on 4930k with 3 x 290x I increased cpu usage to 11 and it maxed out cpu at 100%. I found the sweet spot at 9. 10 was too much also.
I upgraded to 1.03 and changed that setting and performance went up 10%. Also all 3 cards have similar times now, where previously they were different for each card.
cpuusage=11 results in me getting way slower perf on my i7 3820 at 4ghz...and dual 280x cards. HT on or off makes no difference.
cpuusage=9 is the sweetspot for me. Insane perf boost, time is 170 per card or so, and total cpd 3.1 with two r9 280x cards.
"-cpuusage=9" is the best setting for me too. It uses 57%~63%. Est Avg CPD: 1.41 Est Spot CPD: 1.47 time: 192~200

Can you give a configuration examples? For example: "3X280X documentation to see but still do not understand:" set ID0, the single card if cards with "," middle separated? "
Forexample: 1st GPU = di 0 1st,2nd GPU = di 0,1 1st,2nd,3rd GPU = di 0,1,2 No! Create 3 different .bat files. 1st .bat must have -di 0 Second .bat file -di 1 Third -di 2 And start them all. Read "readme.txt" file, it is documented there. Yup, my error. So, no implementation of multiple cards in future updates?

I'm using 1.04 and it's showing cpu usage as low as 7% with the "-cpuusage 11", but spikes to 34% some times. Getting time: 240~251 and Est. CPD: 1.17. ... Could the "-cpuusage" command be buggy?
Please make sure it's "-cpuusage =11", not "-cpuusage 11". Just a little side note, the 1.04 still says 1.03.
It's because it's 1.03. We haven't released 1.04 yet. Oh ok, forgot the "=". I'll give it a try....

New version of the server 1.03 is available on the website. The same link: http://primegpu.com/files/prime-gpu-server.zipWhat's new: - "-cpuusage" is extended up to 11 with the default value at 6. Higher values should increase speed on 1- / 2-cards setups and/or with high-end CPUs up to 15%. Note that you should try to keep CPU working time at 50-70%. So do not set 11 on slow CPUs or multi-card rigs - 'Jumping mining time' issue is fixed - Spot CPD output is added - Up to 8 cards (or 4 7990) are now supported per rig (earlier it was 6 max) I'm using 1.04 and it's showing cpu usage as low as 7% with the "-cpuusage 11", but spikes to 34% some times. Getting time: 240~251 and Est. CPD: 1.17. With 1.03, I was at 20% cpu usage. Getting time: 225~230 and Est. CPD: 1.29. I'm running an AMD Phenom II x4 810 (PassMark Score= 3481) with just one MSI Twin Frozr III HD 7970 OC BE. Could the "-cpuusage" command be buggy? Just a little side note, the 1.04 still says 1.03.

How will the store ship the cards without even asking for the name of the recipient? They just don't have a field for the name, only Street, Street2, City, State, Zipcode, and Country. I'm quite certain it's not possible to send an international package without specifying the name of the recipient, not sure about shipping within US though.. Bought a card yesterday and wondering now how is this gonna work.
you arent required to ship a package with a persons name, with any company or destination. At least in some countries you won't be able to receive such a package, there are customs' taxes and if there's no name of the recipient on the package then the customs office will just send the package back to the sender as improperly labeled. Actually, as far as I can remember, out of a few hundred orders I've placed online in different stores across the globe over the years, this is the 1st time I wasn't asked for the name. Like literally the first time.. With all the fails this coin's been through, I just wouldn't be surprised if the store will ship the card to Russia with no name on the package, it'll take a month to get here, then the customs here will turn it around because there's no recipient mentioned on the package, it'll take another 2-3 weeks to get back, and then I'll either have to pay another $55 for shipping or gpucoin will be dead by then and I'll just be totally screwed over. Is there any way to reach the store's representatives? There's no "Contact us" links on the website, no one's answering any questions in the official forum, and the OP hasn't said anything in this forum for a week. Just how does one contact anyone related to GPU Coin? It's on the bottom of the page: https://gpucoinstore.com/contact.phpThe responded back about my gpu order with a tracking number.

