161  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MOD ABUSING THE TRUST RATING SYSTEM IN GMAXWELL on: October 18, 2014, 01:45:12 PM
1. gmaxwell is not just a mod here, he is a core dev of the bitcoin protocol.
2. it's a trust system, not a feedback system

That is worst that he should NOT backing these users attacks on another pool ESP when their are coming from P2 users....    I do not gave a rats if he the POPE or the KING etc   and should be leading by example to stamp out these types of users etc IT a really good look that a bitcoin dev is attacking other members on this forum under fake IDS and other pools when he a dev of the coin that these pools are mining and goes against the core mission statement of the BTC major bodies Very good look NOT

Time ticking GMAXWELL
I posted that in an effort to get you to realize he is not the type of person prone to poor decisions or an inappropriate thought process. He's a pretty calculated individual, and I have full confidence he wouldn't drop negative trust on a whim. It was deserved in some manner.

I would like to buy a few of these, shipping out to different addresses. Do you accept cc/paypal/usd? Escrow?
163  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Two amazon gift cards on: October 18, 2014, 01:52:59 AM
Depends, how much are you selling them for and how were they obtained?
dandan is 100% legit.
164  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Bitcoin Bucks,Banksy Bitcoin and Bullshit art on a Dollar. on: October 18, 2014, 01:34:05 AM
I can imagine selling art that is a straight copy of someone else's work is against the law. Just because you put the art on a dollar bill does not give you the right to profit from it.

Stop trying to profit from Banksy's art.
Banksy himself states several artists he 'borrows' ideas and themes from. Besides, this is the same Banksy that tried to steal banksy.com through the courts by trademarking banksy (despite not recognizing the domain had been registered almost a decade before he started calling himself that). I appreciate your defense of the arts, but I think you are a bit misguided here. Still, thank you for your input - I have agreed to purchase 5 of these.

i would be interested in the made in china, only 'X' number printed, the american flag one, and the bitcoin ones - if the price is decent. I'll combine them into one work of art.

OTRKID, i believe we have done business before and you are local to me. PM me if interested.
166  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Microsoft Product Keys - Any Key $5 - Windows 8.1, Office, Server + MORE on: October 18, 2014, 12:33:30 AM
Can I upgrade my Windows 8.1 Home to Pro with a Pro license?
Yes you can. Control Panel-> System, and underneath your version number you'll see something like 'add extra features to windows' (I am on my kali box at the moment). You would simply add the new key into it, it verifies, then installs the updated version and reboots.

However, I would exercise caution when buying these keys. I can already tell you these are probably from a stolen/phished dreamspark account (the software offerings are identical to my dreamspark commercial account). They can and will get deactivated the second the accounts or keys are suspected of some form of piracy. Not to mention if they are truly Dreamspark products, this is in breach of it's TOS.

Steer clear, imo.

I actually think Josh is excited to go to prison.

You think you're joking but if he's a closet gay (with all the pent up hostility I'm pretty sure he is) prison might fulfill his greatest fantasy.

If the info in this document was really presented to the court, they just admitted Josh is as responsible for the actions of the company as Sonny is and he will be punished along with Sonny.

169  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ryan Gentle scamming on this forum on: October 17, 2014, 12:00:22 AM
So this is "Alex Green" from Moolah/Mintpal? Wow.

How did this info not get out earlier? When that liveleak video came out and he showed his face, did people not recognize him?
In the video, Lemon was talking with someone who had requested a video of him to prove his identity as Alex Green. Lemon ignored that request the night it came through, rushed to the store, dyed his hair, and shaved his beard -doing the video the next day. He didn't look the same as the last time I had seen a photo of him. Still, all the false legalese and threats (that are a common part of Lemon's tactics) were a dead giveaway. He kept trying to leverage the interviewer's position with the foundation in an attempt to skirt around questions he can't answer. It's also hard to forget his voice though - it's just so mumbled, scummy, and juvenile sounding.

Anyways, best part of this video is, after 25 minutes of asking for proof of an audit (which obviously there wasn't one), and 25 minutes of Lemon beating around the bush, the guy talking to him (someone named Ben from the foundation?) finally says "because I don't think you are Alex Green". The look on Ryan/Lemon/Alex/Sasuke/etc's face was priceless. He immediately goes into a spiel about UK company formation laws, where apparently fake IDs are impossible.

Best part of all this is, he is on probation until December. He was arrested last October on other charges, and has now violated his release. I have gone ahead and contacted his former arresting constable and filed the needed complaints with the department. I truly hope he enjoys his time in jail, he deserves it.

FWIW - Lemon stole from me as well through #bitcoin-otc, and has been scamming since, at least, 2004. He is truly a disgusting, sociopathic vermin.

You are a legend! Getting this guy in jail will save people a lot of money and heartache.
BigBitz and the other mods of #bitcoin-OTC deserve the credit for this. In fact, I would estimate a good 90% of the info available on Ryan is from Bigbitz's efforts. I am just happy to contribute.
170  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Charlie Shrem is scamming me, watch out on: October 16, 2014, 11:56:46 PM
Received a check for $360 today From Charlie's accountant. While it's not the 17 remaining BTC from my Bitinstant order (BI's fault, not Charlie's), it is a resolution (and one he didn't have to provide me). Due to the length of time between my original order and today, I grew quite agitated with Charlie, and gave him a ton of flak. He rolled with the punches and in the end took care of me. For this, he has earned my respect and thanks.

Thank you for resolving my long-standing issue with Bitinstant, Charlie. I wish you nothing but continued success.

