561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: July 16, 2023, 07:33:56 PM
What online gambling does is that it makes people lazy once they get addicted to it, people start thinking that they don't need to do any job and they can make some money each week from gambling by sitting in the comfort of their homes without any stress of any job or earning at all, these are the kind of people who can barely make their lives better in the future and are mostly dependent on others to feed them and their family out of misery.
This is indeed true. After regularly winning a few bets in gambling, the gambler becomes confident that he has become an expert at gambling and now nothing can stop him from becoming a millionaire. Then he will think of money as a trivial thing, and because of laziness he will not even try to do any job and will waste the important time of his life to dream of luxurious life. But he realizes how harmful this overconfidence can be after he becomes addicted to gambling.

Gambling is not bad as long as someone plays it like gambling, and those who make gambling their main earning source and become addicted to gambling aggressively end up seeing very bad results. By the time they realize their mistake, it is too late.
562  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [ALERT] BEWARE ABOUT PHISHING SITES on: July 16, 2023, 05:25:59 PM
Recently Arkham make a tweet about Pishing sites because they do a Airdrop to early users who join whitelist and their token is also listing on Binance Exchange in future.
With the so many phishing sites opened because of this project, it won't be wrong to conclude that it's a great project. So many scammers want to lash in on its utility and public demand for it to hoodwink investors. It's good that someone is vigilant enough to have pointed all that phishers (and many more) out. This is the simple reason people should ask for official links from those recommending projects to them and not just go to search engines to get them but themselves.
When a project comes to the Binance launchpad, there is already a lot of hype in the market about that project, and scammers use this hype every time to come up with fake/phishing websites to fool and scam crypto investors. So they didn't create a fake/phishing website because it is a solid project, they are actually trying to take advantage of the hype of binance launchpad. Because we have seen such activities in the past, scammers using the name of Binance launchpad tried to scam people.

564  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you sell...next bull run? on: July 16, 2023, 02:30:29 PM
1. What price do you think that bitcoin will hit in the next ATH.
While not completely accurate, I would expect bitcoin price to reach around $100k-$120k in the next bullish cycle which is the new ATH level. I see that the next bullish season will be the period many people are waiting for as the bitcoin price will set a new ATH record as many analysts have been predicting.
When the market breaks the new ATH it will again create more greed among traders, as a result of which those traders will not sell at that top and book profits. So I think if you really want to sell your bitcoins in the next bull market, you should set a target in advance so that you don't regret it later. I have seen many traders who have lost rather than profited in bull markets simply because of indecisiveness.
People who had experienced the previous bull runs will know what happens when the price of bitcoin reaches the ath. It is really hard to analyse and understand specific price to be the ath for the season. As stated making a target and moving with that will let the user enjoy the profit. When price keeps increasing the greediness accompanies which is the base to make people miss opportunities. However my choice of selling is different, whenever there is need, unlike the price I prefer to sell and get fulfilled with what I receive.
The exciting journey of a bull market takes a trader to another level of excitement until he sees the dump at the end of the bull market. So I think traders who have seen the bull market of 2017 and 2021 probably have enough experience of how terrible the pain of the end of a bull market can be. Therefore, the short-term trader has to prepare in advance so that he can exit the market at the right time. Because no one knows what the next ATH will be and how the market will react from that ATH.
565  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Idmining.com is hellish scammer on: July 16, 2023, 02:17:47 PM
This is really a sad story. And it's even more worrying that crypto users sneak large transactions to scam websites when they see tempting offers. This crypto user has deposited such a large amount of funds on such a website, because they allowed this user to withdraw the previously deposited funds! And this is exactly how these websites operate to gain trust and then scam them. These stories make me wonder how many traps scammers have created for newbies. Because the stories of these incidents are being seen in various media these days.

