161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Investments Why Risky? on: October 17, 2018, 01:22:55 PM
Among the many factors that can prevent me from investing in a particular ICO project is the lack of a relative stability or high volatility of the crypto market lately. The number of scam projects in recent times have affected the rate at which people invest in projects. Last year was really amazing for the world of crypto as many ICO projects were really successful in terms of achieving their targets. This year has been stressful for the world of crypto.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Years From Now in Crypto? on: October 17, 2018, 01:08:12 PM
Five years from now, I see high value for bitcoin and an increase in the number of realistic projects with great vision and motive powered by blockchain technology. I think the regulations would also be enormous to ensure that there are reductions in the number of scams in the world of crypto. This would lead to a higher acceptance among a relatively larger number of people than we have at the moment.
163  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's suppose that Bitcoin became universal (used everywhere you go) on: October 16, 2018, 11:17:19 PM
Blockchain technology is here to solve the numerous issues affecting humanity, surely Bitcoin is the future currency of the world, I believe the time would surely come when bitcoin would replace fiat currency or co-exist positively with the major fiat currencies in the world. It would surely become a reality in the very near future.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea Opens Doors for Cryptocurrency on: October 16, 2018, 10:46:19 PM
i know it all people that open with technology like South Korea, Japanese will accept bitcoin because they know that bitcoin is the future of currencies and blockchain is the future of the system, so they accept it. Right now we will wait that other country will accept bitcoin in the future
It always feels great to see good news on bitcoin, citizens of  South Korea have always been popular in the cryptoworld. Blockchain technology is taking over the world. Innovating projects are emerging through experienced developers in blockchain technology. I believe other countries across the globe would follow the footsteps of South Korea.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should there be that many cryptocurrencies that exists? on: October 16, 2018, 10:30:47 PM
There are more coins than the number given above. I believe in quality more than quantity but I think as more projects keeps emerging, there would be more coins to compete with the already existing ones including bitcoin The huge number of cryptocurrencies is cool, I believe in healthy competition among the coins when it comes to the world of crypto.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook and blockchain on: October 16, 2018, 09:36:54 PM
Only rumors, but I see that this can be real (unicorns taking over crypto).
This would popularize blockchain and crypto to a new level, I think we are not so far from that anymore.

168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should NOT determine the market on: October 16, 2018, 09:08:52 PM
One cannot easily say that bitcoin always determine the crypto market. There are many factors that determine the price of the various cryptocurrencies and bitcoin is certainly has a big influence on the crypto market. I believe many of the altcoins are just following the footsteps of bitcoin.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we stop Bitcoin's negative publicity?-Rebranding. on: October 16, 2018, 08:58:32 PM
How is that possible to rebrand with bitcoin. Most of the activities in the world of crypto is scripted by the decentralized blockchain technology. Individuals as crypto enthusiasts can only do better by promoting bitcoin in the positive light.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Speak against Bitcoin but still wants to accept payment in bitcoin on: October 15, 2018, 11:50:52 PM
I don't know  why some individuals in the Crypto world wants to kick against bitcoin. I think we should always try as much as possible to push bitcoin due to the fact that it is the most stable and popular among all cryptocurrencies, I believe this is the right way to push the world of crypto to prominence.
171  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of HACKERS! on: October 15, 2018, 11:45:01 PM
Sometimes I wonder why certain dishonest individuals want to  scam people of the little they have gathered. It is usually devastating to hear news of people getting scammed of their private keys. All we can do as good crypto enthusiasts is by adhering to the various security measures that has been put in place.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin? on: October 11, 2018, 09:31:09 AM
Bitcoin is the greatest invention on this century. It change the whole financial system of the world. Government wants to destroy it as peer to peer network. But bitcoin will be remain in future with its dignity.
Certainly, in most countries as bitcoin becomes popular they try everything possible to destroy people's interest in bitcoin and I don't think this is really helping the world of crypto, but most people are not perturbed we have invested hugely in this big industry of ours.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY CAN BE USED TO PREVENT FAKE FIAT CURRENCIES? on: October 11, 2018, 09:27:42 AM
According to literature cryptocurrencies can help avoid double spending and generating of fake currencies into the system. The blockchain technology which serves as a distributed ledger system for all transactions of bitcoin prevents double spending and also because the honest nodes on the bitcoin network outweighs the attacker nodes, the nodes within the network only confirms true transactions unto the blockchain other than any suspicious transactions.
Also, because the blockchain technology is an open source decentralized network everything occurring on the network is very transparent and therefore people can just make their own currencies into the system.
You have a good point there, but your statement would be really confusing to anyone who is new to blockchain technology. Blockchain technology and crypto are two separate things and yes blockchain technology is decentralized but yet very transparent.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does Bitcoin affect other Crypto? on: October 10, 2018, 11:02:52 PM
I think bitcoin has a lot of influences on the other coins or altcoins. I believe almost every altcoin takes inspiration from the success story of bitcoin. This is what I have noticed over the years, so the influence can be directly or indirectly when it comes to the market value of most coins.
175  Economy / Economics / Re: You cannot eat your cake and have it on: October 09, 2018, 03:44:33 PM
You are certainly right, it always feels great when you invest in a venture that fetches you good returns in terms of profit. It is quite unfortunate that sometimes the kind of investments one put in a project ends up in dissatisfaction. The best decision one can make is to invest whatever amount he/she can afford to lose.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin market doesn't fall, is it growing steadily!? (thoughts and analysis) on: October 09, 2018, 03:34:30 PM
It is quite unfortunate that bitcoin has not peak this year just as it did the previous years. There are issues with projections, sometimes predictions don't come true as planned, many crypto enthusiasts like myself are not happy with the state of affairs. But I still have confidence that there are better days ahead for bitcoin before the year ends.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Asking stores do they accept bitcoin on: October 09, 2018, 03:16:25 PM
Certainly, I believe asking stores whether or not they accept bitcoin as a mode of payment is one of the best ways to move bitcoin to the next level through advertisement. With this approach, we can easily introduce bitcoin to people who are new to the world of crypto.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin bring an end to Paypal? on: October 09, 2018, 03:11:27 PM
Bitcoin and Paypal are two separate entities so I don't see one replacing the other. Personally, I prefer bitcoin to PayPal any day. PayPal has restricted usage in most parts of the world compared to bitcoin.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think there's another way to pay in the future? on: October 08, 2018, 05:57:01 PM
The world is fast advancing in technology almost everyday. I believe the world is yet to see  better and improved methods of payment than we currently have, bitcoin is surely the future currency for the whole world. Very soon fiat currency would be in extinction.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how are you increasing your BTC portfolio? on: October 08, 2018, 05:47:44 PM
The simplest strategy to increase your bitcoin portfolio is by buying when the price is low and selling when the price moons. This is the simplest strategy employed by most crypto enthusiasts or traders in the world of digital currency. The same strategy can be compared to demand and supply found in economics.
