1581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Living Off-Grid With Bitcoin? on: November 06, 2019, 09:07:08 AM
Is it possible/an advantage to live off-grid with bitcoin?

What I mean by this is living on a rural property, perhaps running a full-node, completely independent from the existing fiat financial system. We want to remove our dependency of the banks and corrupt political establishment entirely.

Obviously, you would need electricity and a computer to run a node and connect to the network. Perhaps bitcoin is not well suited for rural lifestyle or off-grid?

maybe a statement like this is very difficult for those who live in rural areas to achieve cryptocurrency especially because most people who live there may be some of them do not know much about bitcoin and other cryptocurrency because those who live in residential areas are not the same as us who live in urban areas easily have what we want and it's easy to adopt cryptocurrency.
1582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 18,000,000 bitcoins have been mined! on: November 06, 2019, 07:41:44 AM
The 18 millionth bitcoin has been mined so only 3 million left to go! Wink
https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2019/10/19/satoshi-nakaboto-18-million-of-the-21-million-bitcoins-have-now-been-mined
Anthony pompliano posted on twitter when it happened.
https://twitter.com/APompliano/status/1185346573779243008
This is a milestone so do you agree this will pump up the price as we are getting closer to the end of our king of all cryptocurrency blocks being solved? Undecided

maybe I agree with your opinion recently we heard that in Russia will increase the hashrate of their bitcoin mining and some other countries have opened mining companies, maybe we can say that Bitcoin currently does not have more inventory and with such events hopefully bitcoin prices in the future will go up.
1583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price to Asuka will be 8700$ November 2020 on: November 06, 2019, 05:02:20 AM
As you can see, the famous Asuka has missed $16k per 1 Bitcoin in Octber 2019 but it can happen soon , maybe this end of year. However, I just want to point out that her $8750k may not be a typo instead of $ 87500 k because I believe that Bitcoin still has one more impulsive wave which can reach $56k according to asuka next July 2020, then the ABC correction of the whole 5 waves that lasted 11 years sending Bitcoin below $10k or more less. Any thoughts??

to be honest I don't really like it if there are people like that who predict the price of bitcoin will be very high in the future I think consciously it's very impossible because it's just a silly prediction that we know even though they are very smart they certainly aren't always right with what they predict , to make it clearer at the end of this year we see for ourselves whether bitcoin will reach the price they predicted.
1584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and philantropy on: November 06, 2019, 04:10:02 AM
When we're talking about cryptocurrency, we don’t usually discuss philanthropy — donating to charity isn’t something often considered. Most of the talks are all about earning, mining and trading crypto.
That's totally ok, but I believe that cryptocurrency may have some great features that could have a huge impact on charities and charitable giving.

I'd like to ask if you know any charity organizations (verified, of course) that accept BTC as a donation. And if so, which ones? I could only find that list, but it's quite short.

What's your opinion about Bitcoin donations? Did you ever donate your crypto to charity organizations? Why?

previously I only knew of two projects that received charitable donations in the form of bitcoin or other cryptocurrency namely crypto tor and unicef for me they were very noble people because they always made a way to receive charitable donations to be donated to people in need and to daily needs in order to survive, in the future if I have a little money, I will also make a donation so we will help each other.
1585  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fun with Bitcoin (Jokes) on: November 05, 2019, 03:24:40 PM

Please write your own jokes below Smiley

this doesn't seem like a joke because I'm not too entertained with your threads but I appreciate what you write here, I think it's a question that we often hear in some media and I personally first asked my friend to teach me bitcoin also asked questions stupid like that. Friend: Why do you want to learn about bitcoin? me: because my girlfriend invites marriage
1586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: majority of blockchain project has lost focus on: November 05, 2019, 02:27:27 PM
why many of so-called blockchain projects these days are scammers, is this was motive behind the technology? many real investors are not confident to participate due to fake blockchain projects all over the internet.

what are your views

I think some of those who say like that are those who cannot use technology well so they cannot distinguish fraud because now so many people are fooled by projects that falsify blockchain technology to manipulate investors, with this situation we cannot blame technology, I hope we are more vigilant in choosing the current project.
1587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the advantages and disadvantages of BTC/LN and BSV? on: November 05, 2019, 12:42:00 PM
Hello, I'm new here. And I want to learn more about bitcoins, so I have some questions.

