Memphis started great, after some bad calls by referees and Curry's good performance Warriors tried to close the gap but Grizzlies was the better side at half. I was expecting this performance honestly, Valanciunas played very effective until he got his third foul call, Grizzlies defense was quiet good, Morant and Brooks played okay. Warriors heavily rely on Curry, other players couldn't help much. Steve Kerr find a way or they will end up losing play-off chance second and last time.
They are still down as of now, Curry didn't get enough support and then they have a lot of errors plus Memphis is really doing good defense. So the chances of Warriors are slim, I thought that they are going to explode here, down to 4 minutes now. I'm sure many of us are pretty disappointed if GSW and Curry exited again this year. I am not surprised that the GSW is out this year, since Klay is still out, they have a chance next year, but what will be the result of this year to curry's health, he could have played a normal way since they might not make it and reserve it for next year so that with Klay on the lineup they can compete with the same level, but curry carry the team on his shoulder until the end hat's off, what a battle with Memphis, Ja Morant is really an emerging force, I hope the Grizz can add another all-star. |

I agree with you, Lakers might win this series but Suns here will definitely give the Lakers a tough series. What I saw in the Warriors game convince me to bet against the Lakers in game 1 of the Suns vs Lakers series, I like the Suns here before the Lakers will figure out how to beat them. The Suns will definitely give the Lakers a harder time to win than the Warriors as they are more complete. The backcourt duo of Paul and Booker alone will give Lebron headaches  . But i think the Lakers are ready for them and they will use their size against the Suns so i'm betting them on ML. Have observed that almost all of the favorites won in this play-in so i think betting against it is a bad idea. I heard that this is the first game in NBA history betting where a team coming from 6h position in favorite to beat them team from 2nd position but let's be honest and admit that Lakers were down so much lately just because Ad and Lebron did not play so starting as favorites for bookies it's the right decision. 100% agree at one point lebron and AD were 3-19 from the field Caruso kept them in the game. But in the end they took over. If the Lakers played slightly better in the first half it would have been a much different game. Yeah, Caruso and other teammates were helpful in this match because they didn't let the Warriors have a huge advantage after the first half while Lebron and AD couldn't get the ball into the basket. I was hoping for a LA vs LA though, it will be a great matchup. But in any case, Denver or Phoenix is not that bad either.
We might see an LA vs LA in the western conference Finals if the Lakers will end in rank 7, and they will win in the 1st round and 2nd round. It's a great match up though, but this playoff is quite different in the past, we might see a different team advancing in the WCF and in the ECF.. and that makes it so interesting to watch.
