1581  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The beginning of another bullish momentum! on: September 18, 2017, 04:42:54 PM
Just checked and God I am so relieved to see the 4 at the start of the four digit number.  Grin
This is now another start to break the new limit. To where it could be we dont know but I am positive it will go the way we want it to as long as we support it. Long live bitcoin!
If theres support then expect prices would really go up high but tendency to decrease down again on its price is always there and just being said above the closure of exchanges hasnt been completed yet which means there still would happen on this month this is why i do sold up my coin when it hit now on 4100 price because i did buy on 3k price which is a secured profit of 1k usd.Not bad afterall.
1582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategic investment on: September 18, 2017, 03:43:27 PM
Hello community,

Like the subject says, Im seeking any kind of advice/tips for a strategic planning investment on altcoins.  I'm a beginner regarding to crypto investments, I've been around for while, however, I started investing only 2 months ago.

So, what I was thinking as a long term strategy could be:

- Each month, invest 250$ into a max of 6 altcoins (250$ for each)

I can only afford 250$, but I guess it is a plausible value to invest. I  like the idea if I can rotate 250$, each month, trough the 6 altcoins that I'm holding in order to increase the amount of coins, and get a higher ROI.

What are your opinions?  Should i diversify more instead of trying to get a higher amount of coins for the alts that Im holding?

Share your toughs with me.

my regards

Just buy and hold. Most altcoins are scam.
If you do invest or putting on new altcoins which isnt really unknown then for sure you are most likely doing suicide since you are just likely throwing your money but not all altcoins are scams specially if you do really know which coin you would decide to invest.Diversifying is always a good thing if you do really know on what you are doing but if not then better not to risk at all.

Still the many altcoins and recently introduced ICO has been provided the profit for the people who have invested on it.

I do understand that altcoin investment is giving the good profit than any one. Even in mining also altcoin is giving more profit than you find in bitcoin mining.

I would say don't look about the new ICO and wait to have a market place value with the gradual profit and invest on it.
Well its your own choice when you can take up the risk on investing either on ICO,Mining,Trading or any other ways on earning bitcoin or money. This is why we do find ways everyday on how to be profitable this is why we do decide to join up ICO as of todays date and continuing.Strategy on how to do it would really depend on ones self as long we do aware on the risk then it should be fine.
1583  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin successfully defeated China on: September 18, 2017, 01:19:39 PM
Bitcoin has pumped back to $4000 and up, without no chinese markets involved, proving that we can survive government bans. I am very confident now in a strong recovery to an ATH. Once we reach ATH in a post-Chinese ban environment, we are going to prove to the world that bans on Bitcoin are useless, so they will either join us or keep getting exposed.

I predict chinese exchanges will eventually be back under regulated licenses, pumping the price even further. Get in now or cry later.
I know what you feel man and as a old member on here and earlier persons who do witness bitcoins development we would really be glad that we did eventually survive this kind of events on which we can able to say that Bitcoin do really have a good support by the community even if its theres some news.It might give some effects but not actually the thing that can shut bitcoin down.We are heading the the moon guys.

1585  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: September 17, 2017, 04:36:53 PM
You can work full time, during the day you are busy outside and work in the Office with a gadget to keep an eye on altcoin trade. When you get home, you take a break and continue your work in front of the monitor. until midnight, I guess it's quite busy. 2 years later you will stop working outside and focus at home. Grin
I worked before while my sideline is this in bitcoin forum but unfortunately i think i am wrong to take my right time management there comes a time i dont finish my campaign so my decision maybe to early to give up my job but i dont have any risk when im doing that cause i am taking to much time now here in crypto currency. And off course in trading but i made some time management too.
I appreciate you, and it is the right choice. it is difficult to divide the time to make you lose focus.
I think the same thing, I should let go of my responsibility outside and sit at home working with full time with crypto.
time management is a major problem for those who have jobs in the real world. when they still have responsibility for the work in the real world but they also have to work online with bitcoin. I get around this by always looking at bitcoin markets in between breaks and holidays. indeed this will greatly affect my vacation time, but I am sure I can get a lot of money and also can make my family happy. so every one we get must have some sacrifice. this is a sacrifice that will not be in vain. we can realize our dreams from the money we earn.
I did really make the same sacrifice on which i do convert all of my time on having a break on weekends or even on vacant times which i do directly focused on engaging on bitcoin world because i do know that i can really make a decent income on here besides on my day stable job.Time management would really be needed if you do really like to succeed on between both things.
1586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How cryptos affect your life? on: September 17, 2017, 12:53:01 PM
I'm always on Blockfolio, twitter, Reddit, and bitcointalk. You can trade 24/7. Cryptos never sleep. I stay up later to read more about cryptos. I spend half of my weekend to catch up on cryptos and research on the latest ICOs. What's your experience.
It does really affect your life specially on your normal daily routine when you are not still involved on cryptos because engaging on them do really needs time for you to search up news and updates regarding on a certain coin at the same time it does affect us also on possible money earning opportunity if we do really serious on trading it.The more experienced and knowledgeable we are the more money we can able to make for sure.
1587  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one is better? Forex or crypto currency trading? on: September 16, 2017, 05:54:12 PM
Hi,

What is your opinion about forex trading vs crypto currency trading?
Which one is better? More profitable ?

