15501  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: SSH Unlock & Signature Check Removal Unlock Tool • For Antminer S17 and T17 on: November 27, 2019, 04:52:08 PM
nice.

i have some t17e new.

i would love 💕 to unlock the t17e.

and back it off it currently does 53th and 3356 watts.

i would prefer it to do 3000 watts not 3356 watts.

i have  16x s17 pro. would love to explore a setting that goes to

35th and 1050 watts on the most efficient end.

i have 2x t17e
i have 1x t17
i have 1x t17+
i have 1x s17

and a mix of 26-27 s9 s9i s9k

i want to explore underclock on all this gear.

basically if 1/2  ing really hurts mining i want to be ready now to underclock all this gear.

ahh poor princess, worried that I am onto you and you lies and misinterpretation?

listen here you stupid little pasta fucking pizza wanking twat - an API Key is not a Bitcoin private key and you offering a guaranteed return for a bot is stupid. add onto the fact you want people to load a Bitmex account and give you full access gives me the right to call you anything I fucking want.

you are a twat - a cunt - a waste of space and a scammer. If this forum wasn't full of greedy and innocent people I wouldn't have to call you out, but I do - same as any other person who has spoken out against you.

xxx laters sexy pants

EDIT - for more context.

an API KEY, based on its privileges, can act as a private key

15503  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: WhatsMiner M20 to be delayed 2-3 weeks (edit) may be 5-7 week delay not sure on: November 27, 2019, 04:10:21 PM
yeah most of the gear i purchased from jan 2019 to now still works.

i had a bad whatsminer m10 and 10 good whatsminer units.
i had a bad avalon a1041 and 2 good ones.  i suspect this was a shipping issue.
i have 3 for 3 good innosilicon
i have 23 for 23 good bitmain miners.

all in all pretty reliable. service from canaan has been better then anyone.
so i still buy from them. i am hoping the feb a1166 are really good.

if the power deal i have a piece of was all mine .  i think i would get all avalon simply because it is easy to work with steve of canaan.

but.    the owner of the warehouse complex and his son and buysolar and me mean 4 votes on purchases.
not one. so i mix the gear with a strong slant towards bitmain.

btw sent you 3 merits

the a841 was really good miner

i like the a1041 i have two of them.

i should get a few a1146 next week.

we hope to get a few a1166 in feb.
15506  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: November 27, 2019, 03:30:02 PM
thank you nice to see you posting.
15507  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bizarre crash! What cause bitcoin crash?? on: November 27, 2019, 03:27:37 PM
36 of 39 posts earned coin for posting here.

why did we drop to 6500 price?  that is a supporting number for major mining companies.

a big player with 70 watt gear turns a profit mining at that price.

so there is a push towards  5000-6500 price level as it is the break even number for big miners.

10k 20k 30k numbers are speculative numbers for traders.

so we have two forces one is always pushing to the breakeven price level.

the other is always pushing to the moon.
15508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Z11 on 120v on: November 26, 2019, 02:59:59 PM
Looks like I should be able to run a 1000w and and 700w psu off one 20a circuit, I'd only be pulling 14.9a. Do you think this would be safe for 24/7 operation?

borderline but yeah.  16 is max  for 24/7/365

Will you use this receptacle ?

it can do it in theory but if you use 2 of them in this case

all 12 awg wire    it is safer  as  each receptacle is rated for 20 amps  and one is  using say 8.5 amps the other is using 6.4
15509  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: T17e review. on: November 26, 2019, 03:51:51 AM
Edit Last night was cold -3 c  or 25-26f.  I had an issue with 1 unit not working.
I went to solar array today added an s17 pro  so there is now 8800-9000 watts used in the spot  The 17e  fired up.  I will monitor this until Monday or tues or Weds after thanksgiving then move gear to Clifton NJ the room there is warmer air is filtered and still have good venting to keep it under 85f or 30c

Okay  they are in buysolar loft  which is the first solararray.  this is an unheated spot.

been -2 to 10c  outside

loft has good ventilation

so at 27f to 50f   it runs very well  been up for 2.5 days doing 53-55th

I would guess space is getting warmer and may be  closer to 60f or 15c since I am running 6600 watts or
25000-27000 btu of endless heat. These will be moved to Clifton after Thanksgiving.

I will not buy anymore of them as I do not like 3000 watt units.
I will end up with

1x t17+
2x t17e
2x m20s
1x m21s
2x a1066      these 8 pieces will pull 27000 watts.  and put out 100,000 + btu

15510  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Special thread concerning bitmains coupons refunds discounts. on: November 26, 2019, 01:35:20 AM
So this would be 865 in my case.
15511  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: US Tariff Ruling N297495 = 2.6% mandatory tariff on bitcoin mining hardware on: November 26, 2019, 01:33:05 AM
I'm confused? Is this what they are charging in China now, because of the anticipated 10% tariff hike on December 15th? Or is this something else an 'upping' of the 2.7% import fee to 10% on ASIC miners (ie electronic components)?

Thanks...just lurking..not buying...but seems quite the clusterf*ck for those who are 'brave' enough to get ASIC equipment.

later

Brad

I WOULD HATE TO  PAY 37.6%  TAX ON 4 m20s units..   it would be more then 3000

anything over 80c will destroy your cpu in a few months

My 3x ryzen 9 3900x all use water coolers.

I have  an

wow missed the jump from 27.6 to 37.6. freaking nuts 🥜!!

at cannongentry please tell us what happens.
15515  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: US Tariff Ruling N297495 = 2.6% mandatory tariff on bitcoin mining hardware on: November 25, 2019, 02:08:34 PM
27.6%  if I am not mistaken.

I have paid trump tax  on bitmain's gear.  1228  for 2x s17's

I have paid trump tax on innosilicon's gear   350 a few times.

I avoided trump tax on the m10 units from pangolin  each one of the eight I ordered was under 800  I ordered them 1 at a time.

grand total of 8 x 790 = 6320  but all a week apart. so no issues.

My guess is  you will get caught and owe %27.6 x 8000  = 2208

if they wrote them up at 2000 a unit.

You should have asked them to list the price at 500 each

so 4x500 = 2000

I am curious  as to how much you will be stuck .

I think I paid more the 2200 this year on gear ordered.
15516  Other / Off-topic / Re: Flat Earth on: November 25, 2019, 01:52:10 PM

so do i report hornetsnest  for plagiarism?

I made no report.  And I was not the one to find out the error that you did. sirazimuth spotted the repeat not me.

Which is why I questioned the ethics of what should be done. My personal opinion is you are not guilty of anything.

I am merely pointing out  the issue of plagiarism is a lot of b.s. in this and many other cases.

Your error was easy to do and I do not think you should be punished in anyway.

Remember I gave you the merits for it for a reason. I liked and still the photo.

You also have zero incentive to plagiarize since you don't have a paid signature.
If you go into meta section you will see I helped to get two people unbanned for plagiarism.
