161  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: July 29, 2014, 07:33:02 AM
we need a consumer product that can go on store shelves...

I think that's what he means in point 3 when he said "We announce the sales of our own devices." I might be wrong, it's a bit ambiguous.
162  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: July 29, 2014, 12:46:22 AM
Nicely scam kslaughter. Big fail shill zumzero!

Are you suggesting I got paid to delete your posts?  Kiss

Apparently you were just stupid enough to do it without getting paid.
163  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: July 25, 2014, 04:37:03 AM
I talked on QQ. During this salon they will announce gen3. (It is under a successful trial run already) . They will sell this directly through their own website as wel- their new website is live already.

Can you clarify what is meant here. "During this salon they will announce gen3". Gen3 was announced long ago. "They will sell this directly through their own website as wel- their new website is live already." Who's website?
164  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: July 01, 2014, 08:53:05 AM
What makes you think that's a scam?  Looks like a real piece of hardware built off of a specific design AM published a month or so ago as open source...  Remember?  The sexy one with the amazing heatsink design that everyone wanted just for looks.  Hell... I want one just to put on a shelf, fuck if it makes ROI!

you should not treat it seriously.

This is the scam, read between the lines man. Just a FUD attempt.
I contact the sales of this company. He said FC will confirm this ASAP.

AM Gen3 is selling at their own wafer cost. 40 PH/s of A1s
What are A1s? And how would anyone but asicminer know what the wafer cost is and that he is selling them for that amount?
Yes it has to be bullshit. Thank god fc doesn't need to resort to lies and cheap gossip.

That confused me too though. What motive does spondoolies have to lie about something like that?
166  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: June 25, 2014, 12:52:07 AM
Just an FYI: I own a small amount of shares in AM, have not and at the moment have no serious plans to purchase a SP10/30/etc.. Just wanted this information to be present before any questions make it to FC and rather not be called a troll or a FUDmaker.

Here is Spon dropping a tidbit of information during his/her/their trip to China for some conference or another.

That said-re chinese market. Guy, care to elaborate-you understand their marketing or price trends or whether they will develop 20nm or jump straight to 16nm?
Off topic, me to blame. I don't see a Chinese player doing more advance node anytime soon.
They're concentrating on maximizing profit and reducing cost and prices, short term.
AM Gen3 is selling at their own wafer cost. 40 PH/s of A1s
Lot's of low cost farms are being deployed. Seen some pictures.
3 shifts, 24 hours a day producing miners.

Here is Spon elaborating on exactly what he was referencing.

I think he is referring to the deal between DataTank and AM which was just reached 2 days ago? That is not Selling so much as a barter or trade, if I understand the deal correctly.

No. I'm referring to selling AM Gen3 ASICs to Chinese manufacturers in bulk.

You have word from legitimate sources that AM is selling their Gen3 ASICs to Chinese manufacturers in bulk at wafer costs? That is unheard of, thank you.

I wonder if the board is aware of this then..

From my understanding, this is not a smart, nor profitable idea.

Now I understand that Spon has reason to lie, I have yet to see them act in a deceitful or untrustworthy manner.

EDIT: A little more elaboration

Two bulk customers.

What are A1s? And how would anyone but asicminer know what the wafer cost is and that he is selling them for that amount?
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: When did Nakowa first show up? on: June 22, 2014, 03:48:29 AM
I also liked the response to the people who assumed that you were nakowa. Basically your defenders said that dooglus isn't that dumb. If he were going to steal, he wouldn't do it by blatantly assaulting the bank.

Right, so at the next level up, it would make sense to be nakowa, because it's so obvious nobody would believe it!

The issue now is that we don't know and have no way of knowing what IS or IS NOT happening with the business and we have the recent rebellion to thank for that.
We knew just as much before. For months we were getting non-answers from ken. He wouldn't tell us why the website wasnt getting updated. He wouldn't show us the financials. He wouldn't tell us what was happening with the chips. All we got were promises and missed deadlines.

