The thing is Verstappen is pretty fast under wet track conditions too. But yeah, I also hope it rains as prolly the best three drivers on the grid who work best in the rain are Alonso, Hamilton and Verstappen. There are prolly a couple or so more guys but those three stick out.
Anyway, does anybody else feel like Perez won't be given another extension on his contract? It ends next year after 2024 season. I think Ricciardo will be driver no. 2 at RBR at 2025.
Verstappen is really dominating in every track condition. But still there is a chance to watch a more competitive race generally in case of rain here. If we see dry track then I don't know how big gap Verstappen would have with the others. In the previous season's Austrian GP Leclerc and Verstappen had an insane gap with the others starting with 40 seconds or so. Leclerc was able to compete with Verstappen at the same level in some races in those times at least. But now there is literally nobody who can. Perez started the season well but now he is also struggling a lot. |

Galatasaray need to improve their attempts for a centre-forward transfer immediately. Icardi's loan spell has ended but they are still working on bringing him back to the team now. Because this transfer is really important considering the Champions League. Gomis was the backup centre-forward and he is also about to be released at the end of the month. There will be no striker left in the team as a result. As a result this must be the main concern for Galatasaray these days.
Icardi's cost is quite high though so I'm not sure if they can find a way to reach an agreement with him at favourable conditions. They should look for alternative players as well.

Neymar is still a really solid player in his role but he has been struggling with injury problems for a long time. Last season was also not quite good for him in terms of this situation. Otherwise his statistics until getting injured last season were really impressive. At this point I don't know if PSG would continue with him for at least one more season.
There are still speculations like he could leave indeed. But I don't feel like PSG will force him to leave as long as they don't get an official offer. I don't think he would go to Saudi Arabia just yet by the way. If we don't see an offer by a European team then he might also join Messi in the MLS.
Messi got an enormous contract by Inter Miami and a similar one might be offered to Neymar as well.

Your thinking makes me feel that Lewandowski is carrying Barcelona on his shoulders and is fully responsible for any result Barcelona get as a team. He is a single player and even a prolific striker, he does not represent Barcelona as a team. A player is not a team and if Barcelona want to win big clubs in Champions League, in Europe, they must win it as a team. They must become a stronger team to achieve it and Lewandowski can not help them only by himself. You got me wrong. I don't expect Lewandowski to play like a one-man army. Even in La Liga, Lewandowski did not show the required level in my opinion - 23 goals in a season is ridiculous numbers after what we saw from Ronaldo/Benzema/Messi. And if I'm not mistaken in La Liga, he is top 1 in unused scoring chances. The arrival of Gundogan is a major boost for Barcelona, but if Xavi continues to use his old dull strategies that have not worked for a long time, then this is unlikely to somehow affect the results of Barcelona and their ceiling in the Champions League will be 1/8 - 1/4 finals. I agree that even the number of goals he scored in the La Liga could have been higher than that level. He is capable of doing more than this but let's see. Gundogan is really a decent transfer and he can make an important level of contribution with goals or assists. He is a decent midfielder and he is playing really nicely considering his age. |

After signing players like Benzema it is said that the next target of Saudi Arabian teams is to sign Salah. But to be honest I don't expect such thing to happen this summer. They prepared an offer for Lewandowski as well and he must have turned it down already. I think Salah will also not think about it too much and he will do the same.
Because I don't think Salah is at that level yet. He is 31 years old and he is still a great star in European football. Maybe Liverpool didn't have a good season recently but they would start pulling themselves together in time. They need Salah's big effort in this and he must also be very competitive for titles still.

I don't know if Luis Enrique would make any impact on Mbappe's decision to change. He has won a Champions League title before but he can't reassure anything for PSG already now of course. But if we see some good chemistry maybe PSG can really make it to the title for the first time in team history. But even this might not be enough to convince Mbappe to stay longer.
Because Mbappe really seems like he has made up his mind. He says he is contented with staying here for his last year on his contract but he has no intention to extend with PSG until 2025. PSG have no intention to let him go as free agent either. In this situation I really wonder how this will end up.
It is like everything can change suddenly this summer and PSG might even decide to sell him right away.

Luis Enrique started working as a manager in 2008 with Barcelona B, and then him move to Roma three years. In the 20132014 season he can also become a coach at Celta, and then move to Barcelona. If i'm not mistaken, Him can make Barcelona winning the treble in his first year and the double in his second. With an amazing record, if PSG get his services, so there is a chance for them to win the title they have been aiming for. I have also heard about this news later on. Maybe it might be good to have Luis Enrique for PSG. Because he is a Champions League champion with another big team like Barcelona. He didn't make do with only this achievement of course. He has many more titles achieved with the same team as well and all their achievements are only with Barcelona. Now in this case he will need to concentrate on doing the same for PSG. We all know how desperate PSG are to win the Champions League title at least for once for a long time. They have made so many manager changes in the last 10 years but there is still no positive result. Luis Enrique doesn't have a history with managing a French team though. Only just noticed these mentions so it was nice to see them.
Austria is where Red Bull practice and take test runs on to their own home track for the off-season.
Last season Max was in a sea of orange smoke and I can't see it being any different this time around.
Just question is how far behind will Perez be from him in the front row at the start of the race?
It is nice to have you here as well.  When it comes to the Austria GP it is surely likely to see orange smoke everywhere among Verstappen fans.  He loves this atmosphere a lot as well and does his best to take the win in the race as well. But the previous race didn't end up in favour of him you know. He was great in qualifying and sprint sessions both by finishing as the leader. However in the race the winner was Leclerc. There was already a great competition between them before the race too. It was Ferrari's better times. However now Verstappen is a solid favourite to take that win by a satisfying level of dominance. Alonso and Hamilton seem the second strongest drivers lately but their job is very difficult against Verstappen as usual. |

You know that Leicester have been relegated from the Premier League. As of this incident's happening I have started wondering what will happen to the best players in the team as well. Tielemans has joined Aston Villa on a free transfer already though. The other player I'm curious about the most is James Maddison. He still has a contract which runs until June 30, 2024. But I assume he isn't happy with being in the Championship from now on. It looks like there are already two Premier League teams after him - Newcastle and Tottenham. His current market value is 60m euros. The amount Leicester demand from these teams is at least 50m pounds (~58m euros). I think this is a favourable amount for a talented player like Maddison. What do you think? |

Belgium got a very comfortable win against Estonia just as expected. Lukaku put on a good show with 2 goals. However yeah this isn't an indicator that Belgium have improved their general effort. Their group is quite an easy one here in the qualifiers stage. They might be likely to finish it behind Austria though but it would still be enough to carry them to Euro 2024.
But the problem is they don't look like they can be a great title contender there. There is still a long time period to talk about it maybe. But since the World Cup there isn't much change we can see now. Belgium have had a wonderful generation to make use of with winning multiple titles. But in-team personal issues between the players turned everything into a nightmare for this team. There are still players who don't talk to each other as far as I know.
