1601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 08, 2023, 09:44:29 PM
Leeds has played well, so even if they lose, I still think they'll win or draw. Nobody is showing any signs of weakness, and there is a chance for Manchester United to catch up to Manchester City, which I don't want to happen. Leeds' strong play may have made United very serious tonight I never imagined for Leeds to be this good I respect the way they played without giving manchester united any chance let's wait and see the outcome of the game.
1602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 08, 2023, 08:34:28 PM
Rashford has scored 14 goals in 11 games, making him the Manchester United player with the most goals this season. Woba is a good defender because he prevented Fernandes from scoring when the goalkeeper was absent. At the moment, Leeds is playing a very highly defensive game, which leaves Rashford and Fernandes looking for a chance to score, while Manchester United is trying desperately to score by creating opportunities. the game is becoming more interesting the table has turned and more pressure is coming from manchester united.
1603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 08, 2023, 08:06:46 PM
The game is just getting started, but I don't think it will favor Manchester United. Leeds knows who they are playing, so they are playing a very quick attack on Manchester United. Now they have something to defend, and let's keep watching and see what happens next. This game is going to be entertaining tonight. Both clubs are using the same formation, and just seconds ago, leeds scored the first goal.
1604  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Started testing the waters in futures trading on: February 08, 2023, 07:23:30 PM
Futures trading is one of the things I dread the most when it comes to trading. If I'm not holding, the spot is risk-free compared to the futures, where you can lose a lot of money, but you gain experience when you lose money because one important fact about trading is that you will undoubtedly lose money, but I'll choose either spot or hold personally. it really difficult to what will happen next in the market.
1605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 08, 2023, 06:11:49 PM
Leeds UTD going head to head with Man UTD that are in there best form at the same time trying to catch up with the league leaders. Man UTD will take advantage of the fact that Leeds are finding it very difficult to play more better this season without having a comfortable win. Maybe the new coach syndrome will rescue them against Manchester UTD, with Casemiro not in tonight's match, it will really have an effect on the UTD side and if Leeds capitalized on that while getting the defense in order then Man UTD will find it hard to win this game that easy, if the defense line is perfect for Leeds, I think they'll play a draw despite the odd given to Man UTD.
I'm sure Leeds won't make it easy for Manchester United tonight, and the other way around, Leeds haven't played well this year. I wonder what's wrong with them, perhaps they need a new coach and to add more quality players. It may be too late for Leeds to achieve anything at this point, all that's left is for them to improve. However, we'll find out if they can genuinely handle Manchester United by how tonight's game plays out.
1606  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why I will never trust top exchanges on: February 08, 2023, 04:21:11 PM
If I'm being honest, I'd rather trust reputable exchanges than ones I don't know well than the ones I don't have any idea about also with zero reputation, after all, they say that the devil you know is better than the angel you don't, despite the fact that exchanges carry some risk, it's still impossible for them to be completely left out of the industry. However, the most important thing to remember is never to leave your assets on any exchange.
1607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 07, 2023, 09:36:55 PM
It's surprising how seriously Manchester has geared up after the world cup, and if man city and arsenal do not level up, Manchester united is on the lookout for more points. This is why I was tempted to bet on the Manchester United match against Leeds because the team has been given 6 odds, and Manchester United has 1.43 odds, which is tempting but difficult to predict.
1608  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Not having your PVC yet, what's your excuse. on: February 07, 2023, 09:08:43 PM

Abi e mean say naija no fit do election wey rigging no go dey?
one thing am loving about this period is that even the president is coming up with strategies to stop vote buying but the problem now is that politicians will try their best to still buy votes and the BVAS idea by the federal government is not a bad idea even the presidential candidates are worried no one is certain about their victory,  I actually salute the president on his effort in this election. please the most important thing is that lets stay safe.
1611  Economy / Economics / Re: Can commodities return to its price last year? on: February 07, 2023, 07:46:57 PM
Inflation rapidly increased this year. Basic food stuffs like egg, oil for cooking, meat, and fish here in our country almost doubled compared to its price last year. I'm wondering if it's possible that the price of commodities will return to its previous years. If so, how or what will cause it to happen. It's just scary to think that our money continues to depreciate over the years. Will there be a time that will come where average earners like me won't be able to afford a basic life anymore.

