161  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening: U.S. Regulators Subpoena Crypto Exchange Bitfinex, Tether on: January 30, 2018, 10:01:24 PM
The reason for todays (and the, quite possibly, longer term) crypto depression might very well be this:

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-01-30/crypto-exchange-bitfinex-tether-said-to-get-subpoenaed-by-cftc

This is why I'm never using Tether or Bitfinex. And CFTC may just confirm what we all are afraid of, that USDT is overrated and not backed by real USD. It will hit crypto's, but we will exit it stronger and without USDT.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherbots: Decentralised Robot Wars on Ethereum on: January 30, 2018, 09:56:17 PM
How is randomness defined in this game?

There is a Github contract, you could look there.

https://github.com/EtherBots

@OP, why I'm getting Huh / 3900  R O B O T S   S O L D under all browsers?
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2 Ethereum or 15 NEO for long term on: January 30, 2018, 09:50:20 PM
I want to invest in Ethereum or NEO for next two years, need $15k

Is is better to hold 2 Ethereum or 15 NEO till 2020?

IMO, NEO can reach $1000 easily this year but its hard for Ethereum to reach $10k till 2020.

What do you suggest?

Split it. Both ETH and NEO will grow a lot in next 1-2-3 years.

But if you are just after biggest USD profit, then 15 NEO.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ripple comes to 2 dollar by end of Feb 2018 on: January 30, 2018, 07:01:18 PM
Will Ripple comes to 2 dollar by end of Feb 2018? Please give us your comments and analysis.

With current declining situation, I think it's more possible to see it under $1 instead of $2.

There are too many speculations about Ripple and it's already pumped.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Edgeless vs Ethbet vs Etheroll vs Funfair. on: January 30, 2018, 06:30:55 PM
Edgeless vs Ethbet vs Etheroll vs Funfair.

Which of these looks like it will make it (raise in value) and why?

I have from all 4, because I love gambling ICO's and projects. They are winners on long run.
From your list, Edgeless have biggest potential.

I would add Wagerr, Firelotto and Trueflip.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you guys think of the new PRL news update? on: January 29, 2018, 11:40:44 PM

Indeed it's interesting and they are planning to run TESTNET A in 2 days.
I'm expecting PRL price boost @ 1st of Feb.
167  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price speculation on: January 29, 2018, 11:19:28 PM
What are your price speculations guys?

short term, long term, quarterly, monthly ?

please share statistics if you got any.

thanks.

I can't decide to short term, so I'm sticking to alts trading and swaping.

In long term, I believe BTC will hit 20K to the end of 2018.
168  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL or SODL? on: January 28, 2018, 11:57:45 PM
What is your trading strategy right now?

Re: HODL or SODL?

The truth is in daily trading. If you have the guts to do it, profits are much more bigger than any hodl or sodl.

But it's scary from time to time...
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does the video on an ICO webpage impact your investment decision? on: January 26, 2018, 11:18:05 PM
Hey guys! I'm a marketing expert recently involved in ICOs. The industry is blowing my mind and from marketing point of view it's really interesting phenomenon to observe.

Today I want to ask you whether you watch carefully the ICO's videos. There are so many factors when one is making a decision whether to invest or not and the video is just one of them.

Is it important for you? What videos appeal better to you? The ones you see the team or the animated ones that describe the idea in a cool graphic way? Hope this will turn into a good discussion.

Usually it doesn't hurt it, but definitely doesn't do a positive impact. Because 99% of the videos are too shiny and 'see-how-great' are we without any useful information.

One exception: if the site is with auto-start video I'm insta closing it and never look back at the project. I'm too annoyed from this practice.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this project where the Crypto cards are heading? on: January 26, 2018, 11:15:10 PM
So now, after this bann, what choices do the cards have to be real?
Are there any crypto to fiat cards working?

They have probably a few alternative options I know that TenX is in talks with another provider and is close to announcing them as well. There are cards that are working but none of them have access to any altcoins only bitcoin right now. That is good but it is limited accessibility and we need more companies trying to do what TenX is trying to solve not more projects like Centra and Monaco which apparently lie about having working products.

There are always alternatives, but here all are unacceptable.
What is the point to have some weird card, accepted only on few places in main cities? If the card isn't VISA or MC it's useless at this point.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this project where the Crypto cards are heading? on: January 22, 2018, 11:07:00 PM
Hardly... after recent VISA ban over crypto-currencies card.

In this case, they will need to compete VISA and MC for mass POS adoption, which is impossible currently.
172  Economy / Gambling / Re: When a Gambler/Player Dies on: January 22, 2018, 11:02:00 PM
Without username + pass + 2FA /optional but recommended/ - Simply they can't. They can't prove ownership in any way. The only exception I'm thinking of is signing a message from the deposited address, but then you still need to have pass/priv key.

It's the same when anybody dies and nobody else is knowing his wallet pass or private keys.

173  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC up on gov shutdown news? on: January 20, 2018, 11:48:47 PM
The news of a potential US government shutdown seem to be in sync with this 8% bitcoin rise. Coincidence or not? It was going up anyway and this seems to have triggered a pretty nice green candle. There's US government shutdown fears almost yearly but it has only happened 4 times in 25 years, I wonder how bitcoin will perform if it actually happens, I assume it will perform very well.

I think is was coincidence and the rise happens few hours before the end time of negotiations.
Everybody is against Trump policy there but he won some fresh air today with the Apple's statement for returning 350B in US and paying up to 38B in taxes.
174  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons why Lightning Network will fail on: January 20, 2018, 11:45:46 PM
You are right in most points, but I think LN will be successful for daily usage in cafeterias and similar places.

I think LN have /limited/ future.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO I've invested this month - HUGE potential on: January 19, 2018, 10:44:08 PM
I joined few good ICOs this month:

- CREDITS.com - finance sector

- Firelotto - gambling niche

- IQeon - esports sector.

I'm expecting extraordinary performance and return from all of them in 6-9 months.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Exchanges! on: January 19, 2018, 10:35:24 PM
If you can make an account, Binance currently is the best one.

Second in my list is Kucoin.

Third Cryptopia.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy Eth with my Bitcoin on: January 19, 2018, 10:30:26 PM
From Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum, ETH is most stable coin in past 3 months.

Looks like BTC is over various attacks and speculation. But ETH have the power of ICO projects behind.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: bitconnect down the floor. Is lending dead? on: January 18, 2018, 11:48:26 PM
Yes Lending is dead and BCC seems to have no value. I think it will be zero in the next few days

They never had a real value.

It's the biggest ponzi of our time and nothing more.

It's time to be wiped out, but people are still buying without reading.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is yobit exchange scam? on: January 18, 2018, 08:24:39 PM
Yobit is not a scam, they just are having serious trouble with providing support on time.
It's the perfect exchange for trading small coins.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: theory: bitconnect caused crash on: January 17, 2018, 08:39:37 PM
Bitconnect is just ponzi sh*tcoin and cannot cause any crash.
It's only crashing the money of gullible who gave their money there...