Once scammers used to run HYIP websites to scam crypto users, and now scammers are creating such websites and scamming them with tempting offers. Newbies should spend more time learning without thinking of such easy earning ways. And by this they can stay safe from scammers.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 16, 2023, 01:55:44 PM
Afghanistan's performance today is going down the drain as the loss of two wickets is sad news in the power play. But today's bowling performance must be mentioned Bangladesh's bowling Taskin Ahmed, he has shown today's performance which has made a place in the minds of the audience. The game is suspended only because of rain. Afghanistan can collect 130 runs if they continue to collect runs like this. Wicket pressure engulfed Afghanistan. However, Hasan Mahmood bowled two overs and conceded only four runs. Bangladesh's performance is expected to be better as there will be a strong form in batting as well.
Bangladesh played the ODI series with Afghanistan worse than expected, but Bangladesh came back strongly from the third match and still maintained it. Bangladesh's dramatic display towards the end to win the first T20 match might have given Bangladeshi cricket fans a mini heart attack. Bangladesh is still in an advantageous position in today's match. If the match starts again, Bangladesh had a chance to do well in this match as well. Let's see if the match starts, still no positive news about the start of the game.
567  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: July 16, 2023, 01:00:28 PM
~~

Money laundering is just one of the options casinos have to close your account and take your money. It's a loophole they can use against you, not the other way round.
We're talking about crypto casinos here so there's no money laundering taking place but rather coin mixing. Is coin mixing money laundering is another debate because I'd say it isn't since cryptocurrency isn't money. The process of laundering starts and ends with exchanges. If someone sends crypto to a casino it's just a step in the whole process.
This can be a riskier approach than other approaches to coin mixing. But how many things people do online, just as the casino wants to prevent the gambler, the gambler also wants to fool the casino by using the casino's system. But the casino is in an advantageous position here, as they can freeze the gambler's funds without any prior notice.

So I think since this question has arisen I think there is a reality behind it. Because not everyone thinks in a good way like us, there are many dishonest people who use the weakness of the system to continue their work.
568  Other / Meta / Re: Is it allowed to post in English in a Local Section on: July 16, 2023, 12:31:08 PM
Sometimes while posting in international boards, many members get into the habit of posting in English, as a result of which they cannot write good posts in the local language even if they want to. So they also want to post in English on local boards, which many local members find difficult to understand because English is not their main language. But I do not agree with the statement that posting in English on the local board will upset the local members and disrespect the local board.
There is no way one can speak and write English (as a second language) better than the native language.
It will definitely upset local people. Imagine you are a French and write in English in Français board. That's the disrespect of your own language. Imagine, you are a German and post in English in German board, isn't it disrespect of your own language when you live in a country where official language is German and everyone speaks it in that country?
The situation is different if we talk about Swiss board. In Switzerland, there are four official languages: German, French, Italian, and Romansh. If you are from the western part of Switzerland and speak French and post in French language, then that can't be considered as disrespect and will be tolerated by everyone, I guess.
I said what seemed right from my point of view. Now I never thought that local members might be disrespected for posting in English. I agree that local board members should post in local language, because it will be easier for all members to understand the post there.

Now even if someone feels comfortable posting in English on a local board, your statement implies that he should be forced to post in the local language in the local language! However, since I don't post on my local boards, so don't worry too much about this. But still just giving my opinion.
569  Other / Meta / Re: Is it allowed to post in English in a Local Section on: July 16, 2023, 10:01:51 AM
Personally, I think that it's disrespect to post in English language in your own local board unless posts are intended for international users. That's definitely okay if your country has two or more official languages and one of them in English, like in India and Ireland.
Btw no one can prohibit you from posting in English in local board, it's just disrespect that will probably upset a lot of local board members if you intentionally don't post in your own language and post in English.
Sometimes while posting in international boards, many members get into the habit of posting in English, as a result of which they cannot write good posts in the local language even if they want to. So they also want to post in English on local boards, which many local members find difficult to understand because English is not their main language. 570  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: July 15, 2023, 10:32:18 PM
Many casinos now force gamblers to do KYC. So when a gambler's complete details are with the casino, there is not much for that gambler to do. At any time the casino can freeze the funds if they believe the gambler is involved in money laundering.

And this is why one should not gamble in casinos where KYC is mandatory, as this increases the risk of a gambler even if he is not involved in activities such as money laundering.
Once the casino asks for the source of funds and the user can't provide detailed info, that's when the casino is going to really suspect something and freeze the amount.

But I'm not really sure about the wagering requirement that one user has to lose it all. That's a mess up, I would certainly avoid that one even if I deposit a small amount all the time.
Depositing and then playing a bit and then withdrawing the funds seem not a good way to launder, ain't that a very obvious dumb way and the casino will indeed suspect.
This may not really be a way of money laundering, but who knows there may be many players who are doing this. Before I deposit in a casino I think several times whether I can eventually withdraw my funds from this casino without any hassle. Casinos are also getting tougher by the day to catch those who engage in such activities.

