161  Other / Off-topic / Re: 5% on Binance still loss? on: February 05, 2020, 07:56:34 PM
I am not the guy that would explain you how futures work.
I am here to tell you that you made a big mistake to be involved in futures without knowing about them. It is possibly a loss of your money as you are involved without having knowledge how to control your losses.

My preferred style of learning is to learn from mistakes because it is what works for me. As you can see I am using a limited budget specifically to learn.
162  Other / Off-topic / 5% on Binance still loss? on: February 05, 2020, 06:49:04 PM
Can someone explain me how Binance futures work?

Despite me making 5% return on my entry, somehow I am still operating at loss. I will show you a video
Keep in mind professional traders in industry look for a 3% target so that's why I want to know if I am doing
something wrong.

EDIT:

Tried doing it again, still same loss results despite being profitable https://youtu.be/bG10ZI3GEqY
163  Other / Off-topic / Your opinion on wood watches? on: February 01, 2020, 05:32:18 PM
I used to hate wearing watches before I got myself a wood watch. I just love its design and I feel that it's so highly valuable, so nice, so good to wear and always
sends me in the centre of attention ("Hey that's such a nice watch").

However I have never seen in real life anyone wearing a wood watch except for some people who got it because they liked mine  Grin
Do you guys have or wear wood watches?

Personally I purchased a super affordable ~ $100 Manywoods ( https://manywoods.com/ ), the "Super Modena Edition" which looks like this:

I am in love with it and thinking of buying one more expensive, like $500 for the watch from jord (woodwatches.com) which looks like this

The movement of both watches I believe is like in Seiko. I am thinking of building a collection of wood watches buying everything from manywoods
and everything from jord. Your opinions?
164  Other / Off-topic / Re: Social Network, pay its users in Bitcoin on: January 19, 2020, 08:06:30 PM
I had a look over Noater.com. Seems mostly a spanish facebook thing that is not very friendly with english users.
I am getting suspicious because you can top up your Noater wallet with Bitcoin, PayPal, etc.
but you can never take money out  Smiley

You can obviously send money to other friends on Noater, but never get the money out. Seems like a scam
but I don't want to point my finger too fast. Maybe it's something legit or it will be improved over time.

Functionalities look professional, unfortunately it has that thing about the no exit strategy. Also it seems that there
are just 40 users at the moment. Hope more people will join

Why on your link it costs just 20k dogecoin ($49) and here is $999 at current rate in bitcoin?

Same with your previous post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5217358.msg53597758#msg53597758

166  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Magazine on: January 17, 2020, 09:45:14 PM

It'd be more interesting if its a youtube channel than writing articles for the news that is going on in bitcointalk while we can just read it all from here. A youtube channel will have a wider audience too. People watch or listen to youtube channels  on phone while doing chores or commuting. I do this all the so if there is a channel like this, we'd be updated while doing something else while we aren't yet at home to participate in the discussion.

I agree with this as long as it's not in a boring format that nobody watches because we've got plenty of that already
167  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Magazine on: January 17, 2020, 07:28:18 PM
Hi guys, CristianOff here, your favourite bitcointalk host.

In other news the guy mosprognoz who planned to create an information portal
did not end up doing an information portal. Was it the risk he was afraid of?
Stay tuned, you will learn more about it next week

Seriously dude, just do it. In the worst case scenario you will fail. Take a risk,
it's not that bad. Don't find excuses (I don't have programmers, I don't have time, etc.)
Just try and try and try. We encourage you, support you. If successful you'll go down
in history as the guy who believed in his idea, then he did not believe in his idea, then he
actually understood that the key is execution (⌐■_■)
168  Other / Off-topic / You have $1B ICO on: January 17, 2020, 07:19:06 PM
Imagine you are the successful mind behind $1,000,000,000 ($1 billion) initial coin offering.
What is the project behind the money?

I start:

The Bitcoin Skyscraper based in Switzerland. It's a mix of hotels, restaurants, shopping centres and offices for crypto
businesses. You can buy everything with Bitcoin or using the Skycoin you have been given in the ICO.
I invite you to the free education room on the ground floor if you don't know anything about blockchains and crypto.
169  Other / Off-topic / Re: Million Dollar Homepage? on: January 17, 2020, 06:11:11 PM
It's funny how I navigate to milliondollarhomepage.com, pick 5 random companies and 4 of them have no operating website, expired domains, etc.

