161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What miner is most profitable at 0.01 usd/kwh ? on: July 13, 2023, 02:57:24 PM
Hello,

I want to start a bigger mining farm exploiting my cheap access to electricity. Which miner is most profitable at 0.01 usd/kwh? I mean, where you get most bang for the buck.

I have been looking at buying 100-200 L3+ miners, as i found them to be more profitable than the newer s19 machines for example for the same amount of money.

For 100 L3+ miners, my costs would be 0.01 usd/kwh + 300 usd/month (Cost of housing them) + 700 usd/month (Electric) all amounts are approximate.

I estabished contacts with a big reputable Chinese seller and after a lot of discussion back and forth, we agreed on 6000 usd for 100 L3+ miners. Every machine will be tested before sending it, shipping costs will be about 800-1200 usd, cheapest and slowest option. Is this a good deal? Or would you guys propose another miner?

Something that worries me a little bit is how the profits will look like after LTC will be halved, that is going to happen soon. And Im worried if this will make my setup unprofitable?

Maybe there is another miner out there, that is quite cheap right now to buy due to high watt usage, but which can be profitable at low electric costs?

Best regards all, will be happy to receive any advice.

there is no legal 0.01$ electric price in the world, if exist there is only quota based on. even you make your own electric, 0.01 is hardly to achieve, solar only produce 0.03 in terms cost of facility/25 years maintenance. hydro can achieve 0.01. but to be honest, 0.01 is just like free electric, you can throw anything without any loss even a decade old hardware  Grin
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MINING WITH SOLAR POWER | WHAT WOULD YOU DO IN MY CASE? on: July 12, 2023, 02:36:25 PM
Hello people
i have solar power installed in my house and lets say i have about free 500w that i can spend to a rig (with more than 500w i would spend more than i produce)
i have two options
A) i can sell the extra power that i produce back to the electricity company thats about 1000smth euro per year or 100-120 per month and thats a stable profit
b) i can use all the remaining free kW to mine something
what would you do if you were me?
thanks in advance

500w solar power only manage produce 2,5kw/day at most so 2,5 x 30 =75kw x 0.1$ =  7.5$ monthly thats the truth

just if you can produce 82kw/day using antminer L7 nicehash scrypt you can get 20$/day,

to be honest to produce 82kw/day you need atleast 82/5= around 17kw sollar cell, and with some lifepo4 batteries to fuel 82kw capacity minimum

all those requirtment cost heavy, and yes you get more profit mining instead if you already had the facility & electricity company paid under 0.2$/kwh
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k investment on: July 11, 2023, 01:32:39 PM
Hi,

I’m looking to invest 10k, I’m trying to decide if to go with XRP or ADA.

In terms of holding I can do it for 1-3 years no real time limit. Not sure what returns I might get short term vs long term. ADA for example i might get 3 to 4 x return, however with XRP that might be a lot more should they win the court case.

My slight worry is what happens if XRP lose.

P
Both same sec target but xrp seem better choice cus for pump exit  or win both win2 situation at the moment
While ada already burning their stash from the last cycle which is bummer to avoid. Split to other 5 coins just in case u re wrong 😅
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 32nd Binance Launchpad Project Arkham on: July 11, 2023, 01:28:44 PM
This situation remember me with last bullrun when people grabing bnb like crazy to invest in to many binance project. And new project comming every day on binance. Are we in the bull market now ? I dont think so.
Btc monthly macd at this month became green for the first time in bear market which mean most likely we are ready to massive uplift in majority crypto on the train of etf. And halving is near, fed pivot is near, etf approval same page. Most likely get approved because us investor projecting to avoid gold (brics case) and btc etf is only way to focus the agenda
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you decide on a buy price target? on: July 10, 2023, 12:38:02 PM
I've been interested in adding Optimism and ImmutableX to my portfolio but their price has been inflated after big run ups.

Now they are both in freefall and I'm considering an entry point.

How do you decide where to take the plunge?  A certain %drop from the top or a %above bottom?

Or do you just look at previous levels as the traders always mention, Optimism is getting close to some previous tops at $1.3 for example?

Or do you get buy targets from another source?
to be honest those time low entry already passed in most of coin,
looks monthly/weekly macd chart, remember there is -90% and get another -90% in the last flush mostly before btc halving, dont go all in in same time, dca is ok,
day trading is safer just in case something bad happen, go all ini atleast 1 month before halving or sometimes big discount before halving, now seems etf hype will drive all crypto move faster beyond expected
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin vs XRP? on: July 10, 2023, 12:29:34 PM
I have neither of the above but am leaning towards XRP.

I believe Bitcoin will reach $100k next bull run but that is less than a 4X from current price.

I have been researching more into XRP lately and have read price predictions ranging from $5 to $100 next bull run.

I dont believe XRP will reach $100 or even $50 next bull run but feel like it could reach $5 which sounds conservative compared to all the predictions I have heard but is still a 12X from current price.

I am leaning more towards XRP purely for the better possible returns. I do believe Bitcoin is here to stay but less than a 4X from current price doesn’t appeal to me.

This is my first bull run coming up and I want to put a lot of the profits I make into Bitcoin in the 2026/27 bear market to then possibly cash out in the 2028/29 bull run when Bitcoin should at least be around $200k.

