161  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Generating private keys on USB flash drive bootable Linux on: July 20, 2023, 04:14:57 PM
That’s nice, I am more confused now.
So if I am generating an address, making it offline, and if I am supposed to Air-Gap the address then I’m basically making it clear those funds aren’t for my use. It’s like I should be using this technique of saving my funds as if they are gonna sir their for very long period of time. Just like making it a cold wallet.

I don’t know, basically this is similar to one of my smartphone that I use to store my funds on. It’s old so I’m not using it but having a wallet on it and it is turned off so that I can keep it safe. I only turn it on occasionally to update the app and phone software’s.

I assume it’s somehow an air-gap? I think I am safe then with my technique too.
162  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How many combinations will there be? on: July 20, 2023, 03:13:14 PM
Hi there guys,

What is the topic about? What combinations are those?

Is it for cracking 256 bits? Someone please explain  Grin

I hardly think that it has got anything to do with the cracking of combinations of 256 hash. It has got nothing to do with any sort of cracking. I believe OP just needed a solution to mathematical problem of subset segregation.

I am so surprised to see so many solutions for a single problem. The math subject really seems fun on this thread and I would be very honest with you guys, even my math teacher was not this good to teach us the basic math.

Mind is blown right now seeing that you guys went even further and wrote a script for the same. Lolz.
No wonder, maths is fun but I skipped it. Eh.  Tongue
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kuwait Bans Bitcoin and crypto payments, investement and mining on: July 20, 2023, 02:47:18 PM
It doesn’t matter at all. This country had no significant contribution in the Bitcoin market at all. I don’t think having its geography near to UAE makes any different as well? They are not dependent country on the nearby countries of UAE so it really matters nothing. In fact any countries adoption or non adoption doesn’t mean anything to anyone. I believe this is going to be just another news in getting printed at some corner of the news paper and thrown in the dustbin after a day or so.

In fact most of the internationals would have never came to know about this news if it wasn’t posted here. It’s just the forum where we hear such news.

Frankly I never go online try to dig information whether any country has banned it or not. It means nothing. Bitcoin doesn’t really care about it.
164  Economy / Economics / Re: Building a prosperous business on: July 19, 2023, 06:48:10 PM
Even before getting into it and start following the above points one should have basic component at their hands called as “funding”. Depending on the nature of business one needs to decide funding prior to planning an idea to make it reality. This is important because adjusting funds after getting into funds could be disaster or in other words it could bring unwanted struggles on our way. I have seen this example very closely with relatives. It’s another fact that they managed to pick up a speed after bank approvals went through and they had money to spare. Rest is obviously what you mentioned in the article is all about step by step workflow to successful business.
165  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Generating private keys on USB flash drive bootable Linux on: July 19, 2023, 05:52:01 PM
Thank for the good advices. However, it confuses me on one point and that's using the tools offline. For example, there is one bitcoin generator from the GitHub that can be used to generate the address randomly or simply you can have one click address generation. There is a notice from the developer of this tool, "you should use this tool offline for added security". Now the question is what guarantees all of us that when we use these tools offline they do not just go and upload the data that was generated? Like after getting connected with the internet at some point.

I am just raising this doubt out of the safety concern itself. With the growing programming knowledge it may happen that devs can easily implant a program like this within the address generator set to send the info once it is online.

Has there been any discussion about this?
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: July 19, 2023, 05:07:08 PM
This study might have been done in one country but it can not predict entire woman class. There are countries where woman is more confident in her choices than the other countries. If we gonna pick the study from less blessed woman (or country) then it may happen she would end up having more failures. It could be her community, surrounding environment or people who aren’t much supportive. Now if we want to dig further then I am pretty sure we would end up segregating this topic to cultural aspects, religions, and faith that can again change the mindset of a woman.

