161  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think economical condition can be develop by the help of bitcoin? on: February 12, 2018, 11:27:35 PM
Different people have different opinion but I think bitcoin is new part of  strong currency. We need some help from government or national security for monitoring and providing strong  security for those people who are working into this sector. Even more people are affected by various criminal attack that  reduce  and demotivated to work in online earning.
Now times are changing by the help of different online currency trough which people can earning money and invest these money in different sector for the purpose of getting profit.
In future proper security and more effectiveness of virtual currency  can contribute economical development.

I am not sure to get your point but:

We don't need and we don't want any government or national security for anything with Bitcoin. Bitcoin has been created to give us a freedom from governments and full control of our money, etc. It has not been created to allow the governments to fuck us more.

What kind of security are you hoping for? There are "criminal attacks" without Bitcoin and it doesn't reduce people to work online. Besides this, Bitcoin has not been created to "work online" It's a currency using cryptography, not a job center.

I guess this is where most people are wrong. They mistaken bitcoin as some magical entity which would alleviate poverty and unemployment just because some people are getting money and jobs through it (indirectly). Unfortunately, even with this, poverty will still be present and people will still be unemployed because of the system. Bitcoin won't do anything or solve anything so long as the system isn't changed.
162  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-12]The Head of the Chechen Republic has Decided to Buy Bitcoin on: February 12, 2018, 11:17:03 PM
it will push the price of BTC up anyway Cheesy

CryptoComes.com
Exclusive Blockchain News Journal

How can you be 100% sure that it will push the price of Bitcoin?

I really don't think that this will greatly impact the market. I even don't know that guy was. Sure he is the leader, is he buying with his own money? or money from the government? And he has a official twitter account?  Grin

Another garbage article to begin with. No substance at all, every media outlet is really riding the waves with bitcoin's popularity, but quickly condemns and sensationalize everything negative about it. Double Standard.

In a way, even if I don't also know the person myself, it's good publicity for bitcoin when a public figures claims to buy or investing. Perhaps the people who actually knew him would follow as well and invest like him. This kind of news would show that bitcoin is not a 'scam' nor is it 'fake' because public figures have allocated time and money to invest in this. This is not necessarily good news, nor is it anyway relevant to any of us but this would just give a good image for bitcoin.
163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A strategy for "surviving" in times of crisis on: February 12, 2018, 04:20:15 PM
I will tell you secret strategy - don't buy any "old" tokens that already been traded on exchange, you need only invest in ICO during crisis. The secret is that new tokens (ICO) is not dropping in crisis period, in most cases only old tokens affected by this. So best practice is to invest in new promising projects with whitelists and sell new tokens right after exchange listing.Don't waste money!

Although that new tokens or ICOs have plenty of potential for the future, there is no guarantee that the token will succeed or even become listed in an exchange in the future. Although it's a common mistake to buy coins which are already popular and has accumulated to a high price, it's safer to buy these coins once they drop especially for those who are just new in the cryptocurrency scene. It's going to be hard to choose worthwhile ICOs because there are so many available, and a number of them may be scams.
164  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-12]The 65 Percent Price Dip Has Made ‘Bitcoin Whales’ A lot More BTC on: February 12, 2018, 04:09:06 PM
Well, this make a lot of sense. You own a significant amount of coins and you want to own more. So what do you do? You sell some coins to acquire some fiat, when the price is high and then gradually dump large amounts of coins to trigger a sell-off. The Bitcoin market is full of speculators, so they will be trigger happy to protect their investment.

When the price has dropped low enough, these whales use the fiat they acquired to buy back most of these cheap coins that are sold for a bargain price. This increase their bitcoin holding, because they are buying back cheaper coins. ^lol^

It's just an endless cycle. The rich continues to become even richer because of the power and control at their disposal. They definitely have an upper hand since they can just decide to dump at any time they want and this makes the price to go down. They get to profit when they do this because they get to buy coins at a low price then sell them when the price goes up again. This is unfair for some because they get affected as well by their actions whenever they make a dump.
165  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons for market drop - Panic, you lose! on: February 12, 2018, 03:55:49 PM
...
Seize your chance and buy the dip, have patience and you will be rewarded once Asian money flows back in. Asia is the biggest Bitcoin market.

Yeah... about that - China just announced that they will be blocking access to all the exchanges, local and international. So expect most of Chinese who still hold crypto to dump their holdings.

