161  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: COINNMC [SCAM] [SCAM] [SCAM] on: February 08, 2024, 10:01:04 PM
Many crypto users have lost their money before falling for these old scam tricks, Chinese beautiful girls. Even on many dating sites, crypto users have fallen prey to scammers, and some beautiful girls are involved in those scams. In fact, these are organized scamming techniques, but crypto users see various attractive offers and send their funds to scammers in the name of investing without knowing the consequences of these offers. Hopefully one day crypto users will be wary of such scams and keep themselves away from becoming easy victims of scammers.
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you beleive in the concept of "Luck"? on: February 08, 2024, 09:49:45 PM
I believe in luck. A gambler wins big like jackpot because of their own luck, here the gambler doesn't do any special skill to win jackpot so it all depends on luck. That means luck has a lot of influence in gambling. Many a times it is seen that even though the gambler has a good knowledge of gambling, he keeps losing because his skill is good but his luck is not helping him. How can a gambler win in slot machines because no human skill is effective here, then I think luck is very important here. But yes luck is very important to win in gambling but it is also important to keep yourself from making more losses after gambling losses after over relying on luck, this should not pave the way for over addiction.
163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im good with shorting binance on: February 08, 2024, 07:38:54 PM
Taking short trades is very risky.  A project doesn't go down long without some major bad news.  But a little bit of good news can make a project go a long way .  So I think long trade is much better than short trade.  Short trades can be taken for a very short time.
Short trading is always risky as a sudden pump will easily liquidate the position. Futures trading has many advanced places where there is risk in both Short / Long sides, sudden pump as well as sudden dump which liquidate the position before realizing anything.

There is a mindset among crypto traders that if one wins a few trades, he becomes overconfident and at some point starts making wrong decisions that result in the loss of his winning trades, profits and capital. So don't consider yourself an expert because of some winning trades without reading Futures trading well. Market makers are very strong they know how to play with traders emotions and liquidate positions.
Futures trading is extremely risky and that is the reason why it's not recommended for newbie traders or investors to get into futures trading until they learn everything from top to bottom. For someone to gain success in futures trading, they will need to have a complete understanding of the market, every cryptocurrency, and all the techniques and patterns of futures trading so that they don't make wrong decisions and get liquidated in no time.

People without ample knowledge should only stay in the spot trading market and just buy and sell cryptocurrencies for small amounts of profit instead of venturing into markets that they don't understand only to lose their trading capital and then sit and regret.
In futures trading, experienced traders never trade with high leverage, as inexperienced traders use high leverage. From my futures trading experience, I have seen that it is not very difficult to make a profit from futures trading, but it is difficult to retain that profit. Because traders get greedy and take trades one after the other, as a result of which the trader ends up losing all the profit and his capital. Therefore, traders should come to futures trading with deep knowledge of the market, otherwise they will not be able to survive in this market and will lose all funds by liquidating in futures trading.

Futures trading is so advanced that even experienced traders end up making losses here, because this emotion influences everyone to make wrong decisions. So spot trading is a good option for an investor, because even if a coin is dumped by 20% during the bull market, there is a high chance of recovering it in the spot market, and in futures trading, once it is liquidated, all the funds will be zero.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: February 08, 2024, 06:29:47 PM
If the gambling addict is very serious, of course it will cause household problems too, because the gambler will look for money any way he can so he can continue gambling, this is often related except for responsible gambling.
Any addiction takes people to extreme levels so that problems start in the family as well. When a gambler becomes addicted he loses control and becomes addicted to gambling and is ready to do anything for money. One of my cousins got addicted to gambling and sold his house, land and even his mobile at last. So when one becomes addicted to gambling, it affects the family a lot, and that can be well understood by those who have someone in their family who is addicted to gambling. If someone loses control over himself then gambling cannot be blamed for his failure.

166  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Emails requesting Bitcoin. on: February 07, 2024, 07:53:18 PM
I also get a lot of spam emails in my email every day, since I am aware enough about such scams, I have managed to stay away from these scams till now. Currently, the personal data of crypto users has been stolen from many big companies, and scammers are using that data to target crypto users. And after seeing these activities, it shows why not to use the same password while registering in all the websites.

I hope your warning will be helpful for newbie crypto users to protect themselves from such scams.

168  Economy / Reputation / Re: What happens if someone sells an account on a neighboring forum? on: February 04, 2024, 07:51:16 PM
If someone wants to do this, it will be a very bad decision for him. The owner of the teleported account will be the same person as the owner of the Bitcointalk account, now if someone sells his teleported account, and if the new owner does any kind of scam, then the owner of the Bitcointalk account is also responsible for the scam because according to the rules, the owner of two accounts is the same. So selling a teleported account on a neighboring forum is the same as creating a path to ruining your reputation on bitcointalk as well.
169  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: kyrptcatalyst.com a crypto scam website on: February 04, 2024, 07:29:43 PM
This is the case with all Ponzi scheme and hyip websites, when they reach their target they come up with various excuses to fool the users. We have seen many ponzi websites in the past make excuses like this before running away with the money.

I don't think this website is down due to your complaint, actually those who were behind this website downed the website, because of scamming the funds of the users who have invested. So this mail of theirs is just an excuse and nothing else.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your expectations ahead of pre and post BTC halving? on: February 04, 2024, 07:09:53 PM
If we talk about the price in the short term, I expect some correction in the Bitcoin market, because everyone is expecting the Bitcoin price to go up due to the halving, so a correction is expected here. But if you look at Bitcoin history you will get an idea of how fast Bitcoin has trended up after the Bitcoin halving. And there have been many discussions on this topic before and those threads also exist in this forum.

