161  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cardano (ADA) Price, Information and Speculation Discussion Topic on: September 12, 2018, 06:42:53 PM
$5 is somehow a more realistic figure but that depends on the time frame. If we are talking about short term, then I will stick with that. However, we all know that long term, any coin with great potential and development can rise as much as it can, if people are willing to pay the price for it. Based on that, in the next 10 years plus or even less, $100 won't surprise me. This should be in Altcoin speculation by the way.
162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: SEC decision - A decided plan? on: September 11, 2018, 04:29:31 PM
As we know how the market is reacting after the SEC decision. I just wanted to discuss what people feel about this. Is this something planned?

I mean, I am not sure HOW can such major decision can be made like that of delay out of sudden and then getting the market crash. Is this not some sort of planned stuff or what? What do you guys think?

https://www.asiacryptotoday.com/bitcoin-etf-do-we-really-need-it/

Not another thread about SEC.

Why not people stop worrying about the SEC decision? If they are under the control of fiat entity or someone that is powerful to make them delay their decision and playing with our 'emotions', so be it. We shouldn't give so much importance because at the end of the end they will eventually reject it anyway. That's why I always tell that don't get yourself to be emotionally involve otherwise you will just stress yourself waiting for their decision. What you can do is prepare for the worst, and make the necessary adjustments.

Honestly, I really wonder! So much attention has been focused on this whole SEC thing that I feel we create even more issue with it on our own than what it could cause normally.

Whatever is meant to happen will happen with or without any SEC decision. If the price dips, then we buy more and if not, we enjoy the profits. So, I wonder what the whole fuss about SEC is for some people.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Criptocurrency Exchange with the Best Rate on: September 11, 2018, 04:17:03 PM
You said cryptocurrency exchange with the best rate which I want to assume you are referring to fees which you did not even say anything about.
However, you said; "in order to withdraw your income you need to convert your referential balance in dollars into NSD and open a sales order on an Exchange.... In that case how does your own exchange come in? I am not sure, but I think there is something not very clear here and I am still trying to get the value that the whole Nasdacoin project brings in the first place, compared to any other exchange.

Kindly prove me wrong on this, that this is not just going to be an excuse for another shit coin with no viable product in the long run.
164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anybody thinks insiders did not Short before the Goldman Sachs news? on: September 10, 2018, 08:15:05 PM
Who knows? However, it is normal for people to try to connect every market movement with certain news. The market could have had that quick dump for different reasons.

We were approaching a resistance formed by the trend line and we got a reversal from there. It could be coincidence, it could be for any reason, but one thing I know for sure is that this market is still very much bearish and the news are sometimes just an additional catalyst to make the dump faster at times.

I will keep repeating what is more important and that is to buy the dips. Nothing as good as taking advantage of a pretty huge discount if you at least believe in what the future holds. So, whether it is goldman Sach's news or insider short, I really care less.
165  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your greatest trading regret? on: September 10, 2018, 08:04:07 PM
My regret would be same with yours. I got baited with those pump bot and I missed the train when the price were going up for like 500% and I sold my coin not in the right timing, I only got 150% from my initial investment and if I hold it, I would have had better reward.
You should be thankful you at least got some profit from the investment. Usually people get out from a trade as a result of not having a good strategy and the same way they get into a market without a good strategy. That makes it very hard to make decisions without having to deal with emotions.

