1603  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cheaper In Bitcoins | Investors Report Tonight. on: November 03, 2011, 10:01:30 PM
Yeah I'm gonna have to get back to you guys on Septembers report its really embarrassing how much losses I took to on purpose to attempt to get the name out there that I'm a legit seller. instead I think it had the opposite effect as I just in the end lost money and didn't get anymore real sales. Anyways they say it takes up to a year to make real income for an emerging business. Any who... Here is Octobers Profit reports. I wasn't sure how much more detailed I could get with this so I'll just give you guys this and any more information I'll just revise and re-post if this is not what a proper report should look like

http://postimage.org/image/aias32ppz/

If you have something to revise please be serious if you want to be taken seriously.
1604  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cheaper In Bitcoins | Moar Updates :D on: November 03, 2011, 08:22:19 PM
Investors report coming soon. I'm thinking I should be able to get to work and publish it tonight in PDF and HTML format. It wasn't looking good this month so I'll post up Septembers income as well which looked a lot better.
1605  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone to create/modify software for this forum on: November 03, 2011, 08:02:13 PM
I'd be willing to do this software for 650BTC however I will have to find someone to do the design for me.

I gotta add that this kind of software sounds highly specific to just rewrite current software you'd have to do from scratch other wise you are risking your self to exploits that your un-aware of. If I were to accept this offer you can expect it to take 3 months until a fully tested, bug free, exploit scanned with more then one software suite, and tested on multiple browsers.
1606  Other / Meta / Re: Looking for someone to create/modify software for this forum on: November 03, 2011, 06:42:44 PM
I'm my experience modifying software takes just as much effort as building from scratch. However the exception to this rule is if you just need a few custom features. I think theymos list was a list I would personally chose to build the software from scratch. Either way 650BTC comes about to be a little over $2000 isn't bad for all those features that said... I think everyone of those features had super specificness to them and would/should require a little bit more BTC for the extra time/effort. The more preciseness you need in any project makes it harder to catch all the bugs with more features.

I will pay you 650 BTC for forum software that fits Theymos description, so long as I retain rights to the source.  Screw that, I'll pay you 1000 BTC for software that fits that bill.  Seriously, this is a job offer.  If you can provide software with all those features from scratch for 1000 BTC, the job is yours.

I can get started today! Cheesy

I'll have to find a designer tho.

I think a reasonable time-frame is 3 months?
1607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Legality of selling sexual items online (Age verification with Bitcoins) on: November 03, 2011, 06:41:41 PM

When ordering over the phone or online... correct me if I'm wrong but none of them will ask you to copy of your photo ID. The creditcard/debit card is already proof enough. Obviously i didn't use the "Credit card proves your are 18 or older" correctly but I thought I'd make it easier on everyone to read less.....

of course maybe gambling is an exception but on-line gambling is completely outlawed in USA basically.

I've never done that.

It isn't. Do you have a cite?

Online gambling isn't illegal in the US? Goddamn, a lot of sites moved offshore and started using 'credits' for a legit enterprise.

If it wasn't illegal.... why are they moving off shore....?

It is illegal to mislabel the financial transactions that USED to be required to fund accounts and pay winnings. Because of banking regulations the only way to get the transactions processed was to mislabel them. None of that means gambling is illegal, it means it's impossible to legally do it using dollars. This is suddenly a relevant distinction.

Or maybe it is illegal and someone can point me to the relevant writings.

No no, I think your on the correct path that sounds about right. I don't know the "exact" gambling laws but I know saying they are Illegal is a lot easier then to attempt to explain something I know little about.

That was my point. I was being facetious.

Good I'm glad I picked up on that... and thanks for helping me learn a new word today.

Bro, I'm just giving you what was calculated after bitcoin taxes.... lol I swear this Math joke at this forum is getting old. Just for the record the first math mistake was a typo not a math error...

Bitcoin fees are 0.0005 BTC. I accept that. Fair enough. But it's clear for anyone who cares to check the calculations that there is an error. You paid 1st place 0.1 BTC too much and 3rd place 0.091 BTC too little.

I admire your determination to promote the bitcoin economy. You have an entrepreneurial spirit, but maybe you need to take on a business partner to dot the i's and cross the t's, because constant mistakes can erode confidence.

Indeed, you do have a point there.

Okay so google is not being nice to me. What does everyone think about cheaper in bitcoins selling passion party stuff and/or Adult DVD stuff?
The issue is that I can't find anything in the legal system(penal code) (using google) about selling 18+ stuff.. can someone point me in the correct direction?

Normally a credit card proves that you are 18+ but how should we go about this with bitcoins? (Lets keep it within USA legality terms, unless you specifically state that you are talking about out of USA legal issues)

A credit card is not proof of age.

1620  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cheaper In Bitcoins - Raffle ( 5 BTC pot ) 1st,2nd,3rd place winnings on: November 02, 2011, 09:08:45 PM
Well you follow through, so maybe next time you hold a raffle more people can get on board.

Maybe it just didn't get a lot of traffic due to the forum it was posted in.

Thanks thats a good point, I just might hold another raffle with stakes a little bit higher.

I think a lot of it is uncertainty everyone is/was really use to the price being always above the $8-$10 mark and are experiencing "spending anxiety"