The most insight we would get is "i'm working on something more important".

We still have no way of knowing what is going on with the business and that wasn't changed by anything related to the MSD.
169  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: June 14, 2014, 08:12:58 AM

at least I made an effort which is a damn sight more than most.

Including Ken.
The ASKen account stopped posting because shareholders stopped sending in questions.

And Ken had stopped responding to them.
170  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: June 12, 2014, 02:51:03 PM

Consider this list;

Data Centre functioning - At an unsteady rate
DC peaking at 100 TH/s - Well below promised capacity
Shares trading - check
Website - Still showing old products and outdated info
Hardware sales - Still struggling to sell, while other producers are struggling to keep up with demand
Repaying unsatisfied customers - check
Major deals incoming - CEO missed updates for the previous weeks and hasn't commented about anything. No mention of any upcoming deals.
MSD issue progressing - In not a particularly favorable outcome for the company
Cheap as chips shares - For a good reason
171  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: June 12, 2014, 02:00:36 PM
He needs to remain silent.  He told me.  He is optimistic for the future of the company.

Well as we've seen, Ken is nothing if not a man of his word.
172  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: June 12, 2014, 01:57:11 PM
Ken and a select few sail off into the sunset to earn our fortunes in divs.

Seems like Ken's already sailed off.
173  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: June 11, 2014, 12:55:05 AM
I hate to be the one to say it, but you have all been scammed.

Pretty sure everyone except zumzero is aware of that
174  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: June 09, 2014, 01:17:53 PM
The ActM Thread account has been locked down - only two of us have access. So the shenanigans will stop.

Can I ask who has access to it?
175  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: June 09, 2014, 10:03:12 AM
Why wait a week?

Because it's Ken.
176  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: June 09, 2014, 03:19:53 AM
We will soon start refunding...

Haven't heard that one before

Policy: The bank deposits and third-party payment systems for Bitcoin exchanges in China are all closed. Workarounds exist (like buying physical cards with deposit code) but the real trading volume is severely affected.

Conversion: We have OTC conversion channels to trade USD for Bitcoins in Hong Kong.

I guess you would have mentioned it if you knew... but, any estimate on when the next dividend payments would be?

unless i'm misunderstanding, probably not until we become cashflow positive.

What about our number 1 goal a few weeks ago?
Have there been any changes to the website since the announcement?

ASKen - A new account run by shareholders - Send us your questions and we'll do the rest!

...LET'S GET STARTED!

1) Ken, we are sure you are aware that shareholder confidence is at an all time low and people are starting to consider legal action.  How do you feel about being given an opportunity to turn things around and are you keen to embrace the efforts being made by the ASKen account by being more open in the future?

Yes, I will embrace the efforts being made by the ASKen account.

2) Ken, could you say a few words about eAsic.  Perhaps a summary of the history.  Shareholders have long wanted to know why the chips were never produced.

Right after we made the the deal with eASIC, hashfast and cointerra came out with their 400 and 500 GH/s chips, after having eASIC run our RTL on their platform and for the minimum number of chips we had to purchase, we did not have enough pre-orders to cover the purchase due to hashfast and cointerra selling 17 Million in machines.

Quote
3) With the declining price of bitcoin, hardware sales are becoming more important to the success of the company and yet the website is in desperate need of updating.  Please say a few words to explain why this issue has not been resolved yet.

We have been working on the datacenter to get the hash rate up.  Now, we are at the place of working on the website and this is our number 1 goal at the present time.

Kind regards,

ASKen

Everytime Ken has said that something is a top priority that something doesn't get worked on.

but thats clearly not happening

It's pretty clear that not a lot of anything is happening
180  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: May 29, 2014, 10:27:13 AM
Everyone needs to relax. Ken said he can't work on anything else because he's been too busy at the datacenter increasing the hashrate for the last week and a half. Can't you see it going through the roof http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1DJpsvnM7xTnQbWEhLYyCyfxQyxwupEzCa
