161  Economy / Economics / Re: Perfect example of why governments must hold Bitcoin on: February 01, 2019, 05:54:20 PM
Other dictators around the world will look at that and start dumping their assets for bitcoin instead. This could cause a domino effect where bitcoin is the safe haven for all corrupt officials and a new pump begins
162  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices will continue to fall on: February 01, 2019, 05:50:46 PM
It could have gone that way due to trumps trade war and the government shutdown. However, dow jones has just started to pump so investor confidence is back. Generally speaking, crypto follows the stock exchanges so i'd say a reversal is coming soon
163  Economy / Economics / Re: Romania has approved a 10% tax on profits from cryptocurrency trading on: February 01, 2019, 05:47:14 PM
These guys are smart, anyone who nuys now is going to make massive gains in the next two years from the bitcoin halving and etfs. If they don't tax it, they will miss out on millions in capital gains
164  Economy / Economics / Re: Exchange B coin on paypal USD on: January 27, 2019, 09:55:25 PM
I have experienced things like that, but in SUMOCOIN coins, at that time the price offered on 1 sumokoin was equivalent to $ 3000, because I was interested in depositing around 100 sumocoin but when I tried to sell, my order was not executed, and when I tried withdrawal can't be done, maybe the exchange is a scam just want to take advantage of it, I suggest to be careful not to be easily tempted by a high price bid when selling our assets but having different prices elsewhere this could be an indication of a scam.

There was never a time when sumokoin was worth $3000 so not sure where that information came from. Perhaps you mean $3 each and you had 1000 sumokoins, then it was worth that much!
165  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold Bull Starting: It's Bigger and Better Than Last Time on: January 27, 2019, 09:52:49 PM
Gold rose back then because there was no knowledge of crypto. Now that people are familiar with bitcoin and there are easier methods to acquire some i.e. coinbase, binance, gemini, it is likely that bitcoin rather than gold will pump
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending bitcoins on a car. Car depreciate while Bitcoin appreciates. on: January 27, 2019, 09:49:26 PM
Bitcoins are designed to be used for buying stuff rather than a speculative form of investment. If someone is able to buy a car using bitcoins then he or she has done what satoshi has created it for
167  Economy / Economics / Re: More Countries Continue To Show Support For Blockchain Technology on: January 27, 2019, 09:46:04 PM
They should do more than reduce tax. Their people are loving crypto currencies but their creations haven't exactly set the world alight. ICON was ok, but still trailing behind NEO and other projects. They are basically playing catchup
168  Economy / Economics / Re: China says rejecting physical cash is illegal amid e-payments popularity on: January 25, 2019, 09:37:58 PM
They prefer wechat pay because it is a lot quicker and safer as they don't need to carry cash around. If these companies were to integrate crypto currencies into their payment options then bitoin will skyrocket like an SEC EFT.
169  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Exhanges - South Korea on: January 25, 2019, 09:32:54 PM
These executives are a disgrace to crypto. They are just like the scammers but they do it in the public eye. They should now bow and apologise to us all for behaving like the horrible bankers that we are trying to get away from
170  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Amazon accept crypto if Bitcoin skyrocket again? on: January 25, 2019, 09:26:29 PM
Bezos is already the richest man in the world, there i no need for him to change anything. People make extreme changes when there is a need to compete with other companies. However, amazon is already the top dog so they won't take bitcoin unless that changes
171  Economy / Economics / Re: EU fines Mastercard more than half a billion euros on: January 25, 2019, 09:02:26 PM
These things happen when payments are done hidden in the offices of banks. Bitcoin payments are open, and if the public wallets are known then it will all be even more transparent to the people.
172  Economy / Economics / Re: How can Bitcoin reduce global economic inequality? on: January 25, 2019, 08:53:08 PM
Quote
7. A hedge against Hyperinflation. <Protect your wealth from your countries/governments bad decisions>

This is the number one reason why bitcoin will help global inequality. The only way they can scam and embezzle their people is by using taxes to buy bitcoin, but that will all be on the public ledger.

8. Governments / banks can't close your account and take your money (like they did in india)
173  Economy / Economics / Re: A Public Market is Turning 'Cashless' in the Philippines on: January 25, 2019, 08:41:21 PM
China is using wechat pay as a form of cashless payments in the market. However the leader of the Philippines is favourable to crypto so hopefully they will do something similar but with bitcoin instead
174  Economy / Economics / Re: Recession effects on Crypto: How to plan your investment portfolio on: January 23, 2019, 07:51:10 PM
It's anyone's guess right now as to which coins will pump. Is it dapps based platforms, or privacy coins, or ripple? Best option for now is to diversify with coins in each category as well as bitcoin
175  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: January 23, 2019, 07:47:42 PM
I learned the importance of buying when there is fear and panic in the markets, hence i am buying now. What i need to learn is when to sell or switch to tether, this is a more difficult lesson
176  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Exhanges - South Korea on: January 23, 2019, 07:43:46 PM
Any exchange that claims to have more trading volume than binance is manipulating the data. If new ones suddenly jump up the cmc charts they are also faking it. Now others know the penalty
177  Economy / Economics / Re: Do internet blackouts highlight a potentially fatal flaw in cashless societies on: January 23, 2019, 07:40:26 PM
That is why gold is always needed. If the local currency is crap, and the internet is flaky, people can always turn to gold. Bitcoin has it's weakness and that is reliance on the internet
178  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can less the unemployment rate? on: January 23, 2019, 07:36:42 PM
It can certainly happen in less developed countries where the local economy has superinflation and a worthless fiat currency. People there will only work for US dollars or bitcoin
179  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain study finds 0.00% success rate in 43 cases on: January 23, 2019, 07:33:52 PM
Considering the number of useless icos and shitcoins out there i am surprised it is only 43. I guess the other crap projects have marginal use as 1 person might use it as a case study
180  Economy / Economics / Re: First Bitcoin ATM in Venezuela on: January 20, 2019, 09:13:48 PM
I bet that the queue to use these bitcoin ATM machines is going to be longer than the queue on the bridge going to colombia! Great that they are doing this, looks like venezuela is moving to be the first crypto country
