161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: January 17, 2017, 11:47:12 PM
Atleast here on finland there is few restaurants, bars and coffee places where you can pay with bitcoin. Also few food stores, but i would not recommend them since the workers did not really know how to use bitcoin, and they had to call their boss etc. So it was fairly frustrating to wait at the cashier.
It must be a very good thing, because in most countries there are no physical places to spend Bitcoin. In fact, I think even in third world countries there are people taking initiatives and adopting the currency in physical stores, but the number of options should be rather limited, as such individuals certainly offer services in a few locations.
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 50 Dollars a Day! on: January 17, 2017, 11:43:12 PM
If I wanted to make $50 a day, my strategy would be to start with a $3k - $5k bankroll. Make 1%-3% sized bets and not have more than 5%-7% of my starting bankroll in play at any one time.

Bankroll management....that's the key!  However, most people don't have the discipline to maintain a sound bankroll management scheme.  Great post!  A sound bankroll management strategy should come first, then a person can start thinking about a profitable gambling method.
It seems that backroll investment is an investment that can in fact give good returns. I think the tricky part of this is finding the right casino to invest in, because there is a great variety of it. In all of then, it is necessary to analyze different aspects, especially the reputation of them and the percentage of gains that can be obtained through the investment.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The greatest innovation? on: January 17, 2017, 11:40:06 PM
I think it should be Bitcoin and not blockchain as it was said in the early posts, blockchain were around longer than we know, but it is the invention or creation of Bitcoin that make it so innovative influencing and forcing financial institution to look into blockchain technology and innovation used by bitcoin.  Bitcoin also shaping the online finance system on its own way.
After the invention of the internet, one can say that blockchain technology is the most revolutionary innovation of recent years. It's not just me saying that, but these are also the words of many experts studying different technologies, and their impact on the economy and society.
164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: January 17, 2017, 11:36:06 PM
Trading is not easy and its very unpredictable that is also why its a high risk to invest in it but also very profitable it goes well.

Trading is for the expereinced personals. If you have experiecne in trading than you should go for it. But on the other hand if you feel you are not comfortable in trading, do not indulge in it to lose your money. Rather keep you bitcoins save and their value automatically increases with passage of time.
Well, trading is probably also for those who are gaining experience, but obviously one should not invest large sums of money if the individual does not have enough knowledge to manage this type of investment. It is not just trading that is unpredictable job. I think that every investment has a certain level of unpredictability, the successful investor is the one who knows how to reduce such risks in the best way possible.
165  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Is Now Moving Up on: January 17, 2017, 03:54:05 PM
It is a good sight. It has shown that USA president has made some obvious effect on Bitcoin. After the 20 of January, the prices will increase significantly because we are about to see Donald Trump officially become the new President USA. We witnessed how Trump affect the economy when he won the election Smiley Soon, very soon guy. Bitcoin will reach $1000 again
Yes you're right, I also predict after Trump officially became president on January 20, bitcoin prices will slowly increase. There will be a lot of policies from Trump that will benefit bitcoin. Trump made a controversial policy that will affect the world economy, and this will indirectly make bitcoin prices increased slowly. We will see what will happen to the bitcoin after Trump officially became president.
Trum's victory will likely have some impact on Bitcoin, but I don't think the impact will be as significant compared to the effect of other events. I think it all depends on the number of users who adopt the currency over the years, and this requires projects and marketing so that the currency reaches a larger number of people.

I think that the arrival of Bitcoin ETFs this year may bring benefits to Bitcoin. In addition, there are other projects being developed by major investors, such as Kim Dotcom, whose purpose is to facilitate the use of Bitcoin for mainstream adoption.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To make own crypto currency on: January 17, 2017, 03:48:21 PM
You need to have special knowledge of C++ and Python .
This is something that may help, but it will certainly take much more than that... You need to be knowledgeable about blockchains and per-to-per technologies. Depending on the project, several developers may be required, with different skills. In addition, it is necessary to promote the cryptocurrency.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Megaupload + Bitcoins on: January 17, 2017, 03:42:39 PM
This is a very ambitious project, but Kim Dotcom has already been able to deliver great products in the past. Maybe this time he succeeds in that. If it is something that can bring benefits to the ecosystem, I think people should support it. But I've read somewhere that for a project to be possible on this scale, it is necessary for SegWit to be activated first, which is something difficult under current circumstances.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why people do not get Bitcoin. on: January 17, 2017, 03:32:47 PM
Well on your point what the majority of people only know is that Bitcoin is some kind of dark currency in which only bad people use and is illegal all over the world. By having that kind of first impression to something like Bitcoin it can have people closing their doors on accepting Bitcoin as a revolutionary currency. But there is still hope that peoplce can change their mind and that is when other people start to use Bitcoin.
When I met Bitcoin, I also had the impression that it was a currency made for darknet markets, mainly due to the news involving silkroad. But now I see that this is not the main purpose of Bitcoin.
First, It is a currency that allows things to be done with greater transparency, since the transactions can be consulted in the blockchain. Also, Bitcoin is not as untraceable as some people think, that's why there are some altcoins trying to implement more features to make them more private.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: January 17, 2017, 03:24:44 PM
As far as I know, bitcoin has no tax. The government is not controlling the bitcoin like the other currency. If bitcoin has a tax then maybe you can tell that the bitcoin is a legal currency of a country. Thats why bitcoin are said to be free.

