Non-mechanical gyroscopes can be used to prove the earth is rotating.

1. You're conflating "apparent size" (measured from the viewer and changes value with distance to the viewer) with, "angular size" (measured from the horizon vanishing point and has a constant value).

2. You're conflating the so-called "Coriolis Effect" (an effect so small it requires a super-sensitive LASER or MEMs gyroscope to detect) caused by the rotation of the stars (aether drift) with the theorized rotation of a globe. If the Earth was in motion about an axis then a desktop gyroscope would experience torque; you can't rotate a gyroscope 360° in 24 hours and not have it react to maintain its position.

However you can clearly see none of those are in my video. Sucks for you..

Consider self-immolation, because a viewer watching a ship sail across the horizon debunks ships going up, over and behind curved water. Perspective, convergence and atmosphereic effects explain precisely what a viewer watching the ship sail away is observing.

While you decide what kind of accelerant to use, ponder the fact the bottom part of the scuttled ship in that video you've posted over and over and over again is a reflection of the area just above it due to a narrow band mirage.