I'm upgrading to 14.3 or whatever the last driver is soon...hope it works fine with my setup.
Third block in 3 days, roughly. 1 per day and not mining 24hs, more like 12-16hs a day.
You probably would earn more leaving it on 24/7. Definitely but tell that to the missus...xD You have to do what Queen Bee tells you...LMFAO

So, how is the work going on with the Blake and Heavy kernels being incorporated?
Since XPM has 3 miners out now, is it a possible to merge XPM into this miner?

Is 40000 ch/h 4ch normal for stock clocks 7970? And I have GPU load about 80% and CPU load from 60 to 80%. Version 1.3
i was getting around 60k im sure your cpu is the bottleneck Strange, his gpu is only running 80% and the cpu load is high. He could probably use the new command and reduce cpu load. Or maybe he forgot to include "setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100".

On the AS ROCK H81 PRO BTC you can add a maximum of 7 "Add in" GPUS and here is why. I've seen this question asked quite a few times across various places. Why can't I add an eighth gpu to the H81 even though I have empty slots?
Windows or Linux, it doesn't matter, has a maximum of 8 GPU's regardless of the combination of physical cards. Four 5970's equals 8 GPU's, two 5970 and four 5870's also equals 8 GPU's....I think you get the idea.
Q. Then how come we can only add seven GPU's to the H81 if eight is the limit?
A. The onboard GPU is loaded as GPU 0 in the bios and takes up a "slot" regardless of what you do in the bios. Actually the on board gpu cannot be "disabled", you can only choose which is the primary display device, PCIE or ONBOARD.
Using two 5970 and three 5870 will max out all expansion even though there is an empty slot on the board. You can see why below in the final configuration as loaded into bios using the above cards.
Intel HD Onboard - GPU 0 5970 master - GPU 1 5970 slave - GPU 2 5970 master -GPU 3 5970 slave -GPU 4 5870 -GPU 5 5870 -GPU 6 5870 -GPU 7
As you can see, the above configures 8 gpus including the on board gpu using 5 out the 6 pcie slots.
~BCX~
The on board gpu automatically take one IRQ resource on the board, but there should be a way to trick the registry to add the 8th external gpu.

My 24 hours snapshot of mining with one MSI Twin Frozr III HD 7970 OC BE. I had to restart twice within the first 10 hours, add that time plus the one I took a pic of. This system is running with the following: Windows 7 Ultimate, 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz RAM, AMD Phenom II x4 820 (Unlocked cache to perform like a 920), HD 7970 and AMD 14.3 Driver with SDK 2.9. Hey primegpu, I sent you a PM also....

yeah i have 2 290x's on dual opteron x6's at 2ghz with cpu load 30% and they are under 480 on the time
Are you on v1.3?

Always a luck factor in mining, solo or pool. Just with a pool, it helps when a coin's difficult to solo mine.

damn just started my 1 7970 rig that i lost for awhile cause i change cpu from a k8 to k10 found a block within 5mins
When I rebooted my PC twice yesterday, I found a block in 12 minute after the second reboot.

Will KNC even deliver? "they're a big company, blah blah blah" hard target release date: "meh, like maybe later this year or something" joke. KNC does eventually release their items for sale, just seems to be always late (mine with equipment before releasing to customers, maybe?). BFL is even worse, seem like have of their shipments never even make it out. lol Only Gridseed is out, truly. But ROI takes nearly 3/4 to a year for them at the current market prices.

The top 3 votes so far are Scrypt-N, X11 and Groestl. Metiscoin has a good GPU heat less also!
GPU =watts the best less watts more good for miner (test you mining for every Coin you will see) but anyone need to know how good is the coin, not just security(for me all this coin has very good security), inovation like vote in heavy(can be used differently), multi-pool resistance ,many technical we don't see it wen use the coin but wen we have problem .... for that you need to be an expert to analyses how is good this coin or that coin. use all ,you will know!
Metis is good, just not strong enough dev support at the moment. The community has to help out.

AMD 14.3 driver seems to be running fine.

I'll experiment with 13.9 and the latest drivers to compare performance and post results. 14.3 is running fine for me, not slow at all. I'll download it then...it will allow me to use mantle while at it :p LOL...Gamer mode....
