This is so far the most successful airdrop campaign of the past year. And from the next week the weekly quantity of airdropped onions should increase further!
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Jesus Coin will be Nr 1 by the end of the year on: February 16, 2018, 09:32:41 AM
What I am trying to understand is if the dev is still involved with the coin. On the exchange it looks like a dead coin which bagholders are trying to get rid of. No mention of Jesus Coin on coinmarketcap. I have asked here which is total supply of the coin and nobody has answered. Given these circumstances, I guess the OP is from a bagholder anxious to unload his worthless coins to the public.
But I agree its whitepaper can make your day - it made mine too.

If I remember correctly, total circulating supply is around 20B. It was mentioned in the Telegram channel. Developers are not really active on this forum.

I see. 20B in fact is an obvious amount scale for the jokecoin, but it becomes slightly unpractical when you then have your coin listed on an exchange.
163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TODAY IS THE BIGGEST HIGHEST BULLISH VOLUME IN THE HISTORY OF THE BTC on: February 09, 2018, 12:03:57 PM
You could be right. But I am still afraid of bulltraps and that the price could make one more dive in the 6000K range to form a double bottom. Time will tell I guess, rather soon.
164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price bubbled? on: February 09, 2018, 12:00:46 PM
It guess it was and it has now popped Cheesy Jokes apart, the huge rise of December was quite bubblish - it happened to fast. The issue with bubbles that everything in finance now seems to be a bubble, including FIAT money, stock markets and especially derivatives markets - so compared to bigger bubbles, Bitcoin is possibly still the less bubblish asset out there.
165  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for those who are in a minus and a loss. DON'T SELL! on: February 09, 2018, 11:51:44 AM
I agree. The only people who have some reason to consider selling are those who are in the plus, having bought their BTCs when they were really cheap. Perhaps they like some profit taking even at reduced rates from ATH. But people who are in a minus should hold until they will be in a plus again - that's the only way not to lose money. But it may take time - patience is required.
166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: thought on Tether? on: February 09, 2018, 11:47:50 AM
Most of the users here already explained that tether is not suppose to grow in value, since it was created to represent the dollar. So 1 tether, should also be equivalent to 1 dollar, no matter what is happening to the market. I will only add that there was a lot of controversy regarding tether, claiming that they did not hold enough dollars to support it's marketcap. This would mean that they might have been "printing" tether to be able to hide any possible losses, and if all the current tether users decided to cash out, they wouldn't be able to do it, because there was not enough money there to make the payments.

Users were asking for an audit, but I haven't heard any recent news saying that those issues were solved. Have anyone here heard anything else about this?

I have only heard that it still has not been solved - which is bad. The reliability of Tether must be established ASAP.
As for this thread, it is amazing to see how many people seem to be dealing with and possibly trading cryptocurrencies they have no clues about.
167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: NordFX: Trade Bitcoin & More with Leverage 1:1000! on: February 09, 2018, 11:40:38 AM
You cannot usually even find 1:1000 leverage in Forex, where the market is so much milder than in cryptos, and there is a reason for that. With 1:1000 your capital will simply vanish at the first oscillation of the price in the wrong direction.

Trading 1:1000 is a sure fire way to go broke. You have to predict the bottom with certainty every time, if you are even slightly wrong then you're broke. Anyone doing this needs to have their head examined.
But u can the same way become rich right? Buy now btc and sell in a hour after correction. Using bollinger bands for 5 min trading it is more then possible to make thousends of dollars in a second

This really becomes like entering a casino and bet at the roulette on red or black - 50% chances you lose your money. Remember that you need only a 0.1% movement of the price below your entry point to lose ALL your capital. If this oscillation happens right in the moment your order gets filled, and this totally beyond your control, you are done and your can leave the casino at once.

Let me give you a very simple example:
The minimum lot is 0.01. In order to open such a position with a leverage of 1:1, the trader needs a Deposit of $1000. (In reality, of course, you still need to consider the spread).
With leverage 1:1000 he's going to need... only $ 1. And $999 will be in reserve in case the price goes against its position. In this case, even using the notorious martingale with doubling of unprofitable positions, the trader has much more chances to get out of drawdown.

In case the position was opened correctly, the profit will be the same there and there.

Therefore, leverage is just a tool, and how to use it depends solely on the trader himself, his caution and his financial appetites.

Well, if the minimum lot is 0.01 and you'd need 1000$ to open a 1:1 position then of course it all makes a sense. I was unaware of that limit, since most cryptocurrencies exchanges don't have limits when you buy or sell coins - but of course if this exchange is resembling forex brokers where you can also short the market, then is suddenly makes sense. So you can short coins on the platform?