Many things goes into it. In general same applies to male as well. It’s all about the opportunities, knowledge and surrounding treatment. It may not really about man and woman.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sold the altcoins and invested in Bitcoin" on: July 19, 2023, 04:20:19 PM
You are always better than being late in the Bitcoin Investment. It’s really good that you have switched from the Altcoins to Bitcoin. I would even recommend to keep buying more if you can afford any further investment as the whole world brace themselves for the Bitcoin Halving process. Don’t forget we are going to see more repeatative up and down cycles than the previous year because it’s gonna be complex market ahead. However, behold there is amazing pump that’s on our way once halving starts and miner reward goes down. To compensate the halved reward mostly price aggregates a lot. This is proven with previous halving processes. Hope so you will hang tight and don’t forget you have entered the market at just right time.
168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10 tips to manage one's emotions while trading crypto. on: July 19, 2023, 03:11:14 PM
May be does not even start with trading and controlling the emotions. One should have this power of controlling emotions naturally or should be developed in general. Not just when we are ready to trade and then we should start controlling.

According to me, I believe this is strong type of feeling based on our hormones. If you start to control it in day to day life then you would never fail at trade “emotionally”. That’s what I think. There are many scientifically proven ways to do this and one of the vital way is “Yoga”. It’s best game changer one can experience.

It might sound I am talking way different.

Everyone talks about you should control the emotions. The real question is how? Better everyone try to develop different ways to do it like Yoga and Meditation.
169  Economy / Economics / Re: Population: Economic strength or weakness on: July 19, 2023, 11:38:50 AM
There is one big factor that can change everything about the theory mentioned above. The reason why you see differences between the nations as per their population and economic growth success or unsuccess lies within the "literacy" rate of that particular nation.

Some nations are highly developed, they have 100% literacy rate and also they have thin population but they would always contribute more to the economy. Yes this is true because all of the literate people know value of contributing to the society or how to overcome the so called poverty line.

However, if you increase the population but not the literacy rate within the country then it could be disastrous. For example, country where literacy is less, but population is too much then they will have more debts than contribution. Since they will have less employment, thus it will contribute to unskilled workers and hence cheap wagers, cheap economy. That is how I look at the current economic ratio as compared to the population of that country.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything you wanted to know about BTC futures but were afraid to ask! on: July 18, 2023, 07:56:32 PM
This article is really helpful for new trader like me and anyone who has not deeply involved with the futures trading. I am going to be very honest, I find the futures trading very complicated as well as very risky type of trading. It literally makes me think I’m better at HODL rather than lose everything in blink of any eye.

Anyways coming to the point the article seems thorough one. I read through the abbreviations given. This itself clears many facts about the futures and it’s further steps.

As expert in the futures, what steps would you recommend to new trader in the field of Futures trading.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? on: July 18, 2023, 05:18:56 PM
I think yes it can make significant difference within the person. Since it’s a passion one can easily reach the goals quicker because they are clear and straight. When a person opens any random business then there might be many challenges that could come across. For example, learning the new business, learning new skills may be, starting from scratch and much more. However, if you see the examples above then they followed their dreams. They followed something that they know very well and hence the path was more easier and lucid. I would definitely vote up this situation as compared to the non passionate use case.
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is Gamble gain more fans than Bitcoin? on: July 18, 2023, 04:47:33 PM
There seems bit confusion in the article and what you asking. Article is all about the gambling games, gambling, and cryptocurrencies. It doesn’t really tell us whether we have more fan list in the gambling or in the Bitcoin. I think this comparison isn’t valid since we are comparing a “service” with the “currency”. I am not able to populate any sort of comparison points here. We are doing comparison between a currency that is actually being used to make transaction on gambling sites. One is part of pure investment and one is literally way to gamble your money (bitcoin/fiat) etc. I think it’s better to keep them different.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing Private Keys with Colors, how safe is this? on: July 18, 2023, 03:00:20 PM
Unless and until I am not sure about the exact pattern of conversion and also safety standard I may not get involved with modern ways of conversions. I would rather prefer to keep my bitcoins on paper wallet and Store it somewhere safe. I had very bad experience with the software wallets such as mycelium and others when it comes to backing up and importing the previously generated address.

With such coded messages I don’t want to complicate it even further. What if colors are read in wrong way? How many combinations it would generate with just 8 color codings? I don’t know everything seems ambiguous at this stage. But let’s hope they will have full proof System soon. It’s always welcomed.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin leave to be decentralized on: July 17, 2023, 06:35:57 PM
We already have fiat if someone wants to use the centralised currency. There are many other assets that are centralised too and valuable too that we use on daily basis. Whether it’s precious metal or commodity or bonds we have it. I don’t think Bitcoin or basically crypto should be dragged into this.

