RF is trying to avoid civilian casualties

False.

But the raw evidence shows that it's true. I saw RF helping Ukrainian from getting out of the conflict zone. On the other hand, Ukrainian forces have been accused to beat Indian students who were trying to cross the Poland border. If RF does anything as they have done in Syria( I am talking about airstrikes) then we could see a high amount of civilian casualties already.

For Russia's war with Ukraine, the west put heavy sanctions on Russia. That means export and import with Russia is not accessible. Data shows Russia is the biggest exporter of raw materials like copper, aluminum, nickel, platinum, palladium, etc which is used in chip making. That means we are expecting more delays in the semiconductor industry. We all know how important this staff is to run electronic devices. Disruption on-chip shortages could spike the price of digital devices too which affects globally. Is that a good idea to push Russia out of the world economy? This sanction of the west could have a boomerang effect?

Nobody wants any conflict with Russia, it is them who have invaded a free and democratic country to expand their authoritarian tyranny. Unfortunately Putin has chosen this path and there is much suffering happening right now - mostly against civilians. Unless firm action is taken then he will never stop and he is looking more like Hitler every day. Yes there will be many economic consequences like the one you mention, but a stand must be taken if we are talking about defending the open societies that we live in today. When this sick old man is wiped from the planet all trade can quickly return to normal.

I do not want to take any side here but we should judge the situation from Russia's perspective too. What will you do if you find out that your neighbor has something that can be used against you to destroy you? Can you sleep peacefully? If you read the history of the soviet era then you will see what the USA did when they find out the soviet deployed missiles in Cuba. A nuclear conflict was very close. Everybody has the right to secure their border and make sure their neighbor keeps good relation with them.
163  Other / Politics & Society / How long ukraine could survive? on: March 03, 2022, 04:41:28 AM

Despite the effort of the USA and their ally Ukraine is losing ground every day. Kyiv could fall anytime and some major city is already under Russian control. RF would stop after the fall of Kyiv or does Putin has some other plan in mind? This prolonged war could drain the resource of the EU and Russia but in long term, it could bring some stability in that region or we could see another cold war?

Is that a good idea to push Russia out of the world economy? This sanction of the west could have a boomerang effect?

Very good idea and no it won't have a boomerang effect it will have a GAU-8 effect.

Let me ask you something if I'm the only doctor in a village, and without me, nobody could get an operation or medicine or treatment, are you going to allow me to take your house, beat your kids and rape your family just because I'm the only one providing that? Or are you going to kick me out and search for another doctor?
It's not so hard, use your brain!

Yes, you are right but rushing to do this causes damage to some people too. If you are willing to sacrifice that then it's okay. But EU needs gas for their industry and Russia and Ukraine combined supply 50% of total natural gas in the EU. So isn't it wiser to find an alternative first than punishing that oppressor?

I saw Ukrainian racism for Indian and black people. In some places, Ukranien beat those people. Their injustice behaves towards these people could lose support from their country.

But Putin also fights back the bigger empire that threatens his country land security.

Right. Ukraine "threatens" Putin because it might join NATO, so let's occupy Ukraine and have a new border with four actual NATO countries. Hmmm... there are more "threats" now. Gotta occupy them too.

Putin the little snowflake will not feel "safe" until he owns all of Europe. Even then, there is the US just across the pond...

I do not think Putin plans to occupy Ukraine and join it with mainland Russia. Ukrainian peoples are hostile towards Russians still RF is trying to avoid civilian casualties. I am assuming they are trying to keep their images and replace them with a puppet government in Ukraine. Putin knows annexation would cause more problems like insurgents and civilian unrest. Ukraine could be a buffer state between NATO and Russia.
167  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ukraine president a patriot or a mad man? on: February 27, 2022, 07:02:07 PM
It's not madness to call on your citizens to fight. It's practically their duty (though of course you can't really force them). This is still a better stance than that coward of an Afghan president Ghani that fled even before the Taliban reached Kabul.

It a good leadership from a leader to push his untrained people to certain death. Without any training giving arms to civilians means giving shoes to a tree that can not walk. Don't be so emotional on the battlefield. Be logical or you will only get a mountain of dead bodies. It's zelnesky's shortsightedness that he failed to prevent this situation. He throws his people into an unnecessary war.

Very little time to train since the Russians are already outside Kyiv. This is why I advocate a mandatory training like they do in South Korea. At least your population know how to use equipment.

come on he treated like 40% of his population like a scion subrace, he is a a nazi and it was an extremly corrupt government,

the so called attack or "invasion" was nothing else but an attempt to catch the corrupt leadership

It's the western media that is showing him as a hero or savior of their people. A leader who cares about his people will try to save them from any damage. But I think he is trying to show the world that Russia is doing war crimes by killing civilians. Very selfish decision by a leader of the country.