1: What are the advantages and disadvantages of BTC/LN and BSV?

2: Do you think BTC/LN and BSV can both survive in the long run, or only one can survive or none of them?

3: What is the goal of BTC in the long future?

4: Is massive adoption a goal for BTC in the long future?

Thanks

bitcoin is the first crypto launched even though bitcoin is having problems with scalability and transaction costs to swell but bitcoin is still the king of cryptocurrency, while LN solves the problem of scalability and high transaction costs operating on the bitcoin blockchain, i think bitcoin will survive in the future while my LN does not can guarantee to advance, because bitcoin is now more and more people want to adopt it.
1588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holiday Season Card with QR code on: November 05, 2019, 08:59:18 AM
Holiday season is just around the corner and I am planning to come up with my own design of card with holiday seasons message and a QR code that they can scan and get Bitcoins as a gift. Its not limited to Holiday seasons only, it maybe used for special occasion too like birthday and weddings. Its a simple way to promote Bitcoin and increase awareness. What do you think guys?

I think you have a lot of storage assets so you are thinking of going on vacation later this year, and what you are talking about QR Codes might not be of interest to us, but I advise you to be very careful when making transactions with bitcoin using third-party QR codes because now their scammers always use things like that to steal our bitcoin.
1589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite project these days? on: November 05, 2019, 05:11:41 AM
What is your favorite project these days?

I think Ethereum it's the best project. haha

There will be projects in various fields,
1. Please tell me your favorite project.
2. Recently, let me know what you think is the best project and what the area of the project is.

in the last few days I also made ethereum as a mainstay project because in my opinion ethereum prices are easy to predict when trading and I have gained a little profit during trading with ethereum, we might be able to take guidance on bitcoin prices maybe if bitcoin prices go up then some other altcoins also going up in price, I think it's simpler than the others.
1590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would an Economy based on BTC look like? on: November 05, 2019, 04:06:53 AM
Just as the title states. How do you guys think  a country with its only economy being BTC look like? Would it look like how western countries are of today, some Cyberpunk future, or maybe just completely mess up? Honestly, I think it'd look something like the current state of western countries, as if the only currency allowed is BTC, then in theory it should always balance out and be flexible.

it is very unlikely that in a country they only use bitcoin for the economy would certainly be a problem for children who have not been able to learn about bitcoin of course they cannot use bitcoin to buy snacks and it might also be uncomfortable for some of them if they want dealing with bitcoin because you have to always use cellular data.
1591  Economy / Exchanges / Re: who is the best btc exchange ? on: November 04, 2019, 03:37:45 PM
need suggestion about best and top btc exchange..

for now if you want to exchange bitcoin or other altcoin, you better use binannce exchange because the asia based exchange currently dominates global exchange and binannce exchange has many differences between other exchanges and it's good if we trade there, if you want to know a lot about binannce you can browse directly on their official site.

in the picture below you can see the daily exchange income.
1592  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Holds Above $9k on: November 04, 2019, 02:25:06 PM
The world’s most profitable company, today announced that it is going public, in what could be the biggest ever IPO. The oil giant, Saudi Aramco, posted an H1 profit of $46.9bn in 2019, compared to Apple’s $21.6bn in the same period. But one imagines that return on investment will still pale into insignificance compared to Bitcoin.

https://bitcoinist.com/sunday-digest-bitcoin-price-holds-usd-9k-other-headlines/

maybe this makes no sense if you want to compare the income owned by bitcoin investments with oil investments because bitcoin and oil companies are very different, we know bitcoin is a digital currency with limited supply, while their oil wells can be obtained whenever they want and there are still many oil wells in the world that can be taken for sale, unlike bitcoin.
1593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto-powered social network a trend? on: November 04, 2019, 01:46:32 PM
I noticed that there are quite a number of crypto-powered social media popping out in recent years. I believe the most successful one is Steemit, which most of us can agreed on. There are also other social network platforms like Appics, Uhive and etc. I am curious to know if anyone of you is willing to switch from the daily social network app like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to crypto-powered social network. And if you could, do share your reasons for doing so.

at this time if for example a social media network was developed with the power of crypto I think it would definitely be very popular among people who use social media because in an age of changing digital technology now many of them are very attractive to benefit via online rather than they play social media all day long without the slightest entrance fee, I hope that in the future Facebook will officially launch libra so that social media fans can benefit.
1594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A rising number of Americans own crypto and nearly 13 million women says study.. on: November 04, 2019, 12:36:40 PM

What do you think?