Food prices depend on energy prices. If energy (natural gas, electricity etc) prices will go down, groceries' prices will follow. There's a fair chance it's going to happen this year. Energy prices skyrocketed last year, mostly due to the Russo-Ukrainian war and sanctions, but there are certain signs that the prices may go down. I know in some EU countries electricity prices have already started to decrease. So yes, it's entirely possible that we're going to see some lower prices later this year.  Roll Eyes
Speaking of energy affecting the price of commodities, you are correct that fuel is particularly important for moving groceries and other goods. However, even though the war is not currently affecting Nigeria, the price of fuel has significantly increased, which has had an impact on the price of everything in the nation. What is surprising is that once the price of commodities increases, it never decreases in my own region.
1612  Economy / Economics / Re: How to thrive with low income in a humble area on: February 06, 2023, 09:08:00 PM
To thrive with a low income, the individual must have a monthly budget and stick to it strictly. Failure to do this would result in the individual falling into debt, and this can spiral into an unending hardship. Also, always go back to your budget and have an emergency fund set aside to take care of any unforeseen situations that may come up later.
I think management is very important, regardless of the amount of income. All you said is true, and once you don't manage well it starts resulting into always collecting borrowing before receiving your payment. It is better to plan because he or she who does not plan in life is then planning to fail. That is where most people go wrong because they do not budget their income and do not plan.
1613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption growing stronger everyday on: February 06, 2023, 08:22:50 PM
El Savaldo adoption has opened people's eyes in many nations and individuals' eyes, and the way bitcoin is gaining popularity has shown it to be one of the greatest inventions ever created in time, I believe in time, and now would have been the best time for Nigeria to use bitcoin payment because Nigeria is currently having problems with transaction and fiat, so bitcoin adoption would have been a great solution.
1614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 06, 2023, 02:50:19 PM
Manchester City is really unlucky in this match, Mahrez's shot hit the pole while Alvarez's shot hit Dier's knee, if not it would be 2-1 favor on Manchester City. Tottenham doesn't create any good chance except the first one where scored by Harry Kane. This might be the first time where Haaland doesn't shot at least 1 ball in Premier League, Tottenham's midfielder and defenders are successfully stop Haaland for getting chance to have a ball.

After all Haaland is the better in making decision among the other Manchester City's strikers.
Everything is working good for arsenal after they lost to Everton,  arsenal is very lucky and should never allow what happened in the last game against Everton to happen again because if they keep on losing their games they will find it difficult to win Premier league this season. I never believed a team like Everton could win arsenal.
Arsenal still have the advantage of winning the league if they can continue with their winning strategy. Losing 1-0 to Everton wasn't good but they were lucky that Man city also lost their game which kept the point different the same. Manchester city has the advantage to narrow this gap but they were reluctant to do so.

Man United are favourites to win. They are in a good mental state. But underestimating Leeds is a mistake. Ten Hag has to play its best players to keep winning and get 3 points. Casemiro's absence shouldn't be a problem, Ten Hag can implement a different strategy. Or shift Bruno more to the middle with Eriksen.
I don't think Ten Hag will ever think of underestimating whoever the opponent they will face, and for sure he will play his best squad (except for those who must be absent) because Man United is slowly getting into the title race and Ten Hag definitely wants to show that the Man United squad is in the right hands.

Man United has an 8 point difference with Arsenal and of course, it will not be easy to catch up with it (moreover Arsenal has one game less than Man United). But in football, anything can happen, so as long as the opportunity exists, Man United must keep trying their best.
Manchester united are in their super form and shouldn't be worried about their game against leed. The game will be an additional three point to Manchester united points so that they can keep moving up,if possible catch up with Manchester city. Casemiro absence shouldn't be a problem, since Eric Tan Hag would bring a good replacement to cover up his wing.

