giveaways) are allowed in Games & Rounds. The topic was incorrectly posted in Games & Rounds, possibly causing some understandable confusion among participants.
Does that mean coinlocket$ and others are unbanned already too? Or does it not apply to that thread? I mainly feel for good users, many of them in lockdown, who can't use their (or at least that's how I see it) favourite forum for a week. Especially during the times we're glued to our homes.

0. Everyone grows the fuck up and stops using red trust in their pillow fights. I reckon that would fix about 1/3 of this list. That's like seeing unicorns and world peace. KYC on Bitcointalk is more likely! 5. The user(s) who left the negative feedback WITHOUT proof and\or fictitious accusation That's #2 already.

I finally got a chance to test drive the Coldkey Cryptobond. I used your big picture to test the error correction on the locked transaction: when I cover about 5% of the image with my hand, my phone can still scan it. That's good ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

BTW I've been trough my PMs and I can tell that this guy really invested a lot of time and effort reporting spam, I don't think he will leave the forum for like 2500$ and ruin the whole reputation. Probably it's a lot of money where he lives but still, with his reputation had a chance to make this 2.5K for like 4-5 months. I don't think his plan was to scam when he started, but if he was trying to pay back one loan by taking another, my guess is he has more debts elsewhere too. That could put his total debt far above an (average) annual salary where he lives, and my guess is his debt on Bitcointalk is a lot easier to walk away from than debts he took in real life.

I would def not say of the 4 options you posted, none of them classify every situation. Would need to be on a case by case basis IMO. I've added your quote, it was indeed not my intention to treat all users the same way. Some are obvious, but most are a bit of a gray area. Not going to name names You can't really hide from https://bpip.org/r/dt1changes.aspxYou should probably look into the difference between someone's trust feedback and their trust score. I've added your quote too. That too was my intention, and indeed, having red trust doesn't necessarily mean someone's ratings are bad. Example: theyoungmillionaire was totally fine, until he disappeared with a loan.

post Your REF LINK in this thread. This is most likely not allowed: 4. No referral code (ref link) spam.

I'm looking for a post from July 2018. I started scraping 2 months later (I haven't published those posts online). My older post scraping project scrapes one thread at a time, so if the post was made in a old topic and only deleted recently, I might have it. But that's not very likely.

Apparently there even was a big discussion whether or not people deserved to be banned by posting in this thread Mprep makes a good and fair point when he says " Rules apply to everyone.". It's harsh, but it's fair. The only thing is that due to the lockdown, i'm actually sitting behind my desk being bored, posting on bitcointalk would have been a welcomed change... Lockdown sucks ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

That post is in English, why is it on a local board? Many others posts in that thread are in English too. It looks like the topic is based on their physical location and not the language, but it's not surprising other users don't go there to read it, especially if it's on page 97 already. It's okay to post links to other languages in that topic, and many users have done that. I sometimes (but not often) read them using Google Translate, and others do the same.

It says in his trust that this account is either sold or hacked, but this account is still a valid DT2. Is that normal or what? The account is included by TECSHARE: For the record: TECSHARE included him more than a year ago, while the negative feedback appeared less than half a year ago. TECSHARE should check this ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
I noticed this case too when I posted the lists. I can create a weekly list of all DT-members with one or more negative feedbacks, but that will also include many users who have a lot of positive feedback.
