That is going to get shut down by the SEC real quick.

Cup and handle formed? Supposedly some "big news" coming out public tomorrow, though I have my doubts on who it is "big" to.

Where do you see the cup and handle? 1day candles?

lol@ all the drug dealers complaining about Gox's minimal and reasonable verification requirements. Don't like it? Go use another exchange that will inevitably get shut down for money laundering.

I don't understand why anybody would want a Mau. They are vicious, like a panther/tiger/lion in small cat form.

I'm looking at weekly volume on mtGox (in BTC)

Last week it has been the week with the lowest volume since the week of Jun 20 2011. And that was the week with the hack and mtGox being offline for 4.5 days. LOL.

Low volume is a good set up for a breakout, no?

In bitcoin (and virtually every speculative market) low volume with stagnant or slowly rising price almost always means heavy manipulation. Breakout? Depends on what the whales are plotting.

Bitcoin is dead.

1587  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if mining suddenly becomes unprofitable for most miners? on: September 24, 2013, 05:54:33 PM
That's not entirely correct.  I don't need a gold miner to trade gold but I need a bitcoin miner to trade bitcoins.
Why? You don't need to have bitcoin miner to trade bitcoins.

Dear 'high'commander,

you are high and stupid and have missed the point completely. stfu and go die.
1588  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: September 23, 2013, 10:09:03 PM
Over half the volume on Gox is that 1btc bot, which is probably Gox liquidating its btc stock to cover withdrawals.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
1589  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: September 23, 2013, 04:33:41 PM
Is it a weekday? I can't tell by looking at the daily volume.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

If you didn't know what a circle jerk is: (I come from a sheltered environment)

It is: When a bunch of politicians - get together for a debate but usually end up agreeing with each other's viewpoints to the point of redundancy, stroking each other's egos as if they were extensions of their genitals. Basically, it's what happens when the choir preaches to itself.

I LOL'd at the thought applied to Bitcoin.

So what you are saying is there is a chance that with enough circle jerkin' we could propel bitcoin over $1000 by friday?

I read ya  Wink

Just to throw a vote out there, i much prefer this thread without the charbuddy updates. It keeps people from being notified all the time and feeling like they should say something evne when there's no real developments. We don't need hourly notifications for subscribers to this thread.

I would also like to throw a vote out there: stop using colored text.
1592  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: September 22, 2013, 09:34:20 PM
We don't really need a chart thread here, anyway.
All it did was encourage circle jerks.

What's wrong with circle jerks?

Positive feedbacks are unsustainable.
That's how we get deflation ...

That's also how we get inflation.

That's also also how we get stagflation.

But it's definitely causing biflation.

In summary, we can get almost anything with circle jerking.

So, who wants me jerk you (long time)?

1594  Economy / Speculation / Gox 24hr volume low: place your bets on: September 21, 2013, 03:39:47 PM
We under 4,000 24hr volume as I type. My bet is 2,000 within 12 hrs. You all owe me 1btc if I'm right.
1595  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins vast overvaluation on: September 21, 2013, 02:15:56 PM
I see 4,000 24hr volume on Gox... Didn't we peak over 500,000 daily volume in April?

lol.
1596  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins vast overvaluation on: September 20, 2013, 04:28:48 PM
If ltc crashes with Atlantis coming down, does this support Falkvinge's btc valuation?
1597  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins vast overvaluation on: September 20, 2013, 02:56:14 AM
I agree with Falkvinge in general, but I think even he is overvaluing bitcoins and underestimating the extent of manipulation.

1598  Economy / Speculation / Re: FED announces it will stick with stimulus program---how will this impact BTC? on: September 19, 2013, 05:27:21 PM
WTF is going on today BTC down, bonds up shouldn't it be to opposite???

Bitcoin is decorrelated. Duh. This has always been the case.

Decorrelated is another way of saying btc is purely speculative, drive by whale manipulators.

you chode.
1599  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: September 19, 2013, 04:29:46 PM
I spy some mighty sells. Looks like we crashin today.

1600  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: September 19, 2013, 05:28:28 AM
Gox will not lose front runner status until they resume withdrawals. And that will cause mega crash to single digits and eventually annihilation of bitcoin. So, there will be no front-runner.