Also, there are some bots like GunBot or C.A.T which automate whole trading, but is there any bots for forex?
Is crypto currency and forex trading strategy and method the same?

cryptocurrency is my best choice than forex, forex is full of losses incurred by various unreasonable reasons, cryptocurrency trading is more secure

Forex is actually easier to predict as the volume that comes in from the different markets around the world make it easier to predict for the short term anyways.
When it comes on volatility and price movement prediction i would say that forex is somehow easier but i would say that it wont be easy as it sounds.I have tried forex trading and i would say its complicated since you should really know the patterns, levels, candlesticks reading ,technical analysis all in one.Even though it moves only on small pips every second but would be still a risky thing to lose up money if you dont know what you are doing.

I have sent a payment to two different doubler sites. And one has already emailed me to send more. What can you do to help me retrieve my lost BTC or is just getting information of the person or site that did it. I am curious as .30 BTC may be worth the cost to get it back.
I doubt on how they would gonna trace this stuff. This is why im really bitter on this kind scam retrieval stuff service. A simple 1 step mixing service will surely messed up their investigation even tracking those bitcoins have been hacked from you they cant still do anything to make it back.If its on other wallet you cant do anything about it to get it back.
1589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Where Are My Coins? on: September 16, 2017, 12:51:09 PM
I'm new to ICOs. I've bought into about 8 now and some release the coins right away, others I have to wait until the end of the ICO to get my coins, and ICOs I have to wait several weeks after the end of the ICO to get my coins (so they say).

Can someone please explain why they do that? Why not just give everyone the coins they buy right away, like some ICOs? And why does it take weeks after the end of an ICO to send coins? I don't get it.
It does really work on that way. Some ICO would directly give your coins on the time you do purchase, some may give after the ICO ends and sometimes distribution would happen when it is already on exchanges. It does depend on the owner/dev team on when they would give those tokens therefore theres nothing to be surprised off since things do normally happen on this field.
1590  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: September 16, 2017, 12:02:44 PM
it can't end world poverty since too many countries lack the essential tools to be active in the cryptocurrencies field such as internet/computers/smartphones or even electricity . it can provide some jobs though and that's good enough for now .
Even not focusing on cryptocurrencies even local fiat itself wont able to solve out this global problem.Since the beginning of civilization this problem is always been there as long there are people who do pursue to accumulate money as they can without having the equality then we always end up on here.Poverty itself cant really be solved by Bitcoin it may give some opportunities but only to those who are eager to learn to engage with it.
1591  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - time to buy or sell? on: September 15, 2017, 04:51:15 PM

I wish to have more free cash to buy BTC right now.
Selling?? Am I fool, to listen this greedy guys? No,I'm not

Traders right now must buy a lot of coins because its down time, Ethereum coin price drop's from 304$ to 290$. Maybe newbie traders right now has a dilemma of selling their coin's even at the lowest price. But yes your right if you have enough cash as of now then you will really get more profit.
But maybe you do not know almost traders hold their coin do not have money for buy extra coins for their portfolio. Of course I know that rules, but the fact always make I am helpless before all Embarrassed
Depending on a certain trader if he do have the funds allocated in case on this kind of situation. Some are ready some are not because they are holding on their coins which they cant sell it out because they are on negatives.Actually this kind of situation on where prices are on dips this is really the best time to buy more and more cheaper bitcoins. This is really a great opportunity.
1592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wow everything is down today!! on: September 15, 2017, 04:11:39 PM
What's the deal this time?  First China ICO ban and now what?  It's been a shitty few months for crypto!!  Is there any clear skies in sight or everything is just crashing and burning into the ground!!?

yes what is happening now, one of the causes is the chinese ban. rumors are so intense.
this final decline is so fast. until many people panic, this is a moment to dig bitcoin. I think btc will be pumped back.
Because almost newbie think China have been banned all exchange crypto-currency in their country, do you remember the government have enough power to create that? Of course, it is rumor and will be end soon, but the result usually make us have some loss.
Those regulations have been made would really be temporary for sure.Later on they would decide again to adopt ICO and open exchanges again and the cycle starts again on making money. We do really suffer from loss now which most all of coins in the market dropped down on this recent days but now i do see some recovering on bitcoins price again. Climbing again on 3700.
1593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on Uber on: September 15, 2017, 02:20:19 PM
Meanwhile, bitcoin just got integrated with Uber for tipping drivers. Isn't that a good news?

