161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: May 04, 2015, 10:56:39 AM
It's a great Feeling to hold an bitcoins it was a wise decision to invest in a bitcoin and this is just an beginning
Still the best days to come at present i am investing everything in bitcoins because the scenario would be different in next 5 years and i ll be a rich guy for sure.

For sure you should hold the bitcoin you have or trade as it would not be profitable to sell now unless you are an early adopter, miner, or profit from something. Most don't fall under these category's though they are guys that have brought in over $400.

You should be careful investing everything in bitcoins as you won't be the first who have done that and their everything at $500-1000 is not looking great is it!? Same as yours might not when it halfs in value again. Invest what you can afford to lose and you won't go wrong.

168  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN PRICE UNDER $500!!!! ($480) is it time for panic selling + Buying :? on: August 18, 2014, 12:13:56 PM
Well for me theres a limit to how much of a loss i can take but as of recently $600 to $450 in some cases which is a drop of $150. Its just too much unless youre a really early adopter who bought at $2 or more in which case your still rich ...

do not listen to those lying scammers who ask you to buy their "cheap coins" bags
sell and cut loose!

lol, you doing it wrong obviously, just buy and put sell order higher when you see massive dump...

170  Economy / Economics / Re: Swiss Lawmakers Propose Treating Bitcoin as Foreign Currency on: April 24, 2014, 08:36:48 AM
So it basically mean allowing Swiss Banks mantaining Bitcoin accounts as a next currency ? It could open Bitcoin to fractional reserve banking Sad but also 100K euro equivalent Bitcoin protection if the bank falls Smiley

171  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: wallet and .0000001 btc on: February 15, 2014, 02:31:26 PM
I got unconfirmed 0.00000001 btc as well, would be funny if some miner included it in the block, but I doubt it, the fee for the spammy transaction is too low...
172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good news!the first of many larger merchant/retailers to jump on board in 2014? on: December 20, 2013, 05:32:16 PM
Who do we see next I wonder, any ideas? and who would be the best of all of the potential companies/industries to get on board?

I thought instead: who will be last to get on board...
173  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Worst Mistake Ever? on: December 20, 2013, 05:12:42 PM
As for soloing, tend to agree. Calculations on current difficulty peg average block taking ~45days to solve. Could be way way more, or slightly less. But all in all thats an average of 25 coin per 45 days; whereas pool PPS calculations at 1TH/s would give an average of around 1.2 per day... definately more profitable.

You made mistake somewhere or pools donate PPS mining  Wink

Good luck if you really think it is so easy. BTW why you choose doge when there are hundreds other altcoins? Because of one week of incredible growth ?  Smiley
175  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Figure it's gone but thought I'd ask on: December 18, 2013, 01:36:28 AM
Hopefully a quick question, bought a 100 bit coins in one lump years ago and have since lost the wallet HDD failure.
Don't think you can but was wondering if i could find my transaction in the ledger is there any way to get it back?
From what I understand if you lose the wallet without a backup it's gone am I right?

Its gone, unless you still have the broken HDD.
176  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My first post - spend hours to understand Bitcoins - still have some questions on: December 18, 2013, 01:32:36 AM
Hi Ed my name is Ed too

I think there is a lot of overkill on this. I've been involved with IT since 1986 and one thing I know of a fact is that hacking takes time and money. NO one is going to spend more time and money then it would take to mine bitcoin just to grab a few mBTC's. If your wallet is off-line don't worry about it. All this "booting" and other nonsense is just not necessary. Just place your wallet in an external HD and disconnect whenever you are not using it. Then let time take care of security. Meaning that this is open source, better security options are and will be developed as bitcoin matures. Just make sure you have a good password.

You never heard of keylogers ? Disconnecting helps nothing. And most computers are compromised in some way, people downloading, installing and browsing shit very often. The AV protection is just joke, and a false way to feel safe
177  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will bitcoin reach $10,000 one day...? on: December 18, 2013, 01:20:33 AM
Probably not. USD would have to increase as well to accommodate. Just think of it as the Gold Rush.

There are so many dollars and so little Bitcoins. Seems possible to me
178  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin reach $10000 one day? on: December 15, 2013, 09:52:05 PM
Do you guys think that somehow more bitcoins will eventually be released?

No. There are enought bitcoins available to mine, almost 9 millions

179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Curious about energy costs with 7950 on: December 15, 2013, 09:47:51 PM
Hi everyone, i would like to know how much i would spend mining altcoins and litecoin using a 7950 with the power set to +20, for about 4 hours a day with around 0,25/0,30$ per kw/h.
Also, would change something if i mine using the gpu, on a rig with an overclocked i5 3570k, speaking of electricity costs? (4.4GHz against the stock 3.4)

CPU doesnt matter for GPU mining, your electricity costs are high... Check profitability here:

180  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Top 7 Bitcoin Alternatives on: December 15, 2013, 09:41:07 PM
Some of your coins bring nothing new to the table. I would replace the last three by Primecoin, Devcoin and Datacoin, which at least have some fresh ideas.

You people don't get it... Bringing something  new to the table never matters.... It's all about coin's availability, popularity and ease of use.. Nothing else matters... Bitcoin is this popular because it's the first of it's kind... Litecoin is popular because it's the second one after Bitcoin, so everyone that missed the Bitcoin train tried to get on the Litecoin in hope that it'll repeat Bitcoins success... Among the numerous other alt coins, popularity and availability will determine their success... not the content...

Nope, NameCoin started 2nd. This coin is very overlooked
