There is a popular saying that invest only what you can afford to loose. Some people are making the mistake of investing all their life savings into crypto and other ventures. Although the whole market is red, I'm very much afraid of holding ETH now. In my opinion, ETH was fluctuated to its ATH when people were more interested investing in ICO. Nowadays ICO is almost dead. That is why it has less demand. I don't think it will get another ATH soon.
What's your thoughts on it? Should I hold now?
ETH is not the only coin suffering currently. Even Bitcoin is feeling the hit too. I also don't think people have completely lost interest in ICOs. The only thing is that there is no much money in circulation in most countries, and as such no much spare money for investment in ICOs. |

yesterday's drop was probably because of Goldmansachs news and the panic about that. nothing more.
I have also heard from different sources the reason for the sharp decline in prices. Some sources have attributed it to the Silk Road movement of 100,000 BTC while I also saw in some places that the Goldmansachs are withdrawing a form of support. Whichever, let's hope the prices recover. |

I got into the bitcoin again last year after losing all my 4.5 bitcoins to ponzi schemes early last year. I bought in bitcoin again at $20k. Now bitcoin is $6k+. I'm regretting my actions.  This is a bad loss for you really. The difference in the prices is too much. It means you will wait much longer for the price of Bitcoin to reach $20,000 again. |

From what I have seen so far in this forum and other crypto platforms, most of us want fiat eliminated. But let us not forget that there are still situations whereby we can't use crypto except fiat like in rural places without computers or even internet facilities.
