I'm ranked #4 in the last 24 hours? How is that possible 🙈
As expected Tongue
15422  Economy / Reputation / Re: NOW LIVE Viewing unedited/deleted posts (search per post, per user or per topic) on: March 25, 2020, 10:10:39 AM
See http://loyce.club/archive/topics/ for posts made in a certain topic (Working!)
Updated every 5 minutes.
Notification: On many of those pages, the topic title was missing (due to an error). I've temporarily renamed the current version to http://loyce.club/archive/topics.old____fixing_errors_in_some_of_the_titles/. If you're looking for this data, use this, but please don't post links to that URL. Once the update is done, I'll remove this link.
The normal location, http://loyce.club/archive/topics/, has incomplete data at the moment.

Update: done! The normal link works again Smiley
15423  Other / Meta / Re: banned... Bummer... Could somebody give a shout out to my businesspartners? on: March 24, 2020, 07:03:21 PM
I decided to end these 7-day bans early. Altcoin giveaways involving incentivized posting are not allowed anywhere on the forum, but certain incentivized-posting games (not altcoin giveaways) are allowed in Games & Rounds.
Slightly off-topic (but not worth a new thread): would you consider updating the altcoin giveaway rules? I imagine those rules were made when many worthless altcoins were spamming the forum (kinda like the current bounty threads), but if someone is giving away some real value of an established altcoin that can be exchanged for Bitcoin, shouldn't that be allowed?
It's going to be tough to set a minimum, and there's going to be border cases, but the minimum could be for instance worth $50 or 0.01 BTC. There are currently topics (such as this one) with thousands of posts for a $250 giveaway. It's in Bitcoin, so it's allowed, but it's clearly a thread nobody is going to read.
So: shouldn't for instance a 40,000 Dogecoin giveaway be allowed too?
15424  Economy / Reputation / Re: Fake volume in ILCOIN ANN thread on: March 24, 2020, 06:54:16 PM
There are several accounts that are trying to make fake volume in ILCOIN ANN thread without making a single post in other threads.

15425  Other / Meta / Re: As many others I'm banned for 7 days on: March 24, 2020, 06:22:23 PM
I've excluded all users who only participated in the giveaway while Bitcoin was being given away. You were not one of those users.
Allow me to quote you:
You are completely free to appeal it to theymos though, who can then decide whether the ban should be lifted either due you not breaking the forum's rules (and my interpretation of them being wrong) or if he decides that due to your contributions / history / etc. a ban isn't needed (since I'm not the policy maker on Bitcointalk, I don't feel comfortable making that decision).
~snip~
The (now trashed) thread in question was reported by a user. I've trashed the linked thread as well. Will wait on issuing bans until this situation gets resolved.
I thought the second part meant waiting for theymos' verdict, which is this:
I decided to end these 7-day bans early. Altcoin giveaways involving incentivized posting are not allowed anywhere on the forum, but certain incentivized-posting games (not altcoin giveaways) are allowed in Games & Rounds. The topic was incorrectly posted in Games & Rounds, possibly causing some understandable confusion among participants.
Does that mean coinlocket$ and others are unbanned already too? Or does it not apply to that thread?

I mainly feel for good users, many of them in lockdown, who can't use their (or at least that's how I see it) favourite forum for a week. Especially during the times we're glued to our homes.
15426  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT-members who have negative feedback (or are banned) on: March 24, 2020, 04:26:23 PM
0. Everyone grows the fuck up and stops using red trust in their pillow fights. I reckon that would fix about 1/3 of this list.
That's like seeing unicorns and world peace. KYC on Bitcointalk is more likely!

