Hello Igotspots.

I just want to thank you for this awesome coin.
Every day they stake it gives me an excitement to see the flash in my screens corner saying you received a few bucks.

Unfortunately I sold around 10% but will buy them back as soon as I have a few spare BTC.

Good luck with all your hard work and your daily updates are appreciated.
You will be even more grate full when you find out how much he scammed you.  Wink

@Ricky : what is the weight of your wallet versus the network ?
doesn't look wrong to me, although the double stakes/same time is weird
do you have any explanation?
this is just too awesome  Cheesy  Welcome to da Internetz

you guys double/triple/quadruple claimed the new GorillaBucks and dumped.... you cheated. this is called thieving.

Now, you want to "re-launch" teeth (or other originals igs' coins) that were already at least double claimed and dumped by you guys?

the name fits perfectly : internet magic money.
supported by thieves that are dressed as superheros. poor you.

you should better use your precious time and money for education, learning and travelling instead of fighting internetz wars that shows you are either mentally challenged or simply addicted, like a meth user, to this crypto ponzi scam where the rich manipulators and developers are sucking you in. Sometimes, it's better to accept you lost $500 than to loose time trying to recover it. You have just 1 life to live. you are going insane batshit crazy and full retard. wake up.

I will keep reading here for the lulz and I hope vegasguy could continue making me laugh with his supreme intelligence  Cheesy

best of luck guys.
Fucking hypocrite !
You know damn well what is going on, if not Spots is also scamming you Cock Sucker !  Cheesy

Hi guys,

I have made a few changes to the wallet. Please download the binaries from the OP.

Changelog:

  • New Version Number to prevent the TEETH wallets from connecting.
  • Added a seed node.

There is also a link bellow that one to test the static build wallet. This is to prevent the error message about not finding the libwinpthread-1.dll.
To test this you only need to run it from a folder that does not contain that file. Please post the results.

General warning: Only trust the links directly from the OP.
Static build works no problems.

I think he was referring to the forums and not the projects, he said updates will appear on twitter and youtube etc but he is sick of the forums, could be wrong but that's what I understood from the linked thread.

oh alright thanks..I don't blame him for leaving this forum though..I have seen lot of devs being treated like crap in past. no big deal..things go on as usual.
Some bullshit, I guess you are also one of the clique aka Spots girlfriends ?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1125120.msg11903922#msg11903922
Very convenient to ignore pages of posting where he treats ppl like shit.
Never mind that fact that calling him a "dev" is of great insult to ppl who can really program a decent wallet.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: iGotSpots Scam Dev on: July 17, 2015, 05:26:46 PM
As far as I can see some guys are trying to steal his old gorillateeth and now complaining about it? He also mentioned that when he changed from gorillateeth to gorillbucks people were double claiming and then they dumped.

If you don't like him how about use your own head and create your own coin instead of stealing his gorillatetth?  Huh

I don't own many gorillabucks so I could careless either way. I personally didn't think creating new coin was such a good idea....I hope anyone reading this would NEVER rename their own coin.

same goes for DASH too..I sold the moment it changed its name.

BTC doesn't need to change its name because there is no need to. You can make changes without creating new names and losing old investors.

Hey,

Spots created GorillaTeeth and Vary a month or two ago. Before that he got people to mail him 100$ to get old Bucks at 1$ per BUCK. MMXIV had been running for a year.

This is what their emission was by the time of the snapshot:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1059159.msg11739761#msg11739761
Quote from: iGotSpots

Its interesting to ask why he chose this model of distribution in the first place. Why not give each of the coins an equivalent weight determined by its market cap median for the last month or so. This would be fair.

This is my conjecture with facts thrown in for pattern recognition.

1. Spots bought a boat load of BALLS and 10K when they were at 1 sat.
2. Then had a great idea. "Lets merge this two and crunch them" <-
2a. Since he knew before hand he was going to do this he made sure to get his lorry full before he announced this.
3. The merge and crunch happen and he has many TEETH.
4. The exchange happened and he got about 20K TEETH, if i remembered correctly.
4a. But the poor guy had to pay from his own pocket some fees and stuff, because people are mean...
5. There was a problem with the staking formula because some people only staked for the 6480% blocks. And this diluted his big advantage.
6. He launches vary as a test chain (which gets in some exchanges despite being a "test").
  a. Vary rewards 1 coin per POW block.
  b. POW lasts until the bazillionth block.
  c. He asks people not to rent hashing power for this because its just a test chain.
  d. For the initial blocks the difficulty was extremely small ensuring someone with good hash power would get many blocks.
  e. The staking rewards SMALL blocks.
  f. There is not a block explorer despite this coin is traded on reputable exchanges.
7. Then he has the great idea of merging the four coins. Who do you think came out on top?
7a. But the poor guy had to pay from his own pocket some coins and stuff, because people are mean...

Not to mention the that time (that I noticed) when the TEETH chain went back about 1 or 2k blocks (it was 2 days worth I think).

