261  Economy / Auctions / Re: Pay for product placement in "Bitcoin For Dummies" episode 4 (Intrinsic value) on: April 25, 2014, 09:38:09 PM
$400+ to be included in a YT video on a new channel with less than 40 subscribers.

You're doing it wrong, people.
It's about the future value once bitcoin becomes really mainstream.
You must be trolling. That $400 could have been put to better use a million other ways. You will never see a return in value from this. You need some social marketing 101 classes.

Bitcoin becoming mainstream != some poser's Youtube channel becoming successful (which is going to be hit for trademark infringement and removed if it ever gets noticed as the Wiley Corporation owns the 'for Dummies' IP).

262  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Payment Processor Help on: April 25, 2014, 09:32:58 PM
I can help you if you need help. You don't need to use a payment processor but you have to be secure which can be challenging.
Highly recommend Gweedo. I have almost hired him a dozen times for projects (all that have fallen through have been my/partner's fault). I have discussed protocol with him extensively and seen his work. Plainly put, he knows his stuff inside and out. If you have the funds, and want a professional coder with bitcoind experience, he is your guy.
263  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please HELP on: April 25, 2014, 09:29:57 PM
Allow me to clear up a few things you are confused on, Sharmin Soft.

1. You sent the coins to an external address. This is your fault, your responsibility. They will probably (given enough time) be able to track those coins down, but given the nature of the Bitcoin protocol, and depending on how many transaction that address handles, it's going to be difficult. The trail seems to end with the following TX, which shows those 1.249 coins mixed into one output with other amounts.  https://blockchain.info/tx/23eb6f7beeafb57fe0fefaf39bdc6cdbd310f401862da010e202e9b81d09f61a

2. They are never going to help you once you pull the lawyer card. No American company will. We are a litigious society.

3. With Bitcoin, the onus is on the user to maintain accurate records and prevent self-fraud. There are no chargebacks.

4. NEVER, EVER trust an online wallet or exchange. None of them are as secure as you think. There is a plethora of information available on how to properly secure your funds. Paper wallets are my method of choice - look into them.

I wish you success in recovering your funds.

265  Economy / Gambling / Re: UFC172 , your take.... on: April 25, 2014, 05:41:00 PM
I'm putting short parlays in on texeira and johnson to win and another on over/under rounds for the undercard. Might do another full underdog parlay, besides the castillo fight. I am trying Nitrogen Sports for the first time since my previous 'bookie' closed down (RIP bitbook).
Texeira seems tempting value wise
If Jones shows up like he did vs Gustaffson, Glover has the power to put him to sleep. However, it is a huge long shot, as Jones outclasses Glover in just about every other way (on paper). Should be a fun night of fights though!
1BTC on Glover, and i cant wait, let the fight begin
You've got balls of solid rock. I can never bring myself to bet a whole BTC. I'll do small 0.1-0.5 bets or parlay 0.05 into something ridiculous.

Good luck to us both!

JJpassak, there's better ways to handle things than being an abrasive and immature moron like you currently are acting. You have earned yourself some more red, enjoy!

Like what? You've been in this situation? It doesn't fucking matter what I'll say, you are all bunch of asses.
Is it really that we are all out to get you or is it more along the lines of your actions causing this response? You can't push responsibility for every bad thing that happens to you onto someone else. Eventually there is a bit of introspection required.

Guys! You are so lucky...

Here in EU we just dreaming about stuff like this.

Which is amusing, as FN Herstal is a Belgium company. Strange how the global economy works.
274  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safe way to buy Bitcoins? on: April 24, 2014, 05:37:37 PM
I would use coinbase over localbitcoins any day of the week. Localbitcoins was decent when it first came out, but nowadays is just a pain in the ass.
275  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Recommend a miner hardware for beginner on: April 24, 2014, 05:35:20 PM
There is no miner that you can buy with that financial limit that will ever earn the bitcoins that you could just buy with that $300.

Buy Bitcoins and hold. Nothing in the current gen of ASICs is even remotely profitable at that small of a scale.
276  Economy / Goods / Re: Looking for some 54r. on: April 24, 2014, 05:29:48 PM
Arms deals are likely the safest sort of face to face transaction. Both parties can reasonable assume the other is armed.

Walking around with large amounts of BTC on you is as stupid as walking around with large amounts of cash. If it's a large deal, I'm going to make a call to an off site "banker" to make the transaction for me.
As a CCW holder, I agree completely.

Coindiver, I have some extra gift certs to classicfirearms and targetsportsusa. I also live in South Florida. You can get some of my mosin's ammo or we can order you some direct if you would like, let me know.

Any ideas how they're getting peoples email addresses? I haven't received one of these emails yet, but assume I will.

1 idea - they steal addresses from databases
2 idea - they buy addresses from those who steals addresses from databases
3 idea - they buy and steal addresses from databases
4 idea - they are using robots to search for e-mail addresses it is not hard to do - example, search bitcointalk.org for everything like *@*.*.

This site's DB has been dumped online on more than one occasion itself. The info is all out there.

The famous p90! I think I will get one of these, but not at today's BTC prices. I will go through you for it, though - when the time comes.

Here's my current list of firearms to be acquired this year.

LCRX 357
MP Shield 9mm
Canik TP9 (maybe the shark 55, not sure yet)
RIA m5 Marine
MP 15 Sporter

BAC - you and i should collaborate again and get you a website setup.