However, for a 150% gain, I must say it is not bad. One thing I know with market is there will always be a retrace and an opportunity to buy back later on.
166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market Analysis on: September 10, 2018, 06:55:47 PM
As long as market tends to move faster to the downside than going up, it is obvious the bears are still in this market hugely and price rejection at certain resistance is always going to be rapid. We recently erased about 2 weeks gain within few hours. That to me is something!
167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Big mistakes for a beginner in cryptocurrencies ✌ on: September 08, 2018, 06:50:58 AM
The biggest mistake is to believe that you are right and the market is wrong:) this one I think is the biggest disease of all newcomers.
I support your opinion, self-confidence is the biggest mistake in the crypto industry, and not only there.
Self confidence is just an attribute that falls in when you know eat you are doing. In one word, self confidence is the result of great knowledge on something.  So, if the knowledge is not there, you will always take decisions with emotions when it comes to the market.
See it like; you going to perform a surgical operation without any medical knowledge and a specialization in surgical operations. That makes you a quack and you can find that in the trading zone as well for those who refuses to learn.
168  Economy / Economics / Re: If the stocks market will crash again like 2008, what will happen to bitcoin on: September 08, 2018, 06:06:37 AM
Maybe and just maybe with the ETF approval, we might see investors rushing into the market in the case where stocks dives into the horrific zone. For now, there may still be a lot of skepticism when it comes to the crypto market and I am sure other physical assets would be the target in that case. I believe in the long run, this would surely be one other well known spot or safe haven for investors but we ain't there yet.
169  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can decrease economic development on: September 06, 2018, 07:58:03 AM
Do not forget that as time goes on bitcoin would be utilized more as a currency and it is the demand for it as a currency that would create a sustainable value for it. With that being said, any farmer or whosoever is in any profession ends up putting their funds into bitcoin, it is just more like they are diversifying and it is not like they will just simply leave their trade because they have been able to hit some big amount of money, which you should not forget, this can even help them expand, create more jobs, go big in the way they could have dreamed of. No sane person, will just want to rely on one spot for revenue, which is why we have diversification in the dictionary.

So, all these things about decrease in economic development being mentioned by so many people here or farmers and other profession leaving their job for crypto is something that cannot happen in reality.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why exchange want to bank details for kyc??? on: September 05, 2018, 03:45:09 PM
Some exchange? Maybe you should be more specific and list the exchanges you have seen so far that requests for your bank account details. As far as I am concerned and for most reputable exchanges except for local crypto exchanges connected to fiat deposit and withdrawal, you do not require such to complete your KYC verification.
As long as you are using an exchange that is somehow connected directly to fiat deposit and withdrawal, you will definitely be subjected to AML procedures.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: BITMEX TRAIDING on: September 05, 2018, 03:23:57 PM
Google search could have sufficed. This article should give you an understanding what they both stand for.
https://cryptocurrencyfacts.com/maker-vs-taker-cryptocurrency/
In layman's term, when your order isn't filled immediately and becomes a part of the order book, then you are a maker, but if your order is executed immediately based on the current price on the order book, then you are a taker.

Short and long funding - if you feel the market is going to be increasing in value and you buy a position then you are going into a LONG position whereas SHORT position is the other way round.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How good projects should start on: September 04, 2018, 03:09:14 PM
Promotion is something that is actually necessary which is something that can't be discarded if you have a good product and you want to push it out to the investors to get to know what you are all about. One way or the other, by any means preferred to bring good result, I am sure the project will not be able to do without ICO. Airdrops to me sometimes look unnecessary and campaigns are just a good way of promoting the ICO.

However, I have seen projects like capdax that decided not to do so much publicity and even though there was some campaign to push it out there, it was for a short period. It depends on the goal of the team in most cases.
173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots on: September 04, 2018, 02:52:52 PM
Is there really anything to improve in a bot except if you want to improve on your own strategy? Bot is bot and it is just there to do whatever you want it to do based on your strategy which if you have a good one, it is going to execute it without any emotion which is what I believe makes it different from trading directly as human with slight emotions sometimes. For the period of time I used trading bot, I won't say I had any problem but truth be told, there is nothing as good as just doing it yourself.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you think guys of these 3 altcoins ?! on: September 04, 2018, 11:43:53 AM
Where they can be traded? Maybe safer take some well-known projects like FSN, MFT or older coins XRP, ETH, EOS?
One exchange that is common with the three of them is KUCOIN which is not a bad exchange for a start. This is actually a question the Op should not be expecting some tangible answer considering the number of coins and tokens in the market and how you cannot simply know or invest in them all.