Thoughts on this? Anyone more into XRP or is everyone here pro Bitcoin?
nor xrp win or lose is gonna pump atleast to 2$, xrp is slow coin for day trader, most likely people already bought it for last pump, if lose then maybe the end of xrp specially they based on u.s, at this point when you see the movement from both, the profit seems similiar while btc safer bet
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Most profitable PoW coin now? on: July 09, 2023, 12:06:33 PM
I'm sure I'm not the first one to ask this, so flame me if you want, but: "What is the most profitable coin to mine now?"
I still have a pile of old gpu's left, and it pains me to see them just lying there.
half asic half gpus, bch doing awesome right now after listing new exchange, and expecting climbing in near future for asic mining specially sha256
lot of miner already dump their stuff from last year specially chinese banned even they dump entire peripheral like battery backup lol, gamer absorb most of gpu used
while gpu miner still turn off their rigs
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: hi i have question on mining on: July 09, 2023, 12:00:50 PM
Hello

I'm thinking between video cards for mining.
if there are any recommendations for an AMD card at reasonable prices in relation the mining profit
Or it's better to wait for the prices to drop.

good luck everyone.

for the price rx 6700xt was the sweet spot in some country, for the very moment there is no profitable mineable coin out there,
just buy the used gpus and gain your knowledge this is the best time, and try buy some sha256 asic to for mixing your rigs, dont focus only in gpus
asic still doable even at 0.1$ electric price, good luck may the force be with you
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will mining altcoins on video cards be relevant in the next bull cycle? on: July 09, 2023, 11:55:58 AM
mining getting less and less desire from today crypto world, only from OG and early crypto nerds still get going,
many big player already rekt from mining industry, and to much hardware flooding the market really was different back then when mining still favorable investment
after the eth switch its really devastated lot of mining industry, there is no mineable coin big enough to carry lot of hardware and network participant.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How is the chance of $PEPE to become the next $SHIB? on: July 08, 2023, 07:04:17 AM
pepe seems more wider meme beyond crypto and quite long enough before any memes, team behind it mostly the most important with big pocket
and people seems getting bored with dog theme memes now seems absurd memes getting love from random crypto retail, its just like buying lottery
they throw anyting without hestitate  Grin
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to Care (Maintenance) Laptop that Used for Mining on: July 08, 2023, 07:00:40 AM
im typing from laptop that used to mine eth back then and still kicking good except the speaker seems rattle, thermal paste already replaced and some dust cleaned
now technically is free laptop gaming  Grin, and connected to monitor for better use, laptop gaming getting cheaper everyday, looks like people moving to hybrid device rather than pc
while pc handheld improving so fast, seems next couple years might gonna use for mining  Cheesy
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with low spec computer? on: July 08, 2023, 06:56:38 AM
Hello, i am new to the Cryptocurrency sceen and i am wondering what cryptocurrency requires the least amount of computing power to mine.

there is no such things low power mining, at current moment. even newer tech became more and more efficient but people keep pushing to their limit is naturally happen, hardware cost + electric cost + space
will drive to maximum ceiling to limit where there is no point adding further from considering the risk management and your wallet  Grin, some people doing dirty job stealing electric and some people build hydro generator which is feasible in their places, you cant compete with them at bear market
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Help on general mining ? on: July 07, 2023, 04:41:56 AM
Hi i have a low end pc with integrated graphics intel i5 2400 i was wondering is is somehow thgrouh mining some coin to be able to earn/mine some cash im not talking cents a month

Technically you doing donor instead getting cents per month. For learning and hobbies is worth doing. For money is not viable  Grin except you had flux capacitor and back in time to early bitcoin mining. Any other alternatives : i would say yes but only luck trying to mine cpu shitcoin in early stages. Last time this happen was pascalcoin.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PEPE2.0 mining on: July 07, 2023, 01:23:41 AM
Uhhh its like back in doge days clone shit coin mining aka dogecoindark and rebranded to xvg from 1 Satoshi to 2000 Satoshi pump  Cheesy its been fun things like this coming in 2023. Lets try some fun for hobbies awhile hehehe. From shit exchange listing to biggest exchanges  Grin lol
175  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How much do I need to start mining? on: July 07, 2023, 01:18:08 AM
I know huge capital is required to meet up huge financial expectations, what's the minimum volume of income one can use to start mining? In a situations where you trade with different strategies and still hits wrong targets, if you apply or use same trading knowledge for mining won't one still loss in mining too? Because I don't have enough money with me, so am trying to cut losses if mining too will not favor me I will decided to venture into mining too again.

Can I start mining with $300 and grow from there?
At this very moment viable mining profit only can manage with the best efficiency asic. And it cost 5.5k. In bear market like this is good start for mining. Gain knowledge and chosing different hardware and methods will help decided in future growth. 300$ is good enough to buy single gpu card used one like rx 6800 or so. Mostly miner came from hobbies.

177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: According To me Ethereum Looks Weak on: February 05, 2023, 08:39:50 AM
I do believe the next bullrun leading by eth after eth.2 roadmap complete and the first big steep is near. For speed tx thats eth at the moment rely on layer 2. After sharding complete. Layer 2 goona be obsolete if they dont do anything beyond speed. Dunno about fees. Need to real world test bench. The biggest smart contract will be the fastest once again. And many Americans love eth beside btc.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why is difficulty still very high on: February 04, 2023, 01:56:09 AM
Miner waiting new coin based on gpu mining like zcash back then, but from 8 years mining only eth can handle lot of gpu miners like btc did with asic, but asic to fast growth, and buyers ended with door step each 3years, beside gpu will dou double and resale value to gamer, even my 6years old gpu sold more than inital price when I bought
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitnaka (Naka) Coin 1000X possibilty in 2023 ? on: February 04, 2023, 01:51:09 AM
Whatever project/service promotes daily profit its red flags and 99% would be scam, noobs gonna get their deserve for a lesson, cannot blame noobs for joining venture of scam, this naturally happens in process became mature, and scammers always get their prey
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hasbulla's NFT collection on: February 02, 2023, 12:48:31 PM