You guys do understand that the one who controls the checkpoint server controls the chain, right? Decentralization, schmentralization.

Having said that lets address your accusations.

Huh

Oh my. Clueless much?

There is beauty in crypto. No, its not earning da big bucks.
The beauty lies in the fact that a bunch of guys who see some ego-maniacal little wannabe despot trying to control their money, they can say:
"No! That's what the banks are for." Do you even understand this?

I invested in Teeth and with spots always wanting the upper hand, I would lose big. Still I didn't give him a hard time. I just wanted to keep the TEETH chain moving, change its name and try to keep part of my "investment" (Yes, I am in the alts snakepit for the money too).

First spots said it was OK, then he changed his mind and started to make threats about pulling his weight with the exchanges to not accept the spin-offs.
(I blame Vegas and his Monkey Boy Coin for it. No hard feelings though.  Kiss )

Then came the "Oh noze, poor me. I was scammed and had to pay triple the coins in existence because of this". And one of you guys had the brilliant idea of blaming the Spin-Off gang for it.

I asked spots to clear it up and he deleted my post.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1108502.msg11887787#msg11887787

Yeah, I did not like that so, I sent this cutie to a bunch of guys (Beware, it has some 3rd Grader Humour inside) .
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1108502.msg11892995#msg11892995

You got it too, but didn't understand its implications and didn't bother to try to.

But here you are:
If you open the transactions there you can see that they are (almost) all POS stake.
http://gorillabucks.info/address/B4XhnyE1y78kiFdBPmmWkLYCAf5rocQ41G

If you open one of them you will see that the stake only gets sent to one address.
http://gorillabucks.info/tx/4696d3c023b3312acc092347cee90f08f5cb944e392bfd4121e6b37a5fbcadc3

As opposed to the normal stakes that get sent to two addresses
http://gorillabucks.info/tx/9601f42fbb2bd84c79c2292fcde6b9fab74751643a748daf5ae29283d82ccfa3

Not to mention the fact that there are no stakes bellow 5 BUCKS.

Now this may not seem much, but imagine if more guys discover this. You can say goodbye to your gorillabands income.

This is waaaay to long already. And I'm sure I forgot something. But I am done here.

Except, as this is Bitcointalk, I am going to have to add personal offenses . iGotSpots is a fucking twat and you are too dumb to see that.

tldr;

I don't understand point of this garbage. You aren't hurting spot..you're hurting people who bought his coin by spreading this rumor. If you have problem with him then you should deal with him personally in civilized manner instead of spreading this garbage that's too long to read.

I bought MMXIV because I thought it had potential and price was falling...soon I realized that trex was going to remove it so I had to convert it to bucks. Now, I'm waiting on bucks to rise to certain price so I can sell it yet you come here and spread this garbage. Who do you think you're hurting?

I sure as hell won't be selling my coins for 3k sat no matter what you say...I have seen shit coins rise to good value so there is still my hope. I don't care what part of your story is true and what is false.. I just care about my investment just like other investors.

stop spreading rumors..whether they are false or true no one gives a shit because we simply don't care about your opinion and petty concerns.

on the other hand if you really want people to feel sorry for you...wait till Bucks has hit 10k so people can even out and they'll be on your side once they're out of the market but right now it's just annoying to see this garbage.

Either way..I have tiny amount of Bucks so I could careless what happens next but for fck sake stop this drama. no one wants to read 10 pages of garbage about how spots is evil and you're not.

So when GorillaBucks or any other coin is compromised you want to keep it quiet so you can sell for a good price before it collapse Huh
What a joke !
Exactly keeping quiet that GorillaBucks is compromised is more damaging then inform people about it.
Not to mention that it prevents others from getting screwed.
Unlike you I do care and have 20K+ of that shitcoin a shit coin that is compromised.

Why is everyone picking on iGotspots?

I've never had a problem with him.

~BCX~

Not everyone is picking on Spots, it seems to be a Clique of troublemakers who are kicking up a fuss because they could not bully him into doing what they want Wink

He's always done right by me also.

Quoted this above and bolded it because people that have been around here for few months already and followed the drama in Spots' threads know this is a fact : there is a keyboard warriors game playin' since months now and since the bullies can't win over the "douche"-type and very impulsive temper of iGotSpots, then this escalated to all this.

Am I they only one looking at this thread and seeing a low age and/or IQ level? Just sayin' don't fight back over that last assumption please cuz it's just my thought of how this thread and actors here look like.  Undecided

this thread is full of non-sense and semi-lie. It's very pathetic to read the "info gathered" by Ricky Petrovich.  You guys don't even know how ridiculous you look like when you post here some "facts" that are simply suppositions. I can even see some patterns in the postings and replies that clearly indicate that -at least- 2 or 3 shill bct accounts are being used by one guy to help giving weight to his, sadly lost, battle.  I'm also surprised to not see vegasguy posting more here... he's such a completely ridiculous liar and mentally challenged guy that if he was posting more here, that would greatly add more lolz and facepalms to this crappy thread.