Good luck with Cryptopiece
170  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legality of crypto in games question on: January 17, 2020, 02:32:36 AM
I think this is more of a Service Discussion (Altcoin) topic. And did I read it correctly that you're working with 10 years old - 18 years old? You won't have any problems working with the legal age base on your country's law.

AFAIK, the legal age by most countries is revolving around 16-18 years old and with what you have there, sure there will be an illegality that you're doing with them unless there's a parents consent and other legal consent made by your law.

I think working is not the best word I used. More like brainstorming and understanding in a voluntary way their needs. They are friends of friends and smaller brothers of friends so no issue with that. They do however, from time to time dedicate own time to do things but they are not asked. I care about the selling crypto related issue but thanks for the opinion.
171  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why is PAYPAL So OBSESS when it comes to keeping Your MOney? on: January 16, 2020, 01:04:36 PM
I recently got into creating a company and make an actual product, then sell it to persons. I am self employed (aka sole trader so don't use a limited company).
I have 100% ethical business, everything is legal and fair. Well, I did not have any problems yet and thanks God I hope it will be like that for a long time. However
I am scared hearing PayPal, Stripe, Shopify Payments and other companies holding $30,000 or even $100,000 from a seller who also has a trustworthy product. Those sellers
must match the orders with their own money which is stupid as hell. Sometimes they simply issue a refund and still pay the fees to the payment gateway. I never had a problem,
but if I was in a similar situation that would be disrupting, especially since money are not returned for over 180 days.

Take a look at this reddit: Paypal froze over $70,000 in my account

172  Bitcoin / Legal / Legality of crypto in games question on: January 16, 2020, 12:32:12 PM
Imagine that you have a game, just like a mobile game (Jetpack Joyride, Subway Surfers, etc.)
We all know that those games allow for in-app purchases. Use money and get their in-game currency to
buy awesome stuff we all need like skins and pixel upgrades (#sarcasm).

Now put the situation where instead of the in-game currency you use an ERC-20 issued by yourself on the
test network (Ropsten, Rinkeby maybe?). For the in-game currency you use your test network ERC-20 and you sell it
for money just like companies sell their in-game currency. Are you committing an illegality?

The reason I am asking is because I have been working with young people (10yo - 18yo) to do my best to push
this industry forward by making it widespread amongst a young audience (the future!). So I have this leucoincards.com (beta Ethereum Rinkeby card game)
where it makes sense to sell our "in-game" currency just like other games do, but we are slightly unsure about it in this moment.
173  Other / Off-topic / Re: Merry Christmas! - Free design for entrepreneurs. on: December 25, 2019, 11:03:22 PM
Very nice design. It is something I really love and I feel the christmas vibe. The miner idea in the background is priceless
If guys on fiverr can charge $100 for bad design, you should charge as well  for your amazing work Smiley Unless you feel like Santa and want to give
free stuff.

What does this have to do with bitcoin requiring technical support?

Have you lost any bitcoin’s or do you need help with some kind of issue or have you just had unfamiliar numbers calling you because if so your thread is spam & nothing to do with bitcoin?
my ETH wallet has been stolen 1 year ago without knowing how the hacker got my PV key.
I changed the method of protection using 2FA so I am scaring if the hacker can pass 2FA

This is so unlucky.
Make sure your computer is safe from phishing, malware, keylogger because in this case, even with 2 thousand factor authentication the hacker will
get access to your wallet. Use an antivirus, possibly paid. It's just $30/year and it saves you from losing millions. I guess it is worth it
175  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do u have any medical question you are afraid or embarrassed to ask your doctor? on: December 25, 2019, 10:35:57 PM
Such a pleasure having a doctor between us.

