Why people buying the chips? Is there a way to build there own board? Do you provide the PCB and BOM as well?

Thank you
If you have a BFL Jalapeno, it's pretty easy to add another chip or two to the unit without the need for extra hardware and it nearly quadruple's the devices output. I bought some and that's exactly what I plan to do with them.
163  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: campbx customers service is AWFUL on: December 11, 2013, 09:26:49 PM
Follow-up to my previous post. CampBX has as of today credited the final $1000 to my account and as an added bonus I am now a verified customer.  I was not happy during the period leading up to this, but so far I have moved a significant amount of money through their site and while the process is slower than I would like, I've never been cheated so I'm still satisfied with the service overall.

I have to imagine with the public growth associated with BTC over the past few months, their customer base has to have increased as well.... that's the reason MCX went down

I would hold off on sending money orders to CampBX until they get through whatever rough spots they are experiencing. Before Thanksgiving, I sent in 3 money orders for $1000.00 each. I received the first credit for $1000 on 11/27. I received a second credit to my account on Dec 3, and I am still waiting for the final credit of $1000 to post to my account. Below is a response to my ticket submission:

CampBX - Accounts Receivable (AR), Technical Support & Customer Relations

I'm beginning to think CampBX uses the same definition for ASAP as BFL does. I've submitted two follow-up tickets on the missing $1000.00 and have received no response in a 48 hour period. Be Careful.

166  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 6 V2 Overclocked AsicMiner Blades + Backplane on: December 10, 2013, 10:31:58 AM
The question has been asked if I will split these up and sell piecemeal -- No, these will be sold as one lot.
167  Economy / Computer hardware / [ENDED] 6 V2 Overclocked AsicMiner Blades + Backplane on: December 10, 2013, 09:18:27 AM

As stated in title, looking to sell 6 blades overclocked to 12-13 Gh/s each. These boards were modified using the technique described in sidehack's thread. The PXY devices in the photo are the blades. Note they have been up and running over 24 hours, have less than 1% hw errors and report over 12Gh/s ea. This 6 pack will perform better than 7 unmodified blades.

NOTE: These use more  power @ about 100-125w per blade, plan accordingly if you plan to fill the backplane. You'll need a 1200w PSU to do so. Right now, all 6 are running fine on a 1000w Coolermaster Silent Pro. No PSU is included in this sale.

Price is 2.28 btc and includes shipping and the backplane.

What you get:
6 Blades
Backplane
Ethernet cables (if desired)

Shipping to USA only (Sorry in advance to those outside the US)

Shipment will originate from St Mary's GA. ZIP 31558

Selling because my November Jupiter arrived and I need to cut down on power consumption. As it is now I can't run the blades, my Jupiter and the microwave at the same time cause I trip the breaker... and a guy's gotta eat you know Wink

Price is firm.

@ MrTeal,

Is it too late to get into the assembly line for customer provided chips? I have some coming this week and would love to have a few more chilis.

172  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Have 8 BFL chips.. what should I do with them? :) on: December 07, 2013, 03:18:29 PM
That thread is precisely why I'm willing to buy. I've added 2 chips to Jalapenos now and it's quite satisfying to see their hashrate increase
173  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Have 8 BFL chips.. what should I do with them? :) on: December 07, 2013, 02:53:30 AM
I'd be willing to pay .44 btc for your 8 chips shipped to GA. 8 chips at .05 + .04 for shipping.
174  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL has Black Friday SALE!!! Be careful on: December 06, 2013, 03:33:12 AM

I'd be willing to buy 26 chips for 1.3btc shipped(USA). Please show photo proof of posession.

@MagnaGen... pm sent. Wondering if that price includes shipping?
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: December 05, 2013, 10:47:06 PM
When I bought the November batch, it was rated at 550 and it wasn't until a week or two later that the improved specs were announced. The 5 day delay in shipping is nothing, and I agree. If they offered more Jupiters at $5k in the next month to 6 weeks, I'd buy another 2.

Nothing but a satisfied customer here.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: December 05, 2013, 10:20:40 PM
November order received today. Order placed October 6th. All I can say is the November Jupiters rock!!!

Performing better than anticipated. Thanks KNC!!

Call me a fool, and you know what they say about fools and their money....

I figure if they show up in a reasonable amount of time, I can still sell 2 locally for less than I paid for the whole lot, and if not... it's still a potential 28Gh/s for less than $900. I have my AVR dragon standing by and waiting for these guys.