I am very proud of Americans even though previously the government in their country officially banned the use of bitcoin or other cryptocurrency to invest but that did not make them stop adopting bitcoin, even now more cryptocurrency users in America than last year I hope President Donald Trump to lift the ban cryptocurrency.
1595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkt will partner with Starbucks for Bitcoin on: November 04, 2019, 07:52:28 AM
Bakkt, a New York Stock Exchange-owner backed bitcoin and cryptocurrency venture, announced this week it plans to launch a consumer app for cryptocurrency purchases in 2020.

U.S. coffee chain Starbucks will be its first launch partner, with the company one of the original backers of the crypto project, along with software giant Microsoft and Boston Consulting Group.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/billybambrough/2019/10/31/forget-the-halvingcould-this-be-what-sends-bitcoin-soaring-next-year/#12640c6e3062

actually news like this must be very interesting for cryptocurrency users because now starbucks and microsoft companies that are very well known in the world want to collaborate with bitcoin, it is very possible this will raise the price of the bitcoin market to be higher and my opinion this year is of course the adopters and popularity of bitcoin will grow all over the world with their cooperation like that.
1596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Did China Dominate Bitcoin? on: November 04, 2019, 06:44:38 AM
The Bitcoin whitepaper was released in English, how did the Chinese get sointerested ahead of others that they dominate mining of bitcoin?

we can say that China is one of the most sophisticated countries in the field of digital technology, their government always has the idea of designing technology to advance the country, and in China there are many investors who invest with bitcoin and large mining companies in their countries that are able to dominate computing power ( power hash) from a decent bitcoin network.
1597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any apps on Android for trading cryptocurrency? on: November 04, 2019, 04:51:02 AM
I can see a lot of applications for trading cyrpto-currency on Apple devices. I don’t have any apple devices with me currently, so are any trading platforms that work on Android on the Google Playstore?

You don't need to worry because now in Playstore, there are many applications for digital currency exchanges such as Global Huobi, Blockchain, Binannce, and Kucoin from the list that I mentioned, maybe you will be interested in one of those applications, actually now I am more interesting using the application for the exchange of crypto assets because in my opinion it is more accessible in certain places than through a website.
1598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another day, another Faketoshi on: November 04, 2019, 03:38:46 AM
I wonder why those who don't know much about bitcoin trips always want to manipulate us cryptocurrency users by recognizing themselves as fakesatoshi all this time if we see a lot of people claiming to be Satoshi maybe they just made plans so they are famous and noticed by many people for advance their projects that are being launched.
1599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: See a bitcoin/crypto scam site? Don't just ignore it. Report it. on: November 03, 2019, 03:09:03 PM
This could be through scam promotions on Bitcointalk, Reddit, or any other social media sites, or maybe through Google ads, etc. Instead of just completely ignoring it, spend a few seconds reporting the scam site as to hopefully prevent potential victims from falling for these scams. Even if the difference to be made probably is just minuscule, it could make a difference.

Remember, it only takes a few seconds.

I am very grateful to you OP, because you have made a post about a scam or phishing site in my opinion this scam should be reported immediately so as not to endanger many others or ourselves, for me it is better to lose a little time to report a fake site rather than losing money when browsing pishing sites like that I hope their Google team must immediately block sites that can harm other people.
1600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea discuss the possibility to give crypto a legal status on: November 03, 2019, 12:58:41 PM
Currently, crypto is NOT taxed in korea. If they do this, it most likely WILL be taxed in korea.

Please everyone, for the sake of me, let’s all sign a petition to stop the Korean government from doing this to ME and everyone like me. This will not raise trading volumes on korean exchanges and will only hurt those invested in crypto in korea.

Damn you Korean government! Damn you all to hell....!    Source: http://www.thebchain.co.kr/news/articleView.html?idxno=5981

this news is not interesting for investors and bitcoin users in South Korea if in their country currently have to pay taxes if using bitcoin and other cryptocurrency and in my opinion this is very beneficial for their country and helps economic growth because for bitcoin users who have to pay taxes every month , especially we know that South Korea is currently adopting a lot of bitcoin throughout Asia.
