1561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 14, 2023, 08:54:58 PM
To be honest, as a Barcelona fan I was really disappointed when they played their games at the start of the season. plus, a lousy game in the Champions League. I can understand that, because after all Xavi has just rebuilt Barcelona's strength. it will be very difficult, if you hope that Barcelona will immediately transition into a very tough team. evidently, Barcelona was eliminated from the Champions League. also, the wins that Barcelona achieved at the start of the season, mostly from luck. I mean, they played badly but were lucky to get full points.

Well, after the post-world cup. something has changed from Barcelona's playing pattern. in particular, when they had an El Clasico match in the Supercopa de Espana event. my point, Gavi is calmer playing, it seems he is starting to mature in terms of the game, Dembele is also getting more mature, and the most vital thing in my opinion is the role of the two Pivots. since De Jong was paired with Busquest. the system that Barcelona is running looks more structured, combinations and transitions between players are starting to show their rhythm. I'm quite happy to see the rhythm of Barcelona's game this time, it's only natural that they are predicted to win the La Liga, Copa Del Rey and Europa League trophies. but it seems, Barcelona must work hard to realize their mission.
No need to be surprised, because after the world cup they experienced a change in the quality of players. They bought a lot of players which was very beyond everyone's predictions. Before the world cup although they already had some new players, they were in a period of adaptation and indeed they had not yet formed for the UCL. But if they then fail at UEFA then indeed they have not been able to play better in europe. Maybe they are good in La Liga but they have to work hard again and maybe next season they can prove that.
1562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 4 Altcoins to look at in 2023 on: February 14, 2023, 07:56:22 PM
of the 4 Altcoins the most recommended for long-term holding is ethereum, there is nothing better than it. Ethereum moving from PoS to PoW has a huge impact on reducing energy consumption and making the ethereum network more efficient and scalable. validators do not need to mine using large computing hardware, as is done in the POW system. Validators only need to have a certain amount of Ethereum to validate transactions. This means that PoS systems require less energy and cost, and it also becomes easier for users to become validators.

Currently, even ethereum layer2 is evolving and providing many benefits to ethereum as well as ongoing layer2 projects. Layer 2 allows more transactions to be performed at the same time, thus allowing Ethereum to overcome scalability issues. Since transactions performed through layer 2 do not require validation from all nodes in the network, transaction fees are lower.
1563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As mining is no longer profitable... on: February 14, 2023, 06:51:32 PM
Depending on factors such as Bitcoin price, electricity costs, and competition, mining Bitcoin using the Proof-of-Work (POW) method can be profitable or unprofitable. When Bitcoin prices are high and electricity costs are low, mining can be profitable. With increased competition and electricity costs, mining revenue margins can become narrower and less profitable. Before deciding to invest in Bitcoin mining, it is crucial to take these factors into account and do proper research.

Some analysts argue that POS systems will become more popular and profitable in the long run because they are more energy efficient and environmentally friendly than POW systems

However I’m happy with how Manchester United performed last night, and what a player Rashford is turning out to be because I never really expected him to score so many goals for the club.
Actually they didn't perform well there were some player mistakes that shouldn't have happened. It did Shaw and Maguire. Even Maguire was worse because there were a few moments of mispasses and the ball was lost in the defensive area. I also saw several times Ten Hag couldn't believe it by shaking his head. The second half was enough to make me happy that Man United shifted Shaw and in Luiz Martinez.  Bruno was sacked and Garnacho was sacked then Rashford was the striker and Wout was behind Rashford. This tactic worked even though Man United didn't actually have many shots on goal.
1565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency industry challenges and impact on Bitcoin? on: February 13, 2023, 08:15:09 PM
paypal i think had helped the adoption of BTC. there were issues but the millions of users of Paypal was made aware of BTC.
in my country crypto still is often regarded as scam by the mainstream media. i'm sure its the same with other countries. this makes the rest of the people left behind with this new asset class which i think is one of the challenges in the industry resulting to a very slow adoption.  with the scam reports of the media, the trust of the people is another challenge to beat.
Paypal plays an important role in helping to accept and adopt Bitcoin as a currency and investment asset. By adding Bitcoin payment features to their platform, Paypal is simplifying transactions and making Bitcoin more accessible to many. It also gave the cryptocurrency technology and market wider legitimacy and acceptance.

The mainstream media still often takes a skeptical view of cryptocurrencies and assumes that many of them are scams. However, as time passes and the popularity of cryptocurrencies increases, this view begins to change and more people begin to understand and trust this technology.

There are also more regulations being put in place to address security concerns and help reduce the risk of fraud, making it important for people to research and fully understand before deciding to invest in cryptocurrencies.
1566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 13, 2023, 07:19:24 PM
what you say is true, but on the other hand I really like this competition
what a championship it would be where the same team always wins and where there is no competition, it would be a boring championship!

