161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin About to go Big on: February 20, 2018, 07:13:50 AM

Litecoin outdid all major cryptocurrencies as at Feb 14 2018, Could this be an indication of better things in terms of value are about to follow?

Just one word: Litepay!!!

https://www.litepay.us/

Yeah this is pretty huge. I am mad at myself because I held more LTC in my portfolio than anything else a little while ago and for some reason decided to sell when it shot up from $50 to $200. Yeah, I made a decent profit, but I used that money to buy coins that have performed much worse in recent weeks. Now to sell what I bought and convert it back to ltc would cause me a massive loss. Ugh. I am learning but it is painful.

LTC is a great coin - it's Bitcoin's little brother.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Millioner Portfolio for year 2018. now invest on: February 20, 2018, 07:09:18 AM
I researched these coins for long time. here the list. if you invest 1000$ each, when again peak comes, at least you can get 65000$.

**Do your own research also**

  • Nano
    sia

    UTRUST
    TRX
    ADA

BTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC

I definitely don't agree with most of this.

ADA is always solid and TRX seems promising now with the news recently.
Loopring is strong and I have always liked it.

I would suggest looking into CRPT, Copytrack, and Sirin Labs. Those 3 are all at a substantial discount right now and will most likely all 5x - 10x by the end of the year.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Western Union is testing Ripple for money transfers! on: February 20, 2018, 06:58:08 AM
I knew of this over a month ago. I wanted to buy Ripple when it was around $.60 too during the recent crash, but for some reason I just kept avoiding pulling the trigger. Now, like an idiot, I regret not doing it. I have made quite a few mistakes like this in the last 2 months, but I guess it is part of the learning curve. Crypto is difficult to figure out especially with the crash.

I still think XRP at $1 is a good deal, but I would wait until it drops below $.75 to think about investing again.

 Undecided
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommendations for Under 1$ Coins on: February 20, 2018, 06:55:34 AM
It is worth to pay attention on such coins, like Zilliqa (Platform) and SingularityNET (AI), which was not pumped yet and has a huge potential in near future.

Oh and SingularityNET is AGI not AI. Just a heads up.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommendations for Under 1$ Coins on: February 20, 2018, 06:54:36 AM
I would like to invest 2000$ for alt coins under 1$ , my suggestions are these please guide me

Bluzelle
Power Ledger
Request Network
Substram

give your opinions on this and your suggestions?

There are some very good coins you can get for under $1 now. The difference between a $.90 coin and a $.01 one are huge in terms of what you can buy if you are on a limited budget. I would suggest going for coins/tokens under $.25 if you only have between $100 and $1000 to invest at first. Anyways, here are some good coins for under $.25

WPR - $.15
BTW - $.16
REBL - $.07
COB - $.23

For over $.50 buy CRPT right now. Is is a great project with a ton of potential and their current price of $.60 makes for a great investment opportunity - it will probably hit $2 by June at the latest.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Rewards: Sell immediately or HODL? on: February 20, 2018, 06:49:45 AM
I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

## If this post has been thought provoking for you, I'd really appreciate a bit of Merit in return ##

Actually learned a ton about this over the last 2 months from personal experience. I can tell you that the best thing to do without getting very technical is to SELL. The market usually corrects itself after an ICO and the bounty participants dump as well as the whales for a quick profit. You can easily rebuy at this point and get them at a bigger discount from the ICO price if you really want to invest in the project. By selling right away you avoid the correction and then can use your eth to buy back in when the tokens crash. Trust me, this is definitely the way to do it and save a ton of money and effort.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT RESOURCES DO YOU GUYS USE WHEN LOOKING FOR ICOS on: February 20, 2018, 06:44:49 AM
HEY EVERYONE NEW TO THE ICO INVESTING SIDE OF CRYPTO SO JUST WANTED SOME ADVICE AS TO WHERE TO FIRST START LOOKING FOR NEW ICOS
ALSO WHAT ARE SOME RESOURCES YOU USE TO RATE ICOS HELPPPPPPPPPPP

If you're trying to look for ICO here in the forum, you can try to look in the ANN Thread of the forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0
Almost all active ICO nowadays is posted there, but of course, you need to open each thread to know if they are still active or already finish.
You can also try looking at this sites
https://icotracker.net/
https://www.icoalert.com/

These are good sites and I use a few others as well. Try these:

168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polymath blowing up!! on: February 20, 2018, 06:41:30 AM
Yeah this sucks. I sold all mine the day of airdrop for .465 eth which was still quite a lot for 250 POLY. Now though, I am wishing I held on to them and just forgot about them. I can see POLY easily hitting $2 by the end of march if not higher. Ugh - I guess you live and learn and some things are learned the hard way. I am learning a lot the last 2 months and some things are expensive lol. Still though, half an ETH for 250 the day of airdrop isn't terrible.

