Manchester City and Arsenal are currently facing the pressure of maintaining top form and staying consistent till the end of the season and the fact that they now have Manchester United on their tails has increased the pressure. This weekend games was Arsenal’s opportunity to either increase the lead points, I’m surprised Arsenal is having a hard time against Brentford, it seems the game is ending in a draw unless one side scores a late minute goal.

It wasn’t surprising seen Brentford getting a point off Arsenal. This is their Ten straight match without losing. They did very well against Arsenal. This Arsenal team look more like a team that is already facing fatigue. Xhaka had a very poor game and it affected Arsenal.

Tottenham also won their last match against Manchester City. And it was unimaginable that they would put in such a terrible performance against Leicester today. Tottenham's defense collapsed badly and they conceded four goals. Although Tottenham scored the first goal of the match, they fell behind 3-1 in the first half. And in the second half they could not return to the truck. Staying in the top four of the points table has now become more difficult for Tottenham.

Tottenham biggest undoing this season has been lack of consistency and it has affected them I see them missing out on the top four should Conte fails to address his defensive woes. The thing has kept the top four team apart from others is keeping clean sheets and that is one thing Tottenham aren’t keeping at the moment

Shocked until the 62th minute Tottenham lost 3-1 to Leicester. Though I believe Tottenham are capable of winning because they are capable of making goals first. It seemed that two quick goals took Tottenham by surprise. Leicester until this minute dared to play openly. In fact they made a lot of chances than Tottenham. I think their Leicester quality is far from Tottenham, but this is what the EPL is all about.

The last three games have not been great for Arsenal in the competition, losing to Manchester United and Everton 1-0 currently drawing with Brentford 1-1 at home. And this makes it easier for Manchester City to be able to win the top of the standings and the next game Arsenal will meet Manchester City again, will Arsenal experience the same thing and lose to Manchester City even though playing at home to Arsenal.
The match against Brentford was Arsenal's chance to get away from Manchester City, but the reality was unexpected Brentford was able to hold it in with a draw. I am worried that Arsenal's performance will decline in the following matches because their last three matches have produced poor results.

Without Jesus its not looking good for us. We need him desperately and btw Arsenal won against United but still we are playing not like we are playing before the World Cup. We need that winning momentum back again. So far things are only looking good for us because City are dropping points and that can change at any point of time. Brentford was never an easy game to begin but we should also have performed better. Things need a slight change and hopefully Arteta makes things in order before the next game.

The draw that Arsenal got, Certainly, will be an opportunity for Man City to shorten their gap with Arsenal.

Lets see if City can take this good opportunity or not as previously they had the same opportunity but failed to take it effectively due to a loss against Tottenham.
The current gap is the real gap because both team have the same number of played matches but of course if City can win in the upcoming match it will give more pressure to Arsenal in the standing although the gap will remain the same if Arsenal can win the next match.
1 point in the last 2 matches is absolutely not good result for Arsenal, it is what usually happen to the leader in the standing when it getting closed to the end of the season.
Arsenal should come back to their best performance and keep their consistency or something that they have dreamed so many years to win the title will be gone this season.

Let's not dwell too much on the disappointment of Chelsea's performance, perhaps it was a deserved result for Chelsea since Graham Potter became Tuchel's successor.
Potter's record track has only been able to make Brighton a mid-table team in the two seasons since he was handled from 2019 to 2022.

It could be that Graham Potter's dismissal as a solution behind Chelsea's poor record so far but the appointment of his replacement if not properly carried out by Boehly will also not be much different from the current results.
Which makes me ask why Potter didn't dare to bring in Fofana and pull out Havertz who didn't look at all optimal earlier.

I think Graham Potter failed in coaching Chelsea. Make no mistake Chelsea have spent lavishly in the January transfer window. They have however failed to win any of their two games since then.

Graham Potter was so out of his depth it was so sad. Only 3 wins in 10 domestic matches and 6 goals. No wins in 10 games against top 10. Chelsea's performance has no character because the coach cannot maximize the abilities of the players.

But Chelsea's current problem is not with the team but with the coach. From the beginning of Graham Potter's appointment as Chelsea coach, I have surmised that Chelsea's performance will not change as expected. I even think Boehly has made the wrong decision at the beginning he acquired the Blues by sacking Tuchel.