All want the beloved club of champions. Maybe he is like that too. But for serie A I don't have any clubs I idolize, so the competition as it is today is so good. Juventus, Inter, Milan are no longer the favorites for this season. Napoli was very strong and gave everyone a surprise. At the beginning of the season I was actually still very doubtful, but from this half they stayed and performed very convincingly. So I think right now the strongest potential champion this season is Napoli. For Juventus, let them struggle I'm not sure they're capable of returning to the top five this season.
1567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 13, 2023, 06:39:46 PM
Congratulations Madrid you guys are club World Cup champions.  At least Anceloti already has one trophy for the season. They still have 3 chances of winning. Copa Del Rey Cup, La Liga and UCL. But it seems that they encountered a tough opponent in this game. In the Real Madrid competition, it is also difficult because of 2 defeats that make them lose points and make the points difference with Barcelona even bigger, 8 points. Hope Madrid continue to win to at least win one more trophy this season.
1568  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If You Could Start Over, How Would you Learn Day Trading on: February 12, 2023, 07:20:11 PM
~snip~
Being part of a trading community is a wise move for beginner traders to expand their knowledge and learn about new techniques and strategies. These communities also provide an opportunity to share experiences and discuss with other traders who share similar interests. No matter the type of trading you want to do, joining a community will help you become a better trader and minimize the risk of loss.

Also, to start day trading, technical analysis is one of the most widely used approaches. Technical analysis involves using charts and technical indicators to understand the price trends and outlook for an asset. Many day traders use technical analysis as a basis for making trading decisions. However, it is important to remember that technical analysis is not always accurate and there are many other factors that influence asset prices such as economic news and fundamental factors. It is therefore advisable to do enough research and combine with other approaches such as fundamental analysis before making a trading decision.
1569  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner Averaging future trading. on: February 12, 2023, 05:48:01 PM
You are right, what happens is that there is no security to operate in futures systems, because the market is so unstable that at any moment you can start to win and if you do not exit quickly, your position will burn, and if you do not have enough attention You can liquidate the account, that is the extreme care that I see that must be taken when operating in Futures. What I would recommend to the person who operates in futures is that when operating, be very careful, I personally do not operate with futures, the truth is that I would like to because I am curious, in addition to feeling the adrenaline, but I have no experience and it seems too much to me. risky, and the truth is I don't want to lose money, because it hurts me to lose money on something that I know can be good, money is what should be taken care of the most, although for many people they don't stop it.

As a beginner in futures trading, it is very important to be cautious and do your research before entering the market. The futures market has high risk and high volatility, which can lead to huge losses for traders who do not have a solid understanding of the market mechanism and the associated risks. it is important to evaluate your risk profile and understand trading techniques before entering the market.

If you are just testing the waters, do it safely and don't use too much money, use leverage wisely. Liquidation will haunt those who are greedy.

Losing money in futures trading is very painful and it will be a bitter experience. Therefore, you must learn how to minimize not losing money easily.
1570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 12, 2023, 04:42:43 PM
How is Man city's case for the breach of 100-plus financial cases? There has been no convincing word I have gotten. But Pepses feels that Man City were deliberately given a case to cut off the chances of winning the EPL this season. Even in the local media Pep pointed to nine clubs eager to bring down Man city. Among them are Burnley, Wolves, Leicester, Newcastle, Spurs, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea. In fact they sent a letter to UCL to be kicked out of that competition.
1571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 11, 2023, 06:40:09 PM
I'm looking forward to Arsenal's postponed game against Man City. I think this could be the decider of the championship this season. The hope is that they will draw so that Man United can compete for the title this season. But Arsenal could have seized the moment of trouble Man city who are being accused of breaching more than 100 financial regulations in the Premier League. Although Pep loudly denied, but it will affect the psychological state of his players.
1572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I want to ask, at the end of the bitcoin and altcoin year, will the price go up on: February 10, 2023, 07:52:04 PM
We're all expecting the price of bitcoin to go up and we've seen it early this year. But the catch is that this year is still going to be a long year to be seen. We're just in the 2nd month of it and there are 10 more months to go and so on, 2025 then that halving comes.
By that time, the expectation that we're waiting for its price increase should come by that year. As known by the majority, bitcoin will be up so do the altcoins too but we need to be wise with our choices if it's for the alts.
This year will be a long year, as bitcoin is still trying to stay at its current best price.
Currently bitcoin is able to maintain prices above $20k. If bitcoin is unable to survive then there will be several corrections that lead below $20k. this will be a correction that provides an opportunity for those who have not entered the market so that they get a cheaper price.

