I am coming a little late to the party, but looking to complete a set. I am not worried about numbers right now, I just want a full set. Here is a link to what I have and what I am looking for https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1187809.msg12497303#msg12497303. I prefer trades whenever possible. I am not looking to spend a lot of BTC on these but to have some fun with them. What I like about this series is that it reminds me of the early physical cryptos that were more about trying new things and less about the commodification of Bitcoin.

You will have more luck trying to gather a specific number than a specific coin. Trust me, many people do not want to give up their Bitcoin coins, and many have been looking for Bitcoin coins. Same for shadowcoins.

I am really curious about this little guy..

1587  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin mining 101 blocks solved! on: September 29, 2015, 06:02:23 PM
Hang on though. How come that was solved with 25m bestshare, even though my stats showed 60m+?

I think this is the "new" best share, as I look after it, after the pool reported.

Best share resets after someone on the pool solved a block. Normally ck has the information on his end.

Yea you are. For some reason I thought this ended later.
1589  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] PAPERSAFE Collectable Paper Wallets.. THE Blockchain Mining Note on: September 29, 2015, 02:22:28 AM
The PaperSafe , BLOCKCHAIN MINING Share certificate would be limited to only 100 Prints also.... They would be Numbered from 100 to 199.
The first 10, I could probable print the Keys and addresses with secure hologram, like the first series and sell/auction them off individually..  This is still in the "What the hell do I want to do/ What do people want " Stage....  I am just gauging interest with the direction of the second series of notes.

Better get auctioning Cheesy

Looks like about 1PH

Nice, how many blocks solves each month this pool?

Thanks.

It varies, a lot.

One week there was like 6-7 block solves, and then some weeks there are 0 solves.

Well if anyone is interested I'd match up to 4BTC for like a group rental.
1594  Economy / Goods / Re: PlayStation 4 Bundle + 42" Sony 1080i HDTV on: September 26, 2015, 12:46:41 PM
I'd love to but I do not deal with escrow. I kmow this doesn't sound appealing, but I've had my fair share of being screwed by escrow. I have been burnt extremely bad before, approximately 7.3 BTC. User said they never receieved my product, and got out of paying for over half of the true value of it.The escrow service asked for 50% up front (7.3), and the other 50% would be paid after product has been received. The only portion I ever received was the first 7.3, screwing me out of 7.3 more that I never saw.

I know this would sound bad but that sounds like just a really bad escrow.

I can vouch for OgNasty saying he has done probably hundreds of thousands of bitcoin escrows and is one of the best. Just throw tracking or signature confirmation on it and he would check that so you don't get screwed.

But thats my two cents.
1595  Economy / Goods / Re: PlayStation 4 Bundle + 42" Sony 1080i HDTV on: September 25, 2015, 06:01:57 AM
You should post pictures with your name on it, as well as date to prove ownership.

Just a lot of people have been burned before.

FAQs

1. WHY $1 +…?

To at least satisfy the condition of consideration of payment in my local government currency.

3. Can I just pay in Bitcoin?

Yes. All accept the $1 difference to be accepted in cash.

This was how smoothie was advertising his sale, so I assume depending on your local government regulations it is possible.

1599  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: How do I buy a block to my address ? on: September 24, 2015, 07:42:20 PM
I'd say just rent out 5PH from westhash and mine against your own node.

Has anyone ever made a profit by renting from westhash and mining at solo.ckpool or only the miners at westhash make the money?
Simple statistics ... only the rental company charging a % fee is expected to make money out of it.

Block finding is random, so of course some win and some lose, but it will average out to only the rental company making a profit.

Oddly enough, that is blatantly obvious, but it doesn't seem to stop people renting ... ... ...

We had a solo group renting hash with phil, we got two blocks after a couple of attempts, was like attempt 3 or four. i think we got a tiny bit more than when we started.

Congratulations on being lucky. Works in favor of the cloud mining site in the long run though, which apparently is really hard to understand for some people.
Can hash renting services be termed as cloud mining ?

Well you never physically see the machines, so I assume why not?

Unless you break it down to where cloud mining, they "normally" pay you over time after you invest.

But with rented hash you normally get to choose where your hash goes.
1600  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] f*D Bar and Kialara cases/container/box/holder on: September 24, 2015, 02:50:08 PM
Hey all,

I'm currently looking to buy a case/container/box/holder for my f*D bar and my Kialara's. Good ones are hard to find. I mean, I did found an amazing Lindner Nimbus 230, but they are quite pricey, mostly because of shipping. Example of how they look, courtesy of fvs114:

Does anyone know something like this or someway that I can display my f*D bar and Kialara's without exposing them to air.

It looks like that company has an English based version for the US..

https://paloalbums.com/accessories/nimbus-display-frames

But Damn $30.00 plus $9.00 in shipping.