Now if a gambler deposits his funds in a bad casino with the intention of money laundering, and if that casino freezes his funds with any excuse, then it becomes a nightmare for that gambler. So I also think this can't be a good way, and if the gambler gambles with his funds for the purpose of mixing then there will still be a risk of losing the funds.

572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginners Should Follow These To Be A Good Price Predictor on: July 15, 2023, 09:28:26 PM
There's no one would really be called to be a perfect trader no matter how veteran or expert you are, you would really be still able to experience out that kind of shake off whenever this market would be making those
unexpected events or happenings specially if this one talks about fundamentals which is something that it is inevitable and since we are just humans then those reactions would really be just that normal.
Exactly If everyone was a perfect trader and could predict the market perfectly, then many big asset managers would not have gone bankrupt. To be successful in the market, the trader must keep control over himself and refrain from overconfident and aggressive decisions.

I've seen many traders who were experienced and doing well, but suddenly the market became volatile and they couldn't control their emotions and made FOMO buys. As a result they exited those trades losing the whole year's profit at that time. So the traders who are making profit throughout the year sometimes cannot win with the market, this means that no trader is perfect and the market can make even an experienced trader suffer huge losses at any time.

This scammer may not know this forum well, which is why he posted this scam here. Where scammers are exposed every day, and he has posted a scam that is easily assumed to be a scam. However, since he posted this scam here it means that he will now use this technique to try to scam crypto users in different ways. They want to get access to wallets of crypto users by creating fake airdrop websites using popular website names. OP thank you for bringing this scam forward, hope newbies will be careful after reading this thread.
Yeah, the most vulnerable are the newbies who might not have the slightest idea that this is a scam, I hope they will come across this thread, and not only avoid falling prey to this bad eggs, but also stay vigilant and get immunization against future and similar scam strategies..
My fear for newbies is that when they see something free, they run blindly after it, causing them to fall badly into scams and lose their money. These scams are still brought to the market by scammers because they know that the crypto market is flooded with newbies every day and it is easy to trap them.