Halving is certainly a positive indicator for the bitcoin price, as a decrease in new supply can increase demand and lead to an increase in price. However, it should be remembered that halvings do not always have a direct influence on the price of bitcoin and there are many other factors that affect the price of cryptocurrencies, such as market trends, demand, and regulation.

Holding Bitcoin for the long term or some potential altcoins, would be highly recommended. then sell when the halving hype starts.
1573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: February 10, 2023, 07:07:15 PM
If bounties, that are good sources of income, exist, then they definitely not on this forum (if we talk about bounties, but not signature campaigns with BTC payment). Havent seen bounty reward amount praise posts for years. Even during bull market there were no bounties with decent payment, not to mention bounties during current market.

I've checked bounty forum section and what I see. It is either millions of nameless tokens, which equals zero value to me, as such projects never get listed. Or 3-5k bucks budget for hundreds of hunters, which is also close to nothing.

I think I've already asked (not exactly in this topic) to give an example of a good bounty, but still my request is unanswered Cheesy
If you compare it with now, bounty campaigns other than signatures will certainly have a small allocation, because the allocation for social media and other bounty campaigns is not too large and market conditions also do not allow it.

If you fast forward to 2016-2017 you will find many bounty campaigns that provide bigger rewards, you will never even get from the current bounties.
I once got rewarded from an article campaign with a total reward of about $ 3k because the project was successful and was listed in the top market. there were many other similar projects with quite good progress at that time. But for now, it won't provide proper compensation, it even tends to be worthless and we're still waiting for the continuation of project development whether it's listing to the market or not.
1574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: February 10, 2023, 11:59:43 AM
Do bounties really pay? It depends on the project and its reputation. Some bounty projects pay on time and according to the predetermined schedule, while other projects may not pay at all. Therefore, it's important to research and ensure that the project has a good reputation and a track record of paying out rewards before participating in a bounty program.

In general, bounty programs can be a good source of income for those with specific skills, such as marketing or software development. However, it's important to remember that not all bounty programs pay out, and that investing in cryptocurrencies and blockchains carries high risk and may not be suitable for everyone.

I've even found many bounties in the past that paid full rewards to hunters and most of the projects I participated in were successful. But for now, many bounty projects are just a waste.
1575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from a brother's mistake on: February 10, 2023, 01:19:41 AM
Make sure to do sufficient research before deciding to invest in a crypto project. Read white papers, review the development team, and look for reviews from trusted sources.

Find out if there is a demand for the technology offered by the project and if it has the potential to be a useful solution to the problem at hand.

You can help ensure that your investments in crypto projects have the potential to grow and generate good returns.

Binance has a good reputation in the cryptocurrency industry and is often used as a launch pad by new projects. However, there is no guarantee that every project using the Binance launch will be successful.

Relying on past knowledge and experience in making trades is a common practice for many traders. This can help provide a good understanding of the market situation and help identify trends and patterns that might reappear. However, it is also important to remember that the market situation and external factors may change from time to time, so it is important to constantly monitor and take into account the latest information and factors that may influence your trading.
1577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have life span? on: February 09, 2023, 08:11:00 PM
It is difficult to predict the future of technology, including the future of Bitcoin. While some experts believe that the growth and development of Bitcoin technology will continue in the future, others believe that its growth may be limited or even disappear. It depends on various factors, such as the acceptance of the technology by the public, government regulations, and the stability of the market. To determine the future of Bitcoin, it is important to keep an eye on the developments in the technology, its user adoption rate, and any changes in regulations that may impact its use and growth.

I heard Juventus are starting to get angry about Pogba's state . They felt a loss because he didn't get better soon. Even if I'm not mistaken he has been injured four times at Juventus. Before the world cup he had hoped to feature in that event but failed. He also delayed his surgery so that it would take longer to heal. So there is an option to terminate his contract or sell it. Juventus bought him for 31 million pounds and he just became a useless player.

But of course, that's expected. No matter how pious or lenient a business owner is, they will always want to stay in business and make profit. The easiest strategy to getting that is to protect one's business from rivalry. Some of these business owners will resort to negative press or FUD on their rivals. That's what we get to see with sponsored press by banks and other financial houses against Bitcoin. This day, I don't react to FUD. I just plug my ears.
It is a business competition and lagging technology will always corner the latest technology that new technology will only be burdensome and inefficient. Yet they were talking about themselves. Banks feel very competitive with Bitcoin, but Bitcoin does not give any response, it's about the choice of society and today's modern users. FUD continues to be deployed to destroy the bitcoin market, but the more it is hated, the more hype and adoption it starts to do. Covering your ears and not responding to FUD as a threat would be better.