On top of that, major US banks + other (i.e. Lloyds Banking group, UK) are banning credit card crypto purchases (you can still use debit cards though), as apparently it's too risky for the customers. Weird logic, customers are free to get drunk go into massive debt by spending it all on whores & booze, but they can't buy bitcoins, as the value may drop.

We have yet to see whether these events would affect the price of bitcoin negatively. As for now, the price has been at a slow pace.

Credit card companies must have been alarmed of how bitcoin's price has been in a downward trend and went down significantly a lot as compared to it's price level last December. They're more scared of this volatility then people drowning in debt because debt is something which they recover whereas loss from bitcoin is something that they cannot since it's not within their control.
166  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to overcome fear and doubt in bitcoin? on: February 12, 2018, 03:45:08 PM
First thing you should do is research and study what and how bitcoin works. If you know the ins and outs of bitcoin then you will have a lot of confidence when you're investing. Second is invest what you can afford to lose. Don't go over board and sell all your properties just to invest bitcoin. I know bitcoin is high risk but always remember, the higher the risk, the higher the gain.

If you really knew what you were investing in and see how much it had potential, you wouldn't be too worried of losing investment with the thought in the back of your head that bitcoin will continue to become better and have higher value in the future. Another is to expect that the price will change often and there will be times when the price will go down. You have to be ready for this because most investors get scared when the price drops and they choose to sell right away then regretting it right after.

Ayos yan kaibigan magandang idea yan.

168  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is anyone that held throught 2013 crash worried about the current situation? on: February 11, 2018, 11:24:10 PM
People who invested in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency or maybe even tokens don't understand how it all works and why it works. They don't want to know. They just want to earn some money fast. That's why they always panic.

Most of them must have already exited once the price started to go down and felt like they were losing their money. In futile attempts to at least cut their losses, they must have sold their coins even when the price has been dropping or their investment occured a loss rather than a gain. Not knowing what bitcoin actually is, they mistakenly thought that they would be able to become rich immediately probably after hearing stories of bitcoin millionaires from early adopters. This is a misconception of many.
169  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why Banks are attacking Bitcoin ? on: February 11, 2018, 11:18:37 PM
Their main concern atm is crypto as an instrument for money laundering and tax evasion. So in 2018 we will see more regulations for fiat-crypto gateways (exchanges and the like) to prevent anonymity.I don't think it is under attack. Many banks/governments are still in the state of evaluation.

I think it’s more than just money laundering and tax evasion which concerns them. I think they have noticed that many have profited largely through bitcoin, and this scares them because it is foreign and unfamiliar to them. They can't understand where all the money is coming from since they don't understand what bitcoin is. For them, it is unstable and it's not secure - which is the complete opposite of what banks are. As for now, banks are indifferent towards bitcoin and although they don't attack it directly, they still have an unsure position towards it.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto has gone to shit on: February 11, 2018, 11:11:40 PM
It’s true that there has been numerous scams and something has to be done about this. However, I don’t think another crash would help or do much to solve the scams. There are many more ways to address this problem. People should be educated on scams so that they know how to look out for these schemes. There are still plenty of ICOs with high potential so having a crash may not help. Perhaps if we somehow persecute these scams, the scammers will be discouraged.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we need price crashes and panic selloffs on: February 11, 2018, 11:08:40 PM
We will see such crashes in bitcoin because bitcoin appreciated so much in so little time so it would be healthy to see some correction. Also, there will be traders would be love to lock in some profits. It's totally normal in crypto universe.

It’s normal and healthy to have some correction and I think a lot have expected for there to be a correction since the price got really high last money in just a very short period of time. Unfortunately, some people don't know about this and become victims of panic selling. Some like the price to be always rising and get scared once the price drops even for just a little. Seasoned traders know that the price has to go down every once in a while otherwise this would not be healthy.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin seems dead as a currency. Be welcome to share your thoughts on: February 11, 2018, 11:06:04 PM
I agree that bitcoin is currently dead as a currency, but it doesn't have to be a currency in the first place. It is perfectly fine as a commodity, or an investment method as well. There are countless other coins out there which are very fast and have low transaction fees.

All coins serve different purposes and I'm perfectly fine with bitcoin not being a currency, i.e. a mode of daily payment.

