Doublespending was never an issue for us as of today, but we try to stay on top of things and would not recommend the average service to do the same. These things are proprietary, though, so we can't talk about. |

My I ask why you guys are not using the blockchain api so you would not need to wait a week this time or next time this happens for the wallet to resync?
Because the blockchain API is everything but reliable. But most important, try to pull >1 million tx from their API for the fun... LB is at quite a different scale than what most people are used to... In fact probably unique together with satoshidice. Anyway, solutions that seem easy on your desktop computer with your personal wallet are a no-go for us It's no big deal if you know how to deal with bitcoin at this large scale. Good news is, we know how, and we're making LB even better than it was before. |

We could probably come back online at this point, but we don't feel it would be the right thing to do as some serious stuff still require work. Update #2 from administration: First of all thanks for all the kind messages, it means a lot to us!
We found the issue and also how to fix it, so the good news is that there is almost no uncertainty on how to bring LB back and running damn full steam. The bad news though, is that it will take some time. At the moment, our most reasonable estimation is to be ready on Sunday evening. We will keep updating you on how things are going in the meantime.
Be assured we do our best to be back asap and then up to your expectations in the future.

Update from administration: We have technical issues with our bitcoin node(s), at a low layer. We're working hard on it.
At the moment we don't have a precise ETA, but our current goal is to be back online full steam tomorrow.