In India bitcoin is termed as a property by the taxing agency. This just implies that probably they will place taxes on owning bitcoins like you own a real property. But the problem with taxing bitcoin as a property is its hard to determine who owns bitcoin and how much bitcoin did they own. In the Philippines bitcoin is not taxable but the company that runs bitcoin pays taxes to the government such as business and income tax.
There are many other countries that take such measures. The upside is that, since governments are recognizing that Bitcoin has value, as a digital asset, many people are becoming interested in knowing what Bitcoin is and how to invest in it. The downside is that the government tries, in this way, to exert influence over Bitcoin, who should not be interfered with by centralized institutions. In any case, Bitcoin continues to be decentralized, since it is the user's choice to pay the tax or not.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: January 17, 2017, 03:17:59 PM
In my case, trading is good, as I like to see quick returns, so on weekends I sit in a chair with my laptop in my hands and do some trading on altcoin exchanges.
I like what you choose, altcoins trading is very profitable if you have more time focus on it. The price can move like skyrocket and if can predict it will, your money will grow substantially as well. It's like gambling but it offers bigger chances as we can analyze and determine the outcome based on the relevant news that may affect the market.
The gains that can be obtained through altcoins trading are higher, in fact, due to the greater volatility that there is in that market. But the chances of making the right moves are smaller, as it is a more unpredictable market compared to other markets. Moreover, it is difficult to choose the right altcoin to invest, since once there are a large number of altcoins, this can make the investor be confused when choosing this.
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: January 17, 2017, 03:11:49 PM
Becouse when you just try it out with small amounts, you see that you can multiple your money in minutes. So you try it in big, then you just want more. You can't stop, you loose. After that, you try to rewin your losses... Smiley
Agree, thats why its addicting because we are eager to get back what we lose and so its hard to control yourself for not playing again. in my case i became addicted because it gave me fun and excitement especially if you experience how to win. but that was before good thing i can control myself now.

Because of the chance of winning we are always thinking that we can always hit it and by that way we are getting addicted with it. Your experience is not new because almost all of us, gamblers are experiencing it that way. And together with the fun and excitement that we can feel when we gamble, there are some profits on the side.
This in fact is something that can make one get addicted to it. If the individual does not identify the right time to stop, he/she may end up making moves that should not, and taking unnecessary risks. This is something that needs to be controlled, whether in gambling or investments, as the consequences of this can be financial losses.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly can you buy with Bitcoin? on: January 17, 2017, 03:07:27 PM
By now, there are a lot of it already. From my experience, I bought Steam games with Bitcoins using G2A. I also read that some VPNs offer bitcoin as payment methods. Maybe there would be a time in the near future that 90% of the internet will accept bitcoins. Maybe online stores such as amazon will accept it in the future.
Yeah, these are good examples. I also had the opportunity to buy some games using steam. This makes things quite simple. There are people who already use it for other purposes, like paying bills or recharging the cell phone.
173  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: January 15, 2017, 03:43:26 AM
Well no one is controlling it as one person, we ourselves are controlling it partly if you are gonna think about it.
On my understanding i agree with you,no one is controlling it.It moves freely by means on how its value runs to the market.Seems like everyone is anonymous using bitcoins,by means of investing ,trading and mining.
I agree with your statement, no one control bitcoin. But some people who have really big amount of bitcoin has influence bitcoin price. Bitcoin, fiat or any currency price can be controled by the hoarder.
China has holding large number of bitcoin because they have a large mining farm.. they can manipulate the price but they can not control the whole blockchain and bitcoin.. and i think we are all who control bitcoin.. unless if satoshi nakamoto are planning to terminate bitcoin anytime who are holding bitcoin can be lose in the future..
With regard to price manipulation, I also think they have a high degree of influence and, according to some experts, China is responsible for part of the price drop that has been occurring in recent weeks. But it does not make much sense to say that they have control over Bitcoin, which remains the most decentralized currency in existence.