Bitcoin can enter into realm of centralised economic circle but it will happen indirectly or it is happening soon.  Considering most of the big financial institutes are now forcing the applications of Bitcoin ETF and even ETHER ETF things gonna get worst. On the verge of centralisation indirectly.
175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can gambling and crypto trading be considered as skills with $10k gain a month? on: July 17, 2023, 05:40:52 PM
This is absolutely possible to achieve. In fact there are influencers and other categories in which people are earning more than 10k per month after they reach specific target audience. Some of the popular blogs even earn hundreds of thousand dollars with write up alone.

The niche that you have mentioned is absolutely on the right track but that needs to be planned and executed like pro player.

When it comes to trading and gambling they both stand out differently. Trading definitely need lot of dedication but gambling is completely fun type of way to earn money. Does it need skills, yes definitely but not entirely. Everything is way to earn and needs to assessed on personal level all the time.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To Understand the Potential of BTC, What we Must Know? on: July 17, 2023, 04:51:16 PM
Bitcoins true potential is in its use case. Many users tend to expose about their Bitcoin holdings, how much they earn in bitcoin, how much they posses in their wallet. Slowly when these users start spending it to those known people then it start connecting the dots further with the blockchain being public and all the transaction history being preserved. One can trace back to that first owner easily and could be unrealistic to think what might happen.

Now this is what makes Bitcoin “pseudonymous” in nature.

If a full privacy is needed then we have mixers all over the internet now. With little fees we can easily get full safety of our Bitcoins.

That is what people needs to understand. “How to be private and use Bitcoin to its fullest”.
177  Economy / Economics / Re: Is poverty a lack of money? on: July 17, 2023, 04:22:38 PM
Doesn’t seem like right to say it but in the modern age, having no money is definitely sign of poverty. Things are so costly that you can’t keep up with the basic needs also. The food and water which should have been the easy to get stuff is now on the shelves costing 5-10x higher than the base price. In the name of quality and brands we eat food at higher rates.

Why? Because wealthy people have no issue buying it because they can afford it and they are rich because they have money. If you just compare above statement with the definition of poverty then you got my point. Sad but true.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You are still very early on: July 16, 2023, 05:22:16 PM
Great, needed this one so that I can speak some good words from my end as well. I have already surpassed the phase where I used question like this or think whether it’s right time or wrong time to get into bitcoin, whether I am late in the party and shit like that. Now I have already got my answers in that I am already in the possession of Satoshi which are my savings and hodling for the right time. I’m gonna ripen them and as you said be a Bitcoin OG one day. More than that I have kinda got a gut feeling that this times Bitcoin Halving is going to be crazy. Since there are now more people into bitcoin than all the previous halving. So let’s be ready for this and just nail it guys. Hodl.
179  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's get rid of all regulations, what can possibly go wrong on: July 16, 2023, 04:41:26 PM
That is so bad tragedy and I’m so sorry for the people onboard man. Must have been horrifying incidence. Yes I agree that rules and regulations are for the controlled environment and they have their own benefits. People always feel restricted when they are under the influence of regulation but they are there for their own good. Just like an example given in the OP there is also another associated with the medical field. If someone is getting educated in the field of virology and bio engineering then they could just make bioweapon and make sick world. But this doesn’t happen because most of the clinical studies are strictly monitored by FDA or other relevant authorities. In similar ways trading, supply chain, import export and everything that can create chaos if not regulated is under the influence of government all the time. Definitely worth reading and keeping in mind.
180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When You trade Do You use VPN? on: July 16, 2023, 02:00:19 PM
With as much as hundreds of legit exchangers around the globe with licenses to almost multiple nations I hardly think the country where you live has no exchange to trade at all? The crypto popularity is off the roof and this has caused many nations to give formal licenses to run the exchangers. Just take example of strict nation like US whose SEC started to disrupt the crypto exchangers and also successfully banned mega exchange like Binance US. However, keeping in that mind there are still many exchangers still operational with their books clean. It’s far better to choose an exchanger which preexists in your country.

What would you do if they found out you are no local national? They will immediately ban your account and probably end up ceasing your funds too.