Glad I didn't unload them during the crash when they were around $.6 because I would be really pissed off.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Never miss a good ICO bounty again on: February 20, 2018, 06:39:06 AM
Bounties are better when they are not over saturated. I have come to realize that there are a few factors which are absolutely key to how much you will make from a bounty..

1. The quality of the project and team
2. The hype surrounding the ICO
3. The total supply of tokens vs. the supply allocated for the bounty
4. HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE DOING THE BOUNTY

Bountyhive's campaigns are totally crammed with people. Considering the amount of tokens allocated for those bounties the payout is very small compared to bounties here. I use bountyhive, but I would not suggest making it your primary place to go for new bounties to join. This forum is and will always be the best for that.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth founder says crypto could go to zero anytime on: February 20, 2018, 06:35:57 AM
Yeah and so could anything else - including the US dollar and price of Gold. Things attain value form their demand from the market and their supply. Many cryptocurrencies have no real utility and SHOULD be worth practically nothing. Others are very innovative and help make the world a better place because of their technology. I think this year we will see a massive separation between "good" tokens/coins and "bad" ones.

Eth is only going to keep rising. BTC will too.

Ok so I added the token and instantly received the 276 (not sure how this works but it did). I only have one address so can I send the tokens to myself or will that not work? Also, why would I want to send them somewhere when they are already in my address? Do you want to see a TX with them in it to reward us for a TX with them?

This is cool but difficult to understand what is going on here. Thanks!

175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Managing and organizing your bounties when you do over a dozen at the same time. on: February 18, 2018, 03:53:55 AM
Hello all. I currently participate in over 20 bounties at a time. It is actually becoming very difficult to keep track of my daily work even when using a custom spreadsheet.

I was wondering - is there any software or apps that allow for management of all our bounty campaigns at once? I looked but obviously couldn't find anything. If there isn't this would be a huge product/service to create for this niche. Something like that could help a lot of people and make a lot of money.

Also - does anyone have a spreadsheet they made for this purpose that they find to be extremely helpful? My spreadsheet is good but it could certainly be better. I just can't seem to figure out the best way to set it up so I can do my work quickly and efficiently.

Thanks!

There may not be a way to do this any better than you already are.  I'm having problems with just one bounty lol.

Maybe separate the bounties into types and see if any of the actions you perform can be applied to more than just one.  For example, if you have to retweet something do the same action for all programs instead of picking a program and then doing the actions.

I figured out a great way to do it. So I set up a spreadsheet with the main tab being an overview of all bounties. Then I set up separate tabs for each type of bounty almost like a spreadsheet ICOs have for their bounty campaigns. I used a modified recording system which allows me to quickly see which campaigns are done for the week, how many tweets, shares, etc.. I have left for each to be done for the current week, and a direct link to recording forms. Obviously the sheets have more info, but if you're setting this up you may want to make sure the info I just listed is set up the best for your own ease of use.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Airdrop] Nevra (XEV) - Equality, Freedom, Trust on: February 17, 2018, 12:59:59 PM
This is very interesting. I like the the idea of starting this coin off by building the community as the foundation and then everything around it. I feel like these are the types of projects that can become something innovative and amazing, not just profitable. When you get a solid community behind a project anything is possible.

I went to college in Boston for marketing and management. I also have over a decade of Web design and graphic design experience. I am a pretty solid Internet marketing manager with some extensive offline marketing skills as well. I've developed many brands and products over the years and have also managed dozens of high level projects. Over the last couple years i was even Webmaster status for the US Army Special Forces 8th and 19th groups. I was a lead consultant for Solidworks about 7 years ago, managing the development of 56 million international accounts. I am interested in possibly helping to market this with some of my extra time. I could set up all the social media accounts and deal with those, as well as create some strong marketing campaigns. I'm game to help wherever I could.

I currently live in Las Vegas and that could be helpful if we ever wanted to meet up. Let me know what to do from this point forward. Please send a PM.

Thanks,
Anthony
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] ArcBlock - BORN FOR BLOCKCHAIN 3.0 [END] on: February 17, 2018, 05:34:59 AM
Um why did I get 0 stakes for all my work? it shows 0-->40 on each stake tally yet if that is pointing to characters IT IS WRONG. Have a count on every single post - they are all 40 characters or more. This is ridiculous for this size of a campaign to have as many issues as I have had with this one campaign. No stakes given week after week and now at the end the sheet gets switched. Unbelievable.

Hello everybody !!!!

I would like to ask is someoane found some interesting ICO what will start in March .

I found 2 interesting ICO and i want to hear yours opinion about this two .

1. https://mark.space

2. https://ico.theworldnews.net/

3. https://www.helbiz.com/

Kind Regards in advance

I like mark.space, but since I am a US citizen I can't participate. I realize I could use a VPN and trick their system to allow my Ip address, I am however concerned that by doing this you open yourself up for an eventual lock up from an ICO wallet where they lock your ICO purchased tokens and do not refund the eth spent since you broke their Terms and Conditions.
