Wow, that was quick. I see just one last ginter x mini left and next the base card mini's from allen & ginter will have left the building. That's all folks!

Who was looking for a solar eclipse and bomb cyclone. selling a 3/10 if interested (20 shipped or 30 for both shipped).
Actually any player as i have a full set of 3/10. make me an offer. keeping card 83 for myself of course.
The only interest in #222 and #259 is when they can be added to the cryptocurrency #83 card to complete the historical event set. These are the 5x7's I think . Without #83 the set doesn't work.

Absolutely, already it is getting difficult to even find a semi rare #83 and the prospect of finding a rare one is getting near impossible. I include the ginter X black mini in the rare catergory now, and any 1/1's are in a category of their own. Best of luck to all you treasure hunters

Here's a short clip of a 2018 Topps A&G case break. Regards, Me That is so funny, good job BP. Showed some of my buddies, they liked the doodle better than the cards LOL.

Hey Frank I see the pictures of all the cards , that's fantastic I know that had to be fun. Nothing like opening a pack and a rare card jumps out at you

I personally enjoy the hunt as much as the find. I have only seen a few items flipped but, for the most part the highly sought after rare ones have been extremely difficult to find for #83, #222, and #259. This makes the hunt even more fun and when you find one you know you have something special. Enjoy the hunt and most of all have some fun, price will take care of itself I didn't realize the 222 and 259 were valuable. I bet I have several of those laying around Can someone explain why 222 or 259 is related to 83? I get they are also non-baseball cards within the 1-300 series, but the topics are very much unrelated. I think one of the members here just finds these appealing. I bought a few cards for a local basketball player - a glow in the dark and framed autograph. This is a neat hobby. I'm just trying not to go overboard. May be too late though as I have a red, Brooklyn, and no number. Hard not to shoot for full house . It really is fun. I absolutely love it. The hunt is a blast. Wife and I went to all of the Targets in our area hunting for cards. We had a lot of fun doing it. And then opening them and seeing what you find is fun as well. That is fantastic Frank, really the hunting is so much fun.

The red (/5) and Brooklyn (/25) cards aren't very collectible. Most serious #83 Cryptocurrency collectors will go out of their ways to avoid those two cards. However, since I'm such a nice and generous guy, I'm willing to take those off your hands at cost. Regards, Chris Very good, I have a brooklyn and was wondering who I could pawn this off on. I know I overpaid at 10,000.00 but, glad you are willing to cover the cost.

information, Hi Chris
A case of ginter X was cracked open and based on the total of 200 cases and the amount found in 1 case, the total came to around 500 of the regular size cards. Hope this helps, and actually the count for the mini's was revised down to 50 total.
Just to be clear... The above estimate of 500 black cards is based on the contents of a single case, correct? Wouldn’t that mean the single case contained 2.5 black cards? (In other words, 2.5 cards per case x 200 cases = 500 cards.) How does one find .5 cards in a case? I’d think that the case owner found either 2 or 3 black cards making the estimated total quantity either 400 or 600. What am I missing? Regards, Chris You would be correct, there is no half a card but, it was based on a case and some boxes and a little less than 200 cases. I will try to be more precise when I put some numbers up, but, you would be 100% correct mathmatically.

Wow, that was relatively fast. It took months for a piece I commissioned from Miguel Najera Loera called the 2BITCAR. You did a great job, not quite my taste but, I am sure others will enjoy it Best of luck with your sale.

[T]he count for the mini's was revised down to 50 total.
Thanks for the info, dolphriends. Who did the revising? Regards, Chris A friend in the sports card industry , not a bitcoin card fan. Everyone is going to have to wait until official numbers come out which could be quite a wait. Just like the glow in the dark ones, no official number was assigned by Topps. The official number given by Topps for the ginter x black mini was 1. We have already surpassed that.

Please allow me, gentlemen, to humbly request that we stay on topic and leave all negative personal remarks out of this thread. Many view this thread as a valuable source of information regarding these collectible cards, and off-topic remarks only tend to bury or dilute that important information, as I'm sure you'd agree.
Back on topic, I have a question about the Ginter X (black) cards.
If the Ginter X mini cards are limited to ~100 each, then how limited are the Ginter X full-size cards?
Thanks in advance.
Regards, Chris

What i'm seeing is that other than the 1/1 cards, you should be able to ascertain how widely distributed a card with unknown production quantities based upon how many were sold on ebay.
I"m seeing quite a few mini blacks - at least 18. If there were just 50, you'd expect numbers similar to the Brooklyn Back card. We've seen just 3 or 4 Brooklyns, so i think there were more than 50 mini black cards.
This theory may not always hold because, at one point there were only a few gold borders which caused their price to spike to $200. Now there are some being sold for $50. FattCatt already commented on how more of these would be popping up and lo and behold they are.
Now, this pesky glow in the dark is a mystery to me. i opened up two hobby box cases and 30 value backs and i didn't find a glow in the dark of any stripe. There have been 3 on ebay which is just one more than the 1/5 red card, so unless this is a late release, the numbers should be quite low for that one.
You might be right on the black mini except it came out of the hobby box only and they have all but, disappeared. The price I doubt will be going down on those. The gold border is coming out of the retail boxes and I don't have a count on those yet