The rest of the world also has strong influence over the currency, events that occurred in India last year, for example, also had an impact on price. Therefore, one can conclude that Bitcoin is a currency connected with the global economy, so it would be very difficult for anyone to control the price.
174  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good time? on: January 15, 2017, 03:36:19 AM
any time is a good time to buy a bitcoin. because bitcoin prices have increased every day. we will be able to benefit by saving on the bitcoin wallet address that we have. believe that bitcoin is a future.
That depends on the investor. There is a consensus among most experts that Bitcoin has high potential to be a rewarding investment in the long run. However, not all users can hold it for a long time, many individuals need a way to make a profit on a daily basis. Therefore, one must strive to learn to have the correct timing and thus have better chances of buying Bitcoin at the best rates.
175  Economy / Securities / Re: Have 1 Btc Looking for a stable investment on: January 15, 2017, 03:31:24 AM
I know keeping the bitcoins is the best option but i still wanted to know that do you guys know a place where i can invest and the return isn't too high and less risk. I already bet of sportsbet so i am not interested in gambling or betting.
I have no hopes with the so called shitty cloud mining as most of them are ponzi scam etc.
If you guys any site please let me know.
I also don't think that investing in gambling is a good way to make a profit, but probably investing in casino bankroll is something with a much greater potential for returns and a risk level that, according to some users, is acceptable. I would not invest a lot of money in any way. I think that in crypto, almost all investment are quite risky under the current circumstances.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1 on: January 15, 2017, 03:19:20 AM
As far as i know because bitcoin is the first crypto currency , bitcoin appears since 2009 And had underestimated but now everyone has recognized the valuable of bitcoin. Bitcoin also so popular as the top of crypto currency because the others crypto currency just follow the way which have been made by bitcoin.
Well, the fact of being the first cryptocurrency is something that gives a lot of advantages to Bitcoin, but surely that is only one aspect... What really makes Bitcoin to have the value it has at the moment is the fact that the technology works efficiently, and with a level of decentralization not reached by other currencies. In addition, there is a team of dedicated developers, who contributed to Bitcoin being what it is today.
177  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which trading method is better? on: January 15, 2017, 03:10:32 AM
Trading is easy and also very easy to do if you look at the current market, you just have to look good at the graphs of these altcoins.
i agree with you that trading is very easy to do you will just  get knowledge about trading  there is a lot of people investing their money bitcoinc / altoin and maximim people are getting  profit in huge through trading .

we just have to be thorough and focused. That's an important point in trading. because the focus can we get the best results. trading is easy but must be astute in managing the time of sale and purchase bitcoin / altcoin.
Certainly focus and dedication are things that can increase the odds of success in trades. However, this alone is probably not enough... it is also necessary to find good sources of information, which allow to be updated, in time, with respect to what happens in the market. Information has a high value in any market, especially in the cryptocurrency market.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get paid to learn smart contracts on: January 15, 2017, 03:05:54 AM
Looks like a very interesting concept, will definetly give it a try. I'm interested anyway in smart contracts and Ethereum, since it seems to be more advanced than bitcoin technology.
I think it is something worth learning. At the moment, it seems that the media and people do not give much importance to smart contracts, but there is a lot of potential that, probably in less than a decade, this may be the next big thing. I'm not sure if Ethereum is the right way to do this, though. There are a number of scalability issues that can make smart contracts unviable if the platform becomes popular.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Really no talk of segwit / big blocks.. on: January 15, 2017, 02:57:29 AM
We really need satoshi now because if he somehow shows up and tell us what he thinks we should do then we might actually agree on one thing and then doing it, I don't think anyone refuses him only if he could speak out somehow.
It is very unlikely that he/she/they appear now to say what the best procedure is, but there are many competent developers working on it, and from what I know, it seems that segwit is not the only thing proposed by them... There is also another solution called FlexTrans, but I'm not sure if this would be a better solution.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: January 15, 2017, 02:48:21 AM
Trump will boost US economy, those Obama progressive did not do much to help US economy. Once the economy becomes stronger, bitcoin usage in services and business will prevail. So it is good for bitcoin.
Several signs indicate that, in fact, many things can improve in the economy and this could certainly help the dollar, but I don't think this would have a positive effect on Bitcoin. If people start to trust the dollar more, they will have less incentive to look for alternatives. But there is also a risk that the global economy will go through serious problems in the coming years... if this happens, more people may look to Bitcoin as a solution to such problems.