Even though it is uncertain whether Manchester United will defeat LEEDS, they shouldn't undervalue them in the same way that Man City undervalued Tottenham. If it is the truth, Manchester United is currently in form, but don't be surprised to see the game end in a draw or with Leeds winning 1:0, similar to how it did between City and Tottenham. Games are getting more difficult to anticipate.
1615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 06, 2023, 01:16:53 PM
It seems that Real Madrid will have to give up its desire to defend the league title this season. In the previous match Real Madrid lost at home to Mallorca, while Barcelona were able to beat hosts Sevilla on the road last night. The consistent results presented by Xavi and his players made their position at the top of the standings very solid with 53 points and Real Madrid had to be willing to win 45 points. The distance of 8 points makes it impossible for Ancelotti and his players to catch Barcelona and it takes 4 matches that end in defeat for Barcelona if Real Madrid wants to shift it from the standings.
Yes, Barcelona are likely to be champions this season and show everyone that they have finally recovered from last season's failure. Real Madrid cannot make a good game without Benzema. I don't know when he can play again, but without him Real is losing points. It will be very difficult for them to catch up with Barcelona now.
The way things are going currently in la Liga Barcelona is likely to become champions the way things are going Madrid is not putting in effort compared to when the season started and now Barcelona is leading real Madrid with about 8 points and Barcelona has won their last five matches and Madrid have lost two games and draw one if they can put more effort they can catch up with Barca.
1616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 06, 2023, 12:42:38 PM
With City's misfortune because they missed several chances they had in that match made  Arsenal who cheered, this was probably the match that Arsenal had been really looking forward to because losing to Everton made City have the opportunity to get closer in point difference but unfortunately City could not win.
Manchester City missed a great opptunity yesterday, actually they performed well but they missed all the opportunies they had yesterday, if they won their match yesterday, Arsenal will have been leading them with just two points, which I was thinking Manchester city will definitely do everything possible to win Tottenham but were not really lucky yesterday, now Arsenal is now leading them with five points again, I know this is what Arsenal having been praying for since they lose against Everton.
It now equates to both Man City losing and Arsenal losing. I was concerned that if Manchester City wins, their points will begin to mimic Arsenal's, which I don't want to happen. Also, if people had predicted a straight win for Man City yesterday, I would have loved to see the look on their faces. But that's football for you, you can never predict what will happen in a game. We'll see what happens next.
1617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 04, 2023, 07:13:37 PM
The performance of Arsenal today left me unsatisfied. They are too rusty, and once they have had some time off the field, their performance has suffered significantly. They need to work on this, and from the start of the game, I wasn't confident in their victory because Everton's new coach will give them an advantage. Nevertheless, they gave it their all. Next match we should  be ready.
1618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 03, 2023, 09:25:57 PM
I don't know what's wrong with Mitrovic in Fulham, if he's tired, they should replace him and put someone who is ready to play. Madueke starting the second half has actually turned the tables for Chelsea. The boy is actually good, and the new signing Enzo, I don't see anything that the dude is playing and now is looking as if Chelsea is playing under frustration which is very bad for the game.
1619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 03, 2023, 08:35:17 PM
Chelsea had a strong start, but at some point fulham took the initiative. As t. Silva attempted to score for Chelsea, the game became more interesting. Ziyech is a good player when it comes to playing corners, but one annoying aspect of Chelsea is that they are constantly selling and buying players. This may have led to a draw. Fulham  is currently playing better than Chelsea, let's see the out come.
1620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 03, 2023, 07:40:01 AM

It won't be easy for fulham today because Chelsea's performance has improved significantly. Given the way Chelsea is adding players, I wonder how the game will end. Since Chelsea hasn't played well this season, I don't think I can choose them in any of my games. Instead, with Chelsea giving 1.62 odd and fulham a 5.25 odd, and we'll see how things pan out. Definitely not missing the match because of my fiends supporting Chelsea.
