It does happen often actually. We have seen a very steady increase in the price since the announcement was made, and then a quick drop.

It is a strategy that a lot of day traders use. They buy in when a new release/wallet/feature/etc is announced. Then they sell off just as it is about to be implemented.

I think the price is only so high because deposits on HitBTC are disabled again. Once deposits are back online, people will quickly eat up those over hyped sell orders, and we will see the true price of of DIM coin.

I personally sold a small fraction of my holdings at 0.20 USD which more than covers my initial investment.

If DIM plays their cards right, we may find ourselves selling for much more than 0.20 USD in the future

I personally think that the best profits from SONM will not come from trading. The profits will come to the strong hands. I have made a promise to myself to not sell no matter what.

Too many times I sold a coin after a major pump, hoping to get back in when the dump comes in. Guess what, those coins very rarely go back down for me to buy in.

HitBTC is a little funny like that.

You have to go in to your balances, look for DIM, and transfer it to your trading balance. Its just a few clicks, go into balances and you'll work it out.

My thoughts on this are:

1. Until cryptokitties came out the lottery was steadily increasing, with the most traffic on weekends. Since then, ETH network is congested, network fees are high, and barely anyone plays the lottery.

2. The developer has a 0.25% weekly or monthly (don't remember which) budget of the total jackpot for marketing the lottery, but apart from adverts on bitcointalk, I don't see any marketing activity going on. Would be nice if rumipl could update us all on the progress, he has gone silent recently.

Last I checked, yesterday, there was already 7,000,000 DIM Coins in their deposit address, and no body has received it yet. Looks like a major dump is coming.

Why are all of you crying and fudding?

Sure promises were made, and not neccesarily lived up to. The second ICO was not the best idea, it was foolish to think it would be a good idea even for a second, not quite sure what the team was thinking but I am sure their actions are part of a bigger picture, which we don't all see at the moment. It would help a lot more if the team was more communicative, and Richard responded to ALL AMA questions, rather than ignoring the 'inconvenient ones' (Hope you're reading Rich).

There are a lot of areas that can be improved upon. Just remember we're all humans, we all learn from our mistakes and no team is perfect. Every company has its flaws and strenghts. I think we should be supportive, and hope that the DIM team learns from their mistakes.

That is life, shit happens. Performing a public lynching of the team ain't going to help you recoup any money - in fact the end result is the opposite, because you encourage everyone to dump their coins. You hurt the morale of the team, and you're also being an ass. If the project has failed, then there is nothing you can do about it. Your money and my money is lost.

So to all of you fudding and crying. Shut up, grow a pair, and accept the fact that patience is what pays off. Not just in investing/gambling (or however you wish to call it).