I preciate P2PSF support team, they have fast response and send email for me when they have any update Smiley. It's better if we can using P2PSF platform asap.
I cant realy say anything to this project but WOW. It has gained the trust of everyone most especialy investors.
amazing hope this can be the best for the community. hopefully the best for this project. good luck.
Yeah, as their platforms stated that they are different from other competitors because they have the lowest entry point in the P2P investment market. Hopefully this project will overcome all the different obstacle as this project still in progress which I believe this is a good one.

The P2PS project is really looking like an outstanding one and the quantity of positive press coverage is truly impressive. The website however is going offline now and then, 5 minutes ago I've got this message "Error establishing a database connection" - too much traffic?
Yea perhaps there is much traffic on the site as even i am facing some problems accessing the site. Hope the developers solve the problem soon so that we can soon access the site. Also hope this project goes successfull ahead as it is potential of it.

I guess that much traffic on their website is the good symptom of a lot of interest for the project. So the website having problems in dealing with so much traffic would paradoxically be good news, because it would prove there is much traffic on the site Smiley

The next airfrop will count almost 1000 members guys !!
The community is growing a way faster then expected.
Happy to be part of it ? invite your friends...

Yes, but it should be the last 250k airdrop. Next airdrop will be 300k. Very nice and well structured. Keep Up.

Higher rewards coming for the holders, starting from next week. Not too bad. We could witness another nice price increase next week.

is the 300k tomorrow?? or not till next week.

If I remember correctly, it should increase in tomorrows airdrop. The airdrop number 30  Smiley
Guys, I think it starts from week 31 so it should be next week's airdrop. I just remember the number 31 as the first one for this. And it makes sense because 31-40 weeks are the last 10 weeks.

Yes, and judging from the amount of coins received in this airdrop I would sat the increase will be starting from next week only. The distribution of this week is very similar to the one of last week.

Any news about the project of making the process of node-setting more easy to achieve for everybody - and not just for computer freaks and nerds?
If you need help we can help you on discord channel. This technology is very complicated, and it is not easy to be simplified, requires minimal knowledge in linux, linux is recognized as most secure sistem. We will work on usability but we must ask for patience in this case.

Yes, the problem is that at the moment I have only a windows PC available for that. I had read that it was possible also on Windows but I didn't really find a way.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Pre-ICO] Sphere - Decentralized Social Networking >200,000 users on: February 08, 2018, 07:00:29 PM
Unfortunately we are still in the stage of persecution and defamation, for sure we will have better days, and those who are pursuing today will surrender to Crypto and everything related. Sphere is a step further and will have its large share in this process

if sphere can get at least 1M active users and open ads platform, it will great. sphere can fight with big platform subh as fb and twitter

they will have 1m in zero time

One million users is not a joke - and I guess you have to address also people who are outside the crypto space, which requires an entirely different marketing approach - not to speak about financial means.

Why is nobody speaking about the sequel of the blockbuster "Turn $10,000 into 1 Million" which has a slightly different title, more appropriated for this beginning of 2018: "Turn 1 Million into $10,000 "?
178  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: February 08, 2018, 05:39:49 PM
I still prefer to keep some of my capital in gold, somewhere around 30%. And before the appearance of bitcoin in my life, all my money was invested in gold. But bitcoin seems to me more promising in the sense that you can earn on it faster, unlike gold.

I was used to keep 90% of my assets in gold, 5% in cash and 5% in Cryptocurrencies.
What has now happened is that my 5% of cryptocurrencies have become 90% of my assets just because of the 2017 crazy bull run. This has been quite confusing...
179  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: EOS and ADA, Or is there another option? on: February 08, 2018, 05:29:44 PM
EOS and ADA both are great coins but market is like an ocean , all of the altcoins are in a surface of bitcoin ocean , no matter how good project it has or a great them they are , they go down if the ocean goes , as you can see in these days almost none of them survived , neither EOS or ADA , so you should know that it a good idea that always keep at least 50% of your assets in bitcoin , like i do and many others , bitcoin is like digital gold , i don't take too much risk , and would rather to be an average gainer than a great loser!
there are a lot of good coins with great projects , the important is that don't have prejudice on some special coin or some special team ,  logic is more important than emotion in trading , last thing is that you can't make ur losses zero and never try to make it zero, but you can decrease it , it is very important.
best of luck and wishes!

You are right. I came to your same conclusion months ago when I was having just altcoins, which were staying low while Bitcoin was mooning. Luckily, then speculation came also to altcoins so I could sell some and get a fair number of BTC which now I'm keeping. As for EOS and ADA I have none but I am waiting for some serious dip to buy some. I have also decided that better lose a business opportunity by not buying a good coin after as serious rise in price than risking to lose a lot of money if it gets dumped. So I'm now only buying dips, if there are any.