If you think long term you will see how much uptrend Bitcoin will go after halving which you might not even expect now. Because Bitcoin has achieved a new ATH after every halving, and you can understand that by looking at the Bitcoin chart. So I would say you don't expect short term market changes due to halving but think long term big picture, long term you will get better results from Bitcoin than expected because everything takes time.
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: February 04, 2024, 06:33:16 PM
I have read the T&C of the casino I gamble at while creating an account. Before joining any casino it is important to know the T&C of that casino so as not to face any unknown problem in future. It is important to know these things including KYC so that you are not surprised when the casino asks you to do KYC. It is a gambler's responsibility to read the T&C properly, since the gambler will be depositing his funds in that casino, it is better to know the details about that casino. Because we see so many complaints all of them have one reason why gamblers make mistakes for unknown reasons, because they don't try to read the T&C.
172  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for February on: February 03, 2024, 10:21:47 PM
It is difficult to predict whether it will rise or fall in February because recently the Bitcoin price was not far from $40k, meaning a little below $40k or a little above $40k. However my prediction is more likely that the price of Bitcoin will rise because I believe this year is a bullish year and I also believe that this month it will be able to penetrate $45k.
Since the approval of Bitcoin's spot ETF, big investors have been selling Bitcoin to take profits. But Bitcoin is still above $40k despite all the big sell pressure. Grayscale has been regularly selling bitcoins since EFT approval but on the other hand investors like Blackrock are increasing their bitcoin holdings so the market is still at a stable price.

That means a lot of things are happening behind the scenes, so that they are preparing for the next bull market. Therefore, instead of focusing on the short-term changes in Bitcoin, we should focus on how big a bull run Bitcoin can give in the future.
173  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should prioritize investment over saving on: February 03, 2024, 09:29:25 PM
Inflation erodes the purchasing power of our money over time, making simple savings less effective. Investing in bitcoins, land, or gold may be a more profitable option, preserving and potentially increasing the value of our funds. I lean towards the idea that investments provide better protection against the impact of inflation compared to simply hoarding money.
Savings only keeps the amount of money equal but also reduces purchasing power, common people are not really aware of it until they are faced with the real situation. Inflation is increasing at an alarming rate all over the world which will create a very bad situation in the near future. Investment can give a person financial freedom, but it requires proper knowledge and right decisions about where to invest. Bitcoin investment is definitely the best long-term option in my opinion, because the way the price of

Bitcoin has performed over the past few years, it is very difficult to get such returns from any other sector. But yes every individual has their different thinking which leads to different interest in investing in Gold, Land, Stocks, Bitcoin etc.
174  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Anonymous-casino.com (a-c.bet) refuses to pay $17,000 on: February 03, 2024, 08:54:30 PM
You got a big win, but have no idea about the reputation of this casino. They created the ANN thread in this forum but they stopped engaging with the community. I checked their representative's profile and found that he has been offline for years, so it remains to be seen if complaining here will do any good to get a reply from them. If they were thinking of running their business seriously then they would be active here.

175  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🍍Pineapple Poker| freeroll tournament starting soon| WIN 120 USDT on: February 03, 2024, 08:32:48 PM
You should make your ANN thread more detailed to attract more community members to use your product. But it's really hard to trust a game on Telegram, because the reputation of Telegram is very questionable and many bad things happen on Telegram. So I think it's hard to make this game successful on Telegram, rather make a website and try to reach gamblers.

Welcome to the forum.
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What remarkable thing have you achieved with the money you won from gambling? on: February 03, 2024, 07:42:06 PM
Since I'm not a big gambler I always try to gamble with small amounts, so I've never been lucky enough to win big. But I won a lot of small bets and spent the winning money on myself, because one thing I always kept in mind is that I can lose a bigger amount the next day, so I am prepared for that. And always try to use the winning fund properly.

But the first time I got a big win (according to my funds), I used part of that money to buy a smartphone, which is a good memory for me during gambling.
177  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think people can overcome any danger if they want to? on: February 03, 2024, 07:02:56 PM
Sorry to hear about what happened to your father. Now your family depends on you so now you have to focus on your family. Now you try to find a better paying job without thinking of any investment, so that you will have enough extra funds in your hand and you can invest those funds even after taking care of your family expenses. So you must think carefully before taking any decision.

Which of the trading do you do, spot or future? Although I love spot trading and it has been helpful to me to make extra income in the crypto space but future trading has shown me alot in this space. Future trading isn't easy at all. It involves alot of technical analysis. To me, I think it's not really ideal for a newbie.
Spot trading is always a good option for newbies, and futures trading is so advanced level that many experienced traders try to avoid it. Futures trading has given me a tough time, resulting in losses of quite a large amount, and spot trading has helped me recover those losses. Therefore, before coming to futures trading, you have to be very experienced in technical matters.
178  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: February 03, 2024, 05:59:42 PM
I could understand if the government really requires them to ask KYC and documents regardless of how much the amount you have in your account. But if a number of reputable casinos don't do this and they don't then they are not worth the loyalty. Just stay on the reputable casinos in crypto because you can be assured submitting documents to them is not as risky as sending them to an unknown platform.

They are already deceiving users from the beginning so it wouldn't be surprising if they turn scams later on.
There are many reputable casinos that have been in business for a long time and are giving importance to their customers. But many a times gamblers choose casinos with bad reputation instead of joining these casinos, as a result of which they face big problems later on.

I agree with you, it is risky to do KYC by sharing your personal information with any bad reputation casino, because no one knows what will happen to that information later. Because many times it is seen online that people's personal information is leaked from various websites. So to stay away from such situations, the gambler must be careful in selecting the casino.