171  Economy / Goods / Re: The BTC Watch on: October 16, 2014, 04:05:33 PM
Typical Chinese junk watches with a bitcoin face done in paper or plastic. These costs less than $1 to mass order through Alibaba and will fall apart on you within a few hours of usage. Custom designed how? You pulled an image off the internet and emailed it to the manufacturer? The color isn't even right, it's yellow and not #ffcc00. Horrible.
172  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Cheap Bitcoin Web Host? on: October 16, 2014, 03:44:20 PM
Namecheap is a large hosting company that accepts bitcoins. I would NEVER buy a hosting package from any of the users here, you will run into nothing but problems.
173  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lemon - defaulted loan on: October 16, 2014, 03:39:25 PM
Lemon is back scamming again. Portraying himself as Alex Green, and scammed everyone under the Moolah umbrella. This dog needs to be put down.

176  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Butterflylabs Huge SCAM on: October 12, 2014, 03:05:44 PM
Don't tell me I should feel sorry for these people. They knew they were being scammed. How could they not. It was everywhere I mean everywhere.
TBH, I ordered and received one of their 800MH/s FPGA's back in the day in fairly short order, not having done any research on Butterfly Labs at the time after seeing their presence on these forums. They released their SC line pre-order announcement fairly soon after I took delivery of my FPGA, so I had no reason to suspect any chicanery at the time, and ordered a couple 60GHs SC's, and then a couple more in April of 2013 right before the time they raised their prices across their entire line IIRC.

... and here we are today, having learned MANY lessons along the way.
The FPGAs were not their invention. They repackaged ones from another manufacturer and sold them as their own. They were never genuine.
177  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Charlie Shrem is a scammer, watch out on: October 10, 2014, 07:35:11 PM
I have sent a PM requesting BTC payout if possible. You'll save on Fedex fees, I'll save on converting it back to BTC.

Edit: I'm not even legally allowed to send you Bitcoin as a refund, as that constitutes money transmission which I'm guilty of. I can only refund you in the way you paid which is why I offered to FedEx a bank check.

Rawted, he can't send it in BTC.
My apologies, didn't notice the edit.
178  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Charlie Shrem is a scammer, watch out on: October 10, 2014, 07:00:17 PM

My apologies for making you post that, I didn't know about your bail conditions.

You may not remember, but you forwarded me onto a female support agent via PM because of my post on that thread sometime in april of 2013.

Again, I appreciate your offer, but I will need to think on this.

Just to confirm my choices are:

a) $360 refund from you directly
b) wait until the terms of your conditions run out and we pursue it for my full amount (if so, how long is that?)

No apology needed, you are trying to get money owed to you and thats understandable.

a) yes, I can FedEx you a check anytime.
b) You can, but like KingOfSports said, the most you will get from a judge is the $360 refund, which is why I offered it to save you the time.

Charlie is not the person who owes you, it is bitinstant ENTITY that owes which consists of many owners. Charlie did not personally harm you and just like in a court system the CEO of a company is not the one sued here, its the company in general. Either take the $360 or hold your vendetta/stubbornness and walk away with $0. I find it honorable Charlie would offer to pay you $360 as he personally owes you NOTHING.

As the company was doing illegal activity you won't be able to get a judge to give you anything except the $360 you paid AT MOST. Thus, this is your best option here.

This is exactly accurate. Although I was trying to say it nicer myself.

179  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Charlie Shrem is a scammer, watch out on: October 10, 2014, 06:54:00 PM

I've been asking and posting about it here and on IRC for almost two years. It wasn't until I posted here and left you negative feedback that you started coming around and responding again. What is it going to take to resolve this, man?

Rawted,

This was a BitInstant matter, not one of me personally. I've done my best to refund every customer, paying thousands out of my own pocket.

I sent you an email and I am offering again here to fully refund the $360 you deposited that day.

You have my email, as we were in conversation, feel free to email me an address where to mail the check.

I will overnight a FedEx check to you today if you email me your address right now.

-Charlie

I can appreciate the fact that you're no longer involved with BI. I can totally appreciate the amount you have had to pay out of your pocket to clear up issues. My problem is that I started this support request through you/your company back when you were in charge of it all. You know exactly who I am, as you just emailed me right away after I posted. If you notice the email you replied to was sent March of 2014. That's 7 months since you last replied to me about this.  You even knew the exact amount (360). Why did it have to get to this?

I'm torn as I realize you have no control over BI assets anymore, but I feel like my situation is different (due to the length of time I have been in contact about this, and the hoops I've been forced through), and that I have been more then patient enough. The offer of $360 is commendable, but again, I bought bitcoins with that money - I didn't place it in a no-interest savings plan for 18 months. I am honestly not happy at all with that appeasement. I appreciate you responding, and honestly attempting to resolve this (which I would like as well), but this is not fair, imo.

I have removed  the negative from your profile while we work towards an amicable solution, and thank you for stepping up.

EDIT: The email you just replied to from feb 2014 even has the order ID, event details, store, and location sent from in it. Would it be worth trying to get a hold of zipzap again about this?
Fuck your stubbornness and accept the fact that you either get $360 or $0 here. Its called bad debt, should've been written off months ago. Charlie is not the person who owes you, it is bitinstant ENTITY that owes which consists of many owners. I'll care about what you say once you take care of your debt to BigBitz.
That misunderstanding is still the same shit as right here. He made a mistake, I offer to pay his $250 in BTC at anytime he wishes for him to put it behind him. If BTC reaches $125 a coin I will send the 2 BTC he argues owed to his addy within 24 hours. He is not going to hit the jackpot off an unagreed deal and his mistake. Again, as there was no agreement I argue I owe nothing.

Like you, his stubbornness blinds him from reality, either $250 or $0, there is no convincing otherwise.
Fair enough. Thank you for your input. I hope you two resolve the issue.