5. The user(s) who left the negative feedback WITHOUT proof and\or fictitious accusation
That's #2 already.
15427  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN/PoC] Coldkey Cryptobond - FIRST Timelocked Physical Bitcoin on: March 24, 2020, 04:02:53 PM
I finally got a chance to test drive the Coldkey Cryptobond.
I used your big picture to test the error correction on the locked transaction: when I cover about 5% of the image with my hand, my phone can still scan it. That's good Smiley
15428  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - theyoungmillionaire u=1180530 on: March 24, 2020, 02:08:12 PM
BTW I've been trough my PMs and I can tell that this guy really invested a lot of time and effort reporting spam, I don't think he will leave the forum for like 2500$ and ruin the whole reputation. Probably it's a lot of money where he lives but still, with his reputation had a chance to make this 2.5K for like 4-5 months.
I don't think his plan was to scam when he started, but if he was trying to pay back one loan by taking another, my guess is he has more debts elsewhere too. That could put his total debt far above an (average) annual salary where he lives, and my guess is his debt on Bitcointalk is a lot easier to walk away from than debts he took in real life.
15429  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT-members who have negative feedback (or are banned) on: March 24, 2020, 12:35:02 PM
I would def not say of the 4 options you posted, none of them classify every situation. Would need to be on a case by case basis IMO.
I've added your quote, it was indeed not my intention to treat all users the same way. Some are obvious, but most are a bit of a gray area.

Not going to name names
You can't really hide from https://bpip.org/r/dt1changes.aspx

You should probably look into the difference between someone's trust feedback and their trust score.
I've added your quote too. That too was my intention, and indeed, having red trust doesn't necessarily mean someone's ratings are bad.
Example: theyoungmillionaire was totally fine, until he disappeared with a loan.

This is most likely not allowed:
4. No referral code (ref link) spam.
15431  Economy / Reputation / DT1 and DT2 members who have negative feedback (or are banned) on: March 24, 2020, 09:44:02 AM
As an addition to my Complete overview of users on DT1 and DT2 and their ratings in Meta, in which I sometimes highlight suspicious users on DT, I came up with this idea after Ratimov highlighted another DT-user with negative feedback:
I can create a weekly list of all DT-members with one or more negative feedbacks, but that will also include many users who have a lot of positive feedback.

The list of DT-members who have negative feedback (or are banned)

(sorting: first DT1-members, then oldest accounts first)

Note that there are usually several possibilities to improve the situation
  • The user with negative feedback should be excluded
  • The user(s) who left the negative feedback should be excluded
  • Both of the above
  • None of the above
Pick wisely :D
Would need to be on a case by case basis IMO.
You should probably look into the difference between someone's trust feedback and their trust score.

Updates
I'll post weekly updates.

Limitations
Not all data is realtime, Trust scores for instance are scraped around 2 days before theymos' Trust data dump (which happens on Saturday morning).

No spam
Self-moderated, but usually I don't delete posts too easily. If it does happen, see loyce.club/archive/topics/523/5235038.html for deleted posts (before editing).
Feel free to discuss cases here.

I'm looking for a post from July 2018.
I started scraping 2 months later (I haven't published those posts online). My older post scraping project scrapes one thread at a time, so if the post was made in a old topic and only deleted recently, I might have it. But that's not very likely.
15434  Other / Meta / Re: banned... Bummer... Could somebody give a shout out to my businesspartners? on: March 23, 2020, 07:35:32 PM
Apparently there even was a big discussion whether or not people deserved to be banned by posting in this thread
Mprep makes a good and fair point when he says "Rules apply to everyone.". It's harsh, but it's fair.

That post is in English, why is it on a local board? Many others posts in that thread are in English too. It looks like the topic is based on their physical location and not the language, but it's not surprising other users don't go there to read it, especially if it's on page 97 already.

there is already a special topic where anyone can publish unmerited good posts - [self-moderated] Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source. Of course, we should first ask @LoyceV if he would be against publishing posts in other languages in his topic.
It's okay to post links to other languages in that topic, and many users have done that. I sometimes (but not often) read them using Google Translate, and others do the same.

It says in his trust that this account is either sold or hacked, but this account is still a valid DT2. Is that normal or what?
The account is included by TECSHARE:
Quote
Trust list for: hashman (Trust: +0 / =0 / -4) (7 Merit earned) (Trust list) (BPIP) (created 2020-03-21_Sat_06.09h)

hashman's judgement is Trusted by:
1. TECSHARE (Trust: +48 / =5 / -1) (DT1! (0) 777 Merit earned) (Trust list) (BPIP)

For the record: TECSHARE included him more than a year ago, while the negative feedback appeared less than half a year ago. TECSHARE should check this Smiley

I noticed this case too when I posted the lists. I can create a weekly list of all DT-members with one or more negative feedbacks, but that will also include many users who have a lot of positive feedback.