This has been my worries since the inception of Potter as Chelsea manager, like the job is too way beyond his capacity based on the level of the club. At first it was like the lack of needed players were the problem behind the losses Chelsea was having even against smaller teams but even with the great players signed to the team Potter is yet to win a game in a superb way befitting of a team that has spent such huge amount of cash in the last window transfer.

Southampton failed to take full points, leading 1-0 at half-time and also played with 11 men against Wolves who only played 10 men, but Southampton still failed to win. So it's no wonder Southampton this season are at the bottom of the Premier League standings, and maybe Southampton will be relegated because it seems that Southampton don't have the ability to get up.

Before the match started I thought Wolves would win but after Wolves got a red card and lost 1-0 at half time, that made me pessimistic. But who would have thought, Wolves, who only played with 10 players, could rise in the second half and managed to make a comeback by scoring two goals and ending the match with a final result of 1-2.

This recent poor performance is a general issues that is affecting the top 4 teams Arsnal , Manchester City, Manchester united and Newcastle united and the rest. The more the league gets closer to the end the more tougher it becomes for the big teams to win their games, and this is as a result that these teams are trying to fix into a proper position and to avoid being relegated , missing out on Champions League and the Europa cup compitions.

Regardless I still believe that Arsenal is going to be the winer of this season's premier league trophy.

This is some kind of Tottenham problem, they can win very difficult games, but at some point they can miss a lot, even during one half. Arsenal draw was also an unexpected result for me, I know that Brentford is a good team but Arsenal should have won. On the game, the team is doing great, but after two defeats, only a draw. I hope this is not a recession, but just an unsuccessful series that will not drag on.

I'm looking forward to Arsenal's postponed game against Man City. I think this could be the decider of the championship this season. The hope is that they will draw so that Man United can compete for the title this season. But Arsenal could have seized the moment of trouble Man city who are being accused of breaching more than 100 financial regulations in the Premier League. Although Pep loudly denied, but it will affect the psychological state of his players.

-I will then say, Asenal despite the present condition will fine the motivation to just win. But then Arsenal needs to braze up to match up to its fellow big clubs.

How do you want them to equal the other big clubs? The team has been at the top of the standings for more than half the season, isn't that enough? It seems to me more than enough. The only thing left for them to achieve is the championship, but it is unlikely to become clear soon and the fight will go on until the last match, because Manchester City is not so easy to give up the victory

But in reality they have to swallow the bitter pill in this match. I really didn't think Arsenal would draw this match. Currently, the performance of the big teams is very poor. Such big teams like Tottenham, Arsenal, PSG are failing to show their performance in different leagues.

The public hypocrisy of Guardiola is certainly a funny sight, but he is nobody in this scheme and nobody cares about his opinion. FC City committed fraud and this is a proven fact, now the only question is how they will be punished for these frauds. Given the fact that now their opponent is the Premier League itself, I have little hope that the matter will not end in zilch, as in a showdown with UEFA and City will be punished in full.

We are not at a good position going into our next fixture with Manchester City, we almost won against Brentford but because some of our players in font have not been their best, players like Martinelli and Xhaka, goals have been difficult. For games that the teams have a lot defenders, I really miss the pressure of Gabriel Jesus and the difficulty he causes to players. Nketiah is good, but for these sort of games Gabriel Jesus would have been more effective, I can not wait to see him back. Trossard should start in the place of Martinelli for the game against Manchester City and Jorginho should still be kept on the bench.

I was really surprised to see Tottenham in such condition. I have no idea how they lost this game against Leicester by an absurd score like 4-1. There was a quite balanced game actually but Leicester were much better at finishing. I had some doubts about Tottenham to win here maybe but I wasn't expecting a this much horrible result. I wish I didn't place my bet on Tottenham.

Kane - Kulusevski - Son trio couldn't do much in this game honestly. I really don't know why. Leicester were actually weak in defense in this season and they were a good target for this trio. But they had an unproductive day.

It was a day full of unexpected outcome in the English Premier league, where Leicester city won Tottenham 4:1 in Leicester home, Tottenham has been So inconsistent losing 4:1 to leicester after winning manchester city last weekend in a match that ought to have been hard for them, this is a bad one for a team that want to move upward in the league table, the away side with all the possession couldn't utilize the shots, the really have to go back to the drawing board and restrategize on how to win match if not the worst is expected of them.