https://twitter.com/Melt_Dem/status/895466611477544960

Wow this is a great news for uber users and for uber drivers. Here in the philippines most commuters uses uber as there daily commute vehicle because there is no toxic in the roads and mostly they are comfortable than a taxi. This maybe a great idea so that other people know bitcoin and what is bitcoin I mean this is another stepping stone for the philippines to introduce bitcoin in the city.
As far as i know Uber in the Philippines has stopped its service because of some sanctions made by government but well talking about Uber recieving on bitcoin payments then this thing would really be an advantage on those commuters who have known about bitcoin because this thing would really be a big convenience to them theres no need on cash on paying up the fare.
1594  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will control the world economy!!!!! is it true? on: September 15, 2017, 12:41:39 PM
Some media shows that bitcoin can be the next weapon to control the world economy. i think it is true and it will be seen soon.
No it cant. Digital Currency has nothing to do with world economy and even it would be valuable on upcoming years government wont really allow such thing to happen for sure. Its a decentralized thing and theres no way it can be considered to be used globally knowing countries have their own different local fiat currencies and i dont think bitcoin would really be considered to take part of it.
1595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IF ethereum dies... on: September 15, 2017, 11:45:04 AM
Could someone tell me what will happens to those altcoin which base on eth if eth dies?
Lets assume that it would really die then for sure most ICO's would jumped into another platform seeing that most projects as of now are basing on ETH platform which it does really make big contributions on its development this is why its really hard to believe or presumed that ETH would easily die on this way.If its being supported by most project then for sure it wont die.
Indeed, recently other platforms create ICO cannot compete to ICO projects use Ethereum platform. Particular is Waves - one of completior of Ethereum - does not have any projects success (in short time) after crowdsale (can grow price in short term).
For now no strong competition against Etherium besides on Waves but its still young but do have potential. If you do see most coins are eth-base.We wont know if some coins would able to toe-toe with it because we dont know on whats the future and the possible coins or competition that would happen against ETH. Dying as of now is nearly impossible to happen.Even bitcoin can possible be replaced too and ETH is a strong candidate.
1596  Economy / Economics / Re: dropping value on: September 13, 2017, 01:45:37 PM
what's happening in the bitcoin?? Why continue his descent? should we Convert bitcoin in php?? Im worried for this, my bitcoin is still down,
Seems you are a Filipino since you are talking about PHP (PESO) and i do assume that you are using coins.ph wallet and now you are asking if its time to convert to php? I would say it would depend on your need of money. If you are in a rush and do have some priority then cash out it and dont bother on the current price but if you do have still money to spend on better to wait on bitcoins price to recover up and dont tend to convert knowing that spreads on coins.ph is horrible.

1598  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bought my first BTC @ $4600, slightly worried on: September 13, 2017, 09:31:50 AM
Hey guys, new member here Smiley

I've been watching Bitcoin's development since early August this year, and I finally gave in and bought 1 BTC for $4600. I didn't wait because I figured the value could easily break the $5000 barrier at any time, and if the price would suddenly normalize above that level, 1 BTC would be outside my budget.

I probably went OCD on the matter and should've waited instead of having to have 1 full BTC, especially since the ICO-related news from China were still pretty recent.

Anyway: the 2nd wave of news regarding shutdown of local exchanges hit hours after I made the purchace, and the value plummeted (it's now hovering just above $4000, that's a 13% decrease). Lesson learned I guess. I've been lurking on the forums for a couple of months trying to pick up some sound advice from you guys, and from what I've gathered I should stick with holding for 5-10 years instead of panicking. But honestly, it's tough to ride the lows.

Any words of encouragement? Grin I guess I'm not the only one who've had a nervous start in the world of cryptocurrencies. Anyone else feeling like they "need" to acquire 1 BTC before the train leaves the station for good?
You should not worry at all and as you said you are not the only one who do have this kind of emotions or even regrets on purchasing bitcoins price on a high point.Even those experienced people do also commits these mistakes but eventually they dont easily panic since most of them do know that price will eventually recover up later on which we can really tell ourselves not to worry but if those funds if yours are your savings or fund being used for priorities for sure you would really worried too much.
1599  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining on: September 13, 2017, 09:09:43 AM
Hashflare.io just adjusted their contracts. Sha-256 not unlimited any more. Barely economical. Should have invested 500€ directly in cryptos.
Thats a good choice rather than on putting your funds on these cloud mining site.Just as expected they would really already put durations on their contract which means reaching roi after the expiration would really be hard on which you would really be forced up to deposit funds again and again. Theres no unlimited things on this world that would sustain for long specially on cloud mining.
1600  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoin with BTC ? on: September 13, 2017, 03:39:00 AM
is there any other method trade altcoin without BTC?
we should trade altcoin with BTC
Yes you can since there are coins which can be directly to trade with other altcoin or you can see the pair without the involvement of BTC because some of them can be directltt bought by fiat which you wont go directly to bitcoin but the most common way which is happening on here is that people do actively use bitcoin to purchase other altcoins then trade them and once in profits they convert it back to altcoins.