@vashshawn
@nikkers
@gnargnar

Always fun to see the same clique of Spots girl friends twisting and turning the facts.
You girlie's are full of shit as he is, I guess that happens when you suck his dick.
Do you girls swallow everything that comes out of it ?

175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: iGotSpots Scam Dev on: July 15, 2015, 11:38:35 PM
About scammers in general :

It's a well known fact that in the process of getting/stealing money from their victims they often completely destroy peoples lives and they don't care at all.
When they get the same in return then they are like cry baby's.
Have to admit I enjoyed reading his complaints about it, well deserved.

I am also not impressed by the fact that he used 80K of his Bucks to pay for people who more then once send a private key for the "new" Bucks.
The whole idea of these private keys was as he told us the avoid people abusing a swap.
Guess what happened, indeed exactly that.

Then we can add that my gut feeling tells me that he holds most of the coins and that these 80K is nothing as such.
Not to mention how he got them in the 1st place.

Anyway, he locked his thread, 3rd time, in the process deleting as usual postings.
He hates BCT forums, call it a shit forum, but he needs it to do his dirty work.
Would not surprise me we will open it again, soonish...
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Gorilla TEETH Spin off on: July 14, 2015, 05:44:39 PM
Hi guys,

Please weight in on this.

The idea I have for Old TEETH is to ramp up supply to ~1 million during one month with decreasing rewards every week. And then have a constant reward system from then on.

This is the proposed reward system:

 Week 1:  (2700 blocks) : 110 coins/block
 Week 2:  (2700 blocks) :  60 coins/block
 Week 3:  (2700 blocks) :  30 coins/block
 Week 3:  (2700 blocks) :  10 coins/block
Afterwards constant reward of 5 coins / block

After this initial fase the total emission would be about 55k per month ad eternum.

Other specs:
Target block time: 4 mins.
Coinbase maturity: 30 blocks (2 hours)
Min coinage: 360 blocks (1 day)

Would you guys like to see an initial POW/POS fase?

This a great start, I would like to see a POW for a short time just to increase the amount I have. maybe up to 5000 blocks worth of  POW. I'd mine now if it has some sort of reward.
POW is great for just a very few like yourself that have the access to gear.
POS only give everyone the same chance to increase their holdings.

Fuck POW !

That's a whole new coin, too many changes or indeed start something completely new.

Change coinbase maturity :ok
Keep current reward system.
NO POW, there was a reason why most of us got into POS.
Do you plan to keep old tx of 1 teeth (which is perfect) ?

Do you have idea for a new name ?
Anything that does not contain or start with Gorilla, Monkey, Ape or any other animal would be great.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [HYP] HyperStake | High PoS | Secure | MultiSend | liteStake | Adv Coin Control on: July 04, 2015, 02:04:02 PM
lol superhereo's.

Yes, if you wanna go hardcore, smaller smaller smaller. At least 80% of my blocks are less then 2k and about 50% less then 1.5k to 500.... but you do need a shit ton of coins (100k?) to really make that strategy work.

I keep scratching my head when people on cryptsy troll box are complaining about not staking often enough with 500k+ HYP and blocks of 10-15k each. MAybe just goes to show more blocks is better.
Don't you need both ?
More tickets more chances but when stacks compete does the one with high weight wins from low weight stacks ?

Not necessarily. The one with high weight only has more chances, it doesn't mean that it will win. Every block has a unique set of parameters that are hashed, and the result depends only on chance. A hash can be much lower than the bits threshold even for a block with a small weight (while other big blocks haven't produced such a small hash).
Yes I know, I also have rewards coming in after just 9 or 10 days.
But still in general and to use your words :
"The one with high weight only has more chances, it doesn't mean that it will win"
And that's what matters when it comes trying to max out your staking.
So the more stacks and the higher the weight the better.

sure)

but keep in mind the return.
Yes, that's the fun part, trying to figure out the optimum.
Current stack size 6K.
Thanks for your help !

All I've done is open up the proper ports in the virtual server on my router. The router is like 5 or 6 years old...I have allowed private connections in my firewall but not public connections for my wallets with my OS firewall. Am I supposed to allow public connections?
You should open port on router AND firewall from os.
Right now only outgoing connections are possible, getpeerinfo in debug should confirm this.

I'm not even sure what I am looking at. I don't think it would be advisable for me to open all the ports.

"banscore" : 0,

This is what you are looking for :
"inbound" : true

inbound = incoming if true you are indeed getting incoming connections.

Of course you should never open all ports, just the one that your app needs.
But you just had the connection limit problem.
Should have thought about that one, but I always use my own default conf file for any QT wallet and my default setting is maxconnections=100.

Anyway just a short while ago I had the same problem only 2 connection outgoing only.
This happened after I made some changes in my port settings from my router.
So easy to relate and a restart solved it.
Also a standard thing to try when you have strange things happening after installing software/hardware or playing with a router.
Reboot or restart !  Smiley