The USA was warning them for a long time that Russia will attack. Why don't he gives them basic training them that time? Why request them to pick up arms now!
168  Economy / Economics / Re: Putin next steps and where it may fail spectacularly on: February 27, 2022, 12:56:29 PM
1- negotiating and eventually accepting failure
2- "Stalin mode" - to arouse fear and demeanor
3- troop regrouping and ultimatums - "Kiev has 2 days to surrender or the nuclear bombs will make it disapear"

So is Putin spending 20 billion per day over mercenary, separatist, and Chechen guerilla fighters? If Putin only doing these to annex Ukraine then I must say he is dumb. But is that really that simple? I do not think so. What if Putin attacks Poland or other Eastern NATO countries with Belarus? What is the meaning of keeping the main forces in reserve and sending mercenaries to the battlefield? Why did he send 2000 mercenary troops to occupy Kyiv? We need these answers to understand what is going to happen. possibilities of Using nuclear weapons is close to zero. They are trying to minimize civilian casualties till now so using nuclear arms makes no sense.

169  Economy / Economics / Re: Who gain's from War ? on: February 27, 2022, 12:43:46 PM
I'm right here, Argument with my mate about the current invasion by Russia in Ukraine.
He just told me countries make money from war, could it be the journalist alone ? Government who please, I'm juvenile at this.

Not journalists but countries who are manufacturing arms and weapons of destruction, a war in this era is measured by the number of rockets, tanks, and missiles that a country-owned so they amassed a lot of arms, to protect themselves and occupied one's country, just like what's happening to Russia and Ukraine, rich countries are allocating funds to create these weapons and also make profit from selling them.

That's why the USA is trying to prolong the war. Germany recently announced that they budget $113 Billion for the modernization of their military and every year from 2022 they are going to spend 2% of their total budget on the military. Now other EU countries like Poland, Georgia, Hungary, Romania will also expand their military budget and USA will be the biggest arms supplier here.

I'm very proud of him, you see  that's how it should be at times good leaders lead from behind, but in the situation you need to show your strength and not run from your responsibility.
My countries president won't do this so I think he is my Champion, I think he is the first president I have seen at this.
Hopefully he wins at the end of the day, all of Ukraine fighting for their rights will surely win.

171  Other / Politics & Society / Is the ultimate plan to bring back former soviet territory? on: February 27, 2022, 12:07:28 PM

I have seen on multiple occasions where Russian tanks are flying the Soviet flag. What is their intention? Do they want to claim back the old territory of the soviet union? They are trying to minimize the damages of infrastructure and avoided civilian casualties. It looks like they want to gain support from Ukrainian and reuse those infrastructure. Their goal is to add Ukraine with Russia. But Putin will stop here if succeed to do these or this plan is far greater?
172  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the possibility that US will join the war between Russia and Ukraine? on: February 27, 2022, 11:46:36 AM
I think US made it clear that they won't be directly involved in the war between Russia and Ukraine. At least that what I saw in the news. They will try to support Ukraine via arms, funds, Aid and slapping sanction to Russia.

The only way they may get involved in the direct war is when big-headed Putin tries to attack on of the neighboring NATO countries. In fact, they have already ordered deployment of 7,000 troops to  Germany

Don't trust them. NATO is already involved unofficially. They sent black troops to Kyiv. I do not think Putin will stop only by occupying Ukraine. His goal is something bigger than we can expect. Annexation of Ukraine only is far more costly for Russian so it doesn't make any sense. A former KGB operator must be a cunning foe and pre-planned for everything. Attacking Ukraine could be a diversion and if that's true then Poland could be the ultimate target. All these are expectations right now but we can not deny this possibility.
173  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ukraine president a patriot or a mad man? on: February 26, 2022, 12:59:16 PM
He lost options but to show his people that he can die for the country. that's patriotism in a way. There is still another option and its to accept becoming neutral, Reject NATO and surrender before his men are slaughtered. And in the end, his people will hate him instead if more are dead. It's yet not too late since Putin still offers the negotiation table. It doesn't even matter whether Zelensky is right or wrong, he loves his people, better not let them be slaughtered.

What kind of love is this when you are calling your untrained civilians to pick up arms including under-aged children? He asks all the people to create Molotov and attack the Russian convoy. I saw videos where people are really doing it. That is total stupidity because that's not a protest with the govt where you are throwing rock and moltove to the armed forces. They will be slaughtered if Russian arms forces change their mind to be brutal punishers. Zelensky just wants to show Russia is doing war crimes by killing civilians and that is why he is trying to push civilians in front of the world's most trained arm forces.
174  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Stop saying War War War and Pray. on: February 26, 2022, 12:39:01 PM
This is a repeat of 1938-1939.

