Your signature is incorrect, I imagine this is the reason for you not receiving airdrop.

Replace all 4 instances of XXXXX in your sig with your bitcointalk user id, which
is a number, you can see it by going and looking at your profile.

It takes time to go through all of these appeals, you just need
to be patient. They will get to you, spamming the same thing
here isn't going to help you any more than posting in the correct
place on the DO forum.

now I don't have to jump around between websites as much.

I agree with abdul, it is much easier on the eyes now,
and I read through, (4th time!), and some minor problems
with it were fixed.

Fantastic, much easier to follow along with. I anticipate we'll
have a great deal more members for the next airdrop!

This big issue is that you were accepted back in, pending dev approval.
There are a lot of people with this status, and every time you come over
here and demand answers it takes more time away from making that happen.

Is that what you want?

People get banned from the airdrop, for the most part,
because they either can't follow simple written directions,
whether because of a language barrier or other, or they apply
without meeting the necessary criteria. If they would read the
ANN in its entirety instead of just looking for the part that
tells them how to get free money, they would realize this, and it
would save everyone some time and hurt feelings.

Also signatures. Lots and lots of signatures. Another thing
that would be solved by some reading. How are they going
to go forth on BTCT and make valuable posts without even
knowing the very basics of what they're involved in? They don't
care. They want free money now, and they'll complain if they
don't get it.

That's not how this works. IMO.

I remember, back in the day, thinking each movement
of BTC meant something dire. I'm glad I grew and learned
that this is natural volatility and there is nothing to be
gained from making hasty rash decisions on every small dip.

Cool heads prevail.

$5,000 is bargain basement prices. We will absolutely see $5k
again, and soon. I'm only surprised we haven't gone higher by now.
Maybe the fork, maybe not. I don't know that people who don't follow
crypto are even aware of the fact that it happened.

Bitcoin, or more generally electronic cash, is an idea whose time has
come. It's something people have been working towards for decades
at this point. If BTC were to tank, (which isn't going to happen), not only
would altcoins not die, it would energize the crypto/finsec communities
to make the Next Big Thing™ without being in the shadow of the
big known currency.

Alt-coins, or more specifically all the clone shitcoin-qt currencies,
or tokens, or what-have-you, might fade out if BTC went. But the
idea has absolutely taken hold, and gained no small amount of mainstream
traction. So alternative currencies in some form or another will
always be with us.