Newbies should join this forum as soon as they get involved in the crypto market, because this forum is such a source of knowledge about crypto currency that one who spends some time on this forum will not fall prey to scammers easily. So if newbies are smart and clever, scammers' plans also tend to fail.
574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginners Should Follow These To Be A Good Price Predictor on: July 15, 2023, 07:41:02 PM
A person cannot become a good predictor even after following all the steps unless he can change himself. So it is not a guarantee that following all the steps will make a good predictor. Self-discipline can make a person successful everywhere, so it is important to be a self-disciplined person to be a good trader, good predictor. Nice try OP, now it's a matter of seeing how one thinks and uses these things.
Price prediction is hard especially to a very volatile and unpredictable market like crypto. You may predict it correctly this time, but in the next days, you need to do a lot of analysis so you can foresee the price again, otherwise you will trade at a wrong timing. However, it’s not just good price prediction that matters, but also how you handle your risk management in trading, and how your behavior and attitudes are when you are trying to trade at a very unpredictable market.
Even the experts can't perfectly time the market all the time, they might make predictions based on research and analysis and get a close call but they wouldn't be able to have a perfect prediction, it happens but it doesn't happen all the time as you said, so one needs to understand that they should take a trade when they think the time is right based on their own research and gut feelings, though I wouldn't recommend going with gut feelings all the time.
True. The market also shakes out the experts, reacting against their analysis. Looking at the market movement in recent times can give some idea of how the market has liquidated the short/long traders. So many times even after doing proper analysis it is not possible to predict the next move of the market. So a trader needs to be aware of various things while doing short term trading. One thing a trader should keep in mind is that if he has funds in his trading account he can catch the next opportunity, because the market creates opportunities again and again, those who take advantage of those opportunities stay in the market. Therefore, since price prediction is so difficult, traders should focus on recharging the market by exercising patience and emotion control, thereby preventing them from making wrong decisions.
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why BITCOIN will never go to ZERO on: July 15, 2023, 05:52:19 PM
~~~
China or America is just a single country, they don't represent the whole world, so they are nothing. Even if China joins hands with the US, the two biggest powers in the world, to stop bitcoin, I believe they will not be able to stop it, let alone a China. It can be said that bitcoin going to 0 is unlikely, the probability of that happening is very low if not zero. In the past, I also had doubts about the future of bitcoin, but with what I have seen bitcoin achieve, those doubts have almost disappeared.
And that's why we think it's safe here. China has not completely impacted Bitcoin, but has temporarily impacted the market in the past. China, America most often create drama to create FUD against Bitcoin. But Bitcoin crushes all the negativity every time. Because no one has the power to stop Bitcoin, the more they ban Bitcoin, the more they try to control Bitcoin, the more Bitcoin's popularity will continue to grow. Bitcoin has a lot more to achieve, which we hope to see in the near future. So while no specific country can control Bitcoin, the Bitcoin community is huge and growing.
578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why BITCOIN will never go to ZERO on: July 15, 2023, 02:19:52 PM
Ten years ago people would have believed such a statement that the Bitcoin price would go to zero. But now no one will believe this who knows about Bitcoin. China has always been working against Bitcoin, creating one FUD after another and creating a negative impact on the market. But Bitcoin has overcome those negative effects every time and now Bitcoin has become an acceptable asset to the new generation.
You cannot expect the Chinese Communist government to give the citizens of China the right to conduct financial transactions freely. But no matter what China does against Bitcoin, at the end of the day Bitcoin is here to stay and in the future it will spread even faster to smart new generations ignoring the Chinese ban. So I think Bitcoin will never go to zero.
579  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $120k next year - by Robert Kiyosaki on: July 15, 2023, 02:00:51 PM
I think the price potential will soon reach $ 120k or even more in the next year due to many factors, of course the most influential main factor is the halving day which will make bitcoin easily go up 200% in a short time, if at the end of this year it can close at least $ 60k then I'm sure and optimistic that $120k will occur before the 2024 halving day.
Such positive thinking will drive Bitcoin higher in the years to come, and one day Bitcoin will achieve this target. In the area where Bitcoin is currently trading, this price was once a big deal to many Bitcoin investors. But we achieved a bigger target in the last bull market. So it is easily conceivable that after the next halving we could see another huge bull market and achieve the $120k target.
But the market will not go to that target overnight. Before this, the market will correct again to drive weak, impatient investors out of the market. So optimistic investors must know how positive the Bitcoin market trend can be in the coming years, and how to prepare for the next bull market.
580  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I become a successful Bitcoin investor as a newbies? on: July 15, 2023, 01:06:27 PM
For becoming a successful trader with bitcoin I think one thing is most important and that is the patience's. Also, the things you mentioned are not out of the norm. But it must be patient among bitcoin investors because only if patient can hold for long term and in long term bitcoin definitely brings a good profit. And for those who are not patient, I would say no to Bitcoin Training Mainly.
Patience is important to get good results from any investment. And if you invest in Bitcoin and hold patiently, you can certainly make good profits. But patience and knowledge are also required, if an investor does not have proper knowledge about Bitcoin then that investor will not be able to get good results from the market. Therefore, knowledge is important for all traders, investors, if you make a mistake in the market, the market will not give you another chance. Investors who have made huge gains from Bitcoin know exactly what Bitcoin is and how it works, because they have proper knowledge about Bitcoin.
Patience is definitely one of the most crucial aspects of trading, one cannot become a successful trader until one become too patient that they won't sell very easily no matter how bad market conditions might get sometimes, and this happens a lot of time with Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies where you buy them at one point and soon after, you will see that they've dropped below that point and your portfolio is at a loss at that moment.
In such a situation, someone who is patient can control their emotions and won't panic sell by seeing their portfolio being red but they keep holding until the market recovers back which is what it generally does and then they start selling their assets one by one.
When you are a Bitcoin investor you have to think smart, you know the market will bounce back from a certain point even if it goes below your bought area. Comparing Bitcoin with other cryptocurrencies would not be the right example, as we have seen cases where the top ranked coin in the market went to zero overnight. So Bitcoin investors who patiently observe the market and average their buying prices if they have funds in their trading account.
So being a bitcoin investor is a matter of patience, many big institutional investors bought bitcoins during the last bitcoin market dump and even had their portfolios down. Because they were smart enough and had faith in Bitcoin. As a result of their decision and patience, their portfolio is now up a lot. So being an investor is much more difficult than being a trader.