What he should be focusing on now is to research on the coins, if there is a product, how well the team looks like they are ready to work as well as their past experiences and the long term prospect of investing in any of them. If he cannot get these questions answered, then he should question himself on whether to go ahead or not.
175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience is the most important thing on: September 03, 2018, 05:47:59 PM
the worst suggestion that you can make to traders is "patience" specially in the altcoin market which is pump and dump. i will tell you the same thing that i told the other dozens of topics in the past 9 months of dumping cryptocurrency market which were telling people to have "patience":

don't become a bag holder of altcoins. you will come to regret it when you look back and you have lost 90%-98% of your investment. that is what happened to all those "patience" topics so far who have been bag holding altcoins that kept on going down because of dumps.
learn how to trade and make better decisions instead of bag holding and wishing for profit.
The OP's idea of patience is actually different from what you are talking about if you check the context, even though what you said makes a lot of sense when it comes to being patient in the crypto market.

Patience can be in two ways; those who cannot be patient enough to wait for their time in entering a profitable market rather than entering an overbought market due to FOMO and losing big time when it retraces and those that end up thinking patience is going to be the solution after buying at the top rather than using a stop loss. It is hard for those without knowledge or strategy to really know how to play the market anyway.

With respect to yours, same principle applies where traders enter a market without a plan and rather than stopping loss, they stick with the patience theory. Any trader should know when to be entering a market, when to be picking profit and when to be stopping loss.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategy for buy and hold on: September 03, 2018, 06:38:32 AM
Im am also a bounty hunter, for me i do not rely on one situation which choose to hold first and sell later. Im just a trader whose looking for the best time of buying or selling. Sometimes hold and sometimes sell after wards. Just be keep updated for what happening. Then decide which you think the best to do
I want to believe this should not only be applicable to just bounty dudes alone and it is for sure the knowledge of trading can really aid any investor to make good decisions at anytime in the market. As long as you are long term investor though, just making sure you have a solid project you are holding as well as being willing to discard all the short term market noises after buying at a desired price based on past market support, then you should be fine.
177  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Up or down from this point? soon 8000 or 6000? on: September 02, 2018, 04:34:03 PM
I think the market has started a bullish trend from its steady move this week. Going back to $6,000 might not be coming back this year. And I think we need to buy in at this moment because we are heading $8,000
I would not say we are heading towards a huge bullish moment at this point until we are able to surpass $8k with a good volume.

For now though, it looks as if the market is actually trying to set out to around this $8k due to how the bulls have been so strong thus far. Nevertheless, we have to understand that the bears are still around the corner.
178  Economy / Economics / Re: Centralized or Decentralized for cryptocurrencies? on: September 01, 2018, 05:27:30 AM
We all know, there are 2 types of cryptocurrency
1st: centralized
2nd: decentralized

The difference between them, centralized cryptocurrency is controlled by a government or a company. It has value only in the specific area under company or government boundaries.
Decentralized cryptocurrency has no connection with any state, government

But, the government of some countries are against Bitcoin and some are ready to adopt Bitcoin. So what would effect on Bitcoin if any government approved Bitcoin as a legal tender?

Could you please inform, is the ETH centralized?
If yes, then are all altcoins (based on Ethereum) centralized too?

A little search on Google would have given you an answer to that, but the answer is no. ETH is decentralized and the likes of ripple is centralized.

No one really like the idea of centralization and since the option of decentralisation came, it even became attractive like something that has been needed utmostly. Decentralisation brings freedom on the way you spend without any format of control or monopoly by some system or government.

So in that case, who would want to give up decentralisation for centralization, except the government herself? Obviously over the years, we all know the negative impact centralization has played globally.
179  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is on Short term up trend? on: September 01, 2018, 04:54:29 AM
No bro, I think 7k$ is highest and now it comeback down again and the price I want to buy BTC is 5k4$
$7k may not necessarily be the highest as the market is still proving strong below $6500 support and probably we will be able to push as high as $7500 towards $8k which seems like the highest we can go to me in the short term anyway. Anything above that apparently changes the sentiment of the bitcoin market to a bullish one, so I guess in time, we will see how the table turns or not.
180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there an App for price alerts, that makes noise when they trigger (an alarm) on: August 30, 2018, 06:24:23 PM
Tabtrader should do the trick for you. I wont say more than that but this is one app that has really been very helpful and has made me discard using my desktop for trading cryptocurrencies. I know it is available on android but not sure about other OS. For what you are looking for most especially, that is what you should be making use of.