Yes, WWIII has started.

You are overthinking the situation. Currently, most of those troops that are fighting in Ukraine from the Russian side are contractors. NATO also deployed mercenaries on the battlefield. Main Russian forces are still on standby mode and they are only using 1/4 of their total strength. Putin's main objective is still unknown and the troop's deployment of Russia is making no sense. It looks like Putin has some other plan.
175  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ukraine president a patriot or a mad man? on: February 26, 2022, 12:31:01 PM
Oddly seeing insurmountable pile of propaganda clips, some perhaps not even from the current events, with what appears to be Ukrainian forces either killing or displaying dead Russian soldiers. Gives the impression that the Ukrainians will not get slaughtered if this continues on.

Yes, too much false news from ukraniens general and western media. First CNN reported that the Russian navy slaughtered 13 Ukrainian armed personnel from the sneak island but today Russian media shows with proof they are not dead and there were 80 men on that island. Ukrainians are hiding their casualties. I saw a video clip where a full Ukraine convoy was destroyed and soldier flash is burning. Too little news about the actual events.
176  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ukraine president a patriot or a mad man? on: February 26, 2022, 11:58:48 AM
We all know the president of Ukraine is still in Kyiv and he is urging his citizens to use Molotov to attack Russia. In this intense fight, he is still in the capital shows his patriotism or being forced to stay there for unable to flee the country? But isn't it madness to call your citizen to pick up arms before providing them any training? Ukraine govt distributed 18000 arms to its citizen.
Do you suggest it's better to stop?
Guys, this war isn't typical war between Russia and Ukraine, this war will have significant effect on western world.

Let me clarify what's happening and what's the reason.
Ukraine wants to join European Union and NATO. They want to develop, they want high quality of life without corruption and nepotism. They don't want to be under the influence of the Russian government because Russia brings regress and Western countries bring progress. Have you ever been in Russian countries? The only cities where people really live are Moscow and Saints Peterburg, other cities are dead!

If Ukraine fails in this war, this means that countries like Ukraine (Moldova, Georgia) will be punished if they ever dream to become a member of a Western family. It means that they are and will always be under the claws of Russia.

Ukraine fights for its rights!

I am not suggesting anything. I am just concerned about the life of general Ukrainian. Their president is pushing them towards unnecessary death. I have seen the Russian arm force try to minimize civilian casualties for a couple of days. According to the geneva convention killing a non-combatant in a war is a war crime but as soon as these civilians pick up arms they won't be non-combatant. Russian troops will have an excuse to do a massacre.

178  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where are the guts of NATO & the US? on: February 25, 2022, 08:12:49 AM

Do we really think Putin cares about the sanctions right now..?  Maybe he cares about them in a month from now, but by then how many innocent people would have died?  How much destruction will be caused? How much momentum will a mad man gain by such a minimal response to an invasion?.. is a precedent being set?  How different will (worse) could this situation be in 1 month?

Putin doesn't care about US sanctions because he was prepared for them for a long time. Russia has only 16% of its reserve in USD. It's a huge country that has the technology to survive without any foreign help. Despite this Putin make a deal with China to trade and the market of china is so big that it can sustain Russia's economy. Putin knew attacking Ukraine would cause heavy sanctions from the west and he already prepared for this situation.
179  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WW III ? on: February 24, 2022, 11:10:46 AM
EU countries have very little interest in Ukraine over Russia. The same facts are true for the USA too and are seen by their actions. The USA wants war for doing business by selling arms. They are more interested in exporting arms to Ukraine rather than helping them by armed forces. But we can not say for sure things won't turn towards something else. The USA is known for its wickedness and they could see this as an opportunity to demolish Russian dominance. Though the chance of Turning this into a world war is little however an unwise move from one side could spark it.
180  Other / Politics & Society / Power shifting of superpower's? on: February 24, 2022, 10:02:44 AM
After the fall of the soviet union, we have seen total domination in the world power of the USA. There was no single power left to challenge the USA till the financial crisis in 2008.  Post Obama govt things seem different in the global power. A joker president in the history of USA weekend the power of USA when Putin done significant progress to get back the former glory of Russia. On the other side, China is taking a breath close to the neck of the USA with its enormous growth economically and militarily. It's for the sure USA can no longer keep its single domination as a powerhouse in the future. The world is heading towards a multipolar world power system?

We could see a world order close to Samuel P. Huntington's "The Clash of Civilizations"?