I think you proved you know your stuff and it looks like you are a real doctor from your writings. I wanted to ask you a question regarding your methodology however. You say you will
find the relevant bibliography / citation to prove something wrong. But since there are two opinions in contrast, does that not mean that you can find two bibliographies, one saying the
way you see it and one saying it the way others see it? How trustable are academic sources and why can we trust them that they provide relevant information?
176  Other / Serious discussion / Re: The risk of investing in cryptocurrency on: December 25, 2019, 10:11:36 PM
You can only lose if you sell at loss. If you are at loss just hold the damn coins. If you cannot hold the coins it means you invested more than you can afford to lose so
deserve it.

I spoke with a trader who is involved in commodities. He told me Bitcoin and crypto in general is at the acceptable level of volatility. It's just traders with no experience or
traders that are professional on stock or forex only that complain about volatility. Crypto assets are fine as long as you know what you do

How hard would it be to implement a streaming website such as a Twitch or YouTube and is it feasible to do so. i.e Profitable etc etc..

Creating something like this is as easy or difficult as you're willing
to work for it. We can use a diagram to see what you need for such a platform.

Your system has three main functions: one to provide content where you will implement the login for live streaming, live chat and whatever
your website has.

One is to integrate a money making scheme for accepting gifts, payments, etc.

Last is for monitoring to make sure things don't go different to planned. For example, if your platform is dedicated to gaming, you don't want someone
doing political campaign there. This is just an example and monitoring is so important.

Creating such a system is not difficult but for you, I don't recommend doing it yourself or paying someone to do it. I feel like you are already missing
the research bit of essential information so please don't pay someone to do programming if you don't know what to ask for. You will fail and lose your money. Also you're talking to us about
profitability but just to be bold a do a reality check for you, everything can be made profitable as long as you work hard enough and strategically to make the sales. If someone already
knew how to make something profitable, they would do it and not provide advice here on the forum on how to make it profitable, right?

Instead, I advise you to use an already built solution. 10 Platforms to Build Your Live Streaming Websites & App
Just do your research.

BUY the land.

5 years ago my family purchased 2 pieces of land in a foreign country where there was nothing but other pieces of land.
One went for €10,000 and the other for €5,000 (one close to each other so we connected them). Things never slow down, other people built
houses there and my family expected it to be a decent investment because it was so close to the city centre. However it turned out to be better than expected.

5 years later the land is worth €50,000 because prices went skyrocket in that area. Houses used to go for €20-25,000 and now
are easily €150,000! It became the best neighborhood apparently. My family sells those lands to the new mayor of the city.
You usually don't earn that much on land but sometimes it happens if you believe in it. Sometimes the economy as a whole can be
a source of wealth.

For reference purposes, this happens in a small village where nobody expected anything to happen. It is in Romania, 50 km away from Ukraine

Programming a website from scratch is always going to be more $$$ than using wordpress, Wix or other website builders.

Assuming you're interested in programming from scratch, there are some criteria I would consider:

1) Does the website need a frontend? If yes how complicated it is? (for example: special links that need to be done programmatically, use of advanced design such as WebGl, etc)
2) Does the website need a backend (databases, mail server, etc.)? If yes how complicated it is? (Does it need to run a specific backend script and has it already been programmed / algorithm created?)
3) Does the website need to be interconnected to a blockchain? If yes to which one? (Does it need to be connected to Ethereum or to a self blockchain created by the customer's company?)
4) Does the website need to be very secure? If yes why and what data is it holding that the customer would not want to leak? (Example: customer credit card details, medical record, etc.)

Sometimes people who are not experienced are looking for a full-stack web developer in the hope they will find the whole IT department. Let me do a reality check for you, nobody will do this.
A website depending on its complexity can go anywhere from $1,000 for a very basic yet working one to $20,000 for one that can do specific things. Imagine you want to develop your own social
media platform. You can easily do it on WordPress and that is going to cost you less than $1,000 but you won't be able to do much with it. It will be very insecure and most likely, you will need to employ
more programmers to do what you want to do. Instead, coding a social media platform is likely to cost you up to $20,000 for the initial platform, then you will further spend on improvements,
increasing computer resources (growing server RAM, database size, etc.). If you can code it yourself and find a team to do it, take down that $20k  Grin

I'll tell you one thing I am 100% sure. There is a 100% chance some exchanges, trusted or fishy have used this method
at some point. Your words Sir are worth billions of dollars in this industry and thank you so much for sharing. I am bookmarking
this as soon as I get merits