Even though there are other coins out there that are fast and have low transaction fees, they still can’t be used as a currency because of the lack of adoption. They can't be used that much except for trading since not many platforms accept these coins and it's not yet widely used. Once they get adopted, their transaction fees will start to increase as well just like what happened with bitcoin. Bitcoin has other uses aside from being a currency which cannot be realized for now.
173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why almost everybody suggest to hold? on: February 10, 2018, 11:50:26 PM
I think they suggest to hold because they are expecting that it will grow higher and they get some or they can make there investment doubled.
This is also a test of patience but of course there is corresponding consequence. You must be ready for it.

Their confidence in bitcoin makes them believe that they will have high profits in the future. If they believe there to be potential in the coin, then holding it would yield to huge profits in the future. This encourages them to hold btc or even other coins for a long period of time. Also, holding has less risk as compared to short or day trading. If you have the time and patience not to spend or use a coin, then it's best to hold since there is the chance of gaining more profits in the future. There may be chance of losing but in the long run, holding would be worth it just like how it did for the early adopters of BTC.
174  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Singapore will not ban cryptocurrency on: February 10, 2018, 11:47:10 PM

Singapore's Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam said the country's government will "not ban" cryptocurrency.
In Asia, Japan and Singapore are the best markets for cryptocurrency and blockchain in recent years. In China, Vietnam, Indonesia banned bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market, Singapore was very active in developing Blockchain and cryptocurrency markets.

Good to hear countries embracing the benefits of blockchain technology but I believe China's ban of bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies is just a rumor and sounds so manipulative to me. I don't think countries like China will ignore the benefit of blockchain technology, as what the recent news says they are very much interested to it and willing to work with other countries to develop a good blockchain project.

Even though I haven’t verified, I believe the ban would be something that China would likely do. China has already banned Google and you would need to use a VPN in order to access it. Their internet is very filtered and censored so it goes to show how controlling their administration it. I don't see China as a country that is open to foreign and unfamiliar things and although that blockchain technology should benefit them, I think that they would rather not deal with it since it may pose some 'threat' to their country as they have little to no control over it.
175  Economy / Economics / Re: We need to do something about all the scams on: February 10, 2018, 11:44:23 PM
Scams have discouraged the use of crypto for others, not only individuals but nations as well. Because there has been a number of people who have fallen victims of scams and this has made them want to regulate or even ban the use of bitcoin or crypto in their country. The problem with scams is that there are still many who fall for this because they lack knowledge of the nature of these scams. People need to learn how to watch out for the red flags so that they themselves will know how to avoid them.
176  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the market turn and start growing again? on: February 09, 2018, 12:31:49 AM
As soon as everyone starts shouting about the lowly in one voice and the collapse of the exchanges, then the market will unfold. This will say that those who used to shop earlier started selling the crypt. At this time, large players will buy crypto currency from nervous people, and when bought up, news agencies and TV will begin to generate a positive background for crypto-instruments. A new rally will begin without those who left the concert.

I like the idea you are talking about like comparing cryptocurrency to a concert where the main performer is just starting the show and some of the audiences start to go away and miss the chance of enjoying the show. Like today where USA announced that they will support cryptocurrency and because of that prices at the market start to rise back up.

Very much like a concert, people will only start to flock once the performers become famous. Regardless sometimes whether they are good or not, people will still come to see even without actually hearing about them. Or perhaps even if they have only heard one popular song, they would still go to the concert even if they don't know their other songs. Just like in crypto, people only know about bitcoin but still decided to invest on it. There are many other 'crypto-instruments' that will play however people only came to hear about bitcoin.

Hi guys. I'll be willing to accept payments in btc ot php thru coins.ph.
Nice idea para sa mga gustong kumita, ang kaso magiging tamad lalo ang mga mag aavail niyan since may kakayahan silang mag bayad. Pero okay lang din naman kasi buhay naman nila yon. Ako willing ako... to join your side of the coin (yung babayaran) para gumawa ng schoolworks  Grin

Salamat bro, willing din naman ako makipag-partner up with you. Di ko naman po pinopromote ang pagiging tamad, baka po kasi yung ibang students diyan maraming ginagawa, tambak ang acads o kaya sadyang nahihirapan lang din gumawa ng papel kaya tulong tulong nalang din.

180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Today's news: Chinese gov restricts Crypto again... on: February 06, 2018, 03:57:03 PM
Seems like another FUD coupled with the numerous FUDs that have been popping up lately. Just recently, we've heard about the ban of Facebook promotions and it seems like China has followed suit to this. Either way, China has known to be not very bitcoin or crypto-friendly so it doesn't make much of a difference. China has already made numerous attempts in the past to have control over the growing number of crypto usage in their country and apparently continue to do so.
